Catrina was ultimately given a starring role in the commercial. According to Catrina’s mom, the production crew members “. . . were extremely impressed with her professionalism, talent, and ability to follow direction, I mentioned that she was enrolled in the acting program at Academy of Cinema and Television.”

Congrads girls!  Job well done.

She was very impressed with the level of talent she saw and has called back several of our students. As with most casting directors’ callbacks, there is no immediate action necessary from our students. Their names will go into her database and when, and if, she finds something that they would be right for she will contact them. Congratulations to you all!

“Nicole’s had a lot of success since starting her classes at ACT last summer.  She’s had a few callbacks from agents and was signed by the S.I.M. Agency here in Phoenix after auditioning at ACT.  She’s also gotten lead roles in two amazing theater productions at Spotlight Youth Theatre (winner of numerous Zoni Awards for their productions).  She was Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka and currently is in the role of Brigitta in their Sound of Music production.  She loves her ACT classes and has made some friends there too and always enjoys going [to class]!”     ~ Teresa Rowe

The book is written by a former Editor-in-Chief of “Back Stage West” magazine who is also has a contributing Los Angeles Times theatre critic.  His book is not a “how-to” about Hollywood.  It is more about the inside stories that happened to the various cast members, including those that didn’t make the cut.  An interesting and insightful read for our older students.
