So yeah. I made a ID various online places. Mostly DA. I couldn’t think of a background, so I just fiddled with the background for 10 minutes. Works well with the Artistic Insanity thing on the blogspot, no?

Truthfully, this picture is fairly accurate sans weight: I wear an SJ cap my sister bought me with my name on it, I do regularly wear SJ Jerseys during the Season, Giants during the summer, and I normally throw on a sweater underneath, thickness dependent on the weather.

Going by the current picture, I’m actually wearing my Pavelski Jersey.-

I love Tako Luka. She's... too goddamn adorable. Seriously, it should be a crime to be both that adorable. So when I sketched up this one, I had all the thoughts of doing her justice, and not just a passing boredom sketch.
I left it all simple (much like Tako is herself.): Flat colors, big wide strokes, really simplistic design and idea: Tako wants a fish. Do you have a fish for her?

Cover for the Wakfu Doujin. I was originally going to for Wakfu Lettering, but it didn't look right. I was also going to include Dragonic around the feather, but I couldn't find the type font.

Anyways, it's simple, and sexy, so I think it works.

Total Amalia x Yugo. And it's not for kids.

Doing as much as I can in the time frame I'm given nowadays, trying to juggle fics and art with work has been a hassle. With no commission work, I'm forced to put in the hours towards my bike. So All I've got done do far this week is 1 chapter of a story and most of the major issues with the cover, as well as some rough sketching of the first two pages, as well as some random comic idea I had.

Anyways, for those of you not in the know, the cover's for a Wakfu Doujin I'm doing. It's not for kids, as you can plainly tell by the unfinished cover. It Yugo X Amalia goodness.

I'm working on a Wakfu Doujin. It's Amalia x Yugo goodness. I'm using an old fanfic I wrote as the script, so I don't need to do anything other then translate an idea already in my head. In anycase, I'm only even inking the cover right now, so there's nothing really to show yet.

While taking a break, I saw and old image of Rikku I did. I wanted to try out a few brushes, and see how much I've improved, so I decided to edit it up a little bit. It's still sloppy as hell, but it's got more tone now, at least, and I added a simple background. I couldn't remember what the top of the Celcius looked like.

In any case, I'm not sure I improved over the original, flat colored image any. In fact, I think it looks kinda worse.

Saber Quickie

While getting some idea for what I want to do with my Wakfu Doujin, I speed painted up a little thing of Saber. Original, the sword was being held, but it looked awkward to have her holding a sword like a knife, so I instead made her resting her hand on it, leaning wearily on it as she eyes a unusually calm day.
It's really had to find a reference for the back of her armor, so I felt lucky to have a model on hand to use

I've been far too long without a set of wheels. It's 2k to get a used one. I've been trying to buy one for a while, but Christmas and Birthdays wipe out the cash I had saved.

Which is good news for you guys. I'm officially going to take commissions now, and I want to try and do enough of them by march to get a little Ninja 250 (or an EX500, looking at the prices.).

I work fairly quickly on paid works, and with work slowing down somewhat, I should be able to work more and more on your guys things while moving forward with my own materials, which I hope to do soon.

The Black Magic Musician.

When one's musical aspiration are limited to being a hat, one, of course, has to learn Magic to compensate. Luckly, music is the most basic and powerful form of magic there is. Black Mage MC is one those nicer then they look characters. While the skull bauble and murderous looking wizard hat look menacing, they are merely ruses to a stoic figure who just wants to sing.
However, riding on a skull in a bauble may be a bit much, even if it's just for show.

This piece took way longer then it should have, in my opinion, but I kept on adding detail that I felt were missing to the piece: original, there was no background, which was quickly fixed with the addition of his Arcane circle. The Bauble looked empty, so the Skull was added to add a little more scary to the image, Original, the hat had no eyes, which I quickly changed. and lastly, he was wearing a baseball shirt. About the only thing I really kept was his body not reflecting light.

I also had an idea to put headphones on him, but black on black didn't work, and I felt headphones on the Hat would be a bit weird and excessive, so the arcane music circle will do. I might add a few floating music runes or something.

The arcane circle itself was a job to do, having actual musical quotes and song title, as well as artists and lyrics.

In any case, this has take far too much time, and now it's onto other projects.

This is the background to the black mage poster. Since Bleak is a musical identity, I decided to make the arcane circle used to summon him music based. The words are a odd type font, and are translate into different lyrics and titles, as well as two musical quotes from Neitchez and Plato.

You have no idea how motivating the OST to Fate/Extra is. It's starting to come together, piece by piece. I was working on this all day, save a bit of rest when the 49ers and Raiders played. I have to spend some time with the old man, after all, rooting for the home teams to make playoffs.
It should be done tomorrow. I really hope it gets done tomorrow. It's looking too good now.

I did some editing of Ranma-Chan. Her face bothered me, being so wide, so I sharped it a bit. I also added the missing buttons on her shirt, a third piece of braid, and a simple background.

A quick one I drew during a lunch break at work. I was just going with the music. Hatsune Miku has some good stuff, no? took me all of 10 minutes.

I get better forms when I draw it on paper first, I noticed. This exact image would have never come out out on photoshop.

So I said I would do a shirt design. I'm currently working on this one. I love the idea of black mages, but I hate robes and things like that.

I also have to apologized. Recently bought a PSP, broke it loose, and bought Fate/Extra and Chrono Cross. I've been ODing like a mother fucker on Saber and Kid. I think I have a thing for independent blondes....

That's not to say I haven't been working on anything: two fanfics, one adult. One is my attempt to do a cross over.

Sorry about that. I got the flu, and was pretty much hacking up everything in me for the last week. (I still am, but nowhere near as bad.) Anyways, I worked on a couple of things when I felt up to it. But then turkey day rolled up... and well you know how it goes. I only got a incompleted drawing and a sketch idea for you guys to look at.

I had this idea for a mech, but I'm nowhere near capable of mechs looking anywhere near solid. I've been trying to just work on a face, but can't even figure out the design. (which is like, prefect in my head.)

Anyways.

Finally managed to get some time between the sharks and Work to squeeze out Rin Kagamine from Vocaloids like I said I would.

Auto desk has been very useful, but I'm starting to find it's draw backs. I think I might reload painter to help over come some of the issues like a severe lack of ability to layer and no real way to clean up without having to redo the image over.

Still, the marker tool is much more helpful then painters and blends works with the drawing much better and allows me easier colors and gentler tones.

On a whim, decided to pop in the disk that came with the tablet I just bought. Had a program called Autodesk Sketchbook. Have to say: loving it's built specifically for the tablet and has all the features I seem to use most in Photoshop and then some. Loving the marker tool

In any case, I decided to draw something in Autodesk, and came out with this sketch of Amalia from Wakfu. Might have something to do with the lastest episode being Amalia specific? Or... you know, the fact /co/ found out her boob is showing in it. Might do a Rin Drawing next.

Finally bought a new Bamboo today. I'm not used to the new tablet, so I decided to test it out on a sketch.
Still don't have the settings for the pen down just yet. It's a lot more sensitive then my older tablet.
