I’m really excited to be speaking at the Big Thinkers Conference this fall, where I’ll be teaching one of my favorite sessions: How to Present Like a Pro.

A few years ago, I taught this class at a conference in Los Angeles, and one of the Big Thinkers organizers happened to be in the audience. They told me afterward it was one of the most useful sessions they’d attended, and now they’ve invited me to bring it to their professional development event at Disney Springs.

This isn’t a session about creating flashy slides or memorizing a script. It’s about connecting with your audience, keeping people engaged, and delivering presentations with more confidence and less stress. Whether you’re speaking to a room full of people, leading a workshop, teaching a class, or giving presentations at work, I’ll be sharing the practical techniques I’ve learned from spending decades on stage.

I recorded the short video below to give you a preview of what I’ll be covering and why I think this session is different from most presentation training.

If you’re planning to attend the Big Thinkers Conference, I hope you’ll join me. I’d love to see you there.

You can learn more about the conference here.

Your iPhone is a pretty incredible camera. The trick is learning to treat it like one.

In this new class, Erik Kuna shows how to approach your iPhone the same way you would a traditional mirrorless camera, taking control of the decisions that go into creating the photograph instead of simply letting the phone figure everything out.

You’ll learn how to lock focus and exposure, choose the right lens instead of pinching to zoom, understand when ProRAW is worth the extra file size, and take control of Night mode, macro, and long exposures. Erik also shares useful shortcuts and walks through a straightforward editing workflow from Apple Photos to Lightroom Mobile.

If you already carry your iPhone everywhere, this class will help you get a whole lot more from the camera that’s always with you.

Watch it here!

You can purchase this class for just $39, or subscribe to KelbyOne and get access to this course plus our entire library for only $19.99 a month. Try it risk-free with our 100% money-back guarantee.

I’m really excited about this one, folks. Photoshop World is coming up September 14–17, and registration is officially open!

This year’s conference is sponsored by Adobe, and we’ve got four days of Photoshop, Lightroom, photography, and just about everything else we creative types love, with more than 45 sessions taught by an absolutely fantastic group of instructors.

And that instructor lineup is one of the things I’m most excited about. These are people who actually do this stuff for a living. They’re photographers, retouchers, designers, and creatives who use these tools every day, and they’re coming to share the techniques, shortcuts, workflows, and ideas they really use. That’s always been what Photoshop World is about.

But here’s the thing: Photoshop World has never just been about sitting through classes.

We’ve got our Pre-Conference Meet-Up so everybody can hang out and meet each other before things really get rolling, our opening Keynote presented by Adobe, the PSW Film Fest, An Evening With…, the Guru Awards, and a brand-new event I think is going to be an absolute blast: Late Night with Larry Becker & Guests. It’s basically our own live late-night talk show with some of your favorite instructors, and knowing Larry, I have a feeling things could get interesting.

We’re online again this year, but one of the things I really love about the online conference is how connected everybody stays. The chat windows are open all day, so people are asking questions, talking with the instructors, chatting with our team, meeting other attendees, and generally hanging out together throughout the whole event. Our sponsors jump in, too, with bonus sessions, meetings, and chances to get your questions answered.

Plus, you don’t have to worry about trying to see everything in four days because you get the replays for a full year. Watch what you can live, then go back and catch everything else later (and there will definitely be more you want to watch).

Right now, you can save $200 with our Early Bird pricing and register for just $299, but that price ends August 14 at 11:59 PM EDT.

I really hope you’ll come spend those four days with us. We’ve got a great group of instructors, a packed schedule, lots of fun stuff planned, and I can’t wait to see everybody there.

It’s going to be a good one. You can get all the details and register here.

This week on The Grid, Scott Kelby takes a fresh batch of viewer-submitted photos and walks through exactly how he’d edit each one using Lightroom, Camera Raw, and Photoshop. Rather than relying on one-click fixes, he explains the thought process behind every adjustment—from deciding where to crop to knowing which edits will have the biggest impact.

The images span a variety of genres, including sports, landscapes, architecture, wildlife, and travel photography, giving Scott the opportunity to demonstrate techniques that apply to almost any workflow.

Some of the highlights include using Adaptive Color to quickly improve an image, refining white balance, correcting perspective, sharpening selectively, masking specific areas, and deciding when it’s worth creating the look of a shallow depth of field. Scott also shares practical advice on when AI-powered tools can save time—and when a more traditional approach still produces the best result.

If you’re looking to become faster and more confident in Lightroom, this episode is full of practical editing techniques you can start using today. Watch the replay below.

You don’t need a full crew to run a professional portrait shoot.

In her latest class, Gilmar Smith shares how she plans, packs, lights, shoots, and delivers portrait sessions entirely on her own.

Gilmar walks through the pre-production questions that help set expectations before the shoot, along with the packing and gear systems she relies on to stay organized when there’s no assistant around to help. You’ll also see how she approaches lighting, works efficiently on set, and creates a great experience for the people in front of her camera. She even shares the strategies she used to photograph 50 realtors in two days, completely solo.

If you regularly find yourself wearing every hat on a shoot, there’s a lot to take away from this one. Watch Gilmar tell you more about it below, and then check it out here!

You can purchase this class for just $39, or subscribe to KelbyOne and get access to this course plus our entire library for only $19.99 a month. Try it risk-free with our 100% money-back guarantee.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KelbyOne Announces Launch of AURÉ, a New Fine Art Photography Magazine

TAMPA, FL – July 15, 2026 – Scott Kelby and the team at KelbyOne today announced the launch of AURÉ, a new fine art photography magazine showcasing the extraordinary work of members in KelbyOne’s Master of Photography program. Designed as a highly curated visual experience, the magazine highlights only the strongest work submitted by program members, offering readers a gallery-like experience.

The magazine will be released every six weeks for the remainder of 2026, transitioning to a quarterly schedule in 2027 to align with the evolving body of work from Master of Photography members. Images are submitted by members for consideration, but inclusion is highly selective. Only a select group of photographers and images appear in each issue to maintain the publication’s elevated fine art standard.

True to its fine art focus, the magazine features a clean, minimalist layout where the images are the stars. Generous white space, large image reproductions, and minimal text create an experience that feels less like reading a traditional magazine and more like walking through a carefully curated gallery. Each spread is designed to encourage viewers to engage deeply with the photography, free from distractions.

The debut issue includes an in-depth interview with cover artist Kim Clark, offering readers insight into his creative process, influences, and approach to fine art photography. This feature sets the tone for future issues, which will spotlight select Master of Photography members whose work and artistic perspectives represent the highest levels of craft and vision within the KelbyOne community.

“KelbyOne’s Master of Photography members are creating some of the most compelling images we’ve ever seen,” said Scott Kelby. “This new magazine gives their work the kind of presentation it deserves—beautifully presented, thoughtfully sequenced, and crafted to truly honor the art.”

The inaugural issue is available now as both an interactive digital flipbook and a downloadable PDF.

Advertising opportunities are available for brands that align with the magazine’s fine art and photography audience. For advertising inquiries, please contact Kleber Stephenson at sales@kelbyone.com.

This week marked a major milestone as The Grid celebrated its 700th episode, and Scott Kelby brought together an outstanding panel of photographers to talk about one of photography’s most rewarding subjects: people.

Joining Scott were Dixie Dixon, Joe Edelman, and Ibarionex Perello, each sharing techniques and insights they’ve developed through years of photographing everyone from clients and models to complete strangers.

For Lightroom users, one of the biggest takeaways wasn’t tied to sliders or presets—it was the reminder that strong portraits begin long before you open Lightroom. Better light, stronger direction, authentic expressions, and genuine human connection all make post-processing easier and your final images more impactful. The panel covered everything from Dixie’s beautifully simple “garage light” portrait technique and Joe’s creative lighting and posing ideas to Ibarionex’s thoughtful approach to street photography and building confidence when approaching people.

Scott also introduced AURÉ, KelbyOne’s brand-new magazine featuring the work of photographers in the Master of Photography program.

If photographing people is something you’d like to improve, this milestone episode is filled with practical advice that starts in-camera and carries all the way through your editing workflow. To keep building your posing, lighting, and connection skills after the panel, explore people photography training at KelbyOne for practical classes you can revisit as you shoot.

Watch the replay below.

She also demonstrates how apps including Photoshop, Lightroom, Mextures, Tintype, and Prisma can help bring those creative ideas to life.

If you’ve ever wanted your iPhone photography to feel more personal, artistic, and uniquely your own, this class is full of ideas you’ll want to try. Watch it here today.

We’re only one week away from the Photographing People Conference, and I couldn’t be more excited about this one.

One of the biggest reasons is the instructor lineup. We’ve got 19 world-class photographers teaching everything from posing and lighting to travel, street photography, weddings, family photography, editing, mobile photography, and a whole lot more. If there’s a person in your frame, you’ll find sessions that will help you make stronger images.

The other thing I love about these conferences is the community. You’ll be learning alongside photographers from around the world, asking questions during the live sessions, and seeing some incredible work in our attendee photo contest.

Speaking of the contest, don’t forget to enter your favorite photo of a person. It’ll be featured in the conference gallery, and you’ll have a chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors.

And remember, if you can’t make every class live, every registration comes with a full year of replays. That’s one of my favorite parts because it lets you go back and revisit the sessions whenever you want.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, I hope you’ll come spend a few days with us July 20–22. I think you’re going to have a great time, learn a lot, and leave inspired.

Hope to see you there! You can get all the details and register here.

Oh, and one more thing…if you’re planning to join us, don’t wait too long. The Early Bird price ends Monday, July 20, and that’ll save you $150 off the regular $299 registration. I always like saving a few bucks when I can.
