There are two different sources of traffic you can have. general traffic as well as targetted traffic. Targetted traffic brings in sales, while general traffic is more freebie traffic. The best way to explain this is by an example: So lets say I am buying a baby barbie doll for my daughter, if I am taken to the site that sells inflatable toys, I wil not be happy. So it is about targeted traffic! Maybe it sounds like this is extreme, but if your search engine result showed me title stating baribe doll at the discount and I clicked it, but it took me to basketball balls site, I would still be upset.

While most people think it is about quantity, I have to say, it is about quality.

So, one way to drive targeted traffic to a site is by writing articles around your niche targeted keywords to send free traffic to your site. You just need to use some free keyword research tools to come up with them such as google keyword tool.

You then have to opmitize that page for that keyword you have selected. You later on need to build some links from social bookmarking sites as well as from the forums.

You can spend some time chit chatting in the niche forums in order to send targeted traffic to your site. And the keyword here is the niche forums. Again, you have to talk to the people who really need your product.

You can even do some niche blog commenting, by finding the relevant niche blog, and posting a very smart blog comment on their site. Of course your blog has to allow the URL to be in there, so you get a link back as well as extra traffic. With this you will build links as well as drive relevant traffic to your site.

Remember, when you working on the traffic, you have to send targeted traffic to your site.

One is Link Dominators.com and the second one is web 2 mayham!

Now there are huge differences between the two so let me explain!

Ok let’s talk about link dominators.  First off, their service is outsourcing of link building.  Basically all you have to do is submit 8-14 URLs with your main keywords to your site and you will get them to provide 60-100 links per each url.  They will post articles for you, and they will also build massive sources of high PR links.  Now you may think that outsourcing costs a lot, and in normal cases it does, however with link dominators, it is only .16 CENTS per link.

Ok, now let’s move onto web 2 mayham, with web 2 mayham, you do a lot of work yourself, but you can add unlimited links.  As you know, we need lots of links in order rank higher in Google.  With web 2 mayham, you can build 100’s of links per page, basically on autopilot.  You can post articles, and you can do bookmarks, and you can even get high PR links.  It is important to say, I said “autopilot”, basically the system will load your pages up for you, but you still have to do some work yourself.

Now, it really depends on what kind of a budget you are.  I believe that the best linkvana alternative is link dominators.  That is just my opinion, because they do all  the work for you, but if you have the time to build your links, you web 2 mayham might be better?

By far, one of the easiest sites to use is Linkvana. This is a site that has a blogging network, which actually auto posts your mini posts on many different high pr blogs. It of course comes with a price tag of 150 monthly fee. Most people frown on this, but it give you almost instant ranking and if you are selecting buyer keywords, this is worth it. The only problem I have to warn you about is that the mini posts you have to write, and if you do not want to, you can outsource the work to linkvana staff.

Second service to use is senuke software. Again, this software requires you to manually add some things, but it is also very powerful. In 4 hours work, you can get around 20 articles written, social bookmarked, and of course around 40-50 high PR links to your site. Which is not bad, but again you do have to do this manually! Again, it is unlimited number of links you can get to the pages you want to rank, and for the price tag, compared to what it can do, it actually is very cheap, the real downside is that this link building service is actually a software which you have to work on yourself.

And your third choice is Link Dominators. Upside to the top 2 is that you have to manually work on the software’s to actually get the links and link dominators actually does all the work for you, it is basically outsourcing link building to other people. But downside to Link Dominators is that you have a limit on the URLS. Having said this, if you wanted to link and rank 30 URLS, with Linkvana or Senuke, you would have to sit manually and do the work, and be able to complete it in around 30 days. While link Dominators will charge a slightly bigger fee for 28 URLs, but for around $280 you can get all the links you need to your site and they provide a fairly dynamic link building service.

First of, make sure you spend time selecting keywords you can easily out rank. For example, if your site is PR 1 and you are selecting keywords where you re competing with PR 4 or 5, you will wait a while for your page to rank!

Try to optimize your page for many keywords not only the main once. Search engines will give you priority if you do that.

Make sure your main keyword appears once or twice in the title. If you have a secondary keyword, put both of them in the title. Don’t have any keyword more than twice.

There are many other factors that are important for onsite optimization. Two of the big ones are your header tags and your keyword density.

Use <h1> for your headers. In between them, make sure you mention your keyword at least once.

Use your keyword often in your text, but don’t make it sound weird to do so.

These two factors have an influence on Google, but not nearly to the same degree as before simply because people abused the system.

Get links from many different popular sites. Why not get links for you tube or twitter and so on? They like that you are active and they want to follow you and also you it will improve your page rank!

While you should concentrate on getting anchored text links with your main keywords, get few that are not. This way you are mixed in and not suspicions to Google!

And most importantly try to work on getting high PR links. People do not know how important it is to have links from HIGH pr websites. Those links will boost your rank a lot faster. The PR of one page will also effect other pages so one link will count for others in order to improve web rank.

And if getting links is a full time job for you, outsource link building service and you will save time, and it really will not cost you more than .16 cents per link.

Niche Market

Now there is always a debate on the niche market as many think this has something to do with working in some sales market. Actually the niche market is a group of people with a problem.

So main market might be weight loss, while the niche marketing is a particular group of people wanting to lose weight! A while back I was asked a question, why a product was not selling and I read the sales page and I asked the guy…Who needs your product. He comes back to me and say, that one question you just made just opened my eyes completely!

The fact is…If you can define the niche market, the rest is easy!

Now before we talk about the technical part, let’s talk about the guide or the product you are giving for free. Now if a person is looking to lose weight and you are offering them a tool that can tell them they are overweight. They WILL NOT sign up! However, when a person is searching for a weight loss plan, and you are giving them a quick and an easy one to do exactly that! They will sign up!

So it cannot be just anything you want to give out! It has to be something they really need!

The Squeeze Page
When you have the good quality offer in hand, you can easily make your squeeze page. First the page itself needs to have a “drooling” headline title and it has to be powerful and capture the attention in under 3 min. There should be 5-9 bullet points and of course the opt in form should stand out and be above the fold!

Your main concern when selecting a niche market needs to have a label on people. You see, in the above example I can say Michael Jackson Fans looking to learn to moon dance. This is a good niche.

So ok we know you need a niche! How do you find your niche market?

All you really have to do is select one forum in broad niche, and you will be able to find your niche market within that forum. Browse the forum and you will come up at least with 10 niche markets to get into!
