Today what about training Tsonga with your tweets ?

A nice initiative by BNP Paribas, the French bank which celebrates the 40th anniversary of its partnership with Roland-Garros. It gives you the opportunity to train Jo-Wilfried Tsonga before he starts the French Open tennis tournament, via Twitter. If your tweets are selected, they will command a robot to throw balls to Tsonga with the location, power and effect you chose.

Coke just launched their ‘Small World Machines’ which are aimed at creating simple moments of happiness between two nations at odds – India and Pakistan. They bring a live touch screen experience to the normal vending machines, letting Indians and Pakistanis interact with and engage across country borders. Very touching indeed.

As you would expect, interacting with your counterpart from the other country resulted in a free can of Coke for both. Interestingly, the whole experience was teased in March, with a sort of Making Of:

Heineken is making the most of their UEFA CHampions League sponsorship with this ‘hidden camera’ film. Can you convince your girlfriend or wife that you absolutely, positively NEED those red plastic stadium seats in your home?

Fanta drink “Saving the Source” combines storytelling and gaming to create a long-form playable HTML5 graphic novel. Games and Easter eggs are woven into the game that can be played on any device. It’s kinda fun but heavy loading. Not sure I have the time for heavy loading sites that deliver such simple games and return. What do you think? Here is the link to the site

You might remember the viral hit with stock shots forming an animation called ‘From Love to Bingo’? Here is the follow up, called ’85 Seconds’ which tells the love story of a couple who meet as children, separate after graduation and after some time reunite as adults.

Jane Fonda would be proud of these cats. Planks, abs crunches, leg lifts, you name it. Work it Kitty offers a full aerobics routine to get your cat back in shape. I’m not a cat lover, and this is probably the first Web video I’ve ever watched featuring cats doing silly things, but I must say it’s hilarious. 80s music and improbable vintage outfits are the perfect mix for this original idea to promote cat’s food brand Temptations Cat Treats. Make sure to check out the downloads sections as well, you can find quite a few goodies there, including a set of animated GIFs.

This being said, the campaign has been out there for a couple of weeks now (yep, ouch we are a bit late with this!) but the video has only half a million views. Unusual disappointing result given the viral potential of the content. I wonder if and how the slow intro to the video (38 seconds before the music video actually starts) is affecting its performance.

Speed dating is meant to be thrilling: mystery, curiosity, a touch of adrenaline. Well, Renault combined these three elements to create an unusual and quite extreme test-driving experience. Caroline is not just a girl looking to try out speed dating. She’s also a professional stunt driver, she drives a Renault Clio, and she has her very own idea of “speed” dating. The result is pretty amusing, and for sure the men who went for a drive with her will not forget her and, hopefully will also remember the car they were in.
