The changing face of integrated marketing

The big moment is finally here... your service or product has launched. It's out there. Everything looks good. You've had your marketing strategy developed by a reputable agency, and you just know that you're going to hit this one right out of the park. Fast-forward one year. Your competitor had a better time with their marketing. It went so well that they've stolen all those customers you thought were going to beat down the doors to buy from you. Your perfect marketing plan seems just a distant memory. Now, only one question rings in your mind: "Where did we go wrong?"<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/AdamsCreative-Articles/~4/134216527" height="1" width="1"/>

The changing face of search engine optimisation

On 16th May 2007, Google changed search engine optimisation forever.
Up until this time, search results had been a list of ten links, with some variations. Occasionally you'd get a second tier indented listing, or a top result with four or five smaller links to deeper pages underneath it. This meant that the job of any SEO was obvious - make sure that the site is well designed, all the pages have unique tags, all the parts work and you've got some good quality links coming in. Now though, it's less easy. For instance, how do you get a YouTube video to rank well? How do you optimise to appear in the Google OneBox (the box that appears at the top of listings when you search for a service in a specific location, such as chinese restaurant London)? These are the new frontiers of search optimisation.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/AdamsCreative-Articles/~4/134216529" height="1" width="1"/>

Like it or not, online marketing is here to stay, and it's transforming the way we do business online.
In the end, the web is defined and sculpted by people. Web design has evolved to make sites more attractive, easier to navigate, and more user friendly. Why? To please users.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/AdamsCreative-Articles/~4/174873112" height="1" width="1"/>
