I have a fabulous idea for one of my bathrooms and it involves: stripes, vintage Chanel, and a venetian mirror. in my mind I always imagined horizontal stripes until I saw this photo. So what do I do??

Hello all,

If you haven't noticed it's been quite a long time since I have blogged {Is that a verb??} So tonight the hubby is off to a wrestling match tonight, and I figured, why the heck not? It's almost a new year right!

I was just on pinterest {my new love} and was pondering some things I would like to accomplish i.e. new years resolutions, if you will. Typically I don't "officially" state new year's resolutions because I find it sort of cliche and expected... & of course we all want to get to the gym more etc etc! {at least I do}!! anyway, I kind of thought it might be fun to write down a few things on my mind, at least so I can remember them. enjoy!

things that miiiight be fun in the new year:

1. learning how to upholster... bc I am not rich & probablyyyy need to know this skill.

2. decorate my house {yes we have a house now! I know...it's been a while}. this new house decorating venture will involve learning how to: paint &wallpaper woop

3. work out more {duhh I had to say it}

4. prioritize important things in life, making sure to have quiet time etc.personal stuff ya know ;)

PS---I'm revamping this blog...soon.

hi. :] i'm back and i'm married! we'll i'm kind of back. ;] we have been so busy setting up our home, writing thank yous, camping, trying to enjoy each other etc etc etc. the wedding was a blast! the weather was in the 70s and the winery was gorgeous because all of the rain we had been having. luckily there was no rain on the big day. here is a photo to get you by, we are still organizing our faves and needing editing etc so we i will post many more soon!

wedding life has been wonderful. i am the luckiest woman in the world to have such an amazing husband! we are enjoying every minute of married life and looking forward to things calming down a bit, but still loving life amidst the chaos. enjoy some of our photos. i CAN NOT wait to share more of the details. :] <3

Hello there! Long time no see. :] As you all know, it's been a super busy time for me, the past two Sundays in a row I have had 2 different bridal showers. Fun, I know! I thought I would share some of the photos with you. One of the showers my grandma hosted and the other my maid of honor and her step mom hosted. I simply LOVE this picture. I love the plates, I love the pink wall, I love the tulips. Love. This photo was featured in the spring issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, obsessed I know. The idea is that your guests sign your plates and you later mount them on your wall. I am serrrrrrrrriously considering this. Did I say love? Anyway, I'm off to the dentist! Ohhh what fun. I have noticed that typically on 'things I love thursday' I feature a things to wear, accessories, dishes etc. Well, I figure it is my blog right? So instead of just doing things to shop for I'm doing any 'thing' that I love. okk just had to clear that up. Anywho...

A 'thing' I love.. and a 'thing' you NEED to love today.... Cherry blossoms.

I discovered this in my Martha Stewart Weddings magazine and these flowers, the pink the romantic feel make me want to swoon. Cherry Blossom. I used to think of my lotion from bath and body works but now this flower has so much more meaning to me. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as a do. :]

Dear bloggers,

Hello there! I feel like I have been so out of touch with the world of internet lately, thus feeling slightly behind. Well, here's a little update on me, I moved into our "love nest"! How exciting is this? I'm getting pretty settled now besides the downstairs bedroom. That is an eclectic blend of wedding stuff, crafts, wall decor, etc etc etc. Soon I hope to organize this as we are having cousins stay for the wedding. YAY!

I have painted my $20 craiglist table and got sweet dining tables from West Elm. I spray painted my $10 chandelier white [for the wedding] and hope to attach the crystals soon. I also painted a small dresser/entry table [don't even know what to call this] white and put on some blue/green knobs from anthro [also using for wedding]. So, as you can tell I have been busy with house/wedding projects.

The wedding is about 2 1/2 months away and as much as I love weddings, I am mostly excited to be married and enjoy our sweet honeymoon in Isla Mujeres, Mexico! I am also getting ready for a couple of my bridal showers here in the next couple of months [woo hoo] so that will be lots of fun! Anyway, I just wanted to keep my readers updated so you won't be wondering where I am! :]

Busy Bee

Dear Friends,

The next couple of weeks are going to be busy for me as I am going to be packing and moving... not very far but still moving, etc etc etc. :] Therefore with wedding plans and moving, trying to organize my life, etc I have decided to take a little break from blogging. {I also don't currently have internet so that makes it tough too.} However, no internet can also be freeing! Anywho...back on track... I just wanted to let my readers know that I have not forgotten about you and I will be back with lovely posts as soon as I can. I'm thinking it could be a couple of weeks with moving and such but who knows, maybe I'll sneak in a post. I hope you can understand as things are very busy for my fiancee and me. But, the wedding is in about 3 months and then things will calm down a bit! It's all very exciting. :] Feel free to send me emails as I will still be checking that when I get a chance. This wedding took place at the beautiful St. Chapelle Winery in Caldwell, Idaho. Who doesn't love a winery wedding?... maybe I am biased because I am getting married at a winery myself. :]
