	<description>Event Date: 08/05/2009 9:00 AM
The one-day program is designed for young teens ages 11-14 who are interested in becoming babysitters. Participants will learn the basics of caring for children such as changing a diaper, feeding infants and toddlers, how to calm an upset child, and much more. Participants will also learn the importance of responsibility, how to recognize an emergency, personal safety tips, and basic first aid and fire safety. This all-day course will help babysitters build their self-confidence as caretakers, as well as teach them many necessary skills to care for children properly.

Registration is required. Your registration is not complete until we receive a completed form and any required fees. Class size is limited!

This babysitting class is a training ground for your child to work independently; therefore we encourage children to attend the class without their parents.
