Peggy started Advice from a Caterpillar in October 2007 and continued to gather and publish important information for Writers.  This blog will remain accessible as the information on it may be useful.

Writing was Peggy’s passion.  Whether it was this blog, her blog From the Styx, the West Elk Trails blog, her novels, as a writer for Children’s Magic Window, or a note to a friend, Peggy strove for the right words for the moment.  She left us too soon, but her spirit lives on through her good works. 

Thank you, readers, as you were the people she felt connected to and she wanted to share news and information she came across.

Founded in 2020, Fractured Mirror Publishing is an all-female owned, independent press that focuses on speculative fiction for YA and adult audiences. They are located in Knoxville, TN. Established in 2018, époque press is an independent publisher seeking new voices who represent the best in literary fiction. They have offices in Brighton, Dublin, and New York. They accept novels and of short story collections.
