Orange Beach Alabama has so many beautiful places to get married and the Phoenix on the Bay II is one of those that top the list. It has a great area for outdoor receptions and weddings. The wedding we recently photographed here was very unique. The bride and groom had an intimate wedding with close family and friends aboard the Reel Escape and then floated right up to the reception where all of their family and friends were waiting on the boardwalk to greet the newlywed couple. It was such a special day and we were so glad to be a part of it. Here are a few of the special moments we captured on Meg and Ted’s wedding day…

Adam and I are excited to share this engagement shoot with you all. Down for a weekend of relaxing at their families cabin in the woods we met up with Ashley and Joshua for a sunrise photo shoot. After a night full of rain the trees were glistening with dew and the light was beautiful. This past November we went to South Carolina for a wedding that we attended instead of worked. Always a real treat. This one was extra special because it was Adam’s brother and he was the Best Man!! If you remember we photographed their surprise engagement earlier last year. The weather was perfect and the views were amazing. Here a just a few of the images I took during the ceremony.

Beautiful weather and family gathered for a special day on the beach is exactly what Rachel and Chase wanted for their wedding. It could not have been more perfect. Thanks guys for letting us be a part of it!!

When Adam and I photograph a wedding we not only try to capture all the special moments that occur between the bride and groom but also show how much time and effort they put into their big day. It’s almost been two years since Adam and I said I do and I still remember going back and forth on colors, flowers, design, etc etc. And when its all done you want to remember all the details you spent countless hours prepping for your one big day. This recent wedding we shot had some really special details. I wanted to take her bouquet home with me.  It was enormous and had such a wonderful array of flowers and succulents bundled up into one beautiful display!!

Today a very sweet girl celebrates her 3rd BIRTHDAY!! This photo shoot was so much fun we got to play with bubbles and balloons on a beautiful day, what more could you ask for!!

I love summer weddings!! And this one was no exception. Beautiful day, blue skies, and one of the happiest couples we have ever had the privilege of photographing.

Adam and I had a blast this past weekend!! A Flint family adventure took us on a top secret mission…photograph Adam’s brother Justin proposing to his girlfriend. Justin had every little detail planned out and took us around Greenville Friday morning laying out all the plans so that we were fully prepared for the evenings excitement. A half hour before they were to arrive at the “SPOT” a squall of thunderstorms were heading straight for Greenville we had to change everything to Plan B before the storm hit! The moment came Justin sang a song for his bride to be and got down on one knee. Everything was so beautiful and she had no idea we were photographing the whole thing until everyone around her was applauding with excitement. And it never rained!!  The next day we hopped around town from Furman University to downtown Greenville to take their engagement pictures. We had a really great time celebrating this moment with the two of them and our families. Here are a few of the highlights from our trip!!
