Paul Liberti has booked hundreds of V/O spots and animated series including Pokemon, Blues Clues, Noggin's, Pinky Dinky Doo, Saturday Night Live Cartoons and Sesame Street. He's also performed on Broadway as well as film and TV.

Then we've got the perfect class for you with funny man Richard Kline. Best known for playing Larry on Three's Company for 7 seasons, Richard is a professional Broadway/TV actor and award-winning theater director who was most recently seen as the Wizard of Oz in Wicked(1st National Tour), November on Broadway and in the feature film I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry starring Adam Sandler.

In this class, you'll be working on-camera with Richard on comedic scenes taken from film and TV. Emphasis is on script analysis, "finding the funny", and then using mechanics(timing, pace,physicality etc.) and believability to create the role. Each week you'll be put on tape, and then view your work for feedback and re-direct. You'll also get info and background on everything from the audition process to the table read to the on-set experience from an expert on BOTH sides of the camera! An experience not to be missed by actors interested in comedy!

In the 4th class, a TOP NY Agent will come in and give feedback on everyone's work as well provide insight into the industry.

Each week you'll polish your film audition technique by working intensively on-camera, performing both cold and prepared scenes from indie features with a reader. The first week you'll work on cold sides. The second week you'll work with a prepared scene from a full script that Brette will have emailed you in advance giving you the full history of your character. What EXACTLY is a "co-star"? If you're not sure how to answer that question, or if you want to delve deeper into auditioning on camera, this is the class for you.

In three weeks, you will work on your on-camera technique specific to auditioning for co-star roles on sit-coms and dramas. In addition to defining the difference between "co-stars", "guest stars", "recurring roles" and "series regulars", class will include: working with a reader, dealing with the pre-read/pre-screen format, interpretation of sides, listening, pacing, and cold copy skills. Erica will also teach you how to handle the call back and auditioning for directors and producers.

For the first class, you will be given cold sides on the night of and from there each week, Erica will email you sides for each session to prepare.

Working daily with James Calleri, Erica casts films, TV pilots and theatre projects. Currently they are casting Army Wives for LifeTime TV. Previous credits include casting NBC's Lipstick Jungle, IFC's ZRock, Ed, Chappelle's Show on Comedy Central and 3 seasons of Hope and Faith for ABC.

Roz's students have been asking for an advanced class with SUPERSTAR Roz Coleman and here it is. Picking up from where her technique class left off, this 4-week class is designed to create momentum in the areas of improving your craft for on-camera acting as well as creating career building strategies.

You'll work with Roz on different genres for film/TV including guest star roles, co-star roles (1-6 lines), series regulars and high concept dramas by using scripts from shows like LOST and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Roz will work on multiple takes with each actor acting as an on-set coach and for the last session you'll get to simulate a call back/screen test.

Roz will also focus on the business of SHOWBUSINESS including career advancement homework and more!

CLASS PREREQUISITE: To register for this class, you must have studied with Roz in her In Treatment class, worked with her previously or already have film and TV credits. Good acting is good acting, whether it's on a stage, in front of a camera, or behind a mic. Advertisers are not looking for a voice, they're looking for a person. The breakdown of a casting session repeatedly says "a regular person, casual, non-announce, no sell." Your job is to bring that regular person to the mic.

In these 4 sessions, our goal is to discover YOUR VOICE. Your voice as a mom or dad, a teacher, a truck driver, an employee, a friend... You will explore your instrument through various kinds of current copy, discovering and expanding your range as you work. And you will be coached according to your needs. Every actor, every voice is unique. You will get the individual attention you deserve as well as working on the techniques needed to pursue a voice-over career.

Major emphasis is placed on script analysis. You will be trained to view the black and white words as a goldmine to explore on your way to delivering reads that are not only professional, but highly considerate of the buyers intentions. Individual vocal problems are addressed, such as glottal attacks, throat or mouth tensions, or breathing issues.

You will work at the mic at every class. And the learning that happens as you listen to your peers is invaluable--you get to hear what works and what doesn't.

In the 4th class, Top NY Casting Director Donna DeSeta will come in and give feedback on everyone's work as well provide insight into the V/O industry.

Maggie Phillips has been a working union actor and teacher for over two decades. A 15-year stage career at some of the top LORT regional houses, she has had the opportunity to perform many of Shakespeare's ladies, Tennessee Williams' heroines, and a Eugene O'Neill victim. On the other end of the spectrum, her experience in contemporary theater is vast, both comedy and drama, and she has had the great good fortune to originate several roles in new plays. In front of a camera, Maggie created the role of Marianne on "The Guiding Light", and has an indie film "Aquarium" which won an Honorable Mention at this January's Sundance Film Festival and played at Brooklyn Academy of Music in June. As a voice-over, she has been heard on scores of commercials for everything from retail to pharmaceuticals to automobiles to cosmetics. From one of the largest TV/film casting offices in NYC and home to the prestigious Law and Order franchise, Kevin brings years of experience working with Lynn Kressel to this Advanced film/TV class. Casting daily for TV series, mini-series, MOW's and feature films, Kevin will coach you on audition techniques specific to these two areas. Whether you're auditioning for an episodic or a feature, this class will teach you the things you need to know that can help you to get the call-back and then BOOK the job.

The 1st week, you will have prepared an episodic scene given to you in advance based on your headshot/resume that you have uploaded to your AC online account. You will find out immediately if your headshot/resume "represent" what you are trying to market from a Casting Director's perspective. Week #2 you'll be working on a scene from a feature film chosen for you based on your work in week one and the 3rd and final week, you'll work on a prepared scene from Law and Order. All 3 sessions are ON CAMERA.

Kevin is currently the associate casting director for Lynn Kressel where he is currently casting series regular's for "Law & Order: Los Angeles", ABC's Stephen King mini-series "Bag Of Bones", the indie film "Beautiful Now" and the TV movie "Dashing Through The Snow." He also just completed casting for the feature film "Blind" and "Secrets In The Walls" a TV movie for Lifetime. Past projects include: "Eat Pray Love" starring Julia Roberts, "How Do You Know" starring Paul Rudd, Reese Witherspoon, and Owen Wilson, the Sci-Fi Channel Mini-Series and Pilots: "Riverworld", "The Phantom" and "Alice", feature films: Four Backyards, Movie of the Week-Unorthodox, series regular casting for Original Sin, the feature film The Stanford Prison Experiment, the NBC mini-series The Last Templar, The Other Side of the Truth with Ricky Gervais, the Sci Fi Channel mini-series Tin Man, series regular casting for Flash Gordon, and the feature Nights In Rodanthe (starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane).
