Sujud Sahwi

Sujud sahwi artinya sujud kerana terlupa mengerjakan sesuatu yang sunnah atau hal yang salah lainnya tanpa sengaja. Umpamanya lupa mengerjakan tahiyyat awal, lupa membaca ayat atau surat pada rakaat pertama atau kedua, lupa tentang bilangan solat dan sebagainya. Menurut Al Gazhali, empat hal yang dapat digantikan dengan melakukan sujud sahwi tersebut yaitu satu di antaranya termasuk perbuatan dan tiga lainnya termasuk bacaan.

Yang termasuk perbuatan ialah duduk (setelah dua kali sujud pada rakaat kedua solat Zhuhur, Asar, Maghrib dan Isya’) untuk membaca tasyahud. Duduk seperti ini berpengaruh pada susunan bentuk solat bagi siapa yang menyaksikannya. Sebab, dengan itu, dapat diketahui apakah solat tersebut ruba’iyyah (terdiri atas empat rakaat) atau bukan. Tidak seperti sunnah mengangkat tangan ketika takbir, misalnya, sebab hal itu tidak mempengaruhi susunan bentuk solat. Itu pula sebabnya, sunnah ini (yakni duduk untuk tasyahud pertama) disebut ba’dh (kata tunggal dari ab’adh) yang bererti bagian. Apabila seseorang tidak mengerjakan ab’adh, dianjurkan dengan sangat agar ia menggantinya dengan sujud sahwi.

Adapun bacaan-bacaan sunnah dalam solat, semuanya tidak digantikan dengan sujud sahwi, kecuali tiga (yaitu yang termasuk ab’adh):

1. Qunut
2. Bacaan tasyahud pertama
3. Salawat untuk Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. pada tasyahud pertama.

Tidak termasuk di dalamnya takbir-takbir perpindahan (dari satu ruku ke ruku lainnya), bacaan-bacaan dalam ruku, sujud dan i’tidal dari kedua-duanya. Hal ini disebabkan ruku dan sujud adalah gerakan yang memiliki bentuk khas, berbeda dengan gerakan-gerakan biasa. Dengan mengerjakannya, dapat diperoleh makna ibadah, walaupun tanpa membaca zikir apa pun dan tanpa takbir-takbir perpindahan. Tanpa zikir-zikir itu pun, bentuk ibadah shalat – dengan melakukan gerakan ruku’ dan sujud – tetap tidak akan batal atau hilang. Lain halnya dengan duduk untuk bertasyahud pertama. Ia tadinya merupakan gerakan biasa (yakni, yang juga dilakukan di luar solat). Tetapi, kini, sengaja diperpanjang untuk diisi dengan bacaan tasyahud. Maka, meninggalkannya akan menimbulkan perubahan cukup besar dalam susunan bentuk solat.

Sebaliknya, meninggalkan bacaan doa istiftah, atau pun surah, tidak menimbulkan perubahan, mengingat bahawa rukun berdiri dalam solat telah cukup diisi dengan bacaan Al Fatihah, sehingga dapat dibezakan dengan berdiri secara biasa. Dengan alasan itu pula, bacaan doa setelah tasyahud terakhir tidak digantikan dengan sujud sahwi.

Bacaan qunut pun, pada dasarnya, tidak layak digantikan dengan sujud sahwi, namun, disyariatkannya perpanjangan ruku i’tidal, pada solat Subuh, adalah semata-mata untuk diisi dengan bacaan do’a qunut itu. Maka, sama halnya seperti rukun duduk untuk tasyahud pertama. Ia adalah perpanjangan dari duduk istirahat, guna diisi dengan bacaan tasyahud.

Cara melakukan Sujud Sahwi

Sujud sahwi dilakukan pada penghujung rakaat yang terakhir, yaitu sesudah tahiyyat dan sebelum salam. Bersujud sambil mengucapkan “Allaahu Akbar” dan dalam sujud membaca:

Subhaanalladzi laa yanaamu walaa yansaa (3x)

“Maha suci Allah yang tidak pernah tidur dan tidak pernah lupa”

Bila yang terlupakan itu salah satu rukun soalat, yang tidak bisa dibetulkan seketika, maka solatnya tidak sah, dan solatnya harus diulang kembali. Tetapi bila yang terlupakan itu rakaat, misalnya solat Isya yang mestinya 4 rakaat , hanya 3 rakaat, maka sesudah memberi salam, tanpa diselingi dengan atau perbuatan lain, segeralah ia berdiri dan tambahlah rakaat yang tertinggal itu. Rakaat tersebut tetap diawali dengan takbiratul ihram dan diakhiri dengan salam, kemudian anda lengkapi dengan sujud sahwi.

Bila di dalam solat timbul keraguan tentang jumlah rakaat maka ambillah jumlah rakaat yang sedikit lalu yakinlah dengan itu (Misalnya bila kita lupa apakah sudah empat rakaat atau baru tiga rakaat, maka ambilah keputusan bahawa itu rakaat yang ketiga. Lalu lanjutkan solat dan tambahkan yang kurang).

Cadillac Aera and smart 454 WWT take top prize in the LA Design Challenge

The LA Design Challenge is one of the unquestioned highlights of the LA Auto Show with different automakers showing off their newly-designed concepts that are made based on a “theme” set by the organizers.

This year, the theme was “addressing society’s shift toward minimizing consumption of the earth’s resources by envisioning an efficient, light-weight, four passenger vehicle with a weight limit of 1,000 lbs that is both comfortable and safe, while delivering satisfactory driving performance without sacrificing the styling consumers demand."

Turns out, when it came time to decide on a winner, the judges had such a hard time picking between the Cadillac Aera Concept and the Smart 454 WWT Concept that they just decided to award the top prize to the two cars.

According to the judges, picking a winner was about as hard as it has been in recent years considering the quality of work that was entered. "Deciding this year’s Design Challenge winner was a tremendously difficult decision as the quality of entries has increased throughout the years," the Design Los Angeles judges said. "This year’s winners – the Cadillac Aera and the smart 454 WWT – offer two very different visions of the 1,000 lb. Car, yet are equally as amazing. They are both very expressive of their brand; GM is art and science and smart is playful and fun."

Two winners, huh? Can’t say we saw that coming. While we did think that the Aera was a front-runner, we didn’t expect the smart 454 WWT to actually go home with equal-billing in the top step of the podium.

Today, a tie was announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show’s 2010 Design Challenge. After much deliberation, the judges selected the Cadillac Aera and smart 454 WWT as the two well-deserved winners. The designs were selected for their comfort, safety and driving performance – without sacrificing the styling consumers demand. This year’s theme challenged automotive design studios to envision a four-passenger, 1,000 lb. Car.)

The Cadillac Aera 2+2 touring coupe utilizes a polyhedral, 3D lattice, mono-formed frame with a flexible pressurized polymer skin to optimize weight, aerodynamics and safety. The smart 454 features a chassis "knit" by high-tech robots out of carbon fibre, optimizing flexibility and strength.

Entries were judged by multi-discipline design professionals who selected the winner based upon not only meeting the weight constraint (1,500 lbs. maximum with occupants), but also for the artistic beauty, comfort, uniqueness of design, roadworthiness, sustainability, performance and user-friendliness of the vehicle. All of the entries for the 1,000 lb. Car delivered imaginative and detailed design stories.

The Design Challenge has become a highly anticipated competition where auto manufacturers’ Southern California design studios battle against each other to flex their creativity. Designers enjoy participating in the challenge because it is a strong venue to showcase their talents and further explore new ideas in automotive design.

2011 Nissan NISMO 370Z

The Nismo 370Z is still a child in terms of lifespan with the first model coming into the picture in 2009, so the idea of the 370Z strolling into the 2011MY with an abundance of additions is pretty naive. Instead, and not unexpected, the Nismo 370Z comes back with next to nothing altered. It still carries the same 350 HP V6 engine, racing-inspired exterior and interior styling, a specially tuned suspension, and unique super-lightweight forged alloy wheels. However, Nissan is offering one new exterior color: Gun Metallic.

As we have already mentioned, the 2011 Nissan Nismo 370Z will have a 3.7-liter VQ-series V6 engine that delivers a total of 350hp at 7,400 rpm with 276 lbs of torque at 5,200 rpm. This allows the Nismo Z to hit a top speed of 155mph (electronically limited). The engine is mated to a close-ratio 6-speed manual with Nissan’s “SynchroRev Match” synchronized downshift rev matching system.

The look of the Nismo will stay the same with its extended front nose, integrated chin spoiler, special side sills, unique rear bumper, and functional rear spoiler. The interior includes Nismo logo seats with black and red fabric and red stitching, a Nismo tachometer, steering wheel with smooth leather and red parallel stitching, smooth leather wrapped shift knob and aluminum trimmed pedals. The VVEL system helps optimize intake valve open/close movements, allowing the needed air to be sent promptly to the combustion chamber at the precisely optimized time.

For its use in the NISMO 370Z, the 3.7-liter VQ-series V6 produces 350 hp @ 7,400 rpm and 276 lb-ft of torque @ 5,200 rpm. The NISMO Z®’s enhanced engine power and acceleration is provided through use of an exclusive H-configured exhaust system design and muffler tuning, along with optimized ECM (Engine Computer Module) control. The NISMO 370Z is offered with only one transmission, a close-ratio 6-speed manual with Nissan’s “SynchroRev Match” synchronized downshift rev matching system.

The “SynchroRev Match” function automatically controls and adjusts engine speed when shifting to the speed of the next gear position, essentially “blipping” the throttle to smooth out any up/down shifts. This not only allows the driver to focus more on braking and steering, it improves the smoothness of gear shifts by reducing the typical “shock” when the clutch is engaged. The system can be deactivated with a button next to the shifter for drivers who prefer to shift on their own.

The NISMO 370Z features a tight, rigid body structure with a strut tower bar brace and a pair of performance dampers, which quickly and efficiently react to help control body vibrations from road input via the tires, contributing to the NISMO 370Z’s outstanding handling and performance feel.

The NISMO Z®’s double-wishbone front/4-link rear suspension design suspension is specially tuned for exceptional handling. Compared to a standard Nissan 370Z Coupe, front spring rates have been dialed up 15%, rear spring rates 10%, front stabilizer bar rate upped 15% and the rear stabilizer bar is 50% stiffer. The roll stiffness rate has been increased by 15% and front and rear damping factors have been increased by 40% and 140% respectively.

The NISMO 370Z rides on unique 5-spoke Nissan-branded 19-inch RAYS forged aluminum-alloy wheels (19x9.5-inch front, 19x10.5-inch rear) mounted with Yokohama ADVAN Sport Y-rated high-performance tires (P245/40ZR19 front, P285/35ZR19 rear).

Bringing the NISMO 370Z to a stop are standard NISMO Sport Brakes with large diameter 14.0-inch front and 13.8-inch rear vented rotors with 4-piston front and 2¬piston rear aluminum calipers. The braking system also includes a variable ratio brake pedal for a more direct pedal stroke feel, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). A Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD) is standard on all NISMO 370Zs, along with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC).

Responsive steering is provided by a vehicle-speed-sensitive power-assisted rack-and-pinion design. Unwanted steering kickback and vibrations are reduced with the use of a solenoid valve that acts like a damper when there is a harsh impact load.

The Competition

If you take a short look on the official Nissan USA web page you’ll see that the Nismo 370Z targets models like Chevrolet Corvette, Mazda RX-8 R3 or BMW 335 i Coupe. One think we do not agree with: the Nismo 370Z can’t compete with the Corvette, after all won’t be a fair fight: the Nismo 370Z is priced below $40k, the Corvette goes up to $48k, but that’s not really a problem. The real problem in the horse power under the hood: 350 HP vs. 430 HP.

As for the RX-8 R3 and 335i, what would you choose between those two and the Nismo 370Z? Don’t know about you, but we will go for the 370Z. Why? It looks more aggressive and its sportier than the other two.

2013 BMW Project i Coupe

BMW’s supercar, the M1, was sold between 1978 to 1981 as the only mid-engined BMW to be mass produced. But you’d expect more from a maker like BMW, right? And with all the competition on the market, BMW had to do something about it, so they decided to put the Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show into production.

It’s not the first time we hear about the possibility of the Vision Efficient Dynamics going into production, but today we have more details about the production version rumored to be called the Project i Coupe. And while the concept is powered by a three cylinder turbo diesel power plant combined with two electric motors, the Project i Coupe will be offered in both electric and hybrid versions.

Rumors suggest that the Project i Coupe won’t be flying solo as BMW may be panning on an M version for this future model and it will most likely be called the M1.

Exterior and Interior

When BMW first announced it’s plans to put the Vision Efficient Dynamics into production, a company source said: "there will be less of the synthetic glass and more solid structure added to the final design." How can this be translated? A carbon fiber chassis and an exterior design that will be more road oriented.

The car’s front will be defined by the now famous kidney grille and two large air intakes. The gullwing doors will be replaced by standard ones and the rear will get a quad exhaust system.

For the interior we expect the usual M accessories: sports leather seats, a sports steering wheel, and different aluminum inserts.

The Engine

The Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept was powered by a three cylinder turbo diesel power plant combined with two electric motors for a maximum output of 356 HP and 590 lb-ft of peak torque. For the Project i Coupe, BMW will combine a 1.5 liter inline 3 engine with two electric motors with an output of 95 HP each. The final output will be in the 400 HP area.

BMW will offer both RWD and AWD versions, with the hybrid version being offered only as an AWD model. The engine will be mated to a new double clutch transmission and will sprint the future supercar from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. The company has promised a fuel economy of 58 MPG and an autonomy of 400 kilometers. The bad news, though, is that top speed will be limited to only 155 mph, but we’re sure tuners will have something to say about this.

As for the M version, it is rumored to be powered by an Inline 6 turbo engine or V8 engine with an output of 450 HP. The engine will be combined with two "supercaps" that will add a total of 100 HP each. And if you do a little math you’ll understand why we can’t wait to see the Project i Coupe when it goes into production.

The competition

The BMW project i Coupe will take on models like the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the Audi R8 V10, and the Porsche 911 Turbo. All of them are German models and all develop more than 500 HP. Not to mention that all of them have prices bigger than any normal person can ever afford. So, for those out there who can actually afford one, we believe the final decision will be made depending on everyone’s likes and tastes.

When can I get one?

The BMW Project i Coupe will go on sale in 2013. In Germany, it is rumored to be priced between 125,000 and 175,000 euro (between $175,000 and $250,000 at the current exchange rates). BMW announced it will produce around 30,000 units within 5 years.

2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Performance

While everyone expected great things from Lamborghini at the recent Paris Auto Show, the Italian company only brought the Sesto Elemento Concept leaving all of us a little disappointed in the Italian automaker. That disappointment, however, may be short lived as Lamborghini is rumored to be bringing out a Performance version of the Gallardo LP570-4 in March 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. If you remember the LP570-4 Superleggera Spyder that was caught testing at Nurburgring, then you’ve already caught a glimpse of the future vehicle.

The LP570-4 Performance will be distinguished by two black stripes covering the entire body, with the Performance name on the side. There will also be a glass-made engine hood borrowed from the Concept S and wheels from the LP570-4 Gallardo Superleggera.

Regarding its numbers, this performance version will be 67 lbs lighter than the LP560-4 Spyder and it will deliver 570 HP with a top speed of 201 mph. Prices will start at € 182.900.

We don’t really know if we should buy into this rumor, though. Lamborghini is said to be debuting the "Jota", or whatever it’s name is going to be, at the same Geneva show and two huge cars at one show might be overkill in Lamborghini’s dollar sign eyes. After Mopar announced its line-up for SEMA Show, Chrysler has also revealed the official detail on the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 that will also be presented in Las Vegas. it will be offered in two versions: standard and Inaugural Edition, last limited to 1,492 units.

For the exterior Dodge is offering two colors and new full-body stripe combination including Deep Water Blue with standard Stone White stripes or Bright White Clear Coat with standard Viper Blue stripes and 20-inch SRT-exclusive wheels. There will also be "392 HEMI" badges, Mopar quad exhaust tips, a larger front splitter and integrated front fender, a newly modified front fascia chin spoiler and rear decklid spoiler. The interior will offer standard Smooth Pearl White leather-trimmed seats and dual blue stripes accented by unique blue stitching and serialized “Inaugural Edition 392 HEMI” dash plaque.

Under the hood Dodge placed the legendary 392-cubic inch HEMI V8 powertrain with 470 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque.

Dodge’s ultimate modern American muscle coupe, the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, receives a big boost in horsepower and torque with the introduction of the legendary 392-cubic inch HEMI V8 powertrain for the street.

And the product story goes beyond the power rumbling under the hood.

Dodge performance loyalists asked for more power off the line, and the 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 answers the call with 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s 90 lb.-ft. more torque at 2,900 rpm compared with the previous 6.1-liter V-8 engine.

Building on its original mantra of a rear-drive coupe that delivers balance between form and function, the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 also brings world-class ride and handling along with high-performance braking and the latest technology that delivers improved fuel efficiency.

New, highly damped shocks offer a firm ride that maintains the feel for everyday commuting while being fully capable for the more challenging situations. SRT engineers recalibrated the suspension geometry to improve Challenger’s balance, corning ability and steering responsiveness. Two colors and new full-body stripe combinations include Deep Water Blue with standard Stone White stripes or Bright White Clear Coat with standard Viper Blue stripes. All Inaugural Edition models will ride on standard 20-inch SRT-exclusive wheels that feature a polished face and satin black painted pockets.

Unique “392 HEMI” badges flank both fenders touting the historically significant V-8 engine. Mopar quad exhaust tips deliver the performance exhaust note while adding a serious muscle car styling cue. A larger front splitter and integrated front fender spats give this Challenger SRT8 392 better overall high-speed aerodynamics and balance.

A newly modified front fascia chin spoiler improves aerodynamics and is accent painted for a more aggressive look. The rear decklid spoiler also is completed in matching body color.

The race-inspired interior of the Challenger SRT8 392 Inaugural Edition features standard Smooth Pearl White leather-trimmed seats and dual blue stripes accented by unique blue stitching. Each of the front seats features an embroidered “392” just below the headrest. An exclusive, serialized “Inaugural Edition 392 HEMI” dash plaque, showing the sequential build number from 1 to 1,492, rounds out the exclusive interior content.

There’s a lot of history attached to the iconic 392 HEMI name.

The original 392 HEMI engine was introduced in 1957 model year Chrysler and Imperial products, replacing the 354 cubic-inch version of the original HEMI launched in 1951. The new and improved HEMI V-8 engine was quickly adopted by drag racers of all types, and following various historical speed runs on land and water, soon became affectionately referred to simply as the “92.”

After 1958, the 392 HEMI was gone as a production engine, but it still remains a legend. Collectors are now preserving many historic 392-powered race cars and hot rods and proudly displaying them on show car circuits.

In 2007, Mopar – Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand – helped celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original 392 by launching a modern, crate engine version of the 392 HEMI.

Apparently, Mitsubishi has decided to give the Eclipse one last chance before deciding if the sports coupe will be dropped or not. For 2011, the sports car gets a new black painted roof, new design elements, and expanded equipment. Customers will have to choose from three trim levels: GS, GT, and GS Sport.

The new black painted roof pays tribute to the highly-successful original first-generation Eclipse Coupe that possessed a similarly dark-colored dome. For 2011, it also gets a ride height that has been lowered by over half an inch (15 mm) and a 12V accessory power outlet.

2010 Jaguar XF

Jaguar Design Director, Ian Callum, is a genius. Maybe not literally, but in the design world, the man can’t be beat. With great results, Callum has redesigned the Jaguar product line for the new millennium. One can tell that the XF was simply the beginning of a grand reshaping that has taken over the company. The new XJ and XK are just some examples for the XF’s revolutionary design.

It took a team three years to create the car you see in the photo above. At the time, the launch of the car was overshadowed by the worrisome future of the company itself. That meant that the XF was important for more reasons than one might think. If the car was a hit - which it was bound to be - it could save the brand and give the business a new value.

There is no need to get into the company’s business plans. We all know that once Ford let them go, an Indian company bought them. The company is called Tata and although it’s not a very flattering name, they have helped turn Jaguar into the company you see today.

With that out of the way, we can focus on the XF itself, as a highly desirable car that has earned praise from the automotive world. Those of you thinking about buying a Mercedes-Benz E-Class or an Audi A6 should think twice. We all know that people are interested in Jaguar, but up until now, many have thought about the company and then walked off the lot.

As good as the S-Type was by the end of its life, not one person could put up with that massive grille and poorly designed interior. In 2002, the S-Type featured things like an R version, a new cabin, and even a ZF six-sped transmission. Did that work? Nope. These were merely cosmetic changes that couldn’t save the car. The terrible styling never changed and no matter what the company did, it just wasn’t going to sell.

Some might say the S-Type was before its time, but we say that time might never come. The mouth looked like a gawking moron looking at a pretty lady and underneath it all, the car was just a Ford. Where as the XF is radical, it has more appeal than the S-Type could ever have.

When the XF was on the drawing board, designers flipped through the pages of the company’s history books and saw the MK2 and the XJ6. At the time many of us were worried that the horrific retro look of the S-Type would carry over to the - at the time - new XF. Perhaps it was paranoia, as we couldn’t deal with another ugly Jaguar. Thankfully, our fears were put to rest when we first saw the car.

The MK2 and the XJ6 were, for their time, revolutionary, and that’s what the design team were after. It wasn’t just styling that the team wanted; it was an idea. A Jaguar sports sedan is about beauty and getting everything just right with a pinch of modern touches, and that’s why those two machines did so well. Following in their footsteps was what the XF would hope to do.

The XF has a face that many won’t ever forget. The classic twin headlights flank a massively gorgeous grille. It’s aggressive in every way shape and form and many, without the badges on every side the car, won’t realize that it’s a Jaguar. The look of the car is nothing like Jaguars of the past, but we never cared in the slightest. The XF was gorgeous.

It’s clear that the front of the car is extremely aggressive and very upright. It’s a part of the car that many love to just stare at. Around the sides, you can see the minimal front overhang and the forms that press into the wonderfully sculpted hood. The windshield has a steep slant to it and actually, it’s at the same angle as the one on the XK. Around back, the trunk sits up high, which is needed to optimize cargo space to compete with the Germans.

Getting the best view of the car is left to the onlookers opinion. We like the view staring at the front of the car. That massive grille looks as if it could suck in air by the gallon. The stunning Jaguar logo that sits in the center of the grille is menacing to say the least, and the sculpted hood just seems to rise perfectly to the base of the windscreen.

Around back, onlookers will get a perfect view of the brilliant LED taillights and the classic Jaguar logo, positioned above a stainless steel blade. The dual exhaust system tops off the overall look of the car quite well.

While it might appear to share the same couple-like features of the Mercedes-Benz CLS, the XF is a fully functional five-seater. While it might not be as massive on the inside as the BMW 5-Series, there is plenty of room for a family. Is the XF’s interior volume the best in class? No, but it’s surely good enough for most people throughout the world.

Sit in the backseat of the car - as we did for quite some time - and you’ll find more than enough headroom and legroom. Yet, that won’t be the topic of discussion. One look around and it will is hard not to think about the wonderfully laid out interior that is unlike anything that has come before it. The blue ambient lighting, the start-stop button that pulses like a heartbea,t and the air vents that rotate to open, followed by the gear selection knob that rises out of the center console.

This device has to be one of our favorites. How many times have you thought that the gear shifter was too big and looked too gaudy? Most cars don’t even need those massive shifters, as gear selecting is a fly-by-wire. With that massive shifter gone, driver and passenger can sit deeper in the car, helping them to feel cocooned inside.

Living under the gorgeous hood are a bevy of engine options. Most are V8 motors, but buyers can also choose a 3.0-liter V6 with 235 horsepower. The motor is solid, but to get the most out of the car, a V8 should be onboard. There are 4.2-liter options and naturally aspirated 5.0-liter motors, but if you want to feel a real rush in the brain, opt for the 5.0-liter supercharged with 503 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of torque.

How can you not love the XF. In 2008, it won the WhatCar Car of the Year award, as well as taking away the prize in the executive car category. In 2009, it once again won the award for the best executive car.

A cracking design can pass down from model to model and that’s just what the XF did. Take a peek at the XJ and you will undoubtedly see cues from the XF in the style. It worked for the XJ, as we thought it was one of the best luxury cars on the market today for its pure beauty and the way it drives. The XF was no different, it drives like a winner and it looks like one too.

Mercedes has unveiled at the Paris Auto Show the S 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, the world’s most fuel-efficient luxury sedan. It is powered by four-cylinder turbo engine that delivers 204 HP and 500 NM of torque and delivers a total of 5,7 liters engine per 100 kilometers. The car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 8,2 seconds and can hit a top speed of 150 mph.

The engine is mated to ECO start/stop system. This system shuts down the engine as soon as the vehicle comes to a stop – e.g. at traffic lights – and the driver continues to press the brake pedal while it is stationary. The engine starts again immediately as soon as the driver releases the brake pedal or presses the accelerator pedal.

The ECO start/stop function will not switch the engine off for example if the desired interior temperature has yet to be reached, if the driver has switched off the system or if drive programmes "S" or "M" are active. An intelligent control system ensures that all functions and comfort systems otherwise remain in operation during the stop phase.

With the new S 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, Mercedes-Benz is presenting the world’s most fuel-efficient luxury saloon at the Paris Motor Show 2010. As the first four-cylinder engine in the more than 60-year history of success of the S-Class, the highly-efficient turbo diesel unit achieves fuel consumption levels of just 5.7 litres per 100 kilometres in the NEDC cycle, which corresponds to a CO2 output of 149 g/km. As a result, the new S 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is the first 5-litre car in the luxury segment and at the same time the first vehicle in its class to undercut the 150-gram mark in terms of CO2 output. With a peak output of 150 kW (204 hp) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm, the four-cylinder CDI also guarantees a superior driving experience which is typical of the S-Class.

The luxury saloon accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 240 km/h. There has been no official specs leaked for the HD7/HD3. I thought HD7 was supposed to be 4.5 inches & have 1.5GHZ precessor & 1800mhz battery. I’m pretty sure most people will appreciate the battery life

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution SE

Mitsubishi has added a new special edition to their Lancer Evolution X line-up. Called the SE, the new model will go on sale in the fall of 2010 and will be placed between the MR and GSR models.

The new Lancer Evolution SE gets an ultra-high performance suspension package, two-piece Brembo front brake rotors with remarkable stopping power, and Mitsubishi’s lightning-fast Twin Clutch-Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST). As you might already know, the LF-A is powered by a 4.8 liter V10 that delivers a maximum output of 560 HP at 9,000 RPM and a peak torque of 354 lb-ft at 6,800 RPM, with 90% of the total torque being available between the 3,700 RPM mark and the super car’s 9,000 RPM red line. As a result of such a road torque curve, the LF-A can sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.7 seconds and won’t stop until it reaches a top speed of 202 MPH.

In order to ensure that the LF-A handles as well as it goes in a straight line, the Lexus design team incorporated lightweight materials like aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys and titanium alloys as well as some carbon fiber to ensure that the LF-A is as rigid as possible while maintaining a low curb weight. Even the new super car’s power plant is compact in size, smaller than a conventional V8, which allowed the Toyota engineers to design the LF-A with the optimal weight distribution and an exceptional power to weight ratio. Thus giving Nissan and their GT-R super car something to watch out for.

The Enzo XX Evolution is powered by a 6.3 Liter V12 that makes an earth shattering 860 HP and 575 lb-ft of torque. Weight has been reduced by 220 pounds and the Enzo can now sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 242 MPH. On the other hand, the CF18 jet can hit a top speed of 1127 mph, but it has a slower sprint. The winner? Who cares, just enjoy the video!

1970 Porsche Gulf-JWA Le Mans sold for nearly $4 million

Taking a look at the sales from this past weekend’s Bonhams & Butterfields auction, one would never be able to tell that we are currently in a financial crisis throughout the world. For example, a 1970 Gulf-JWA Le Mans 917K Coupe was sold for a record amount of $3,965,000.

The auction consisted of an astounding 102 cars as well as one airplane and one boat from the three collections of Michael Amalfitano. Out of the 104 pieces up for sale, 74% of them were sold during the auction which was a much better percentage than originally expected from the auctioneers. In total, the Bonhams & Butterfields auction raised a total of $18.6 million of which about $4 million was attributed to the Porsche 917.

"We are very honored to have been selected to offer these incredible motorcars at auction," says Mark Osborne, head of Bonhams’ Motoring Department. "We are very pleased with the results and the satisfaction of having met or exceeded the expectations of our discerning and growing clientele."

Two-day event makes a world record for Porsche and posts $18.6 million in sales.

Bonhams & Butterfields celebrated the thirteenth anniversary of its renowned motorcar auction at the sunny Quail Lodge in Carmel Valley with resounding success.

Comprising a very diverse and newsworthy selection of 102 cars, 1 airplane and 1 boat – of which 77 sold (a 74% sell rate), the auction represented three major collections headlined by the Michael Amalfitano collection of competition cars, which blew through all pre-sale expectations and set the tone for a buoyant two-day sale.

A world record for any Porsche sold at auction was achieved with the ex-Jurgen Neuhaus/Jurgen Barth 1972-73 European Interserie and David Hobbs/Mike Hailwood Gulf-JW Automotive team 1972-73 Porsche 917 Interserie Spyder neé 1970 Gulf-JWA Le Mans 917K Coupe realizing $3,965,000.

Many other strong prices were attained for the rarest and freshest offerings, which included:

The exceedingly rare 1930 Mercedes-Benz 7.1 Liter SS Tourer that made $2,537,000 after spirited bidding.
The ex-works, Gerhard Mitter/Lucien Bianchi Nurburgring 1000 kms-leading 1967 Porsche 910 Endurance Racing Works Coupe that sold for $797,000.
The ex- J. Herbert Carpenter, Western Reserve Historical Society, Joe Tracy 1908 Thomas Flyer 4-60 Tourer that went for $733,000.
The ex-Ernst Loof racing team, Sandizell-owned 1937 BMW 328 Roadster that was bought for $667,000.

Furthermore, automobilia and spares posted the highest ever total at this venue with $1.185 million realized.

The upcoming Z623 speakers seem like a pretty good successor to the aging system, complete with an updated look. The Z623 will be $150 in September, and have RCA as well as 3.5mm inputs, so you can connect it to a computer, PMP or your (albeit low-end) home theater. These speakers, unlike the Z-2300, have volume controls on the satellites rather than in a separate control pod. I've actually run into problems with the Z-2300 control pod wearing out after a few years of use, turning a 2.1 system into a 1.1 (or 1.0) system where only the left channel works. [Logitech]

The new Nokia N8 cell phone is pretty awesome, The screen is a thing of beauty, nice colours, touch sensitivity is the same as found in a device like iPhone or Android as well. UI wise the colors are very pleasent and S3 feels more consitent on the entire system, the layout and design are very pleasent and it does not look clunky like the N97 or N900. Features on N8 look very very nice, Social Networking/Chatting/Email accounts integration to contact book and widgets on screen are very nice…

The Nokia N8 has a 3.5-inch capacitive display, 12 megapixel camera with HDMI-out, supports 720p/30fps video, Full touch screen, free navigation, worldwide maps, Symbian^3 OS. The camera is fantastic from the pics I’ve seen and the HD video is as well. This keeps me from having to lug around a camera on vacation or when going to a special event. The phone has a standby time of 400 hours.

The Nokia N8 will launch on August 24th with a price of €470 ($590) at Amazon Germany, price is a bit higher.

Di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, kita kerap mendengar kata "munafik" diucapkan orang. Dan bila itu terjadi, biasanya perhatian kita langsung akan terpusat pada sosok yang disebut-sebut munafik tadi. Bahkan tidak jarang kita sendiripun tergoda untuk ikut menambahkan komentar (gibah) mengenai sosok sial yang disebut munafik ini. Lalu, sejauh mana sebetulnya pengetahuan kita tentang Munafik? Berikut adalah ciri-ciri orang munafik menurut Islam.
1. Dusta

Hadith Rasulullah yang diriwayatkan Imam Ahmad Musnad dengan sanad Jayid: "Celaka baginya, celaka baginya, celaka baginya. Yaitu seseorang yang berdusta agar orang-orang tertawa." Di dalam kitab Shahihain (Shahih Bukhari dan Muslim), Rasulullah SAW bersabda: "Tanda orang munafik ada tiga, salah satunya adalah jika berbicara dia dusta."

2. Khianat
Sabda Rasulullah SAW: "Dan apabila berjanji, dia berkhianat." Barangsiapa memberikan janji kepada seseorang, atau kepada isterinya, anaknya, sahabatnya, atau kepada seseorang dengan mudah kemudian dia mengkhianati janji tersebut tanpa ada sebab uzur syar'i maka telah melekat pada dirinya salah satu tanda kemunafikan.

3. Fujur Dalam PertikaianSabda Rasulullah SAW: "Dan apabila bertengkar (bertikai), dia melampau batas."

4. Ingkar JanjiSabda Rasulullah SAW: "Tanda orang munafik ada tiga: jika berbicara dia dusta, jika berjanji dia ingkar, dan jika dipercaya (diberi amanat) dia berkhianat." (HR. Bukhari Muslim)

5. Malas Beribadah
Firman Allah SWT: "Dan apabila mereka berdiri untuk sholat, mereka berdiri dengan malas." (An-Nisa': 142) . Jika orang munafik pergi ke masjid atau surau, dia menyeret kakinya seakan-akan terbelenggu rantai. Oleh kerana itu, ketika sampai di dalam masjid atau surau dia memilih duduk di shaf yang paling akhir. Dia tidak mengetahui apa yang dibaca imam dalam sholat, apalagi untuk menyemak dan menghayatinya.

6. Riya
Di hadapan manusia dia sholat dengan khusyuk tetapi ketika seorang diri, dia mempercepatkan sholatnya. apabila bersama orang lain dalam suatu majlis, dia tampak zuhud dan berakhlak baik, demikian juga pembicaraannya. Namun, jika dia seorang diri, dia akan melanggar hal-hal yang diharamkan oleh Allah SWT.

7. Sedikit Berzikir
Firman Allah SWT: "Dan apabila mereka berdiri untuk sholat, mereka berdiri dengan malas. Mereka bermaksud riya' (dengan sholat) di hadapan manusia. Dan tidaklah mereka menyebut Allah SWT kecuali sedikit sekali." (An-Nisa': 142) .

8. Mempercepat Sholat
Mereka (orang-orang munafik) adalah orang yang mempercepatkan sholat tanpa ada rasa khusyuk sedikit pun. Tidak ada ketenangan dalam mengerjakannya, dan hanya sedikit mengingat Allah SWT di dalamnya. Fikiran dan hatinya tidak menyatu. Dia tidak menghadirkan keagungan, kehebatan, dan kebesaran Allah SWT dalam sholatnya. Hadith Nabi SAW: "Itulah sholat orang munafik, ... lalu mempercepat empat rakaat (sholatnya)"

9. Mencela Orang-Orang Yang Taat Dan Soleh
Mereka memperlekehkan orang-orang yang Taat dengan ungkapan yang mengandung cemuhan dan celaan. Oleh kerananya, dalam setiap majlis pertemuan sering kali kita temui orang munafik yang hanya memperbincangkan sepak terjang orang-orang soleh dan orang-orang yang konsisten terhadap Al-Quran dan As-Sunnah. Baginya seakan-akan tidak ada yang lebih penting dan menarik selain memperolok-olok orang-orang yang Taat kepada Allah SWT

10. Mengolok-Olok Al-Quran, As-Sunnah, Dan Rasulullah SAW
Termasuk dalam kategori Istihzaa' (berolok-olok) adalah memperolok-olok hal-hal yang disunnah Rasulullah SAW dan amalan-amalan lainnya. Orang yang suka memperolok-olok dengan sengaja hal-hal seperti itu, jatuh Kafir. Firman Allah SWT: "Katakanlah, Apakah dengan Allah SWT, Ayat-Ayat-Nya, dan Rasul-Nya kamu selalu berolok-olok?' Tidak usah kamu minta maaf, kerana kamu kafir sesudah beriman." (At-Taubah: 65-66)

11. Bersumpah Palsu
Firman Allah SWT: "Mereka menjadikan sumpah-sumpah mereka sebagai perisai." (Al-Munafiqun: 2 & Al-Mujadilah: 16). Jika seseorang menanyakan kepada orang munafik tentang sesuatu, dia langsung bersumpah. Apa yang diucapkan orang munafik semata-mata untuk menutupi kedustaannya. Dia selalu mengumpat dan memfitnah orang lain. Maka jika seseorang itu menegurnya, dia segera mengelak dengan sumpahnya: "Demi Allah, sebenarnya kamu adalah orang yang paling aku sukai. Demi Allah, sesungguhnya kamu adalah sahabatku."

12. Enggan Berinfak
Orang-orang munafik memang selalu menghindari hal-hal yang menuntut pengorbanan, baik berupa harta maupun jiwa. Apabila menjumpai mereka berinfak, bersedekah, dan mendermakan hartanya, mereka lakukan kerana riya' dan sum'ah. Mereka enggan bersedekah, kerana pada hakikatnya, mereka tidak menghendaki pengorbanan harta, apalagi jiwa.

13. Tidak Menghiraukan Nasib Sesama Kaum Muslimin
Mereka selalu menciptakan kelemahan-kelemahan dalam barisan muslimin. Inilah yang disebut At Takhdzil. iaitu, sikap meremehkan, menakut-nakuti, dan membiarkan kaum muslimin. Orang munafik berpendapat bahawa orang-orang kafir lebih kuat daripada kaum muslimin.

14. Suka Menyebarkan Khabar Dusta
Orang munafik senang memperbesar peristiwa atau kejadian. Jika ada orang yang tergelincir lisannya secara tidak sengaja, maka datanglah si munafik dan memperbesarkannya dalam majelis-majelis pertemuan. "Apa kalian tidak mendengar apa yang telah dikatakan si fulan itu?" Lalu, dia pun menirukan kesalahan tersebut. Padahal, dia sendiri mengetahui bahawa orang itu mempunyai banyak kebaikan dan keutamaan, akan tetapi si munafik itu tidak akan mahu mengungkapkannya kepada masyarakat.

15. Mengingkari Takdir
Orang munafik selalu membantah dan tidak redha dengan takdir Allah SWT. Oleh kerananya, apabila ditimpa musibah, dia mengatakan: "Bagaimana ini. Seandainya saya berbuat begini, niscaya akan menjadi begini." Dia pun selalu mengeluh kepada sesama manusia. Sungguh, dia telah mengkufuri dan mengingkari Qadha dan Takdir.

16. Mencaci Maki Kehormatan Orang-Orang Soleh
Apabila orang munafik membelakangi orang-orang soleh, dia akan mencaci maki, menjelek-jelekkan, mengumpat, dan menjatuhkan kehormatan mereka di majlis-majlis pertemuan. Firman Allah SWT: "Mereka mencaci kamu dengan lidah yang tajam, sedang mereka bakhil untuk berbuat kebaikan." (Al-Ahzab: 19)

17. Sering Meninggalkan Sholat Berjamaah
Apabila seseorang itu segar, kuat, mempunyai waktu luang, dan tidak memiliki uzur say'i, namun tidak mahu mendatangi masjid/surau ketika mendengar panggilan azan, maka saksikanlah dia sebagai orang munafik.

18. Membuat Kerusakan Di Muka Bumi Dengan Dalih Mengadakan Perbaikan
Firman Allah SWT: "Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: janganlah kamu membuat kerusakan di muka bumi, mereka menjawab: 'Sesungguhnya kami orang-orang yang mengadakan kebaikan.' Ingatlah, sesungguhnya mereka itulah orang-orang yang membuat kerusakan, tetapi mereka tidak sadar." (Al-Baqarah: 11-12).

19. Tidak Sesuai Antara Zahir Dengan Bathin
Secara Zahir mereka membenarkan bahawa Nabi Muhammad SAW adalah Rasul Allah, tetapi di dalam hati mereka, Allah telah mendustakan kesaksian mereka. Sesungguhnya, kesaksian yang tampak benar secara Zahir itulah yang menyebabkan Mereka masuk ke dalam Neraka. Penampilan zahirnya bagus dan mempesona, tetapi di dalam batinnya terselubung niat busuk dan menghancurkan. Di luar dia menampakkan kekhusyukan, sedangkan di dalam hatinya ia main-main.

20. Takut Terhadap Kejadian Apa Saja
Orang-orang munafik selalu diliputi rasa takut. Jiwanya selalu tidak tenang, keinginannya hanya selalu mendambakan kehidupan yang tenang dan damai tanpa disibukkan oleh persoalan-persoalan hidup apapun. Dia selalu berharap: "Tinggalkan dan biarkanlah kami dengan keadaan kami ini, semoga Allah memberikan nikmat ini kepada kami. Kami tidak ingin keadaan kami berubah." Padahal, keadaannya tidaklah lebih baik.

21. Beruzur Dengan Dalih Dusta
Firman Allah SWT: "Di antara mereka ada orang yang berkata: 'Berilah saya izin (tidak pergi berperang) dan janganlah kamu menjadikan saya terjerumus ke dalam fitnah.' Ketahuilah bahawa mereka telah terjerumus ke dalam fitnah. Dan sesungguhnya Neraka Jahanam itu benar-benar meliputi orang-orang yang kafir." (At-Taubah: 49)

22. Menyuruh Kemungkaran Dan Mencegah Kemakrufan
Mereka (orang munafik) menginginkan agar perbuatan keji tersiar di kalangan orang-orang beriman. Mereka menggembar-gemburkan tentang kemerdekaan wanita, persamaan hak, penanggalan hijab/jilbab. Mereka juga berusaha memasyarakatkan nyanyian dan konsert, menyebarkan majalah-majalah porno (semi-porno) dan narkotik.

23. Bakhil
Orang-orang munafik sangat bakhil dalam masalah-masalah kebajikan. Mereka menggenggam tangan mereka dan tidak mahu bersedekah atau menginfakkan sebahagian harta mereka untuk kebaikan, padahal mereka orang yang mampu dan berkecukupan.

24. Lupa Kepada Allah SWT
Segala sesuatu selalu mereka ingat, kecuali Allah SWT. Oleh sebab itu, mereka senantiasa ingat kepada keluarganya, anak-anaknya, lagu-lagu, berbagai keinginan, dan segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan duniawi. Dalam fikiran dan batin mereka tidak pernah terlintas untuk mengingat (dzikir) Allah SWT, kecuali sebagai tipuan semata-mata.

25. Mendustakan Janji Allah SWT Dan Rasul-Nya
Firman Allah SWT: "Dan (ingatlah) ketika orang-orang munafik dan orang-orang yang berpenyakit dalam hatinya berkata: 'Allah dan Rasul-Nya tidak menjanjikan kepada kami selain tipu daya." (Al-Ahzab: 12).

26. Lebih Memperhatikan Zahir, Mengabaikan Bathin
Orang munafik lebih mementingkan zahir dengan mengabaikan yang batin, tidak menegakkan sholat, tidak merasa diawasi Allah SWT, dan tidak mengenal zikir. Pada zahirnya, pakaian mereka demikian bagus menarik, tetapi batin mereka kosong, rusak dan lain sebaginya.

27. Sombong Dalam Berbicara
Orang-orang munafik selalu sombong dan angkuh dalam berbicara. Mereka banyak omomg dan suka memfasih-fasihkan ucapan. Setiap kali berbicara, mereka akan selalu mengawalinya dengan ungkapan menakjubkan yang meyakinkan agar tampak seperti orang hebat, mulia, berwawasan luas, mengerti, berakal, dan berpendidikan. Padahal, pada hakikatnya dia tidak memiliki kemampuan apapun. Sama sekali tidak memiliki ilmu bahkan bodoh.

28. Tidak Memahami Ad Din
Di antara "keistimewaan" orang-orang munafik adalah: mereka sama sekali tidak memahami masalah-masalah agama. Dia tahu bagaimana mengenderai mobil dan mengerti perihal mesinnya. Dia juga mengetahui hal-hal remeh dan pengetahuan-pengetahuan yang tidak pernah memberi manfaat kepadanya meski juga tidak mendatangkan mudharat baginya. Akan tetapi, apabila menghadapi untuk berdialog (bertanya tentang persoalan-persoalan Ad Din (Islam)), dia sama sekali tidak boleh menjawab.

29. Bersembunyi Dari Manusia Dan Menentang Allah Dengan Perbuatan DosaOrang munafik menganggap ringan perkara-perkara terhadap Allah SWT, menentang-Nya dengan melakukan berbagai kemungkaran dan kemaksiatan secara sembunyi-sembunyi. Akan tetapi, ketika dia berada di tengah-tengah manusia dia menunjukkan sebaliknya: berpura-pura taat.

Firman Allah SWT: "Mereka bersembunyi dari manusia, tetapi mereka tidak bersembunyi dari Allah, padahal Allah beserta mereka, ketika pada suatu malam mereka menetapkan keputusan rahsia yang Allah tidak ridhoi." (An-Nisa': 108)

30. Senang Melihat Orang Lain Susah, Susah Bila Melihat Orang lain Senang
Orang munafik apabila mendengar berita bahawa seorang ulama yang soleh tertimpa suatu musibah, dia pun menyebarluaskan berita duka itu kepada masyarakat sambil menampakkan kesedihannya dan berkata: "Hanya Allahlah tempat memohon pertolongan. Kami telah mendengar bahawa si fulan telah tertimpa musibah begini dan begitu. Semoga Allah memberi kesabaran kepada kami dan beliau." Padahal, di dalam hatinya dia merasa senang dan bangga akan musibah itu.

Mazda RX-8 2009

The original RX-8 was launched in 2001 and was intended as a successor for the RX-7. The later was previously produced in not less than three distinct generations and was a high performance 2+2 seats coupe. The most exclusive component used for the RX-7 was it’s unique (Mazda is the only current Wankel engine producer) rotary engine, that made the car light and fast. After sales for the RX-7 dropped in the late ‘90s, Mazda decided to revive their performance coupe and dropped the RX-7 denomination in favor of the “RX-8” tag. This change was intended to point that the new model was a revolution and a total departure from the previous RXs. It featured four doors, the two smaller rears ones were “suicide doors”.

This two plus two suicide doors layout has proved to be highly successful. It eases rear access, but doesn’t compromise much the “coupe styling”. This successful recipe will be preserved for the second RX-8 that will be an evolution of the current model.

According to a recent survey performed by a major research organization, Mazda’s new-car customers are the second youngest in North America, at only 41 years of age.

The evolved design of the 2009 Mazda RX-8 will resemble to a fuselage with a powerful stance, pronounced wheel arches and taut surfaces. Every line will flow into another with no open ends, in the “Zoom-Zoom” manner currently common to all Mazda models. Surfaces will be drawn tight over the wheel arches, the way a spider’s web stretches between anchor points

The power will be supplied to the new RX-8’s rear wheels by an updated version of the 1.3-liter Wankel rotary engine expected to produce up to 300 bhp. The transmission options will be 6-gears manuals or automatic gearboxes.

Mazda has already developed a prototype of a hydrogen/gasoline fueled rotary engine. It is highly probably that this engine version will also be offered for the next generation RX-8.

The second generation Mazda RX-8 is expected to be launched in 2009 as a 2010 model and is likely to be priced starting at $28,000.

History

The first generation Mazda RX-8 was launched in 2001 at the NAIAS. For 2007 Mazda have upgraded their four-door, four-seat, rotary engine-equipped RX-8 sports car, which is to be sold at Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealers throughout Japan. Mazda is commencing sales of the 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmission models and accepting orders for the new 6-speed automatic transmission (AT) version from today. The 6-speed AT RX-8 goes on sale in mid-October 2006.

Since sales began in April 2003, the RX-8 has received widespread acclaim as a unique sports car powered by a rotary engine, in which four adults can ride comfortably.

The newly-adopted 6-speed AT model delivers reassuringly smooth acceleration and improved noise reduction at high speeds. In addition, a 6-port design of its rotary engine—2 ports more than the prior model—improves the intake efficiency, and the newly-added Active Adaptive Shift (AAS) control raises the ride quality and enjoyment of driving a sports car.

Additionally, new accessories improve the vehicle’s quality feel. For its exterior and interior, Mazda has introduced the "Sand Beige Leather Package" to the Type S and Type E models. The exterior features two new body colors, with a stark blue "Stormy Blue Mica" and radiant white "Crystal White Pearl Mica" having been added to the body color range to further emphasize the RX-8’s sporty pedigree and reputation for quality.

The monthly sales target for the upgraded RX-8 is set at 600 units a month.

The adoption of the 6-speed AT, increased by two speeds over the base 4-speed, enabled the overall gear ratio range to be widened and the gaps between each gear to be reduced to achieve a better close ratio. The 6-port engine that up to now has only been used in the RX-8 Type S (6-speed manual transmission model) has been adopted for the 6-speed automatic transmission version, which until now mounted only a 4-port engine. This development pushes up the power output by increasing intake efficiency as well as further enhancing the torque produced at high revs—one of the special features of the rotary engine.

One of the main competitors of the current RX-8 is the Nissan 350Z. For 2006, the dramatic Nissan 350Z sports car received its first comprehensive updating since its introduction in the market in August 2002. The changes to the Z, which has sold over 100,000 units in its first three years, include a revised front end appearance, enhanced interior, LED taillights, a new vehicle speed-sensitive power steering system, refined optional navigation system and available RAYS super lightweight 18-inch front/19-inch rear 5-spoke forged alloy wheels (Coupe only.

A new Grand Touring Coupe model featuring the 18/19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, front and rear spoiler and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) has been added to the model lineup and all 6-speed manual transmission models now receive the 300-horsepower* tuning of the Z’s standard 3.5-liter DOHC V6. Models equipped with the 5-speed automatic transmission are rated at 287 horsepower.

For 2006, the 350Z is again available in Coupe and Roadster body styles and in an array of models – five for the Coupe and three for the Roadster. Each provides sports car lovers high performance excitement and dynamic driving experience, with a style all its own. Other enhancements for the new model year include standard 18-inch cast aluminum-alloy wheels (except Coupe Track and Grand Touring models), increased brake rotor size for non-Brembo models, standard bi-xenon (low and high beam) headlights, and mp3-CD capability for the available Bose audio system.

Three new exterior colors are available for 2006: Silver Alloy, Magnetic Black, and Interlagos Fire.

Semuanya ikut berpuasa dari perbuatan yang dilarang oleh agama Islam. Kalau tidak, dia tidak akan mendapatkan hasil apa-apa dari shaum-nya kecuali rasa haus dan lapar saja.

Kita tidak boleh berpikir jahat kepada orang lain, dan tidak merencanakan sebuah kejahatan buat siapa pun. Hatinya dijaga dari sifat dengki, hasad, benci tanpa alasan syar’i, serta dendam. Matanya dipejamkan dari melihat yang dilarang oleh agama seperti film porno, tarian yang sensual, goyang pinggul yang merangsang, dan sebagainya. Tuesday was BlackBerry’s big day. Anticipation had been building for it since WES 2010 in April when the company first teased BlackBerry 6, and BlackBerry enthusiasts have been waiting for it throughout 2010 as iPhone and Android amped up their smartphones and made BlackBerry look increasing outdated.

What AT&T and RIM executives proceeded to show off on Tuesday was the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 (right), which is the first smartphone to run BlackBerry 6, has a revamped multitouch interface, and features the traditional BlackBerry keyboard in a slide-down form factor.

AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega opened Tuesday’s launch event for the Torch 9800 by saying, “Today, AT&T and RIM are introducing the best BlackBerry ever.” That was a pretty high bar to hit and we’ll be debating in the coming weeks about whether the Torch really clears it. However, the initial reactions from tech journalists and analysts have been lukewarm.

How often do you have the chance to see a Ferrari 599XX? Not very often, right? Well, photographer Sevan Calians was able to get pictures of two Ferrari 599XXs at the Paul Ricard High Test Track. Talk about being at the right place, at the right time; Calians was also able to capture a Pagani Zonda R right next to them! Now, that’s a perfect combination.

In case anyone has forgotten, the record-breaking 599XX’engine delivers a maximum output of 700 HP at a screaming 9,000 RPM and is mated to an all new SuperFast gearbox that is able to swap cogs in a mere 60 milliseconds. The 599XX is characterized by an innovative system called the "High Performance Dynamic Concept" which has been designed to get the maximum performance from the vehicle by managing the combination of the car’s mechanical limits with the potential of its electronic controls.

We’d love and hate to be the ones testing those cars on that track. Can you imagine having to pick between those voluptuous beauties for testing? Let’s just hope the test drivers were able to catch a ride in all three!

Spy photographers caught a new mysterious Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder testing at Nurburgring. And since we do not know exactly what it is, then we can only make assumptions. So, lets see. Lamborghini has a LP 570-4 Superleggera and a LP550-2 Valentino Balboni Edition, both provided in a coupe version. So, which one is about to get a spyder version?

The prototype caught testing features the same wheels, diffuser, and rear bumper
as the Superleggera model, but has a smaller rear wing. There is also a front bumper similar to the one from the Valentino Balboni Edition. So, which one do you guys think it is?

The Gallardo LP 550-2 is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine that delivers 550 hp. With a weight of only 3042 lbs, the car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 199 mph. The LP570-4 Superleggera gets a 5.2 liter V10 engine with 570 hp. The result is a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph in only 10.2 seconds later, while top speed goes up to 202 mph.
