Show Season Update and Invitation

Today is the last day of the Dallas show and the first day of the Special Event show in Tampa. Then it's on to Vegas to close out a busy show season. We are so grateful to all our customers and new friends who have already visited us in Atlanta and Dallas. Everyone has been loving our new products, so be sure to stop by one of our showrooms to see them for yourself!

If you're in Dallas today, visit us at suite 280 in the Dallas Market Center. We'd also love to see you at The Special Event in Tampa. And we are especially excited about our brand new Vegas showroom! We are looking forward to seeing many of you, and meeting lots of new customers too. So make plans now to stop by the Vegas show and visit our brand new showroom in the World Market Center, Building C Suite C-896.

For those of you who can't visit any of our trade shows this season, you can also browse and purchase all of our newest collection on our website. And here's a quick peek into our Vegas showroom. A big thank you to Kevin Ylvisaker and our design team for putting together our fabulous showrooms this season!

One last thing . . . We've mentioned before that Accent Decor is passionate about giving back to the community. One of the organizations we partner with is Blueprint 58, a mentoring program in inner-city Atlanta that was started by Rebecca Stanley. Rebecca has worked at Accent Decor for nearly 7 years, focusing on our web presence. Rebecca has been recognized for her work with inner-city kids, and nominated for an award from Glamour Magazine, we'd love it if you could take a minute and vote for her. Also, for every vote cast, Glamour is donating $1 to Sally Hansen's charity partner DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donor center whose mission is to recruit bone marrow donors to help save the lives of leukemia patients. Thank-you!

Our showroom in Atlanta is a big hit! Sometimes you have to wait in line for us to take your order but there's baked goodies, refreshments, and lots of eye candy to keep you busy while you wait. We're also giving away gift bags and 2012 catalogs.
Kevin Ylvisaker is our premier showroom designer this season. He worked with Mandy Majerik in Atlanta doing the basic set-up and Mandy did the final details while Kevin moved on to Dallas. If you can't make Atlanta, we would love to see you in Dallas January 18-24. Learn more on the Dallas Market website.

Today, Kevin is on his way to Vegas with the rest of our crew to get ready for the grand opening of our new showroom in the World Market Center January 30- February 3. We are so excited about this, and just cannot wait for you to see everything. There's still time to book your winter get away!

We are getting so close to show season. The Atlanta show is just around the corner (January 11-18). I cant wait for you to see everything we have in store for you guys at the show this season. Be sure to make plans to visit our showroom. Our showroom is in the Merchandise mart, 18th Floor Suite 18B1. I'll post pictures and sneak peeks on the blog for everyone who can't make it. But there is nothing better than seeing all the inspiration in person!

I also wanted to let you know about something I stumbled upon this morning while I was reading one of my favorite bloggers (and stylists/designers). It turns out that Emily from Secrets from a Stylist is teaching a seminar at Americasmart during the show. So I just wanted to point out that there is a fabulous full lineup of seminars and classes they're offering this year. Yet another reason to come visit the show in Atlanta! Be sure to check them out.

Making Room for 2012

It's hard to believe that 2011 is nearly finished and 2012 is just around the corner. That means a new year with new products coming in, and we need to make room! We've discontinued many items and added them to our sale section, just so we can clear space . . . Shop these discontinued items and save big while they last. We have a Christmas tree that we put up in our office this year. We love walking in to see it all decorated with our ornaments, snow, and other fun products.

We thought, however that we could do more with our Christmas tree this year. We've partnered with Blueprint 58 to make our Christmas tree extra special, providing Christmas for a family in need is just one way that we have decided to give back to our community this year. Thanks for supporting us and allowing us to do these types of things . . .we cant wait to see all the presents for these excited kiddos under our tree!

As we round the corner into the holidays, we are well into preparations for the show season and unveiling the new line. The line is amazing and we can't wait for you to see all the beautiful pieces we have in store. Keep checking the website, and also start making plans to visit our shows where you can see the full line unveiled.

We are getting December off to a great start with some amazing specials. The flyer is in the mail - check your mailboxes! But just in case you can't wait, we're attaching it here too.

We love new things, don't you? And we have LOTS of new things going on right now. We have new products on our website . . . and a brand new showroom in Vegas! That's right, we are so excited to unveil our beautiful new showroom (C896) in January (January 30-February 2nd to be exact). It's going to be amazing - start making plans now to visit.

Mandy Majerik isn't a new designer (she is Mayesh's 2012 Mayesh Design Star), but she IS new to us - and she is working with us on a photo shoot this week. We couldn't be more excited, and can't wait for you to see her work - she is so talented! Be sure to keep up with her on her website and blog.
