Hello to all my travel loving readers … , I know its been a while that I haven’t posted anything about travel ,but today I came with an extremely interesting and exciting blog. This blog is all about one of the best and my favourite destination Belgium.

Before going into the main topic let me give you a small idea of Belgium.

Belgium is of the most beautiful and most historic countries in western part of Europe. It is also the headquarters of NATO and European Union. Its population is about 1.15 Cr . Its capital is Brussels and the languages spoken over here is French , German and Dutch. English is also spoken by the people as it is a tourist destination so you will find English speaking people also.

For foodies this place might suit them very well coz waffles ,chocolates and fries are famous here. Besides that hamburgers and spaghetti is also found popular among Belgium people.

In this blog I will give you a quick idea about the 4 best cities to visit in Belgium.

These places are known for their beautiful buildings , artwork and other stuffs as well.

1. Brussels:- It is the capital city of Belgium . It is a historical city with some famous historical buildings and statues like Grand Palace ,

the iconic Manneken Pis ,

Royal Palace of Belgium.

This city has some famous Cathedrals like St Michael and St Gudula.

You must start your Belgium tour by exploring its capital city first , as international flights from all over the world lands in here only in Belgium , so you start from Brussels only. For shopping lovers, Royal Gallery of St Hubert is meant for them.

From chocolates shops to restaurants , from cafes to pastry shops and from jewellery to boutiques you will find here. Besides for musical lovers who loves musical instruments , Musical Instruments Museum is a best place for them.

2. Antwerp:- This town is a medieval town with some of the best old buildings and beautiful spots. Starting from town square i.e Grote Markt

you can explore all its beautiful places . Antwerp has the most beautiful museums like Museum aan de Stroom ,

Plantin - Moretus Museum ,

Museum of Modern Art.

Besides these it has the beautiful Cathedral of our Lady . If you are coming to Belgium then don’t miss visiting Antwerp.

3. Ghent:- Ghent is famous for its medieval monuments , art museums and canals. Tourists from all over the world visits Ghent for witnessing these medieval architectures and can explore the town by doing one round boat ride. You can explore the town by walking also. You can visit Gravensteen castle ,

Saint Bavo’s Cathedral

and Ghent city museum.

4. Bruges:- Bruges also has beautiful canals along with some historical architectures and landmarks. You can start your exploring by visiting its City Hall.

Then Church of our Lady Bruges ,

Groeninge Museum

and the most iconic church Basilica of the Holy Blood

where the holy blood of Jesus Christ is still preserved here. Other than that you can roam around the streets to explore offbeat tourist attractions.

Now when it comes to accommodation , there are wide of hotels , hostels and Airbnb. So if you are solo traveller then hostels might suit you , but if you are travelling with your family then hotels are and Airbnb are the best . Almost all types of rates are available for hotels and hostels as well. And for commuting in the cities public transport is the best way to use and explore the cities. For going from one city to another city , intercity trains are available or if you wish you can choose bus. Rates may vary for different locations for trains and buses.

Hello guys today I am going to talk about 3 of my best places in New Zealand. New Zealand is one of the most beautiful and tourist friendly destinations over the couple of years. I personally like New Zealand and it is one of my top destinations and also it is in my bucket list. It is an island country located in south western pacific ocean.

This country has population of 49 lakhs and it is in the Oceania continent. Its capital is Wellington.

Now here is a brief description of the following places:-

Auckland:- It is a major city with harbours in northern island. Its total area is 1086 km sq. It is famous for its iconic tower. You will get hotels according to your budget. For 3 star hotel the price will be nearly 6000 INR and 5 star will be nearly 10000 INR . Some of the famous sights apart from Sky tower are Auckland war museum , Art Gallery , Auckland zoo , Queen street etc. Worth visiting place it is. Besides these you can also enjoy the lovely and beautiful beaches here .

Christchurch:- It is one of the beautiful city known for its English heritage. The area of this city is 1426 km sq. Tourists from all over the world visits this city when visiting to New Zealand. Some of the best places Canterbury Museum , Hagley Park north ,Botanic gardens , Orana Wildlife park and Christchurch Gondola ,etc. The rates of 3 star and 5 star hotels are averaging 5900 INR and 9008 INR respectively. It’s a must visit place for everyone.

Queenstown:- It is yet another beautiful island with some major tourist attractions. This place is famous for adventure sports , bungee jumping and skiing etc. Besides this there are many beautiful sights such as Milford Sound , The Remarkables , Coronet peak , Skippers road and Skyline Queenstown. My 4 favourite places in USA......

Hello guys today I came up with a fresh new blog. This blog is all about my top 4 favourite places of USA. Here I will share why I love these places so much and what is the speciality that attracts me to these lovely destinations.

New York :- New York is one of the most famous place around the globe. Yet it is the commercial capital of USA. The most beautiful and most famous spot “The Times Square “ where people wish to visit is in the New York itself. The most beautiful part is that all the skyscrapers when seen from the top floor of any building , believe me it looks so damn beautiful and gorgeous…..! Apart from that you can enjoy nightlife in the times square. People from around the world visits New York for a nightlife experience of Times Square. I love this place so much. Apart from that the Statue of Liberty is also in New York. Also there are famous bridges like Brooklyn bridge and Manhattan Bridge. The main reason that people roam during night is that this city is the safest to roam. You can also visit Empire State Building.

San Francisco:- It is the city in the California state and also the most beautiful place for tourists attraction. Now why I love this place is because almost the city looks a bit hilly area which makes itself a different place compared to other places. Also there is so much to visit here like Golden Gate Bridge , Alcatraz Island , Pier 39 , Lombard Street. The scenic vibes is also beautiful in each and every location of San Francisco.

Los Angeles:- Another most beautiful city in California state. It is famous for its television and film Industry better known as “Hollywood” which is written in the top of the mountain. The reason of my liking this place is Disney Land , Universal Studios , Santa Monica Pier and lots more. This place is very very much favourite to me compared to what SFO and NY are. I personally fell in love with its aura , beauty and nature of this place. Each and every location of this place will give different and beautiful vibes. Must visit this place when you get a chance to.

Miami:- Miami is also one of my favourite places to visit. This is the coastal city in the Florida. The reason is , I personally love beaches and coastal places and Miami is the one which has it. It doesn’t mean that I don’t like other places ….. No! I like them very much but compared to mountains beaches are more little preferable for mine. The beaches are so gorgeous that you wont go back to your hotel and you want to stay there for whole night. From the beach you can enjoy sunsets , as they look so cool .

A GLIMPSE OF BEST 3 PLACES OF SRI LANKA

Hello guys today I will be discussing about a new country which lies in Asia. This is one of the most beautiful coastal country in the southern part of India.

Yes today I will be discussing about Sri Lanka . Sri lanka is very popular from the time when King Ravana used to rule here. But things have changed so far in Sri Lanka , as earlier this country was known by the name “Lanka” but now it is called Sri Lanka.

Located in the southern part of India , this country has a population of approximately 2.17 Cr people. The country capitals are Colombo and Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte , where Colombo is the commercial capital and Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte is the administrative capital.

So today I am going to discuss about 3 best places of Sri Lanka . There are many places in Sri Lanka to visit but those 3 are in my top best recommendable places.

1. Colombo:- It is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka also it is the coastal city located near the sea . With nearly 8 lakhs people in the city, this place has a wide range of sights to visit and things to do , like Beira lake , Independence Square , Galle face garden etc. There are many good no of hotels in Sri Lanka whose price starts from 3000 INR for 3 star hotel and about 5000 INR for 5 star hotels. I personally will say that you can stay maximum for 3 to 4 days in Colombo. There are many good no of restaurants for different tourists having different taste. Also in Colombo , there are many markets where you can do shopping.

2. Kandy:- Kandy is another beautiful city surrounded by mountains . In this place, lots and lots of tea plantations are done. Tourists from all over the world come here to experience this natural beauty. If you are coming to Colombo then you must visit Kandy. There are many Buddhists temples and sites in Kandy. I personally prefer to stay at Kandy for 1 to 2 days maximum if you have a short span of time during Sri Lanka tour. This place is having a population of nearby 1.25 lakhs people. There are different rates for 3 star and 5 star hotel and they are 2588 INR and about 9000 INR respectively. As the season changes the rates may vary for all the hotels in all the different places. During your stay at Kandy you can visit some of the places like Kandy lake , Royal Botanic Gardens , National Museum , Buddha Temples etc. Likewise Colombo , here also there are many restaurants having different taste of cuisines. Overall a very good place to visit and experience the natural vibes.

3. Bentota Island:- Basically , Bentota island is a town located in the Southern West coast of Sri Lanka. This island is surrounded by beaches and good number of resorts. In Bentota you can experience island vibes and also can do some activites like you can visit Bentota Lake or you can do some water sports . You can sit and relax in the beach and enjoy the breeze . Bentota has some good number of resorts both 3 star and 5 star having price approximately 3000 INR and 6000 INR respectively. Different food tastes and cuisines are available here as well. You can stay for atleast 2 days here as per my recommendation if you are going to Sri Lanka for 1 week.

Hello guys …..

Today I came up with a very new and interesting place where you will witness some of the most iconic and vibrant views . It is an island nation in the East Africa with having approximately 12.7 lakhs population. Yes, I am talking about none other than Mauritius . It is that place known for its culture, vibes and traditions. Also it is a famous destination for honeymoon couples and destination weddings.

Mauritius is a place having 12.7 lakhs population approximately. Its capital is Port Louis. This country falls under Indian ocean in the East African continent. Mauritius is that famous destination where almost every year tourists visit in lakhs. It is a budget friendly destination for tourists who travels alone and also with family. Here the culture is mixed and the language that is spoken over here is called Creole. However Creole is their official language but English is also spoken here widely. Earlier this country was called Dina Arobi as it was first discovered by Arab sailors.

So now I am going to discuss some of the places of Mauritius which I think the best ones for tourists an which I recommend too.

1. Trou Aux Biches :- It is basically a small town. This town is having beach on the northern coast of Mauritius. This is the most beautiful and tourist attracted beach in entire Mauritius. Recommendable place for tourists to visit. Average prices of hotels are about 3,088 INR and highest is about 40,000 INR.

2. Port Louis:- Like I mentioned earlier , it is the capital of Mauritius. People coming from all over the world enters first here. This place is having big buildings with many market places and others what capital cities do have. This place is having a population of about 1.48 lakhs. The hotel rates are 7,407 INR and the highest price is about 45,885 INR. Lovely city to hang out.

3. Ile Aux Cerfs:-

This is basically a private island with beaches having white sands. Tourists visit this place a lot. Also this place has 87 hectares of land for vegetation. The view and aura of this place is awesome. Must visit this place…..! . Here minimum hotels rates are 2000 INR and highest hotel rates are 76,067 INR.

4. Pereybere:- This is located on the northern cost of Mauritius. A friendly spot for tourists. The rates for here are like about 10,000 INR and highest is above 10 thousand INR.

5. Le Morne:- It is yet another spot for tourists. View from here is awesome. Please visit this place once. The lowest hotel rates is about 7,769 INR and the highest is 36000 INR.

6. Chamarel Coloured Earth:- This place is actually geological formation of seven coloured earths. Basically it is a place of sand dunes and now it has become a tourists spot from the 1960s. Tourists mainly visit Mauritius to see this place.

7. La Cuvette Beach:- Best place for swimming , snorkeling and also for relaxing. The lowest rates for hotel is 3,026 INR and highest price may rise to 40 thousand INR. There are lots of hotels in La Cuvette. The beach is so beautiful. Please visit this place once.

8. Flic En Flac Beach:- Flic En Flac is a village which is situated on the northern coast of Mauritius. It is basically a seaside village with soothing beaches around. Lots of tourists across the globe visits here. The lowest hotel rates are 6,469 INR and can highest is about 42,000 INR.

9. Black River Gorges National Park :- Located in the south western part of Mauritius , is a national park. Like other national park , this park is having a wide range of animals like tiger , lion , bear and others. Tourists who are deeply fond of watching wild animals can visit there.

10. Casela World of Adventures:- It is basically a safari park where you can experience watching wild animals in front of your eyes and also you can have an experience of interacting with them. You can do safari tours , ziplining , camel rides .

This country is very beautiful overall and I recommend to visit those who have not or wants to visit. You will fall in love with this place.

This blog is very special to me as well as to you guys, because in this world everyone has their own dream city or country which they wish to visit. Trust me guys this blog is about one of the most beautiful places in the world which most of the people has dream to visit. .

Yes! This blog is all about London , the city of dreams……..

London , the capital city of England, is the most popular destinations for the people all over the world . Every year about 30 million people visits London . The population of London is approximately 9 million people. With huge population , London is having some catchy and exotic locations which tourists can enjoy . The rates of the hotels in the London are having different prices , like 3 star hotel will be costing around 63.46 pounds (5,981 INR) and 5 star hotel will be around 244.05 pounds (23,000 INR). However the rates may vary time to time.

It takes about 9 hours from India to London. Most of us have studied about London in books but once you visit there, your excitement level will be so high to see the city and its spots in front of your eyes. Although we are familiar with some of its locations and iconic spots like Big Ben , London’ s eye and Westminster Abbey and London Bridge but also there are some destinations which are there in London and not much familiar to us. So here I will be discussing about the unknown places and also the known places in brief about the places in London.

1. Buckingham Palace:- This place is very much popular to tourists. It is basically the monarch headquarters of United Kingdom and is situated in the City of Westminster. A lot of tourists from different parts of the globe visit there. It remains open from 9.30 AM to 7.30 PM. However the price for the tickets are 24 pounds(2261.84INR) for adults and for children its 13.50 pounds(1272.29 INR). Such a good place to visit and know its history is worth what a tourist needs. One must visit there.

2. St. Paul Cathedral:- It is basically London’s Anglican cathedral. It is situated in the Ludgate hill and also it is the highest point in London. It is about 365 feet high and its dome is framed by Wren’s city churches . It is established in 1675. Tourists visit a lot. This cathedral is opened from Monday to Saturday and in between 8.30AM to 4.30PM. Tickets price for adults are 18 pounds(1696.38 INR), for students and seniors it is 16 pounds(1507.89 INR) and for children it is 8 pounds(753.95 INR).

3. Big Ben:- The most iconic , the most famous and one of the most popular names when it comes to visit London. Situated in the Westminster of London , this clock is very massive and was established in the year 1843 , in the month of September. A lovely view from other part of the bridge is seen and trust me it is so beautiful. A very good place to take some cool pictures. Must visit place for the tourists.

4. London Bridge:- London Bridge, I can say almost everyone knows about this bridge right from the childhood. Every children in the kindergarten have gone through the poem “London Bridge is falling down”, and this the bridge in actual. Established in the year 1973 and is opened for public transport. This is one of the most iconic place to visit in the morning and as well as evening. This bridge gets divided into two parts when any ships passes by. But when you visit to watch London bridge in evening, it looks even more beautiful then what you will see in the morning.

5.Westminster Abbey:- It is a royal church and which was formerly known as Collegiate Church of Saint Peter. Situated in the west of Westminster , its height is about 85 feet. It remains open from 9.30 AM. It was established on 10^th December 1065.

6. Piccadilly Circus:- Piccadilly circus is a road junction. Founded in 1819 , this place is one of the famous for shopping areas , malls etc where tourists visit. During evening , tourists visit much more because they see lights , entertainment and buzz and lots of activities. Must visit place for tourists especially for those who loves shopping.

Apart from that there are many places to visit. London is so beautiful and it has so many destinations that one cannot finish visiting them by staying only for a week.

MEGHALAYA : THE ABODE OF CLOUDS

Hello guys…. In this blog I will be discussing about one of the best and famous place in entire North East and that is Meghalaya.

Meghalaya is one of the most popular destination amongst tourists from over the world. Every year tourists in huge numbers visit this place . Meghalaya is called home of clouds. It takes about 3 hours drive from Guwahati to Meghalaya’s capital city Shillong. Meghalaya is divided into 11 districts. There are three types of hills region and they are Khasi, Jaintia and Garo hills.

Now I am going to give a brief idea about the places that you can visit in Meghalaya during your stay.

Shillong:- The capital city of Meghalaya. With the population of about 1.50 lakhs people , Shillong is one of the beautiful hill station in the north east of India. Shillong is famous for its manicured gardens and elephant falls. Often Shillong is called “ Scotland of East” because its natural vibes are similar to that of Scotland. Here you will find people majority of the people speaking English , but their official language is Khasi. The city looks very beautiful from the Shillong peak( a popular view point). It just takes about 3 hrs from Guwahati to Shillong. There are some of the beautiful locations in Shillong , one of them is Shillong peak, elephant falls and Polo Ground. The city is very neat and clean and the weather is so pleasant. When it comes to accommodation , there are some of the best hotels for the tourist from all over the world. Price of the hotels start from 3,434 INR. There are different hotels in different locations with different prices.

Cherrapunji(Sohra):- Cherrapunji is also another beautiful and popular destination in Meghalaya. About 1 and half hour drive from Shillong it takes. With a population of about 14000 people, this place is known for its Caves and Waterfalls. Also throughout the year it is one of the places where heavy rainfall happens. Like the weather of London, the weather of Cherrapunji cannot be predicted. A lot of tourists who visits Shillong , visits Cherrapunji too. The popular places are Seven Sister waterfall , Mawsmai Cave, Eco Park, and Wahrew Arch Bridge . Apart from that you will be able to see while going on the route to Cherrapunji , the oldest Ramakrishna Mission on the top of the hill. There are some good number of resorts in Cherrapunji , also you can come back to Shillong in the same day itself. But if staying is your option then there are resorts having budget friendly prices like 4,947 INR. Cherrapunji ‘s earlier name is Sohra.

Dawki:- It is one of the beautiful places in Meghalaya . It is about 45km away from Shillong. This place is famous for its villages and other beautiful spots. It falls under West Jaintia Hills. In Dawki you can visit some of the best places like Dawki river, Wah Umngot , Dawki Boating Point and some of the waterfalls. Besides that you will be able to see the India- Bangladesh border which is called Tamabila 0 points. Several tourists from different parts of the globe visits every year in Dawki. Overall it is a very beautiful and natural place.

Mawlynnong:- Almost everyone in this world knows how and for what this place is so famous. It is called Asia’s cleanest village. This village is so beautiful that you wont see any dirtiness or any kind of garbages thrown in road. The people maintain this village so nicely. One of the most visited places from tourists from all over the world. Falls under East Khasi Hills , this place is also called “ God’s own garden”. It takes 2 hrs and 15 mins from Shillong to Mawlynnong and 1 hour from Dawki. You can come back in same day by visiting this two places. There are some resorts but I will recommend to visit and come back in the same day either to Shillong or to Cherrapunji.

Hello guys….

This blog is very very special for me as well as for the people who loves to visit North East of India.

Today I will be discussing about Assam , its beautiful places, cultures and its aura, because I was born in Guwahati which is a city of Assam.

Now before proceeding further I would give a small description of Assam.

Assam is one of the beautiful states in entire North East of India. This state has a total of 33 districts . Assam has a population of approximately 35 million. Assam has lots of historical monuments and places and also it has some wonderful sites to visit. Assam became a state in 26 January 1950 and Dispur became the capital of Assam . This state is famous for its tea , for the world’s largest riverine island, that is Majuli , and for Bihu dance. River Brahmaputra which is also the only male river in the entire India and one of the longest river which flows in Assam. Now let me tell you about the historical places, national parks and other places of Assam where tourists from all over the world comes to visit these places.

1. Guwahati:- This is the biggest city of Assam where the capital of Assam, Dispur resides. Apart from that Guwahati has some of the biggest malls, restaurants, café, and luxury hotels. Guwahati has one of the biggest port of Assam that is Pandu Port where earlier ships use to come. Kamakhya temple is one of the famous temple in entire Assam as well as entire India where every day several devotees come to seek blessings of Maa Kamakhya. This is located in Nilachal hill and this temple is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Guwahati has some of the famous temple besides Kamakhya like, Umananda temple, Hanuman temple, Bhubaneswari Temple, Shukreswar temple, Basistha temple.

Besides temples, Guwahati has some most beautiful places to visit. Those are Srimanta Sankardeva Kalashetra , which is basically a art gallery where all historical things, artifacts and Assam’s culture are shown. Also Guwahati has Accoland which is water theme park and Assam State Zoo for kids & family. Now when it comes about food section, most of the people of Assam likes to eat Non- Veg like pork, fish, and duck but apart from that if you want to enjoy Assam authentic food then you must go for “Assamese Thali”. The rates of the restaurants in Guwahati are budget friendly. There are some restaurants whose prices are bit costly compare to others but from my personal experience I will recommend that those restaurants having low price serves better and tastier foods. Street foods are also available in entire Guwahati. There are a good number of hotels in Guwahati with affordable prices which helps the tourists to stay in budget friendly manner.

2. Kaziranga National Park:- I am pretty sure that maximum of the people who loves nature and wildlife knows about the world famous Kaziranga National Park . It is in Kanchanjuri, which falls under Nagaon district. This is a world heritage site and its covers an area of about 430 sq. km . As Assam is also famous for one horned rhino , these rhinos are seen in this park in large scale. Other than one horned rhinos , tigers , deers and other animals are also seen here. Throughout the year tourists visits Kaziranga to see this natural beauty. In Kaziranga , people can do jeep safari which starts from 7AM to 10 AM in the morning and again from 1PM to 4PM in the evening shift. There are basically four ranges in Kaziranga for jeep safari and they are Kohora, Bagori, Agaratoli, and Burapahar. The prices for Indian people starts from 3800 INR and for foreign people 7500 INR. The prices may vary in different ranges for jeep safari for both Indian and International tourists. There are resorts available and prices are approximately 4400 INR. Now for Elephant safari the Indian tourists have to pay about 900 INR with camera fees 100 INR & similarly for international tourists it is 1950 INR with camera fees 200 INR. Elephant safari starts in the morning for one hour. One shift is from 5AM, the second shift starts from 6AM and the last one in 7AM . The elephant safari is very interesting because the elephants will go through the jungle route and will take you to the dense forest. The difference between the jeep safari and elephant safari is that the elephant goes through the jungle route and jeep will go through kutcha road. I will personally recommend if you are planning to visit Assam then you should visit here. It takes 3 hours drive from Guwahati.

3. Manas National Park:- It is another largest national park in Assam . It has covers an area of 950 sq. km which is larger than Kaziranga National Park. Now the only difference between these tow parks is that in Kaziranga lots of tourists visits in compare to Manas. But in my opinion like Kaziranga , Manas is also that beautiful. It falls under Baksa district. It is also UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is famous for pygmy hog, hispid hare, roofed turtle and wild water buffalo. Also it has elephants and tigers. It is located in the Himalayan foothills and it is close to Bhutan border. Here you will enjoy jeep safari like Kaziranga National Park. The rates are based on half day and full day basis. For half day it is 2900 INR and whereas for full day 4900 INR. Besides this on accommodation section, hotels & resorts are available having average price of 3000 INR per night. These hotels and resorts are in exotic locations, some are in front of National Park and some are bit far from Park. Overall this place is very beautiful and it takes 3 hours drive from Guwahati. And I would personally suggest you to please visit Manas National Park.

4. Talatal Ghar, Sivasagar:- One of the most popular historical sites of Assam is Talatal Ghar. It is located in Rangpur, 4km away from Sivasagar in Upper Assam. It is basically a Tai Ahom Architecture. Ahom King Rudra Singha made this as his kingdom but later shifted to Rangpur and made their the capital . It was basically an army base initially . Having two tunnels and three floors below the ground, this place was use to have exit routes during Wars. This place is made of brick and sticky rice grain with swan eggs (which is mixed in order to make cement).Tourists visit this place a lot throughout the year. I would personally recommend to have a visit. It takes 8 hrs drive by road and 1 hr by flight and about 6 hrs by train. There are plenty of hotels in Sivasagar having minimum price of 1400 INR and highest about 2600 INR.

5.Majuli:- It is the first island district in India and also world largest riverine island. It takes about 1 hour to reach Majuli from Jorhat. This is an island with area having 880 sq km . It is having a population of approx. 167,304 people. It is basically Assam’s cultural place where it depicts the culture of Assamese peoples for over the 500 years. This island has temples of Sankardeva and it is very very beautiful island. Thousands and thousands of tourists from different parts of India and as well as from other parts of the world visits every year. Now when it comes to talk about accommodation , there are many hotels starting from 1,500 INR . There are some wonderful sites such as Nimati Ghat Road , Molai Forest Reserve , and Dakhinpat Satra. There are other places to visit in Majuli like Sri Sri Auniati Satra , Mokha and Samaguri Satra, Uttar Kamlabari Satra and Dikhow River. It is a much going place and I will recommend personally to visit this place once.

6. Haflong:- It is basically an hill station and a town of Dima Hasao district . It is also the district headquarter. Having an area of 12.79 sq km and population of nearly 47000 people , this place is known for its ethic natural beauty , greenery and mountains. It takes from Guwahati about 5 hours by train and about 7 hours by road. Compare to other places , in haflong tourists visits in less numbers. But I want to tell you from my personal experience visiting there is that it is a very soothing and beautiful place with natural aura. Staying here for 2 days is fruitful. Hotels in haflong are bit cheaper about 1500 INR with all the facilities and having good ambience. There are lots of places to visit here like Haflong Lake , Panimoor Waterfalls , Orchid Garden and also you can able to see the place in Jatinga where birds suicide . In all aspect I must say this is a worth visiting place for tourists and it is a safe place too.

7. Dibru Saikhowa, Dibrugarh:- Dibrugarh is one of the most historical places in entire Assam. This place is known for tea estates and industries. Dibrugarh is having a population of nearly 1 lacs. It takes about 10 to 12 hours by train and same as well for road also from Guwahati. The rates for the hotels are from 1,205 INR , however rates may vary from time to time. There are many places to visit in this town but among them is Dibru- Saikhowa National Park. It is basically a national park where you will be able to see many migratory birds and animals. Located near the river Brahmaputra, it is basically an island of area 350 sq km. The must visit place for tourists from all over the world. Some of the other places to visit is Dibrugarh Park, Durga Temple, Radha Krishna Mandir, Jokai Botanical Garden & Jagannath Temple .

Hello everyone today I am going to discuss about the most beautiful and popular destinations of all time in Europe. Now one might be thinking that in Europe almost all the places are beautiful and famous destinations. But the place which I will be discussing in this blog is about Switzerland.

Yes ! Switzerland , almost every year a huge number of tourists visit this beautiful hill station in the Europe. One of the most famous place with its natural aura . The only thing which attracts tourists to visit this place is the mountains covered with snow. In Switzerland , there are many beautiful places to visit including its capital Bern .

So here I will not only be discussing about its beauty only , but also about its accommodation, food and hotel rates.

1. Zurich:- Lying in the north end of the Switzerland , this place is having a population of about 5 lacs people. With amidst beauty and aura this place is banking and financial capital of Switzerland.

Here you can visit Old town , Museums and also can visit Churches. In the evening time you can explore the nightlife of Switzerland and also you can do some shopping. Like you can visit Grossmunster, Swiss National Museum, and Framunster Church.

Accomodation and Food: Hotels having different rates starting from Rs. 4900(USD $65.44) per person. There are different types of hotels having different price range . If someone is a bagpacker and wants to stay in youth hostels instead of hotels then the lowest price is Rs. 4929(USD $65.83) per person . Mind you the prices for both the hostels and hotels are charged according to per night.In Zurich , there wont be any problem for the people travelling from all over the world. Specially for the people who loves Indian food, there are lots of restaurants in Zurich. My recommendation would be to atleast stay here for 2 days if you are travelling to Switzerland for 1 week. There are free wifi services in the hostels and hotels.

2. Bern:- The Capital of Switzerland is very very beautiful and having some wonderful destinations like The Cathedral of Bern, Bear Pit, Zytglogge , and UNESCO Von Bern.

Accomodation and Food: Here the rates for the hotels are a bit costlier in compare to Zurich , however it depends on the season that the rates may differ. But the minimum price is Rs. 6,800(USD $ 90.82). The rates for youth hostels price is around Rs. 7000 (USD $93.49)per night with Wifi services(both in hotels and hostels). In food section there will not be any problem just like Zurich because there are lots and lost of restaurants . Indian food is also available for Indians and all Indian food lovers with different budget restaurants.

3. Schaffhausen:- This place comes to the mind when you think of travelling to Switzerland. The places that you can think of to visit are like Rhine falls, Museums, Munot Club and other places.

Accomodation and Food: The hotels are in Schaffhausen are bit costlier in compare to Zurich starting from Rs 7000(USD $93.49) per night. However there may be ups and downs in rate. Youth hostels are also having the same price range. There are many budget friendly restaurants having different cuisines including Indian Food. Wifi is also available in both hostels and hotels.

4. Engelberg:- Very famous place known for Mt. Titlis . You can visit Mt. Titlis , Titlis Cliff walk , Stanserhorn, Ice Flyer, Susten Pass. It’s a small but beautiful village having a population nearly 4000 people.

Accomodation and Food: Hotels and Youth Hostels are having different range having Rs 8,744 (USD $ 116.78)and Rs. 7,840(USD $104.70) respectively per night. There are different hotels and youth hostels in different locations. When it comes to food part then you need not to worry about because there are restaurants in

Engelberg and including Indian food also. The hotels and restaurants and the Youth hostels are having wifi facility.

Hello guys …. In this blog I will be going to discuss about a different tourist destination in Europe. Almost all the places like Germany, France, Italy and other big tourist attractions are known to us , but the destination which I will discuss, that may be not known to some peoples.

So I am going to discuss about Liechtenstein….

Liechtenstein is probably the smallest country after Vatican City in Europe. This country falls between Austria and Switzerland. Having population of nearly 39000 people ,this country’s area is about 160km sq. Its capital is Vaduz and its currency Swiss Franc. This country though small but it has some exotic, soothing locations and the mountains for the tourists coming from around the world.

Here are some of its places that I personally feel that one should visit….

Vaduz: The capital of the country having some most beautiful spots for tourists to visit. Specially one will be able to enjoy visiting castles and museums and other historical places.

Malbun: It is another destination for tourists where one can stay in Ski resorts , do skiing , hiking and sledding. As this place is covered with mountains so people can do skiing and other ice activites in winters.

Balzers: This place has castles to visit just like Vaduz but also it has some activites like hiking and skateboarding. Tourists can enjoy this place also and it is in my recommendation list.

Triesen: If you are fond of camping and want to pass nights under the nature then this place might suit your choice. Covered with mountains and landscapes Triesen is another destination that tourist should visit in order to experience camping. Apart from that there are art galleries for those people who love paintings and sketches.

So therefore Leichtenstein is a very very good destination for tourists around the world. I would personally recommend to the people to please visit the place and make it more and more famous destination than earlier what it was, because this place is though small but it has some of the best spots that tourists will enjoy .

Hello guys …. As in the previous blogs of Europe, I have shown you about the various places of Europe but today I will be discussing one of the best places of Europe and which is one of my favourite amongst them.

Today I will be discussing about Greece , what to do, where to visit and which places are the best to visit during short span of time.

Greece is one of the most popular and beautiful island destinations of all time. Throughout the year many tourists from different parts of the world comes to visit Greece, as this is one of the most historic and romantic places in the world.

Now if someone wishes to visit Greece with having short span of time then this blog might be helpful for them. Here is a list of the places that I will personally recommend to visit.

Athens:- It is the capital of Greece. Also it is the most largest city in Greece and it is very safe place to travel. A lot of tourists loves to visit Athens for its natural beauty and historical monuments. If you are eager to visit Greece then you must stay Athens for atleast 3 days. Here you will be able to visit Acropolis of Athens, Parthenon, Acropolis Museum , National Museum . Besides that there are several other destinations to visit in Athens if you have time .

Santorini:- It is one of the most famous island destination in Aegean Sea. Devastated by a volcanic eruption in 16^th century BC. Having an area of 76.19km sq this place has a lot of beautiful spots for clicking pictures. There are many houses all the houses are made of volcanic dust and igneous rock. Tourist from all over the world visits here. One can stay there as there are various good no of places to stay.

Dodecanese Islands:- This island is in the Aegean sea’s Southern part. This place is basically group of islands having castles , churches and several other archaeological sites. Several tourists from all over the world visit to witness it aura, beauty and beaches. This place is about 2,714km sq. Accomodations are available in different rates that is budgetable. There are hotels available in this islands. A must recommendable place to visit.

Archaeological Site of Olympia:- Archaeological site of Olympia is rather another most famous historical places in Greece where earlier Olympic games were hosted. This place is a major attraction for tourists. This place is established at 8^th century B.C . It has walls made of stones and also having giant pillars. I will personally recommend this place to visit.

MY FAVOURITE BEACHES AND ISLANDS IN THE WORLD......

Today in this blog i am going to give a brief about my favourite beaches and islands in the world.

Beaches and Islands when it comes to mind the scenery of beautiful islands with white sands and blue sea picturises in our mind automatically and that makes us excite to visit those destinations.

No doubt that all the beaches and islands are very beautiful and soothing with exotic vibes.

But here i am going to discuss about some of my favourite beaches in the world.

Every beaches has its own natural beauty and aura.

ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS :- It is situated in the Bay of Bengal. There are 300 islands in this union territory of India. Tourists from all over the world enjoys a lot of its vibes as they visit throughout the year. These islands have mangroves , palm trees and white sands for which they are known for.

BAHAMAS:- It is a country situated in Caribbean, lies in the Lucayan Archipelago. Lots and lots of tourists visits there and also my favourite among them. Almost every country in the Caribbean are having exotic locations and scenic vibes, but this is one of them.

BORA BORA:- One of the most beautiful with scenic vibes of mountains beaches and volcanoes , this place of French Polynesia makes a tourist destination. Tourists from over the world visits this destination. This place is famous for its scuba diving and other activities. It has resorts over the sea area. Most beautiful place I have ever seen.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC:- It is another famous and popular country in the Caribbean. One of the most famous destination for tourists. This country is famous for its golfing , resorts and moreover for its beautiful beaches having white sands . Most recommendable place for tourists.

GOA:- If thinking to visit India then without visiting Goa will be a incomplete trip because its vibes are such soothing that one cannot go back to home without visiting. Goa is one of the top best destinations for tourist all over the world. Many tourists throughout the year visits Goa for its natural beauty and mind blowing beaches. A place where once Portuguese made their settlement during 1510. Must recommendable destination for tourists.

HAWAII:- Located in the Pacific Ocean, Hawaii is one of the popular state in the USA having several first class destinations. The only state in North America to have 137 islands. One should visit this place because if you are planning to visit US then it is a must go to destination for a family holiday.

MALDIVES:- Maldives is a small island nation in South Asia situated in the southwest of Sri Lanka and India. Male is the capital of the country . It has several beaches and some of its resorts are actually over the sea itself. Tourists from all the world visits every year. It stretches over 700km .Very much beautiful location to visit with your family.

MAURITIUS:- A island nation situated in the Indian ocean in the East Africa with nearly 13 lakhs population. Different religious people lives there. Apart from that its beaches and exotic mountain ranges makes this country more special for the tourists from all over the world. My one of the personal favourite places .

SEYCHELLES:- Another island nation situated in the Indian Ocean having 115 islands. Seychelles is one of the most popular destination apart from Mauritius and Maldives . Tourists from all over the world visit here in a very large scale. My personal recommendation is to visit with your family.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO:- This country from the Caribbean has a lots of traditions and cuisines, and soca music. Apart from that Trinidad and Tobago is also famous for its beaches and mountains. Tourists from all over the world can visit there for a family holiday to spent some quality time as per my recommendation.

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE IN MALAYSIA....

Hello guys! , this is my Blog …. So here I am going to share my first travel experience outside India….

Malaysia , a very very beautiful country itself. A perfect place for tourist to spend their good times with their family. Its capital Kuala Lumpur has a vast number of tourist attractions. I started my journey with my family from Kolkata around 12PM . Because I prefer to travel at night to international destinations. So after 4 hours of long journey I finally made into capital of Malaysia on the next day around 7AM. From the airport after all formalities I headed straight away to the hotel.

On the first day, after breakfast around 10AM we went to see the famous twin tower. Earlier we used to study only in books about this famous tower but now when I visited, it looks too tall… trust me you will fall in love . As we know that in Malaysia rainfall happens anytime. The top of the tower was covered with clouds. After that we went to see coffee factory to see how they make coffee from cocoa seed. We ended that day by seeing the nightlife of Kuala Lumpur while walking around in the streets. Trust me it is very safe walking in the streets in the night.

On the very second day , We went to visit the King’s Palace. We saw from the outside i.e standing in front of the gate of the Palace . The Palace was so beautiful and its dome was attractive mainly because all of the dome was plated with gold. This Palace is called Istana Negara. In front of the gate there were many guards and horses. Each and every tourist was clicking photos. Then we went to visit National Museum of Kuala Lumpur. Trust me so beautiful museum it was from inside and outside as well. Many tourist visits there. This museum has a lot of resources which depicts the history of Malaysia. After this we had my lunch and went back to the hotel. Evening was leisure . In the leisure time people actually goes for some shopping. We decided to have walk around the city in the evening as the city looks even more pretty in that time.

On the very third day, as it was our last day in the Kuala Lumpur so we decided to have a quick city tour . We saw several markets shopping malls and other shops. We saw some chocolate shops on our way to airport … purchased some chocolates and sweets . These chocolates were so tasty as I heard before going there. Then we visited some more shops to buy some other stuffs and then finally we headed to the airport to catch our flight.

FRENCH POLYNESIA

Today in this blog I am going to discuss about a very very beautiful, soothing and gorgeous place where one can feel like heaven once he/she reaches there.

People who have fond to travelling to island destinations and loves to go around the beaches then for them this blog will be helpful for them because toady I am going to talk about French Polynesia.

Honestly speaking guys, I am a beach and island lover personally and I love to travel this type of destinations a lot.

French Polynesia is basically an island destination having about 280,908 population having 100 islands and is made of 118 volcanic islands. It stretches about 2000 km in the South Pacific. It lies in the Oceania continent. Its capital is Papeete .

Bora Bora, Tahiti, Mo’oera are some of the popular destinations apart from its capital Papeete.

Other several islands are also there where tourists travel but these four are top of them. This destinations have a lot of sceneic views of beaches as well as mountains. Here the vibes are so soothing that one can say that its like heaven. I have seen beaches and island destinations but for me this is the only place where in future I would love to travel atleast once. My recommendations are about this place is that one should visit this place at least for 1 week with family because everyone can will able to enjoy and will able to feel its aura. Such a natural place to visit during holidays is recommendable. It would take a duration of 24hrs of flight atleast to reach this place. Some of the best places of french polynesia are:-

1.Bora Bora Island:-

Bora Bora island is the famous island in French Polynesia for its scuba diving and beaches. A lot of tourists thinks to visit this place when it comes to mind about going to French Polynesia.
2. Tahiti:-
Tahiti is the another major destination for tourists in the French Polynesia. It has lots of beaches and mountains with volcano mountains. Scenic vibes can be enjoyed by one who visits there. Best for family visit.

3.Papeete:- The capital of French Polynesia famous for it scenic vibes, ports, beaches and mountains. This place has a population of approx 25000 people . It has a major tourists attractions in the form of beaches, mountains and landcapes . Also it has a market where one wishes to purchase. The currency of this island country i.e French Polynesia is CFP FRANC.
Among them there are many places but these are the most beautiful and famous destination for tourists. If one having tour plan of more than 1 week then other places can also be covered.

About accomodations , I would say that there are lots of resorts and hotels having different rates according to different people with Wifi access, Pools and etc…

There are variety of restaurants in this island destination having different cuisines. For Indian peoples there are lots of Indian restaurants &flight tickets are also quite affordable. Atleast for a week one can cover most of the spots in this beautiful island.

Apart from all the aspects I would say that this place is very much tourist visiting destination and I will recommend that in summer time one should visit this amazing destination.

Portugal, a small island nation in the southern part of Europe. This place is highly recommended from my side because of the beautiful beaches and scenic views. Besides that some famous spots like Belem Tower, Castelo de S. Jorge , Praca do Comercio, Cabo da Roca are such places to visit with your family. Some of the famous places like Lisbon(Capital of Portugal), Porto are major tourist attractions. If you are a beach or island lover then this is the best place for your visit.

SPAIN:

Another wonderful beach destination to visit with your family. Every year lots of tourists visits here. One of the best places to spend some quality time with family. This place has a lot of scenic views and beaches. Some of the best places where tourist visit usually are Ibiza, Barcelona, Costa del Sol and La Sagrada Familia. But if you are going to stay here for a week then there are some more places to visit in Spain like Royal Palace of Madrid, Plaza Mayor, Costa Blanca and ,many more. I will definitely recommend to visit Spain during summer time.

GREECE:

When it comes to visit Greece the only thing that's going in my mind is the beaches, islands, monuments and all the historical places. Greece is one of the best among all the island destinations. Greece is one of my dream places too. Its vibes and islands when one will see he or she will never forget. Greece is also one of the romantic places for couples too. But apart from that family can also visit there and I personally recommend it. Athens, Santorini are the best places to visit. ITALY:

Italy is also one of the famous place for its romantic places and as well as from the prospect of historical background. Venice , Milan, Naples, Florence are some of the famous places. Also it the place where Opera is originated. Colosseum, Cathedral, leaning tower of Pisa, and lot more. Several tourists from all over the world visits Italy. Tourists also visits to Venice for its natural views and Gondola ride.

THOUGHTS ON TRAVELLING TO THAILAND(Part 1:Pattaya)

Hello guys....

In this blog I am going to give a brief idea about how to visit Thailand and which are the places that tourists should visit.

Thailand ,a very beautiful country which is very famous for its beaches, its natural views and also for its awesome cuisines.

Almost everyone in the entire world visits Thailand for its cheap rates, as Thailand is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the entire South East Asia.

The Thailand blog will be of two parts :first one about Bangkok and the second one for Pattaya.

In this blog I will be sharing my recommendations and experiences about Bangkok.

There are various places to visit in Bangkok , but if someone is visiting Bangkok for just 2 to 3 days then there some good places and spots that you can visit during your short trip.

Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand. The capital city itself has many beautiful places to visit. But if you have short amount of time then you can visit the places like:

Wat Arun (Temple of the dawn): This temple is situated on the west bank of Chao Phraya river .

This temple looks stunning in the sunset time. One can wish to visit this temple which is itself in the city during morning or at the time of sunset.

Grand palace:-

If you have interest in visiting historical monuments or palaces then Grand palace is the best to visit. Around 8.30AM it gets opened till 3.30PM . I think if you are staying in Bangkok for atleast 2 days then it is a must visit place.

Lumphini Park:-

If you are a nature lover and want to do boating and relaxing then this might be the best option for you. It is situated in the city itself . It is a state park in Bangkok. Lots and lots of tourists visits here. It has an artificial lake where you can go for boating. I personally recommend this place especially for those who are visiting Bangkok for 2 to 3 days.

Floating Markets:- If you have some spare time and also if you are done with all the visits in Bangkok then floating markets are the best option to visit. If you are looking for doing marketing and want to experience then it is the best place. Although there are total of 17 floating markets in entire Bangkok and also it includes various kinds of items in cheap rate. I will definitely recommend this place personally. Although Pattaya floating market is the famous among them, I will discuss about Pattaya in my 2nd part of the Thailand blog.

When it comes to travelling in Asia with good attractions and scenic beauty and famous beaches, then Singapore might be the best place for one meeting those above criteria. One can enjoy its beauty with mix aura of European and Asian culture. As per my experience , it is a very good place for children too. As there are many activites for kids to cherish every bit of their moment. Some of the 5 best and famous places of Singapore that one can visit:-

1. Merlion Statue:-

One of the most popular destinations in Singapore..... A lot of tourists visit there. Basically Merlion is the mythical creature of lion's head and fish's body. It is situated near Central Business district. It is established in the year 2002. There are all total of seven merlion statues in the entire Singapore. The sight where this is situated is very soothing. I personally enjoyed the view. If one wishes to visit Singapore then he or she must include this sight into their bucket list.

2. Sentosa Island:- It is one of the most exciting places that one wishes to visit. A very nice sight to spend some quality time with family and childrens. This island has a lot of sea beaches, hotels, events for childrens and lot more. During my Singapore visit I kept one whole day for Sentosa island. This place is really really so beautiful that I got lost into its aura, its beauty.

3. Botanic Gardens in Singapore:-

Those who love to see natural beauty especially greenery, then Botanical garden might be the best choice for them in Singapore.
This place is 161 years old. It is honoured as UNESCO World heritage site. A lot of tourists visits this place from different parts of the globe. I personally recommend everyone who wishes to visit Singapore must do check out this place. This place looks awesome and beautiful both from outside as well as from inside. One will fall in love with the inner structure of this botanical garden.

4. Universal Studio:-

It is basically a theme oark located in the Sentosa islands. It has a total of 28 different rides and has different attractions. It also has shows. It is one of the most popular place for tourists especially for the kids. Here you can enjoy a lots of rides, you will enjoy the shows. Apart from that you can do shopping as well as dining. Street entertainment and meet and greet is done here as well. Overall my personal opinion is that you should visit this place once.

5. Singapore Zoo:-

Singapore zoo earlier known as Mandai Zoo is one of the famous zoo in the entire Singapore. Here lots of activites that tourists coming from different parts of the world can do. Starting from tram ride , Splash safari, shows, fragile forest etc and lots of activities to do. Here a variety of wild animals and other species are there. From old turtles to white lion this zoo is famous for Komado dragon. Children especially enjoy seeing the animals. Also this is one of the famous tourist site.

Apart from these five places there are many places. As I have visited Singapore, it is so beautiful that it became one of my favourite destinations in Asia. From my personal experience if one wishes to see all the famous places there, then I would suggest to stay there for atleast 1 week to explore nicely. The people of Singapore are very much loyal and very friendly and they give very nice hospitality.

When it comes about food and shopping, I will say that tourists will good taste over there. The food is so tasty . I liked the cusines during my stay . I tasted almost different types of food and snacks. And for shopping , there are different types of malls and shops for tourists to shop. One of them is Bugis , a very famous mall where one can get best products at an affordable price. At last I would say this is the best place for tourists to visit with their family in holidays. I have really enjoyed this place a lot and I wish in near future to travel once again.
