Adams Foam, a Chicago Foam company just shipped our historic 75000th order. From a small Chicago storefront near the corner of Milwaukee, Ogden and Chicago Ave., to a factory on Canal Street, to our current location in Brighton Park near Midway Airport, we have continuously served customers in the bedding, furniture, and packaging industries and we are very happy to be celebrating this diamond milestone. Our expanded in-house capabilities have grown from simple sewing machines and band saws, to state-of-the-art CNC machinery and CAD-based engineering of products. We thank all of our customers, large and small for their continued business, and we are eagerly looking forward to our 100,000th order.

Adams Foam Sponsors CURE Golf Outing

Adams Foam is committed to support CURE and we thank all of our customers and professional associates who directly and indirectly have supported this important cause.

August 29, 2007 was the 3rd annual Drive for CURE charity golf outing to raise funds for CURE (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy). 125 Golfers participated, up from last year's 114, at Thunderhawk Golf Club in the far northern suburbs of Chicago. The winning team scored an impressive 10 under par at this 4 man scramble best ball format, and the team of Lonny and Brad Gold, with Dan Saviano of Regal Seating and Bruce Johnson of Kinetics Container, earned a second place finish with a total score of 65. Thunderhawk is considered one of the most challenging and beautiful public courses in Illinois, and we thank them for their hospitality as well.

The event is run by Susan and Jim Schneider with the assistance and support of many friends and family who have witnessed the debilitating effects Epilepsy has brought to their daughter, Julie Schneider (25).

The idea for Drive for CURE was first introduced by Adams Foam's President Lonny Gold in March 2005, at the 35th pledge class reunion of the Psi Chapter of Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity from the University of Illinois class of 1973. Lonny states, "My intention was to raise awareness to my classmates of the plight of one of our fraternity brothers, Jim Schneider and his daughter, Julie." From that inception, the outing has, in just three years, raised more than $ 170,000.00 net going to CURE for research.

Thanks to everyone for their support, and we look forward to seeing you at the outing again next year.

We've launched our new web site!

Adams Foam is proud to announce the unveiling of its new website. Working with Sway, Adams Foam has created this new website to help educate the public and potential and existing customers about what we do, who we are, and why we have been fabricating foam in Chicago for 57 years.

Our new website not only celebrates the history of our company and the sustained viability of our industry, but also marks an important milestone in the continuing evolution and technological advancement of Adams Foam. Our goal is to provide every one of our customers with not only the best fabricated foam products, but also the best service available. As such, this website is also a representation of our commitment to complete customer service.

We invite you to take a few minutes and tour our entire site and gain an understanding of what makes foam so interesting, versatile, and dare we say, fun! As you browse our site, we hope that you'll both learn about foam and begin to notice all of the items in your house or office that are made with foam, and trust us, there are a lot. If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments, please feel free to contact us using the portal on our site, and we thank you for visiting our home on the internet.
