In other news, the search continues for the suspects who opened fire at a weekend block party in Overtown. 12 people were injured, one of them, 21 year old Michelle Coleman died. Last night about 100 people attended a community meeting with police. Authorities say the suspects were targeting a specific person who was not hurt.

DECO DRIVE ROBBERY
The search is also on for the gunman responsible for a violent robbery at a beauty supply store: Deco Drive on NW 52nd Street and 17th Avenue. The suspect dragged a customer across the store before taking money from the register and taking off.

IS BOTTLED WATER SAFE?
Bottled water or tap water, is tap water money down the drain? Bottled water manufacturers are not required to disclose where they get the water, where it’s treated or if its treated at all. An environmental working group found it contained about the same amount of contaminants as tap water, now members of congress are asking bottled water companies to say where bottled water comes from and what’s in it.

MARLINS STADIUM CONSTRUCTION PREP
Construction is set to begin today on the Marlins brand new stadium. Crews are doing some prep work this morning to prepare for that event. Last minute snags kept Miami Dade Commissioners working until about 12:30, finally voting to approve some changes to allow construction to begin. Money was the hold up. The effort to raise 306 million dollars in bonds came up short because of an interest rate problem with the bonds. The Marlins paid the 6 million dollars so the project could stay on schedule. If all goes according to plan the stadium is scheduled to open in 2012.
It is illegal to bring more than two cartons of cigarettes from another state.
Authorities are still trying to figure out how to tax cigarette sales on the internet.
Florida Power and Light has asked the state for a major rate hike, but before regulators agree, they have to hear from customers. FPL wants a 31 percent increase over the next two years. For the average customer it means their base rate would go up about 12 dollars a month. For FPL it means about 1 billion dollars. The Public Service Commission is holding two meetings today.
BRAZILIAN WAX WARNING
Trouble with a popular beauty treatment is making headlines, Brazilian waxes. You can develop complications, an infection called cellulitis. New Jersey almost banned Brazilian waxes after two women had to be hospitalized. The experts say pubic hair is there for a reason to protect skin and membranes in the genital region — and that getting a wax literally strips away that area of protection. If you think you might have a problem after getting a Brazilian wax, doctors say you need to take a mirror and look around down there .. ingrown hairs, redness, irritation or an itching or burning sensation are signs of an infection. Call a doctor.
