HurryCane - The All-Terrain Cane; Freedom Edition

The #1 selling cane on Amazon just got better! This is the cane that is featured on National television! The Freedom Edition includes a re-designed feet locking system with the WhisperFlexTM base design, for a smooth and silent pivot. Inspired by the Most Advanced Machine on Earth: The Human Body. We built it from the ground up to feel like an extension of the body. Engineered with 4 critical innovations: 1. Stabilizes like a foot: Just like the human foot, the HurryCane gives you 3 points of contact for superior balance and stability. It naturally simulates your instinctive walking motion to provide you firm footing on any surface. Whether you're sitting or standing, the SteadiGripTM base gives you more traction at any angle. 2. Pivots like an ankle: The ankle is the most complex joint in the body because it has the trickiest job: support your full weight while giving you the flexibility to walk, run and turn on a dime. It automatically pivots to help you maintain balance on inclines, uneven ground and shifting terrain. We designed the HurryCane's proprietary pivoting head to meet the same demanding standards - and it does it all, automatically. 3. Bends like a knee: Your knees bend to help you get in and out of restrictive places like cars. But the HurryCane is even better: instead of one joint, you get 2! When you need to store it in a purse, glove box or under a chair, the HurryCane folds up in seconds to one-third its normal size. And when you need, it flips out instantly. While our cane has two joints, it's still strong and sturdy enough to be pressure-tested to support 350 pounds. 4. Changes in height: People come in all different heights. With just the push of a button, it instantly adjusts to any of 8 convenient heights, ranging from 30.5\" to 37.5". To enhance your mobility experience add these HurryCane Accessories: HurryCane Replacement Feet & the Heavenly Handle. Weight capacity of 350 lbs.

Pregnancy and Yeast Infection

2012-07-18T18:58:00.003-07:00

Prior to discussing the complexity linking the chances of contracting Candida infections with pregnancy, we'll take a brief glance at the initial physiological reasons for the yeast infection ailment. However the question still needs to be answered, does pregnancy make a woman's body even more at risk concerning yeast infections? Many women about to give birth are worried about this. The truth is that Candida infection is twice as probable during pregnancy compared to situations outside of pregnancy.
Yeast infection in the vagina is characterized by thick, white vaginal discharge with the appearance of cottage cheese and discomfort while having sex. Almost three-quarters of women in western nations will be afflicted by this kind of infection once in their lifetime and many of them will have to continue enduring
chronic Candida infections. As a matter of fact, Candidiasis, or yeast infection, is a fungal infection appearing locally or systemically with particular impact on women in western countries. The most frequent kind of yeast infection is vaginal infection of which the typical symptoms include a burning feeling and itching
especially around the vaginal area.
Candida exists to a greater or lesser degree in the intestinal and genital tracts of most people, but fungal overgrowth can bring on painful and debilitating consequences and also significant health complications. Yeast in this medical context means single-celled fungi. The common name, Candida, applies to the strain of fungi often seen in the human body under normal conditions as well.
Different elements which may be internal, external, lifestyle-related or psychological then directly or indirectly form the context in which Candida multiplication comes about. As with many other medical problems, Candida overgrowth comes about because of group of factors and related interactions.

In addition, emotional stress affecting many women when pregnant and while expecting a child may as a consequence degrade the immune system and increase the chance of yeast overgrowth.
Pregnant women also often develop fixations on sugar-rich or white flour containing foods. As traditionally, pregnant women are allowed, even pushed to obey such cravings, these sugars and refined carbohydrates increase even more the threat of yeast infection powered by these sugary environments.
In pregnancy, a woman's body undergoes changes at several levels including hormonal, physiological and psychological. These changes conspire to engender excessive Candida overgrowth and the accompanying symptoms. Pregnancy-induced hormonal changes modify the vaginal context and make fungi more likely to grow beyond acceptable limits.

Ignoring Candidiasis can lead to systemic yeast infection, with significant negative effects both in terms of quality of life and overall well being. Since pregnant women may not use many of the antifungal medications or antibiotic treatments available to others, it is even more important to find another solution for candidiasis during this moment of childbearing. Finding a remedy for candidiasis in expecting women is crucial, because otherwise infection can be communicated from the mother to her baby through the birth canal during pregnancy or during
childbirth, or afterwards via breast-feeding.
The holistic approach using modifications in dietary and lifestyle changes and eliminating toxins, can stop all types of yeast infection and also prevent their recurrence safely and effectively for pregnant women and the babies that they are carrying. Did you hear the news about the 100% natural holistic methods that
can be used to remedy yeast infections permanently and safely?

Pregnant womenwho want a complete and lasting answer to candidiasis can use holistic methods to rid themselves of this condition by taking a set of specific home remedies to relieve the symptoms and by using holistic all natural guidelines that address the fundamental issues to tackle the real problem.

This article is based on the book, "Yeast Infection No More" by Linda Allen. Linda is an author, researcher, nutritionist and health consultant who dedicated her life to creating the ultimate holistic yeast infection solution guaranteed to permanently cure the root of candida and dramatically improve the overall quality of your life, naturally, without the use prescription medication and without any side effects. New Research Reveals: Teeth LITERALLY Start To Dissolve After One Bottle of Soda!

2012-07-18T18:38:00.000-07:00

According to new research, many popular drinks, including sports drinks, and even your morning glass of orange juice, are so acidic that they can weaken your teeth in just a few mouthfuls. In fact, some are so powerful they may literally be washing away your teeth while you’re drinking them!
Dr. Yan-Fang Ben and his research team, based at the University of Rochester’s Medical Center in New York, performed microscopic analyses of the surface of teeth exposed to ordinary orange juice. While it has long been known that fruit juice can affect tooth enamel (the hard surface of the tooth), it was commonly believed that serious damage only occurs over a long period of time. They were very surprised therefore, to discover an incredible 84% reduction in enamel strength almost immediately. Dr. Ben commented that the effect ‘is so strong, the tooth is literally washed away
In another study, Professor Mark Wolff at New York University analysed the effects of the acids in sports drinks, which have become hugely popular in recent years, on cow's teeth, which closely resemble those of a human. Half the teeth were dipped into the sports drink to simulate the effect of sipping a bottle of one over the course of a day, while the rest were dipped into water instead. This experiment was repeated with several major brands of sports drink, but the effect was the same for them all: At the annual meeting of the International Association for Dental Research, they reported a massive amount of erosion and softening in the teeth after "drinking" just ONE bottle. Those dipped in water suffered no ill effects. This is the first time sports drinks have been definitively linked to erosive tooth wear.
When asked to comment on the results, one major manufacturer of sports drinks dismissed the results, and claimed there is "no relationship between the consumption of sports drinks and erosion". However, another equally-large manufacturer of a rival sports drink said their product was only intended to keep people hydrated and refuelled during exercise and in order to "avoid any dental issues" it should not be "sipped or swilled around the mouth, but swallowed quickly".
Dentists advise that acidic fruit juices and sports drinks should be consumed using straws, or at the same time as eating food, to minimise the damage. Drinking water afterwards will help neutralise the acid too but, perhaps surprisingly, brushing your teeth right after is NOT recommended. Because of the softened-state of the enamel, they will be vulnerable to the abrasive chemicals used in ordinary toothpaste, as well as being damaged by the mechanical action of the brushing itself. (Most people brush too hard on their teeth anyway, even when they aren't softened by acidic drinks.) Click Here!

Accutane Side Effects Exposed: Side Effects of the Miracle Drug and the Alternative to Accutane

2012-07-18T18:24:00.000-07:00

If you suffer from severe case of acne that has failed to respond to conventional treatments such as antibiotics, then your dermatologist may recommend the use of the popular Accutane or Isotretinoin. Accutane is a potent oral drug from Hoffman-LaRoche that has been proven highly effective for reducing acne symptoms dramatically after only one course of 15-20 weeks.

With its undoubting success at battling even the toughest cases of acne and ever-growing popularity among teens as a miracle drug, why is Accutane still considered the most controversial pharmaceutical on the market? The answer: a documented list of severe and sometimes permanent side effects.

Although some of the side effects associated with the use of Isotretinoin are mild and tolerable (dry lips, dry eyes, nosebleeds, extremely dry skin, increased sensitivity to the sun and thinning hair) there is in fact a long list of serious side effects that have been reported due to the use of Accuttane which persisted even after the drug therapy was stopped. Among those are: Severe aches and pains in the lower back and large joints, severe allergy reactions that include moderate rashes and difficulty to breath, vision problems, hearing loss, permanent liver damage, persistent migraines and headaches and skeletal hyperostosis which is an excessive bone growth that occurs along the sides of the spine.

But perhaps, the two most bothersome of all Accutane side effects are its potential to cause severe birth defects if taken by pregnant women or women that became pregnant while taking the drug and the suggested link between the intake of Accutane and the changes in mood, severe depression and suicidal thoughts.

Since, Isotretinoin can be harmful to the fetus, it should not be used during pregnancy and women should avoid pregnancy for at least a month after the use of Accutane. Additionally, because of its severe side effects, nursing mothers must avoid the drug completely.

Although researchers still argue whether Isotretinoin causes depression or not, Roche the manufacturer of Accutane, openly shares information claiming that Accutane and its generic, isotretinoin, can alter mood: "Synthetic derivatives of vitamin A, can negatively impact brain chemicals such as dopamine and serotonin."

The FDA website warns: "All patients treated with isotretinoin should be observed closely for symptoms of depression or suicidal thoughts, such as sad mood, irritability, acting on dangerous impulses, anger, loss of pleasure ... mood disturbance, psychosis, or aggression."

Moreover, statistics show that between 1989 and 2003, there were 216 reported drug-linked suicides among U.S. teens younger than 18. Of these, 72 suicides were linked to Accutane (isotretinoin). The next highest number of suicides in that time period -- 55 -- involved Prozac (fluoxetine).

Accutane works by reducing the size and output of the sebaceous glands and thus stops excess oil production. The problem is that Accutane damages your skins sebum glands and liver function in the process. By the time you stop taking the drug, your skin oil glands will return to function but your liver will not be able to properly balance your hormones and prevent the over production of sebum.

Isotrteinoin also normalizes your keratinization (the shedding of dead skin cells), improves fat metabolism and reduces inflammation. But all of these benefits can be easily achieved using all natural dietary, supplementation and skin care alternatives and without the side effects. For example: Foods that are rich in Vitamin A and Beta Carotene can help reduce the secretion of oil by the sebaceous glands. Simple home made peels made of Papaya can easily replace the peeling action of Isotrerinoin and sleep optimization, and regular exercising including vitamin, C, E, Zinc and Colostrum can boost the immune abilities of the body and thus reduce inflammation.

Accutane is not the solution to acne. Not only does it treat the symptoms of the disease and not the internal cause, stopping your skin's natural oil production, can in most cases, result in extra dryness combined with the acceleration of the skin's aging process (yes! your skin will look older). Moreover, Accutane severely damages your liver function among other side effects, which in turn destroys your delicate inner balance and your natural healing abilities. Hence, it is doing the opposite of curing.

A long-term acne solution should address the internal cause of acne by tackling all acne contributing factors and neutralizing the acne environment - the only, safe, natural and effective way you could ever achieve lasting acne freedom.

Hypnotherapy for Tinnitus

2012-07-18T18:14:00.000-07:00

Does hypnotherapy really work? A lot of people will ask this question because there is a great deal of mystery about it. Conventional physicians often scorn at those who practice hypnotherapy, but there are those who vouch about the positives. So whom do you believe?

Did you know that even the conventional medical science is today looking at hypnotherapy for an answer to various illnesses? Yes, that's true. Psychiatrists and psychologists are now increasingly turning to hypnotherapy to reach into the mind of the patient. They are beginning to believe that since the mind can control the body, it can be retrained to heal a condition. If nothing else, the mind can be trained to stay positive, and a positive attitude often helps in treatment.

What About Tinnitus - Can Hypnotherapy Help Here?

Hypnotherapy can actually work very well for tinnitus. This is because some of the noises a person hears can actually be no noises at all. They are just phantom sounds. It is actually the perception of hearing them that bothers the person - there's absolutely no physical source of these noises. So hypnotherapy can work by retraining the mind to ensure that the person stops hearing them. The results could be amazing really. It has been reported that as many as 50% to 76% of all tinnitus sufferers can get relief after just a few hypnotherapy sessions. In some people, the noises go away completely, and in others, the volume goes down considerably.

The Problem with Hypnotherapy Is the Myth about It

In reality, most people do not understand hypnotherapy, and how it works. And they are often misguided by the hypnosis sessions that are shown on television. Here the therapist will put a person to sleep and order him/her to do all kinds of funny things. Of course no one wants to be completely vulnerable to the whims of the therapist, and thus, hypnotherapy has never really become a main-stream cure.

What Really Happens In a Hypnosis Session?

A real life hypnosis session is much different than what is shown on television. Here the therapist will first put the person to a completely relaxed state. Once this is achieved, the therapist chooses from several cures such as regression therapy, ego state therapy and suggestive therapy. A single session might not give you the results, but take a few of them, and you can certainly notice a difference.

Hypnotherapy enhances self-consciousness, and this lets the person concentrate better. This is known as the alpha state. When the person is able to achieve this, he/she can recall the memory and retrain the brain to break the memory loop of sound that causes the tinnitus sounds.

Never underestimate the power of your brain. It has the ability to block off most of the things we see or hear everyday. If the brain couldn't do this, then we would have to evaluate or analyze everything we see and hear. But that's not what happens. This is because the brain prioritizes things and lets us get on with our daily lives.

Especially when tinnitus is not directly related to a risky physical health condition, using the correct manipulation, hypnotherapy can decrease our awareness to the sounds of tinnitus.

Moreover, hypnotherapy can significantly contribute to relaxation and distress the patient and there are some manifestations of tinnitus that are almost directly related to a prolong state of anxiety and stress or are intensified by it.

Hypnotherapy can provide some relief from tinnitus. It can reduce or temporarily make the sounds go. But remember, the sound is just a symptom. It is best that you try to cure the root causes, instead of turning to symptomatic treatments such as hypnotherapy.

The only way you could ever get rid of your tinnitus for good is by following the holistic approach to healing. By using a multidimensional treatment for tinnitus, we are tackling all tinnitus causative factors and eliminating these triggering elements from the root. This is the only path for permanent freedom from tinnitus.

This article is based on the book, "Tinnitus Miracle" by Thomas Coleman. Thomas is an author, researcher, nutritionist and health consultant who dedicated his life to creating the ultimate Tinnitus solution guaranteed to permanently reverse the root of ear ringing and naturally and dramatically improve the overall quality of your life, without the use prescription medication and without any surgical procedures.
