Rachael and Darrin Lichterman and their kids are probably my favorite family to photograph. Darrin is my wife’s cousin, and we don’t see each other too often, but when we do we always have a blast. Everett, Morgan, and baby Annika are so much fun together, and after a few times photographing together they all pretty much know what’s going on, and this was easily my easiest and most fun session ever! Hey everyone,
I know it’s been a bit since I posted. I spent some time unemployed and looking for a job. I’m now commuting back to Two Rivers, WI to cook at my old high school job. I’m starting seminary classes through my church, so I’m actually pretty busy, and the whole running my own business thing has never gotten past idling on the tarmac, so whatever. It’s a hobby, ’nuff said.

So, I am breaking form and posting a totally personal blog. It’s my blog I can do what I want (=
I just got my new bike! It’s a fixed gear/single speed bike with a flip-flop hub. It came mostly assembled, and I only had a few minor issues, but it’s together, and man is it awesome. It’s my first single speed, and after riding it up and down the large hill by our house I can say I am totally stoked! So much nicer than having to shift. The bike is lighter than a paperweight and is a total rocket… so fast. And on saturday I flip the wheel to go fixed gear (=

Well, I know I am doing pets now, but I don’t have the family/wedding site up yet, and I just have to share these photos! Anne and Eduardo’s wedding is coming up, and I am totally excited for it! I have two awesome typewriters and they loved the idea to write each other old school love notes! This shoot was so much fun, we even got kicked out of a parking garage… for doing nothing. I thought I would take some time to share with you a major part of why I do what I do. Now, I know a lot of people, probably everyone with a dog as a kid, claims they had the best dog ever, and I am no exception. Foxy was not a yipppee Pomeranian, he was something different. He gave me a love for dogs that will last forever, and was truly a best friend. Picking him up from the farm is actually the first thing I can remember!
