Misteri Batu Malin Kundang berhasil terpecahkan

London, 7 Januari 2005 - Dunia iptek geger. Para ilmuwan di Universitas Oxford pada hari ini telah berhasil memecahkan misteri batu Malin Kundang di tanah Minang.

Sekian lama batu yang menyerupai sosok tokoh Malin Kundang dalam
legenda rakyat Minang
tersebut, diyakini hanya merupakan cerita legenda belaka.

Kisah itu ternyata benar-benar pernah terjadi. Namun para ahli sekarang telah mengetahui bahwa batu tersebut diawetkan dengan formula canggih -
khas resep Indonesia- yang kehebatannya melebihi ramuan para Mummi dari
Mesir. Formula rahasia Malin Kundang terkuak setelah ditemukan sisa-sia
cairan yang terdapat pada botol, terkubur secara aman, tak
jauh dari batu Malin Kundang.

Pada label botol tersebut tertulis dengan jelas "FOR: Malin" yang
artinya " untuk Malin". Penduduk sekitarnya - dan rakyat Indonesia pada umumnya - biasa menyebut "formalin" yaitu sebuah resep rahasia nenek
moyang yang biasa digunakan untuk mengawetkan mayat. Namun karena
kenaikan harga BBM dan krisis yang berkepanjangan, formalin saat ini
lazim dipakai untuk mengawetkan tahu, ikan asin, bakso, mie basah dan
tentu saja...mayat, seperti dapat terlihat pada batu Malin Kundang yang masih tetap awet sampai sekarang di Tanah Minang.

Boleh nggak aku membeli waktu ayah 1 jam saja ?

Pada suatu hari, seorang laki-laki pulang dari bekerja larut malam. Hari
itu sangat melelahkan baginya. Sesampainya dirumah ia mendapati anaknya
yang berusia 5 tahun sudah menunggunya di depan pintu rumah.

Anak: "Ayah, boleh aku bertanya?"
Ayah: "yeah, boleh, ada apa?" jawab sang ayah.
Anak: "Ayah, berapa gaji ayah dalam satu jam?"
Ayah: "Bukan urusan mu.. ngapain kamu nanya-nanya hal begitu??" jawab sang
ayah dengan marah.
Anak: " Aku cuma pengen tahu ayah... tolonglah ayah, beritahu aku, berapa
penghasilan ayah dalam sejam?" tanya si anak dengan memelas
Ayah: "baiklah, jika kamu emang pengen tahu, gaji ayah mu ini Cuma
Rp.30.000 sejam.. puas?" jawab si ayah dengan ketus.
Anak: " Oh..." ujar si anak sambil menundukkan kepala... kemudian ia
kembali bertanya
Anak: "ayah, boleh nggak aku minta Rp.15.000?" tanya si anak dengan
ragu-ragu..

Begitu mendengar pertanyaan terakhir anaknya, kekesalan sang ayah langsung
memuncak....Pada saat itu juga sang ayah langsung berkata: "oh.. jadi kamu
nanya gaji ayah berapa Cuma mau minta uang untuk beli mainan2 ga penting
atau barang2 ga berguna lain ya? Kalau begitu sekarang kamu cepat masuk ke
kamar mu dan TIDUR... kau tau sekarang jam berapa HAH? Mikir dong... ayah
kerja keras tiap hari untuk kamu dan mama mu, tapi kamu egois sekali...
kelakuanmu sungguh memalukan" .

Dengan wajah sedih dan kepala menunduk si anak segera menuju ke kamarnya
tanpa berkata-kata.. terlihat jelas bahwa ia sangat sedih mendengarkan
perkataan ayahnya... ia segera masuk kedalam kamarnya dan menutup pintu
dengan perlahan.

Sang ayah lalu duduk di kursi dan tanpa sengaja kembali memikirkan
permintaan anaknya barusan ditengah malam buta seperti saat itu. Dalam
pikirannya ia sangat kesal dan tak habis pikir kok teganya anak yang
disayanginya itu malah menanyakan uang disaat ia baru saja pulang dan capek
setelah bekerja keras seharian.

Setelah beberapa jam berlalu, sang ayah mulai tenang, dan ia bisa berpikir
sedikit lebih jernih. Ia kemudian berpikir: "yah, namanya juga anak-anak...
atau mungkin saja anak ku memang membutuhkan uang Rp.15.000 itu untuk
membeli sesuatu yang sangat penting baginya. Lagi pula, anak ku itu tidak
terlalu sering minta uang kok... ia juga bukan anak yang suka konsumtif."
Lalu sang ayah segera menuju kekamar anaknya, lalu membuka pintu kamar
anaknya itu.

"kamu udah tidur sayang?" tanya sang ayah.
"belum ayah", jawab anaknya dengan suara agak terbata-bata.
"Ayah udah berpikir, mungkin tadi ayah terlalu keras" kata sang ayah.
"Hari ini sangat melelahkan buat ayah, ayah minta maaf telah melampiaskan
kekesalan ayah padamu. Ini, Rp.15.000 yang kamu minta tadi" kata sang ayah
dengan nada lembut.
Si anak seketika itu juga langsung berdiri dan tersenyum. "OH... terima
kasih ayah... " ujar anaknya dengan riang.

Kemudian, ia merogoh kebawah bantalnya dan mengeluarkan setumpuk uang
kertas yang sudah lusuh. Si anak kemudian mulai menyusun dan merapikan uang
yang dimilikinya itu diatas kasur.

Ketika sang ayah melihat ternyata anaknya sudah punay uang dalam jumlah
yang cukup banyak, ia kembali marah dan kesal.
"Untuk apa kamu minta uang lagi kalau kamu udah punya uang sebanyak itu?"
tanya sang ayah dengan nada tinggi.

"Soalnya sebelum ayah kasih, uangnya nggak cukup ayah..." jawab sang anak.
"Tapi sekarang aku udah punya uang yang cukup", kata si anak kemudian.
"Ayah, sekarang aku sudah punya Rp.30.000.. boleh nggak aku membeli waktu
ayah satu jam saja…?" tanya anaknya dengan nada sungguh-sungguh dan polos..
"Aku mau makan malam bareng sama ayah dan mama... besok ayah pulang cepat
ya…" ujar si anak dengan sungguh-sungguh… matanya menatap polos pada sang
ayah yang diam terpaku dihadapannya.

Mendengar perkataan anaknya, sang ayah langsung terenyuh dan menangis.. ia
lalu segera merangkul anak yang disayanginya itu sambil menangis dan minta
maaf pada sang anak..

"Maafkan ayah sayang..." ujar sang ayah.
"Ayah telah khilaf, selama ini ayah lupa untuk apa ayah bekerja
keras...maafkan ayah anakku..." kata sang ayah ditengah suara tangisnya. Si
anak hanya diam membisu dalam dekapan sang ayah...

Cerita ini hanyalah untuk mengingatkan kita semua yang selalu bekerja keras
dalam hidup ini. Janganlah kita membiarkan waktu berlalu begitu saja tanpa
kita sempat menikmati waktu yang sangat berharga tersebut bersama
orang-orang yang sangat kita sayangi dan sangat berarti dalam hidup kita.

Ingatlah untuk selalu berusaha menyisihkan waktu seharga Rp.30.000 untuk
orang-orang yang Anda cintai dan sayangi.
Jika kita meninggal besok, perusahaan tempat kita bekerja dapat dengan
mudah mengganti orang yang menempati posisi kita hanya dalam hitungan
hari..
Tapi, keluarga dan orang dekat tercinta yang kita tinggalkan akan merasakan
kehilangan itu sepanjang hidupnya... Bila kita memikirkannya, kenapa kita
masih saja mencurahkan seluruh hidup kita hanya untuk bekerja???

Semoga menjadi bahan renungan buat kita..

Salam Damai,

Indonesia tanah air kita semua, tanah air yang kita cintai.
Sudah satu dasawarsa atau mungkin sudah lebih lama dari itu, bangsa ini sakit, berbaring tak berdaya. Kedaulatannya di injak - injak bangsa lain. Semua aset sebagian besar jadi milik asing, kita seperti tamu di negeri sendiri. Dan seakan kita tidak mampu melawan malah mungkin menikmatinya ? Dan orang - orang penghianat bangsa mulai bekerja sama dengan para agresor itu !!! untuk membuat rakyat Indonesia makin menderita

Negara tetangga yang bernama Malaysiapun sudah berani memprovokasi kedaulatan Indonesia. Dan sepertinya kita tidak mampu melakukan sesuatu yang berarti, kita diserang tapi tidak pernah membalas.
Masih bisakah Indonesia bangkit dari keterpurukan ini ?

Hatiku berkata "yakinlah Indonesia akan bangkit !!!!"
Bangsa Indonesia sedang berproses menuju kemenangan yang sejati.
Kemenangan yang dibangun dari semangat para pemuda - pemudanya.
Semangat tidak pernah menyerah, semangat pantang mundur seperti yang ditunjukkan pahlawan - pahlawan bangsa. Dan kita kembali menjadi Bangsa Besar seperti yang dilontarkan Bung Karno.

Based on True Story..

Dilihat dari usianya beliau sudah tidak muda lagi, usia yg sudah senja
bahkan sudah mendekati malam,pak Suyatno 58 tahun kesehariannya diisi
dengan merawat istrinya yang sakit istrinya juga sudah tua. mereka menikah
sudah lebih 32 tahun

Mereka dikarunia 4 orang anak disinilah awal cobaan menerpa,setelah
istrinya melahirkan anak ke empat tiba2 kakinya lumpuh dan tidak bisa
digerakkan itu terjadi selama 2 tahun, menginjak tahun ke tiga seluruh
tubuhnya menjadi lemah bahkan terasa tidak bertulang lidahnyapun sudah
tidak bisa digerakkan lagi.

Setiap hari pak suyatno memandikan, membersihkan kotoran, menyuapi, dan
mengangkat istrinya keatas tempat tidur. Sebelum berangkat kerja dia
letakkan istrinya didepan TV supaya istrinya tidak merasa kesepian.

Walau istrinya tidak dapat bicara tapi dia selalu melihat istrinya
tersenyum, untunglah tempat usaha pak suyatno tidak begitu jauh dari
rumahnya sehingga siang hari dia pulang untuk menyuapi istrinya makan
siang. sorenya dia pulang memandikan istrinya, mengganti pakaian dan
selepas maghrib dia temani istrinya nonton televisi sambil menceritakan
apa2 saja yg dia alami seharian.

Walaupun istrinya hanya bisa memandang tapi tidak bisa menanggapi, pak
suyatno sudah cukup senang bahkan dia selalu menggoda istrinya setiap
berangkat tidur.

Rutinitas ini dilakukan pak suyatno lebih kurang 25 tahun, dengan sabar dia
merawat istrinya bahkan sambil membesarkan ke empat buah hati mereka,
sekarang anak2 mereka sudah dewasa tinggal si bungsu yg masih kuliah.

Pada suatu hari ke empat anak suyatno berkumpul dirumah orang tua mereka
sambil menjenguk ibunya. Karena setelah anak mereka menikah sudah tinggal
dengan keluarga masing2 dan pak suyatno memutuskan ibu mereka Dia yg
merawat, yang dia inginkan hanya satu semua anaknya berhasil.

Dengan kalimat yg cukup hati2 anak yg sulung berkata " Pak kami ingin
sekali merawat ibu, semenjak kami kecil melihat bapak merawat ibu tidak ada
sedikitpun keluhan keluar dari bibir bapak.bahkan bapak tidak ijinkan kami
menjaga ibu" .

dengan air mata berlinang anak itu melanjutkan kata2nya "sudah yg keempat
kalinya kami mengijinkan bapak menikah lagi ,kami rasa ibupun akan
mengijinkannya, kapan bapak menikmati masa tua bapak dengan berkorban
seperti ini kami sudah tidak tega melihat bapak,kami janji kami akan
merawat ibu bergantian".

Pak suyatno menjawab hal yg sama sekali tidak diduga anak2 mereka." Anak2ku
Jikalau hidup didunia ini hanya untuk nafsu Mungkin bapak akan menikah,
tapi ketahuilah dengan adanya ibu kalian disampingku itu sudah lebih dari
cukup, dia telah Melahirkan kalian".. sejenak kerongkongannya tersekat,
kalian yg selalu kurindukan hadir didunia ini dengan penuh cinta yg tidak
satupun dapat menghargai dengan apapun. coba kalian tanya ibumu apakah dia
menginginkan keadaanya seperti Ini. kalian menginginkan bapak bahagia,
apakah bathin bapak bisa bahagia meninggalkan ibumu dengan keadaanya
sekarang". kalian menginginkan bapak yg masih diberi Allah kesehatan
dirawat oleh orang lain bagaimana dengan ibumu yg masih sakit. Sejenak
meledaklah tangis anak2 pak suyatno merekapun melihat butiran2 kecil jatuh
dipelupuk mata ibu suyatno..dengan pilu ditatapnya mata suami yg sangat
dicintainya itu..

Sampailah akhirnya pak suyatno diundang oleh salah satu stasiun TV swasta
untuk menjadi nara sumber diacara islami Selepas shubuh dan merekapun
mengajukan pertanyaan kepada pak suyatno kenapa mampu bertahan selama 25
tahun merawat Istrinya yg sudah tidak bisa apa2..disaat itulah meledak
tangis beliau dengan tamu yg hadir di studio kebanyakan kaum perempuanpun
tidak sanggup menahan haru disitulah pak suyatno bercerita".

Jika manusia didunia ini mengagungkan sebuah cinta tapi dia tidak mencintai
karena Allah semuanya akan luntur. Saya memilih istri saya menjadi
pendamping hidup saya, dan sewaktu dia sehat diapun dengan sabar merawat
saya, mencintai saya dengan hati dan bathinnya bukan dengan mata, dan dia
memberi saya 4 orang anak yg lucu2..

Sekarang dia sakit berkorban untuk saya karena Allah..dan itu merupakan
ujian bagi saya, sehatpun belum tentu saya mencari penggantinya apalagi dia
sakit,,,setiap malam saya bersujud dan menangis dan saya dapat bercerita
kepada Allah

Diatas sajadah..dan saya yakin hanya kepada Allah saya percaya untuk
menyimpan dan mendengar rahasia saya

Duarr! Ponsel Siswa SD di Bandung Meledak

Bandung - Usai asyik main game, ponsel Nokia N2115i milik Naufal (9 tahun), siswa kelas IV SD Karang Pawulang Bandung, Jalan Karawitan, mengeluarkan asap dan duaarrr...meledak.

Yusuf Wahyudin, salah satu guru SD Karang Pawulang menuturkan, sekitar pukul 07.15 WIB, Rabu (20/2/2008) sambil menunggu jam pelajaran olahraga, Naufal duduk di teras halaman sekolah bersama temannya Aldi.

Naufal asyik bermain game. Beberapa saat kemudian usai bermain game, ia meletakkan ponsel tersebut di sampingnya. Tiba-tiba keluar asap dari ponsel tersebut. Melihat hal itu, Aldi keheranan dan mengambilnya.

Tak dinyana, baru saja dipegang Aldi tiba-tiba ponsel tipe N2115i itu langsung meledak. "Suaranya hingga terdengar ke ruang guru yang jarakanya 20 meter," ujar Yusuf.

Akibat ledakan itu, serpihan casing ponsel mengenai paha kanan Naufal hingga berdarah. Sementara tangan Aldi terlihat gosong. "Meski gosong tapi tidak terluka parah," ujar Yusuf.

Kedua bocah naas itu kemudian diobati dan langsung dipulangkan ke rumahnya masing-masing.

Ngeri juga yah baca berita kaya gitu... entah apa yang terjadi kalo ponsel itu ditaro di kantong celana ~ entah kiri ato kanan ~ bahaya banget ama masa depan, bener gak?
BTW, gue dulu punya hp frensip (samsung), batre ori bawaan pabrik, ternyata batrenya menggelembung (bagian tengahnya ngegembung gitu). Umurnya juga cuman setengah hari meskipun udah dicharge full... Untungnya biar rusak juga batre nya ga meledak keq anak SD itu...

After several months passing by, now it's the time to decide. I have make up my mind... I want to make this site to be my personal blog (not focused on internet marketing as it used to be).
I also want to post in Bahasa, but if there are demands on my English post, I will take it into consideration.

nb. I personally apologize to you for not having my internet bootcamp review updated. Now, i have so many things to do, and I don't really think I would do the review right now...
My Internet Marketing blog will be released on my other site (I will inform it to you later).

Seseorang membeli USB ini di China dengan harga murah. Ia seharusnya dapat menyimpan data sebesar beberapa gigabyte. Namun setelah ia mencobanya, USB ini tampaknya tidak berfungsi. Jadi ia memutuskan untuk membukanya dan inilah yang ia lihat.

Jadi jika anda ingin membeli USB di China, pastikan anda mencobanya terlebih dahulu, dan pastikan Anda membeli di tempat yang terjamin mutunya.

My Experience Travelling Bandung Jakarta

I have never been to Jakarta on my own before, and on 27 October 2007, that’s the first time I go there on my own. Yup, that’s for the Internet marketing Bootcamp. I want to share my travelling experience with you all. There are several things that I’m really ‘blank’. Ilive in Bandung. I don’t know Jakarta streets, I don’t know how to get to the place, I really afraid to get lost in Jakarta. It is a very vast city, and you can get lost if you don’t know exactly where to go. And then I decide to search. Yup, ask uncle google, that’s how my story went smoother; but not as smooth as I thought ^^ though.

First I considered how I could get to Jakarta. I could go by car, by train or by plane, and I choose to travel by car. Why? Because it offers the best deal, price – travel time. If you go by plane, that would cost you more than 100k Rp for 45 min flights. If you go by train, it would cost you 75k Rp (Argo Gede) for 3 hr travel time. But If you go by car, it will only cost you 60k for 2 hr travel time. Well, if you kinda’ short of money, I recommend you using the travel car. Now, the question change. Which travel car should I use. There are several travel car in Bandung, i.e. Cipaganti, X-trans, City Trans, Transporter, Baraya, Transline and I guess there are lots more. Baraya offers the cheapest price. You should only pay 35k, but I didn’t choose this as it didn’t guarantee ‘1 person go’ and their earliest time is at 6am. I want to go to Jakarta by 5am. Then I chose Cipaganti. Their max seat is 10 – compare to X-trans, 11 for the same 60k price. I didn’t research on others travel car because I really don’t have time to do this. As soon as I figured Cipaganti is better, I chose it. Transporter actually offer the best comfort. Their max passengers are only 6, but I figured this out after I went back to Bandung. Oh, I forgot, They use almost the same type of car, Pregio, Travello or others similar car (or I should say minibus).

At Jakarta, as travel car is a shuttle service a.k.a. point to point, I choose Cikini as my drop point as they told me Cikini is closer to Borobudur Hotel (my Bootcamp place), and I could go to Borobudur Hotel by taxi. BAM! Suddenly several bad stories about Jakarta’s taxi appeared. If you are newbies and don’t really know Jakarta, and your appearance is kinda’ wealthy, the taxi driver will take you round and round the city until the argo (taxi-meter) reach they considered price. And also there are several stories about robbery in taxi. The taxi driver will have their friends join the taxi and they will take you to a quiet place and they will rob you. And of course there are other story about rape, and so on. Of course these stories really frightened me. But who am I? I remember that I have my GOD; there are nothing could scared me because HE always be with me. That is what He promised in Matthew 28:20.

And guess what… the story became easy. I really have a smooth travel. I take a taxi in the opposite of Cipaganti pool at Cikini, and it only cost me 10k to reach Borobudur Hotel. Some said that only Blue Bird is the most trustworthy taxi company, but I don’t believe them. I chose any taxi coming across, and I really had a save journey. The taxi driver didn’t take the round way, (Well I kinda’ knew it because I had searched on Jakarta Street Map before, and it only took 10 min to reach Borobudur Hotel) and he is really really friendly. I talked a lot with him, how long he have been a taxi driver, where he lived and so on. And the same thing went on while I went back to Bandung. I chose any taxi, went to Cikini, and go back to Bandung. Really smooth isn’t it? Just believe in GOD and Thy will be with you any time, any where. I was really afraid at first but as soon as I remember His promise, He comfort me. Thanks GOD! Can’t wait to have another travelling with Him. ^^ Pray for my success in this Internet Business, ok? I hope I can travel around the world then. Success for US!

Global Internet Summit 9 - 11 November 2007 Review

On 9 to 11 November, 2007 there was Global Internet Summit held on Plaza BBD (Jl. Imam Bonjol 61 Jakarta, near Bunderan HI). I was one of the participant. I didn’t attend the 9^th and 11^th. I only take the 10^th November seminar. Well, actually I wanted to join all the event but I can’t. I already had the research on the hotel, but my health didn’t allow me to join all the event. I caught a really bad flu at 10^th, I didn’t really know why, maybe because of my low fitness at that time and the really cold hall for the seminar. So I can only share you about what I get from the 10^th seminar.

There were 4 speakers at 10^th. Adam Davies – the PPC kid, Terence Tan, Shaune Clarke – the Interviewer guru, and Jaz Lai – the designer. Most of them talked about Traffic generation. Yup, that’s the main thing we should worked on to generate income from the internet. Terence talked about several technique to generate traffic, i.e. Article Marketing, Traffic Recycling, Blogging, Forums, Error pages Optimizing, Blog Comments, Directory Submission and Classified sites. Almost all of them are free traffic generation. No TRAFFIC = No SALES. Adam focused on PPC, showing us 3 of 8 his PPC technique. Those are Feature and Benefit, Ask a question, and Story Teller technique. Shaune taught us to write a Killer Sales Copy (Copywriting) and the power of interview to generate ideas, products, traffic, and guru’s testimonial for us. The last speaker, Jaz Lai showed us how to build high quality list and LAZY method to generate traffic. From those 4 speakers, I’ve mentioned, I really like Jaz Lai. He is kinda’ similar to me, want to generate huge internet income with a LAZY method. LAZY means, don’t have to blogging every time, go to forum every time, update site every time, and other routine activity. I also like Shaune as he showed me a new idea. Yeah, I think interview is a new idea, but I don’t really feel that I’m for this technique.

As a conclusion, I don’t regret to participate in the Global Internet Summit. I gained a lot of information. What I regret is that I cannot join all of the event. Well, maybe next year ok? I will summarize each speakers in my next blog. So, ‘feed’ my blog ^^

Fauzi Bowo's Policy against Bicycle Roadway in Jakarta

Recently, I read the newspaper and the headline grabbed my attention. It was ‘Bike to Work’ campaign and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of Indonesia, with his wife, some of minister along with Fauzi Bowo; Jakarta’s latest chosen governor were promoting it. Jakarta’s streets lately has become more and more crowded, from the small street to the large road, even the highway; almost all of them jam on high traffic time, that is while people go to work and go back from work. We know that a large number of the people working in Jakarta don’t stay at that city. They stay at satellite cities; Depok, Bogor, Bekasi, Tangerang, and other surrounding ones. That’s the reason why the government promoted the ‘Bike to Work’ campaign. That’s all good right? Just imagine the loss we suffer from the traffic jam. They said that more than 1bil. Rp is wasted every hour. What a huge number! Pollutants, health and psychological aspect is also affected. So bike to work campaign is all for good right?

I’m for the campaign but I have some question to ask. How can people go to work by bike as their house is located outside of Jakarta. Should they cycle their bike for 20-30 km? Insane! I think the government doesn’t well prepared for their campaign. It’s better if they provide several massive parking lots in Jakarta’s gateway. So outsiders can park their car, then cycle their bike. Or if the location is too far, there are convenient and clean public transportation to facilitate them so they can stop at the bicycle parking lot and cycle to their office. But for this idea, it really needs a scattered strategic areas of bicycle parking lot, massive parking lots in Jakarta gateway and real convenient public transportation. That means it really needs a HUGE amount of money.

I guess the ‘Bike to Work’ idea is for those who live in Jakarta. For those whose house are located less or equal to 5km from their office. Fauzi Bowo said that he won’t build any bicycle roadway in Jakarta if the bicycle quantity below 1mil. Yet, today there are only 3k cyclers around the city. This is what I’m ridicule at. I think if he wants people to go to work by bike, he should provide the facilities first (such as bicycle roadway) then he could expect an increasing number of people cycle to work. Just wait and see what is he going to do then.

Jakarta Flood November 2007

Jakarta is the capitol city of Indonesia. It is the most populated city yet the place where the most money rolling. Last year, Jakarta drowned and the economy stuck for almost a week. And now the indication of such thing will occur again is increasing. Last week, there were several place in Jakarta flooded for almost 1 meter high. And since it is yet the peak of raining season, we can imagine what will happen if it is the peak of raining season.

I wonder what the government did for the recent months. Didn’t they do something to avoid this? Yesterday, I heard the news that only 5 of 12 water pump controlling the flood canal were working. The others had been broken down and they still trying to fix it. This is what I didn’t like. They keep TRYing to avoid the flood. When it is almost the time to raining season, they begin to try to do something to eliminate the effect. But I guess that’s not what we want right? We all want the government DO the right thing. Sometimes we hear that they are willing to do something. But what’s the result? I guess there are too much talking and poor action. So stop TRYing and start DOing. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are the reason why the flood keep coming. We always blame the government of poor precautious action. But who realize that all of us should be responsible for the flood. When were the last time we throw the garbage through our own car side window? When were the last time people throwing garbage to the river? To make Indonesia better, all of Indonesian people should be involved. Let’s do something good for our country. We LOVE Indonesia. Be blessed Indonesia!

Setup Wordpress Blog in Your Own Computer

Yesterday, I spent several hours to setup wordpress blog. Wordpress is installed really easy. Next, I will guide you to wordpress setup, but first let me give you why I wanna try wordpress. I have try blogger and it is not easily customized (or I don't know how :D) I wanna have several plugins but it can only be installed via 'add page element' (html thing) and I found it uneasy. Of course as a blogger newbie I wanna try each element one by one and I for that I need internet connection. Wordpress win in this area; I can setup wordpress blog in my own computer and try several plugins without internet connection (My internet connection is not fast ~ 20 to 35 kbps for real ~ even they said that it is a broadband network) and after you find your wordpress blog nice you can upload it to your website easily. Wow that's what I said convinience.

These are steps for Wordpress setup in your own computer :

1. You will need Xampp as your http server. Download Xampp here. (choose the windows installer)
2. Install Xampp to your own desired folder and make sure you enable apache and mysql as services.
3. Now your Xampp is running.
4. Download wordpress setup installer here.
5. Extract it to \htdocs\
6. Now open your browser and type localhost for the address.
7. Open the phpMyAdmin tab in the Tools tab on the left.
8. On the Create new database field, type Wordpress (or your desired database name) and choose the utf8_unicode_ci as your collation, and click create.
9. Open wp-config-sample.php on \htdocs\wordpress\ (you can open it with notepad)
10. Change 'putyourdbnamehere' with 'your desired database name' (the one you create on phpMyAdmin), 'usernamehere' with 'root' , and 'yourpasswordhere' with 'your desired database password'.
11. Save wp-config-sample.php as wp-config.php
12. Open your browser again and type http://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
13. Fill the field with your desired blog thing and viola, Wordpress is installed on your own computer.
14. You can download wordpress plugin here.

Warcraft III, Early Human Strategy

Warcraft III is one of my favourite games. I use to play it with my brother. (Yeah I have a brother. I will talk about him here.) Warcraft III is better played with friends. If you are alone at home, you can join the Battle.net and play with or against Warcraft III players around the world. Interesting isn't it?

There are 4 races you can choose. Human, Orc, Night Elf and Undead. The story of Warcraft III can be found here. I personally choose human. I can't play the other races, even they are pretty similar. I think you will find more resources if you search on google ^^; (yeah, i can't tell you much because i'm not that competent in Warcraft III)

Here I will tell you my strategy in Warcraft III. As a human, I have several advantages. Peasants can be a militia and they can help you creeping. Peasants are cheap. They only cost you 75 gold and use 1 food. Compare to the footman (that is cost 135 gold and use 2 food), they have similar attack damage, but the most difference is that peasant has an ultra low hp, 225, compare to footman 425. In the beginning of the game I order 4 peasants to gold mine, 1 to build barrack and shift build the farm and shift to harvest lumber (Shift is the order sequence) In the very early game, you won't need any hero. The game will be determined by who has the more number. Next I will build 3 peasants. The first peasant come out build the farm and shift build to altar and shift to harvest lumber. The second peasant come out rally to the gold mine. The third peasant come out harvest lumber, and build another peasant, rally to harvest lumber). After the barrack completed, build footman until it reach 4. After the altar complete, train your hero (I choose archmage as it can summon water elemental to help you creep) You will upgrade your town hall to keep as soon as your resources allowed. Now choose 1 peasant to build another farm and shift build to blacksmith. After the farm finished, create 2 more peasants and rally to harvest lumber. Choose one of them to build another farm. You will already have your footman and hero creeping at this time. Create 3 more footman and rally it to your hero. Train another hero.

I think this early human strategy is completed. After this step, you will build your army with your own desired. You'd better know what your enemy is playing and build the counter for them. That's why continuous spying is really important. You can train a peasant, change to militia and send them spying. Don't forget to expand as you will need more resources.

Want to be successful online? Just do it! You can read theories on how to make HUGE money online but if you never practice, it’s a waste of your time.

2. Do CORRECTLY
Sometimes it is good to do something right, but it is far better if you do something correctly. Your good website won’t produce you any money if you don’t do it correctly.

3. Cause – Effect
For everything you do, there will be effects.

4. Effect – Cause
For everything happens, there must be causes. You should KNOW WHY something happens.

5. Give REASON
Your lead won’t buy if you don’t give them REASON.

6. Demand – Competition
Whether there are demands, there are competition.

7. BIG Demand – BIG Competition
If you are a beginner, avoid big competition. Compete in small niches first to create your confidence.

8. FOCUS
You will find a lots and lots of technique in making money online but stay focus on your method.

There are 2 basic laws that should be met to thrive in the huge and growing internet marketing. That is value creation and differentiation. Value creation is your reason given to your leads and makes them willing to buy your products. Some people tend to sell something without even thinking about the benefit of their products to their customers. They want a huge profit but they don’t develop the value of their products. That’s one reason why not many internet marketer survive. Value creation is all about helping people. Help people to make money, save money, save time and solve problem. Your product MUST meet these people needs and hopefully you will gain more ^^

Differentiate your product than others is one thing. You will meet competition when there are demands and it can’t be avoided. If we say that our product is the best, compare to whom? Everything is RELATIVE. So make your product really different than the others. If you don’t have your own product, you can offer your leads some more benefits such as bonuses, services, guarantees and so on. Hopefully you can thrive in this internet marketing business. First, I learn about the basic of marketing. Before I cover the marketing itself, the first thing that should be considered strongly is the MINDSET. Do we have a successful mindset or not. LOSERS do LOSE because they never try because they are afraid to try. There is NO FAILURE in this business every “FAILURE” is a “SUCCESS” in experiencing a failure so we will not fall into the same hole anymore. You can if you think you can. (WE CAN! Put this in your mind!) If those other normal people can gain $1million dollar a year, why can’t I! I am a normal person as well and if he can, I CAN!

We all have experiences as consumers. And now it’s our exact time to use our experiences to become a marketer. The basic point of a marketer is to think like the consumer. Think like the one who would like to buy your product or be diverted to your affiliate link. That’s it. Internet marketing is about creating an IRESSISTABLE OFFER; that means give what consumer wants. It's easy isn't it? But the practice is not as easy as what it looks you know. That's why I suggest you to join the Bootcamp, cause what I told you just now is a small bit of the program and you can have several mentors to help you. I'm a typical Indonesian guy; that's why my mom give me the name Ade - FYI it is an ordinary name of Sundanese people. But I'm actually not a real Sundanese guy. I have a Chinese Family name that is Tan. My mom give me the name because at that time, Ade Candra (with Christian as a double badminton player) is very popular ~ he is also a Chinese guy but still I don't know why his parents gave the name Ade. Kurnia a.k.a karunia is blessing. So Ade Kurnia is Ade who is blessed. (well maybe I'm exaggerating, but really, I find myself be blessed a lot.) I still have my parents, house, and internet connection. (you can laugh now :p)

Live from Internet Marketing Bootcamp Jakarta 27-28 October 2007

Today I create my first blog on the internet. Yup, this is the one. I'm not really fluent in English so you might find several grammatical error, but I hope you still understand what I'm saying . oops... not saying but typing... (well I'm not sure if it's correct or not. Are we saying what we type as 'what we say'? Or just type it as 'what we type'?) Wait, I'm going off topic now... let's go back....

Internet is the 'world joiner'. It's my word so I think you won't find it elsewhere. The trend that people would buy something online is getting up and up and up. I am just willing to get a tiny little chunks of this 'pie'. That's why I want to learn the internet marketing. I just want to create money online. I join this bootcamp through the ads on my local newspaper. It's a nice ads, preview of Internet Marketing Bootcamp that would be held on 27-28 October 2007. Then I join the preview seminar and here I am today. Today is the second day of the Internet Marketing Bootcamp. I will put my review of this bootcamp later on. (I have lessons to catch up. As I write this blog, the speaker ~ Jeffrey Tang has already finish the amazon setup tutorial and the ftp exercise.)
