Hi, long time ago I did not update this blog. Today, I present again and try to provide something new and hopefully useful for all readers.

As a designer, I will keep trying to produce new works are creative and innovative.

This time, I will post a design Post Card with category Real Estate or Home Selling. On this design, I chose a bright color, "red". In addition to red, I was also a little insert yellow or gold as color balance. Then I gave texture plaid, but could say no plaid as well. For text font, I chose simple.

Since this is a post card design, the focus here is the name of the owner's identity and pictures.

Lastly, I added some wallpapers related to Real Estate.

Evidently, Samsung infringe six Apple’s patents

Apple managed to win against Samsung in patent dispute series of Smart Phone and some Tablet features which became innovation of Apple. At trial, the jury sided with Apple claims that Samsung had infringed on valid patents when it copied those and other design elements while seeking to compete against the wildly popular iPhone and iPad and denied that Apple had infringed several Samsung’s patents.

Samsung must pay $ 1.05 billion to the Apple, far from a request that made by the Apple, that is $ 2.5 billion. But for Samsung, this is a huge impact on the development of their business, including other electronics manufacturers allied with them.

Google is the world's leading search engines. With this status, it is not wrong when Google implemented a strict algorithm. This is evidenced by launch of a new algorithm, Google Penguin. This algorithm is the development of previous algorithm, Google Panda. On Penguin, Google implement strict working system so that in filtering website, Google will remove all redundant sites in SEO and all spam sites.

Here are some factors that will be targeted Google Penguin:

Website affiliate that prioritizes promotion, but low content
Sites that hide link intentionally

Email Security, protect your Yahoo Mail from spam mail

Any internet users who use email applications must be received a spam email. Neither Yahoo or Google users. On this opportunity I will explain how to protect your yahoo mail from spam mail attacks.

Email is an Internet application to send virtual letters that have main components that is RFC 822, MIME, MUA and the MTA.

The method I use is Address Blocking method. This is a method by working to block spam mail based on IP address or domain that has been categorized as a Spammer address.

Previously, we must first know all the characteristics of a spam mail. Spam mail is characterized by irregular uppercase on email heading and email contents. Then also marked by a number of links that leading to adult sites.

Now we knew all the characteristics of spam mail. Next, we will try to protect our email using Address Blocking method.

First, login to Yahoo Mail using your email account.
Next, on menu at the top left, select Options then Mail Options.
After that, on left menu select Address Blocking.
Then, add the email address of spam mail in Add Address form and click Add.
Finally, now email address of spam mail has been successfully blocked. If a spam mail comes back, so system will not receive that email.

How Google is growing up into a real IT company

Of the dozens of meeting requests I received in conjunction with this year’s Interop conference, the one I least expected came from Google. Interop is all about enterprise IT — networks, security, servers, stuff with gravitas — and Google is, well, Google. Whatever it is, it’s not enterprise IT. Or is it?

It’s not IBM or Cisco, but in its own way, Google is becoming a serious IT company. According to Jonathan Rochelle, group product manager for collaboration apps (with whom I spoke on Tuesday), you can see the evidence of Google’s maturity in recent product launches such as Google Drive and BigQuery. They’re not half-baked computer science projects in the guise of applications, but fully baked products that have undergone lots of internal scrutiny.

Where does it live and what should it cost?

Google isn’t just thinking about the technology when it releases products, but also about things such as pricing and ensuring applications stick around. It’s also naturally limiting the products it rolls out, Rochelle said, always asking, even of cool technology, “Where does it live?” Someone has to sponsor it, and it has to have a purpose.

That’s probably a good starting point considering the heat Google has taken over the past year for some significant product changes. CEO Larry Page’s “more wood behind fewer arrows” strategy, for example, might help boost the company’s bottom line, but users of some experimental services that got the axe weren’t too happy. And then there was Google Wave.

Users of App Engine, Google’s cloud computing application platform, were downright furious when the service lost its “alpha” label last September after about three years. Along with the status came new pricing model that threatened to raise the monthly bills for their apps — many of which weren’t generating much money in the first place — through the roof. For developers, it was re-architect your application for efficiency, pay a much larger bill or rebuild your application — built especially to run on App Engine — and take it elsewhere.

Rochelle acknowledged that some of Google’s past actions have resulted in “a valid concern when things are first introduced” that they won’t stick around.

“Do no evil” … and be prudent

However, with Drive, Rochelle said, the seven or so years it was in development actually resulted in a product that users can rest assured isn’t going anywhere and isn’t going to suddenly double in price. The technology is right and the team didn’t take lightly the task of developing a sustainable pricing model. Google is getting better at this kind of stuff, he said. “It matters to people.”

It didn’t hurt, either, that a market built up around Drive while it stayed tucked away inside the Googleplex instead of being rushed out the door. Box.net and Dropbox, “gave credibility to every layer of the concept,” Rochelle said.

Much of what makes Drive such a robust product off the bat also applies to BigQuery, Google’s recently released big data tool querying huge data sets via a spreadsheet interface. Although many users might never need to move beyond the free 100GB the service allows them to store and analyze, users paying for BigQuery can analyze up to 70TB of data.

BigQuery is targeting “big, hairy, audacious problems that you otherwise couldn’t solve,” said Rochelle, who spent years on Wall Street and knows the types of demands serious users can put on spreadsheets. And because it’s targeting users like those on Wall Street, or in pharmaceutical firms or genomics labs, BigQuery came with a service level agreement from day one.

You gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette

Actually, it’s Google’s quest to move beyond consumers and attract enterprise users that might be most responsible for its newfound maturity. Although Apps and everything else non-advertising is just a sliver of Google’s overall business, Rochelle said it’s a “significantly big business compared to its peers [in the collaboration and productivity software space].” In some ways, he said, “It’s shocking that we’re at that point.”

But competing against the likes of Microsoft and other large vendors comes at a cost. For one thing, there’s the constant litigation, customer poaching and public potshots all in an attempt to gain every possible edge over competitors. On the product side, although large customers will actually pay for products that work, they’re dead serious about those products working as advertised. For Google, that means no more (or at least a lot less) messing around.

Yahoo adds to Facebook suit

On Friday, Yahoo added to its claims of infringement against Facebook, in addition to denying that it violates any of the patents named in the social network’s countersuit.

The additional claims involve the “System and Method to Determine Validity of and Interaction on a Network” and the “System and Method Allowing Advertisers to Manage Search Listings in Pay for Placement Search System Using Grouping,” which the company says is violated by Facebook Ads.

In the filing, Yahoo also hits out at Facebook for asserting patents in-suit that it purchased from other companies — notable, as Facebook recently purchased 650 patents from Microsoft. The patents, originally held by AOL, were viewed as a way for the social network to better defend itself against infringement claims.

“Facebook lacks a good faith basis for most, if not all, of its counterclaims, particularly those patents that it purchased from others,” Yahoo said in its filing, trying to cast Facebook’s claims as weaker because the patents did not originate in-house.

Several companies use patents acquired from other firms in patent litigation, however, as patent expert Florian Mueller pointed out on a Google+ post about the new case.

“Yahoo! wants to show to Facebook that escalation always goes both ways, and it tries to make Facebook’s counterclaims look dubious and weak, with a view not only to the court but also the general public and existing or prospective Facebook investors,” Mueller wrote.

In an e-mailed statement from Yahoo, the company said: “Today’s filing underscores the breadth of Facebook’s violation of Yahoo!’s intellectual property. As we have stated previously, Yahoo!’s technologies are the foundation of our business that engages over 700 million monthly unique visitors and represent the spirit of innovation upon which Yahoo! is built. We intend to vigorously protect these technologies for our customers and shareholders.”

Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the suit.

Facebook, Microsoft strike a patent deal

Facebook and Microsoft announced Monday that they have struck a deal for over 1,000 patents, including some of the patents Microsoft recently acquired from AOL.

According to the release, Facebook will pay around $550 million in cash for the patents. Microsoft and AOL announced their patent deal on April 9, with Microsoft grabbing up over 800 of AOL’s patents for $1.1 billion.

The social network will own approximately 650 patents from AOL, plus a license to the patents that Microsoft owns. In turn, Microsoft will keep ownership of approximately 275 of its patents and will have a license to the AOL patents now owned by Facebook.

“Today’s agreement with Facebook enables us to recoup over half of our costs while achieving our goals from the AOL auction,” said Microsoft’s Brad Smith, executive vice president and general counsel, in a statement.

Microsoft owns an estimated 1.6 percent of Facebook shares. The two companies have worked closely together in the past on efforts such as Skype integration into the social network. It had, however, been reported by Bloomberg that Microsoft outbid Facebook for the AOL patents.

The patents are undoubtedly meant to be a defensive stockpile for Facebook. The social network recently filed a countersuit against Yahoo, which has accused Facebook of infringing on several patents regarding social networking, ad placement and user customization. Facebook, in turn, denied the accusations of infringement and claimed that Yahoo violates Facebook patents including those related to photo-sharing, the real-time news feed and tagging digital media.

Ted Ullyot, Facebook’s general counsel said, “This is another significant step in our ongoing process of building an intellectual property portfolio to protect Facebook’s interests over the long term.”

Facebook is likely angling to resolve the Yahoo case as quickly as possible, given the company’s impending market debut. The company, which filed its paperwork to go public earlier this year, is expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ in mid to late May.

Video Game: Diablo III out for open beta this weekend

Blizzard is giving patient fans a chance to play Diablo III, the next installment of the popular series that last released a new title in 2000. Diablo, as a franchise, is a massive success that has sold over 18.5 million copies to date. Diablo III is expected to sell 5 million copies in its first year according to a report from MCV.

Details on the third installment of the franchise have been scarce, but gamers have been excited about a few announced features. Not only will the graphics for the game be fully updated after a 12-year hiatus, but the game will also feature a new item called Skill Runes, which are baked into the leveling system. The runes will make it possible for players to add or alter skills to fit their character, Gaming Blend reported in February.

You can get a taste of the game this weekend before it hits stores on May 15. From Friday, April 20 at 3 p.m., Eastern to Monday at 1 p.m, Eastern, anyone with an account on Blizzard’s Battle.net gaming service will be able to take part in all the demon-fighting fun.

There are some rules to the beta, however. Players will be able to play with friends and play each of the five classes, but only to level 13. Users will not be able to post in the beta forums or have access to in-game currency for the Diablo III auction house. Also, Korean players will not be able to participate in this weekend’s test, though there will be an invitation-only beta for players in Korea on April 23.

April 20 (Bloomberg) -- Microsoft Inc. should sell its Bing search business to Facebook Inc., a deal worth about $5 billion that would help both companies compete with Google Inc., said Rick Sherlund, an analyst at Nomura Equity Research.

“If their real motivation for being in the search business is to prevent Google from having complete market dominance, Microsoft would be better off working with Facebook,” Sherlund said today in an interview on Bloomberg Radio’s “Bloomberg Surveillance” with Tom Keene and Ken Prewitt.

Apple is defending its decision to market the latest iPad as a 4G-compatible device, answering a complaint from the Australian government’s consumer watchdog.

The company said Thursday in an Australian federal court that its decision to tout the tablet as 4G was not deceptive, the Australian reported. The tablet, which is compatible with 4G networks in the United States, does not work on Australian 4G networks. Apple has offered refunds to Australian consumers who felt they were misled by Apple’s marketing.

Apple has said that it was clear from before the launch of the iPad that its tablet would not work with the 4G networks in Australia.

Apple’s Australian Web site says that its iPad works on the country’s “HSPA, HSPA+ and DC-HSPA” networks, without mentioning the “Ultrafast 4G LTE” that it promotes on its Web pages in America and Canada — the only countries where the iPad is 4G LTE-compatible.

The dispute over the iPad touches on another point of contention on the labeling of the world’s mobile networks — namely what exactly is 4G. Apple is running into problems because the LTE frequencies of U.S. and Australian networks aren’t compatible.

The International Telecommunications Union, a standards-setting body for telecommunications services, identifies just two technologies as “true” 4G networks: LTE Advanced and WiMax Release 2, which aren’t as widely deployed.

But, technically, carriers can (and do) apply the 4G branding to LTE networks, WiMax networks and HSPA+ networks with the blessing of the ITU because they provide a “substantial level of improvement in performance...with respect to the initial third-generation systems now deployed.”

This act was particularly important to consumers who pay for the text messages they received, and who were feeling helpless against marketers sending unsolicited advertising to their phones that they were being charged for.

The best way for you to make sure that you don't get yourself into trouble is to make sure that, as you build your text message marketing list, you are either getting people to sign themselves up (and therefore establishing permission for you to send them messages), or to work with an SMS service company that is providing you with a clean list.

You should also take note that the MMA (Mobile Marketers Association), an organization in the United States which establishes best practices for text messaging, has also required that your text marketing messages must include a way for a consumer to opt-out of receiving messages, just as they opted in. Be sure that any message you send provides the consumer on your list with a way to tell you to stop.
