I have so many ideas, that I'm afraid that lifetime is not enough to develop them. Actually, I'm constantly living in a fear that I could die when I'm still in my 20's. That would be such a bummer!

One sleepless night I decided that I'm gonna master everything I hated - including drawing vehicles and backgrounds, which I love to admire in other people's work, but I always felt that I can't manage to draw them in cool and sexy way.

Since I've been professionally illustrating for press and commercially for over 6 years now, I however still have the feeling that I've missed so much. For example, I always wanted to work in cartoons, games and animation. All of these fields may seem to be similar, but require different skill set. And this is what I want to master.

I'm a bit angry at younger Ada, that during my university years I didn't commit myself enough for 3d and video. I guess, that once you got ensured you are talented, you may get somehow lazy. Just don't, it's a trap! Now, I really need these skills to bring my ideas for the next levels. But, it's not the end of the world, I'm following up with tutorials and lots, lots of practise.

It's not that I'm bored with my signature style, it's just I have space for much, much more. I am, technically, ADDICTED TO DRAWING. Works I keep creating can differ so much, that I wouldn't mix them with my editorial works, since these are distant worlds -- still, 100% genuinely mine, but different.

I've started a new tumblr with all my other works, from character design, speedpainting to concept art and such. It's here: pixsh.tumblr.com I'm sloooowly starting to post my non-editorial works there. I will still post WIPs and process here, don't worry.

It was such an honor for me to illustrate the cover of the most beautiful magazine in the entire world. Little White Lies is a British bi-monthly about movies, brilliantly designed and delivered by The Church of London. Art Direction by Timba Smits.

The Maps to the Stars Issue features the newest David Cronenberg’s movie with Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson. It was such a treat for me as I am a giant movie geek! I even wanted to do the film studies once, but then decided to be an illustrator. Let's call it destiny.

Last year I got my first business email form NYC! I was asked by a lifestyle magazine DuJour to create an illustration about favorites and habits of Josiane Goerl — a local socialite from Houston, TX. They wanted very specific kind of illustration, referring to some of the works I've done previously. Also every detail appearing in the illustration, is a very particular piece from Josiane's list of favorites such as Christian Louboutin's specchio carbone patent spikes and Cavalli blue dress.

And BTW, New York? Goddamn! World, here I come!

In the beginning of the year I was invited to create opening illustrations for Polish food&cooking magazine Kukbuk. The magazine is very modern and well designed. Art Director's idea is to invite different illustrator every issue to create unique openings for breakfast/lunch/dinner and the spread for issue's theme. Mine were cabbages!

I never had a chance to share my contribution in The Great Atlas of Polish Queens I did in 2012. The comic anthology is based on the stories from Lubiewo (eng. Lovetown), bestselling book by Michał Witkowski. The book is a hilarious and very dramatic novel about gays (queens) living in a Communism state.

Series of paintings about choices and helplessness. I wanted to focus on the biological and social pressures of being a woman. Boiling water in Polish is decribed in one word — Wrzątek. I've chosen this particular one to underline the throbbing tension in these seemingly silent and very symbolical situations.

I was asked (by natemat.pl) to interpret chosen part of Poland's anthem.

I took the chorus and mixed it with beautiful Polish folklore and tattooed words of the anthem. It's all because of Euro 2012 which starts tomorrow in Poland and Ukraine. Everybody gets crazy!

Article about restaurants where customers can choose how much they will pay for the meal. It was a commission on a very short notice for Wprost, a Polish weekly. I had only 24 hours till the deadline, including sketches! Usually I have about 3 days to finish the illustration. It's still quite a short deadline, but editorials are my favorites, because I have to work fast and this always gives me a rush of adrenaline.

Zawsze kiedy chcę, żeby było niepokojąco, to zawsze wychodzi mi w czyimś stylu. Już ja wiem w czyim! Jestem skazana na radosne rysunki. Nie urządza mnie to, dlatego muszę ubierać się w czaszki i groźnie marszczyć brwi, kiedy kupuję bułeczki.
