The second annual Atlanta Food & Wine Festival is coming up May 10-13. Once again food lovers and chefs from around the Southeast and beyond will pour into the ATL for a weekend of good eats and drinks and an all 'round celebration of, natch, food & wine!

There is too much going on during the festival to mention in just one post, so for today, let's focus on your dinner options.

Spring means strawberries, and music aficionado/angry chef Ron Eyester is celebrating with three nights of a la carte strawberry inspired dishes at Rosebud. Naturally, many of the ingredients are being sourced from local farms such as Woodland Gardens and D&A Farm.

The Underground Market Atlanta Nosh launched this weekend in its new legit incarnation at Atlantic Station. It was a perfect, albeit hot, day for some gluttony! The Mr. and I are on a healthy eating plan right now, and we saved up all of our splurging for Sunday, and man oh man was it worth it.

When someone invites you to an ice cream tasting, you go. So it was with eager anticipation of an ice cream bacchanal, that I headed over to Hal's Kitchen Cooking School for a Blue Bell media event.

Alas, we didn't get to tuck straight into the creamy treats. We instead began with a hokey but informative video on Blue Bell's storied history. Brenham Creamery began producing ice cream in 1917

The Mr. and I are about to visit friends in DC, so this dining itinerary from my brother Adam is quite timely. As a kid when I visited DC, I was always wowed by its ethnic food. It's the first place I ever tried Ethiopian or Thai. Now DC is chock full of of hip restaurants. Looking forward to some good food with good friends. Thanks for the scoop, little

Back in January 2011, Adventurous Tastes was the first to bring you scoop on the Atlanta Underground Market. Since then Michaela Graham's events have grown to be one of the most exciting things going in Atlanta's food scene. Atlanta Underground Market was pure bliss for curious food-lovers with everything from Filipino empanadas to Senegalese french toast to

This weekend is a celebration bonanza...Passover begins tonight, Easter is on Sunday, and for many, it's Spring Break!

We're about to head to the burbs for the family Passover dinner, but before we go, a few links to learn more about Passover dining. For me at least, Passover is the best Jewish holiday.
