Disney Princess On Ice

I took Brinkley to see Disney Princess on Ice! She is so into all the princesses right now I thought she was probably ready for something like this!She dresses up as Snow White which is her personal favortie! She was so precious! We had incredible seats so she got to see everything right up close! We had a great time and made some wonderful memories together!

I know I haven't blogged in forever, but it has been totally chaotic around here the last couple of months! These are pictures from Easter! We had an Easter egg hunt with Jerron's family on Saturday and then went to church and had a little get together Sunday with my family. The kids were really into it this year and Brinkley LOVED finding eggs! She got so excited everytime she found one! I am really going to try to keep the blog updated now. Soccer and T-ball is dying down now so I should have a little more time!

Brinkley's First Haircut

I took Brinkley to get her first haircut Thursday! I didn't really know what to expect from Brinkley I just knew something had to be done to this girls hair! It was driving me crazy! She was such a little angel! I was so proud of her. She got her hair cut and styled and her fingernails and toenails painted! She is such a big girl!

For Jerron's Birthday we had his family over and the kids and I made him a cake. Braydon wanted to get daddy a "jumping thing" aka a bounce house and decorate with a transformers theme. LOL He cracks me up! When we tried picking out a gift for Jerron he was wanting to get him a Transformer. I asked him " Buddy you do know it's Daddy's birthday and not yours right?!? LOL It was also Our brother in law Danny's Birthday so we celebrated his as well.

Braydon Turns 5

Braydon has turned 5. I can't believe my Baby Boy is 5 years old! It just sounds so old! His party was not on his actual birthday so to make his Birthday special we made a cake and cooked his favorite meal which was Chicken, Green Beans, Broccoli, and Mac and Cheese. We also invited Mimi over for some of the fun! We had his party at the local Bowling Alley and he got to invite his friends from school. He had a blast! The theme was Transformers....imagine that! Haha. We had a good time so thanks to everyone who came and made his day so special!

Happy Halloween! We had a busy, but fun Halloween weekend. We went to a Halloween Party Saturday Night and Trick or Treating Sunday Night. Braydon was Iron Man, Brinkley was a witch as was I, and Jerron was someone from the 80's. Fun Fun Fun!

Brinkley has turned 2! I cannot believe how fast the last 2 years have flown by! It is true what they say..Once you have kids time goes by much faster! Brinkley you are such a blessing to our family and I am so lucky God has given me such a precious gift! You truly are a blessing from God. I love you baby girl! Joshua Seth Pruett

My cousin Josh lost his battle to cancer this month. He was only 28 years old. He was not only a wonderful cousin but also a great friend. Our Nana called us her twins because we were both born on the same day. He was such an amazing person with such a good heart. Please keep my family in your prayers as we grieve such a huge loss! RIP Josh. You will be greatly missed! I love you!

This 4th of July we had fun filled weekend! We went to Mimi and Papa T's Friday Night and shot off some fireworks of our own. Braydon LOVES some fireworks! Brinkley...not so much. Saturday night we went to an AWESOME July 4th party and firework show that was AMAZING! To quote Braydon.. "This is the bestest firework show I have ever seen!" "I want to come here everyday". LOL It is so fun to watch things through a childs eyes! Sunday we headed to the lake with family and friends. We had a fun weekend!

Memorial Weekend

We spent Memorial Weekend at the Lake. The kids had a blast ! We spent Saturday at the Lake and then Monday we went and ate with Mimi and Papa T and then took Braydon bowling. He loved it! It was so cute watching him get so excited! I think Braydon actually beat me in bowling..which really isn't that great b/c I am terrible! I am great playing on the Wii but not at the real deal. Happy Mother's Day!

Well we are finally all moved and settled in here in AR. We miss Alabama alot, but it is SO nice being so close to the family. For Mother's Day we cooked out for lunch at my brother in-laws house and went and ate Japanese with my Mom and Dad for dinner. We had a great time and I am so thankful we were able to spend it with our Mother's this year! I hope all you Mothers out there had a fabulous Mother's Day!

Spring Break

Last week was Spring Break and we did all kinds of fun activities! We took a road trip to Tuscaloosa and went to The Children's Hands on Museum, we went to a couple of playgroups, had green night, and was able to go to the park a couple of times. We had a great week! It was nice having Braydon home all week. We got to do things we aren't usually able to do due to pre-k. I'm definately sad that it is over...Braydon on the otherhand is ready to go back to school and see his friends...Brinkley and I apprarently are not as much fun! :)

Green Night

For St Patricks Day this year we did another green night. Red Night was such a hit, why not have a green night?!? The kids loved it! Our menu for dinner included Chicken with green basil pesto, green beans, and green mac and cheese....yes I said green. :) We also had green jello for dessert and green koolaid for drinks...yummo! It was a fun night! Happy St Patrick's Day!

Brinkley's in her Big Girl Bed!

Brinkley is not even 18 months old yet and we have already had to put her in a Toddler bed. This girl is our monkey child! She kept crawling out of her bed so we decided it might be safer to just take her out of the baby bed. I was very nervous about this..if you have ever met Brinkley you would know why...She isn't scared of anything and she seems to have figured out all the childproof locks and doorknob covers...I could just see her roaming our house at night and waking up to who knows what!

The first night was rough. She kept getting out and after a little over an hour or so she stayed in it and fell asleep. Whew! Or so I thought...At around 2am I hear her on the monitor crying and beating on her door. I went in there to put her back in her bed and went back to bed..As soon as I got all warm and comfy and ready to fall back asleep I hear her again...So I get back up with the same routine..This carried on for a couple of hours so I put her in bed with Jerron and I...So pretty much we did not sleep that night. It was a rough night!

I am happy to say that day 2 she did perfectly! She is not getting out of her bed anymore..She stays in bed all night until I come get her out! I am so proud of her! Nap time is a little tricky though..She gets out of bed and plays in her room which I am fine with as long as she isn't screaming and she is content staying in there for the alloted time. Usually everyday when I go to check on her this is what I find after 15-20 minutes of quiet. :)

Braydon's First T-ball Practice

Yesterday was Braydon's first T-ball practice. He looked so cute in his T-ball gear!I cannot believe my sweet little boy is old enough to play T-ball. He is getting so big! It's hard to believe how fast time flies. Braydon is so pumped about T-ball and he keeps telling me all the people he wants to come see him play. He is even naming random people from church, a kid we saw in Target one time..Just the most random people...I had to explain to Braydon that the whole State of Alabama could not come watch. :) It's so funny how their little minds work. I love this age!

Wheel Day

Braydon's school had Wheel day today at school. All the kids brought their bikes and helmets and rode in the school parking lot. Braydon thought this was the coolest thing ever!!! They sent home a calendar at the beginning of the month to let us know and Braydon has asked every morning since then if today was the day he could take his bike. I took this picture before we left for school.

Around 6 months ago or we had some new neighbors move in a couple of houses down from us. They are super nice and have 2 girls close to Braydon's age..And since Braydon has met them we seem to have pladates with them atleast 4 to 5 times a week. They have so much fun together! Today it was really nice outside so we blew up the bounce house that the kids got for Christmas and let them all go to town. They were so worn out when they got done! That is one really good thing about the bounce house..After my kids have jumped in this thing its a sure thing for a great nap which makes me very very happy! :)

California

We took the kids to San Diego for Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Jimmy's Wedding. The weather could not have been more gorgeous! It was definately a nice change from the cold. It apparently snowed here in B-ham while we were gone. I was really nervous about the airplane ride with the kids but I could not have asked for better kids. They were such angels! Brayon even got to meet the pilot and copilot in the cockpit on one of our flights and he thought that was super cool! Lindsey's wedding was beautiful and we had good time! We definately have to go back there soon!

Red Night

Since we are going to be in California for V-Day this year we thought we would do our annual Red Night before we left. The kids had so much fun. On the menu was Spagetti and Meatballs with Red Koolaid..(sugar free of course). Then right after dinner we sent the kids on a scavenger hunt to find their V-day goodie bags. It was a hoot!

Chucky Cheese

So we made a deal with Braydon this week that if he stayed in his bed all night for a week I would take him to Chucky Cheese to play. Lately we have been having issues with him coming into our little Queen Size bed around 2am every morning which means Mommy and Daddy aren't getting any sleep. SO he did it...Which now I know he can..He just needed a little motivation and Chucky Cheese did it..Eventhough I despise the place with all I am I knew it is the only place that would work. After we got done at Chucky Cheese Braydon told me what a good time he had. Then he said..."So I am gonna stay in my bed everynight next week...What am I gonna get then"? :)
