Jesus was not what the Jewish people expected. They failed to recognize their need for a Savior, and they neglected the spirit and lived by the law. They made salvation a complicated ordeal. We as Christians need to tighten our thoughts as Pastor Bob says. Taking every thought captive. We need to learn to control them and not let our thoughts run away from being Godly ones. We are to live sober and sensible lives. Christ wants us to rest on His return and be doing the right thing when he does. We are to be holy as He is holy. The main point of the message was that to "Always remember that Christianity is a relationship not a religion."
