Earlier I wrote about creating and growing your (automated) twitter account. Now it's time to look into ways to make sure you get a decent amount of clicks on the links you are sharing!

Sounds obvious, but it's not that easy to do.
Fortunately there are 2 great free tools that can help you with tweeting at the right time to increase your clicks from Twitter!

1.) First of all, head over to Tweriod. This service will analyze your best twitter times by looking at both your, and your followers activities over time.

2.) Head over to Buffer (another Free service) and use the insights you gained from the Tweriod report to time your tweets by setting the times when Buffer needs to send out your tweets. (You can specify multiple times per day to let Buffer sent out tweets)

Adfly; scam or legit?

"Is Adfly a scam? or is it legit?" is probably one of the most asked questions about Adfly. Fortunatly this question has a very simple and clear answer: Adfly is legit and by no means is Adfly a scam!
Adfly has been paying it's members on a monthly basis via Alertpay and Paypal for over 2 years now. (if you meet the payout limit of 5$ of course.. ) A good sign and proof of Adfly being legit and no scam, is the fact that they have a (very) active forum, where people can post their Adfly payment proofs and also their complaints. Complaints (on the forum) are always handled and solved quickly by the Adfly admin(s).

Earn extra while sharing your images

I see a lot of people sharing images with ImageShack and then link to the images through adf.ly to earn some money. This is done a lot with payment proofs.
If you are doing this as well, you are leaving money on the table!

Instead of sharing your images through Imageshack, you can use ImageTwist and earn up to $2.50/1000 views extra!
So head over to ImageTwist and start sharing your images! (keep shortening the links using adf.ly :) )

Don't use bit.ly for your adf.ly links!
A lot of people are using other url shorteners to 'mask' the adf.ly link when they use them on a forum for example or they use a twitter app that automatically shortens links through bit.ly, including the adf.ly link.
However, when you click the bit.ly link it will show you a screen stating that this could be a malicious link, asking you if you want to continue and take the risk. (see image below) NOT GOOD!
Obviously a lot of people won't click through so better avoid bit.ly when using adf.ly links!

If you have no need for a short URL and you just want to make money from your blog or website, here is the quickest and simplest possible way to earn with adf.ly:

The link will have an interstitial ad per default. If you want to use the less obtrusive banner, you can simply add /banner/ right before the link:
