Hi,

I am back with my review of a packed convenience food. The product is the most popular middle eastern dip hummus, packed and sold in convenience stores.

In one word, my verdict: not good.

Frankly speaking, I am more of a DIY kind of a person, so I always prefer making this dip myself.

But at times when my mixer grinder is not working properly, I buy this product.

Please have a look at the product pictures.

alfez-houmous

alfez houmous

I bought this 160g of dip jar for Rs. 225. I like the hummus dip, but not really in this packed form by Alfez.

The taste is very strong in pungency, and the texture is very fine. I am kind of more used to the coarse little acidic taste of the natural, fresh home made hummus.

Also talking in terms of the economics, this dip turns out way expensive. For that much amount I could make buckets worth of hummus dip at home.

I am definitely not in for a re-purchase....

It was just yesterday that I went to see this Bollywood flick called Shootout at Wadala, popularly known as SAW.

In one word, my verdict: utterly pathetic.

Now I go ahead with defining the utterly pathetic experience.

First things first, I had seen the one in the series few years back, precisely the Shootout at Lokhandwala. And to be frank, I like that one a lot now.....LOL

I ended up watching the sequel to that last encounter series only because I did not find any other movie worthwhile to be watched this week.

I must say I am quite allergic to Johnny Abraham in general, hence I went with a predetermined dislike for the movie. Also nothing in the movie did much to lessen my dislike for it, and all the other elements together with the Johnny added to my reasons for the dislike for the movie.

Sunny-Leone-in-Shoot-out-at-Lokhandwala

I can go on and on with my disgust and frustrations regarding the movie, but here I am only enlisting a few pointers, which summarize my interpretation of the movie. Go ahead and beware:

1. The movie is highly fictionalized attempt at presenting the first known organized encounter done by police in Mumbai of a don named Manya Surve.
2. Ekta Kapoor and team have tried a vain attempt in presenting dons as innocent and society created culprits.
3. The point of heavy fiction creation gets affirmed when you get to see Sunny Leonne as the girl friend of Mr. Manoj Bajpai's character...Ahem Ahem
4. There is action and lots of lots of it, but more than that there are tons of items and their respective item numbers with a little less action sequences in between them.
5. All through the movie I was scared as to what if.....just what if there was just one more item number by Kangana Ranaut too....You never know that could have also arrived at any moment apart from her steamy scenes with Johnny.
6. Johhny baby thought that he too could remove his shirt by the climax of the movie and could turn out to be a competitor to one of the Khans who is famous for his top-less behaviors. Alas...
7. No matter if it is Sanjay Dutt/Vivek Oberoi or any other actor in the pivotal role in a Balaji film, only and only chota Jitender will play the No. 1 supporting role in it.
8. The destruction and damages done by the dons to a city/nation can be justified if that particular don scored distinction in their graduation...Really..
9. When the hero don brutally kills an unarmed man along with his 6 accomplices, it is his macho attitude, but when the cops smartly carry out encounters of the dons, it is unfair.
10. And lastly, John Abraham can act with his underpants on!!!

Stay home and enjoy the Leonne item number....

P. S: I will not watch this one even if all the channels on television will run it 24x7, 365 days of the year
