Visit Fit4AllkidsVille at Great Explorations Children's Museum in St. Petersburg

All Children's Hospital has partnered with Great Explorations in St. Petersburg to share important lessons about children's health and safety. We're pleased to announce that Fit4AllkidsVille, a new kid-friendly interactive exhibit opened to the public on Friday, January 18th, at 11:00am. The second floor of the museum will feature colorful and fun learning areas that cover nutrition, fitness, sports safety and general health.

Children miss more days of school every year due to asthma than any other illness Nearly 1 in 10 children in the U.S. have asthma 8.9 million children have been diagnosed with asthma Asthma is the third-ranking cause of childhood hospitalizations under the age of 15 The purpose of Family Asthma Day is to improve asthma self-management skills and awareness for children with asthma and their families and to strengthen the partnership between the medical community, families and schools in working with children who have asthma. The Suncoast Pediatric Asthma Coalition is working to improve children's health in our community. We are a group of concerned parents, health care providers, educators and others. Our coalition is an advocate for children and families who deal with asthma daily.
