Graphics
For a game that came out in 2008, I have to say it looks better than a lot of newer games I’ve seen. It’s graphics however, compared to Dead Space 2, Halo: Reach, or Assassin’s Creed are not as good. (However, those games have about 2 years of extra graphics techniques helping them)

Gameplay
Dead Space’s gameplay is by far what keeps you continue to play it over and over. For example, when you blow someone up in Call of Duty, what do they do? Fall over. In Dead Space, they actually blow into lots of pieces (just like Fallout). The variety of weapons also keeps you laughing at what you just did, then getting scared by the Necromorph that came out from behind of you. Also, even the third time going though an area, you’ll be freaked out by a Necromorph that came out of nowhere.

Necromorphs
The Necromorphs are the worst things ever, of all time. Not meaning that they are “bad” meaning too easy, bad meaning they’ll kill you if you let your guard down.
The First time you fight a Necromorph, right above the gun you pick up it says “CUT OFF THEIR LIMBS” this is the Golden Rule of Dead Space, don’t do this, and you won’t make it past Chapter 2.

Weapons
The first weapon you get in games like this usually are the worst, right? Yes. Luckily, in Dead Space, the first weapon is probably the best in the game if you use it correctly (and if you upgrade it).

Dead Space is easily one of the best games I’ve played, however… your mom’s gonna hate it.

That being said, Red vs. Blue follows the Red and Blue team (referred to as the Reds, and the Blues), however, Church, the leader of Blue team, is the main character.

The Reds

The Red team contains the soldiers Sarge, Grif, Simmons, Dount, and Lopez.

Sarge: No one actually knows his name. He wears red armor, and he is the Red team’s leader.

Grif: Lazy. Wears orange armor. Minor Junior Private Negative First Class is his rank.

Simmons: Crimson. Private. Computer expert of Red team (doesn’t mean he’s good).

Dount: Pink. Private. Well… um… yeah, he’s weird… and not in a good way… at all. “Why would command give me pink armor?” “Don’t ask, don’t tell.”-Dount then Grif

The Blues

The members of Blue team are Church, Tucker, and Caboose.

Church: Cobalt. Private (leader of Blue team). He is a “ghost” and was killed by Caboose.

Tucker: Teal. Private. Most annoying character.

Caboose: Blue. Private. Team Killer (on accident). Stupid beyond belief. Awesome.

As you see, Red vs. Blue is awesome. If you don’t believe me, look it up. I will warn you though, it has a lot of cussing.

Campaign

Without ruining the story for anyone, the campaign is one of the best of the series, and as Bungie said “From the beginning, you know the end,” which is completely true considering the game starts off showing you your helmet with a bullet hole in the visor.

Firefight

Firefight is back, only now, it allows you to customize it. You want a game where you’re invincible, you have a rocket launcher with a bottomless magazine and a jetpack against only Grunts? You can do that.

Forge

Forge is also back, and it’s easier to use now too. However, the easiness of it makes it less good in my opinion since now anyone can make a map that only someone very good at forging could make in Halo 3. However, overall, it’s good.

Multiplayer

Unlike what most of the people on Bungie.net say, Bungie did a good job on Reach’s multiplayer matchmaking. The new “Armor Abilities” add variety to the type of random things can happen during matchmaking.

Final Rating

This part could also be called “First Rating,” since I haven’t rated it yet.

If you like to have fun over and over, with both explosions and guns, then Halo: Reach is easily one of the best games ever. If you don’t, then why did you even read something about Halo?

The biggest problem with this section is that I really don’t have a point, I’m just randomly typing and seeing how many times it results in a word. While that may not be true, I guess this does have a point, and that’s to bore/entertain you with some sort of confusing confuzzlement (makes sense, doesn’t it).

Actually Telling You Something Moderately Informative

At my school, M.G.M.S. (Mountain Gap Middle School), there are good teachers in almost every subject. The subject that receives ”The Hermanator” (yes, that’s her nickname, she’s had it before this year) is science. She isn’t annoying as a person like my last two bad teachers, Ms. Cheatham and Mrs. Etheridge (of 6th and 7th Grades, respectively), she simply doesn’t teach in a way where we understand what she’s talking about and assigns homework within the final seconds of class (that or adds homework to the already large amount of homework).

Well, I figure you’re tired of hearing me rant on about this stuff that doesn’t even affect your life, so I’m almost ready to end this incredibly big (for this site) post.

Multiplayer is another thing that makes LIVE so good. Since it gives you the ability to play with random people. Plus it gives games more replay value.

Oh… and Microsoft likes Xbox LIVE to, since they made about 600 million dollars ONLY off of the subscriptions.

And they probably made tons more off of arcade, add-ons, Zune, and whatever else is on LIVE.

In other words, if you don’t have Xbox LIVE for your Xbox 360, you don’t have everything you could (and should) have for your Xbox. And since its only $50.00 for a years worth, it’s worth it to buy… it.
