Taking a walk through the woods should not present us with any real danger, but it could - and most of the time, it is a secret and hidden danger. We usually can’t detect it until after it has victimized us. This danger is a small creature called a tick.

The breed was originally only found on the rugged island of Arapawa, situated at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. The origin of the goat population on this island has often been associated with the expeditions of Captain James Cook. Historical records indicate that Cook released goats on the island in 1777.

Herbs are absolutely crucial for good cooking and good food.

This pleasant pastoral scene is a fine picture to have, but rural livestock keepers must always bear in mind that healthy, happy animals don’t just happen. It takes time, work and a proper program of routine vaccinations and veterinary advice and service to keep livestock health at its peak.
