But what is your business website all about?

It’s about conversion!

And conversion will drastically increase by sending targeted website traffic to your offers.

Then why do so many website owners still use guaranteed website traffic service providers? They promise you ‘tons’ of traffic in a pre-defined period, using ’state of the art’ technology. And if they’re good, they live up to their promises. But…

…how many sales does this kind of targeted web site traffic generate?

Probably none, otherwise anyone with a web site would buy this kind of traffic!

Targeted web site traffic in these cases mean, that these providers will show a pop-up or pop-under to people belonging to the categories you’ve specified during the sign up or buying process. That counts as a hit and that’s how they can ‘guarantee’ the number of hits you ordered.
But that doesn’t mean these visitors are ready to buy. If they’re annoyed by it, they just click away while continuing their browsing.

That’s not the kind of targeted web site traffic we want, do we?
Again, what would you prefer: a 2% conversion rate of just 1,000 really targeted visitors or only 0.05% conversion rate of 10,000 visitors? I would definitely prefer the former! The only guaranteed targeted web site traffic is the traffic that brings in the bacon. NO such service will ever guarantee you sales.

So, how can you increase your sales or sign ups?

The best way to achieve this is looking for visitors in your target market yourself.

Search engine optimization is a great form of generating targeted web site traffic. Without going in too much detail (there are tons of great sites explaining SEO), you can start by researching keywords before publishing another page.

Another great way is to get your web site traffic from forums. That’s where your potential customers are asking questions that you can answer and include a single signature leading to your offers.
The more you contribute to knowledge sharing, the more you are regarded upon as an expert about the subject and the more trust people will have in your products or services.

Or you may use SEO friendly directory services. That’s where visitors are looking for something interesting and they may click your links. That’s targeted web site traffic.

Another way is to advertise in ezines about your subject. Although response rates of newsletters has decreased lateyl, so have the advertising fees. There are many ezines available on the Net where you can advertise and still bring in targeted web site traffic. Try a site like Ezine search.

There have been a few moments that I needed to know how to fix a laptop.

A huge problem, since laptops can have many failures like failing screens, hinges, keyboards, power jacks and power cords, batteries, lockups, bootup failures, upgrade problems, etc., not to mention spilling coffee on the laptop of even worse, the famous blue screen.

Maybe it’s time to learn how to fix a laptop?
Pay attention and see if you can agree with my conclusions.

1. There’s a huge demand for laptop repair, as they often have failures at moments we can’t afford them,
2. there’s little supply as most repair shops don’t know how to fix a laptop, and
3. the laptop users market is willing to pay for laptop repair, since they’re also willing to pay for their laptop replacements!

As you can see, knowing how to fix a laptop isn’t only a valuable skill to save your butt in times of trouble, it may also be a great home business opportunity.

Since you also know a lot about marketing, it shouldn’t be too difficult to establish yourself as a professional laptop repair service and charge a great hourly rate for it.

So if you can only learn how to repair laptop computers you will have knowledge that is in high demand. You can either step into a computer repair shop and offer your services or even start your own laptop repair business and make up to $65/hr or more.

Suppose you want to sell your online business in three years from now. And suppose you want to make one hundred thousand dollars from it. To achieve that, you have to make at least $10.000 a month by that time.

The question then is, how do you reach that point? Therefore you need to think about smaller goals you’ll need to reach in order to reach your ultimate goal.

Once your plan is established, be prepared to change it as you go. If you feel parts don’t work all right or find better methods to achieve your small goals, tweak your plan or even completely overhaul it.

When writing their internet business marketing plan, one of the biggest mistakes marketers make is not to include enough detals. You therefore must make sure that your plans are very detailed.
Include all the steps you will need to take to end up with an exact list of steps you need to do each and every day.

Like setting up some social networking sites in support of your membership site discussed above. For instance, your plan may include setting up a Facebook and a Squidoo account. More specifically, you plan setting up one for one morning and the other for the afternoon.

It’s a pretty common belief that blogging is a simple process and that it’s easy to start your own blog.

1. Not Everyone Can Write
   You’re probably asking yourself “How hard can blogging be?”

2. Coming Up with Topics Isn’t Always Easy

   The trick is that when you come up with topics, they need to be weird, funny, controversial, or image, video and celebrity-driven to draw in and keep your audience. Also, you have to be good at coming up with titles, something that’s not easy for even the pros to do.

3. Sensitivity Isn’t Allowed
   If sticks, stones and words hurt you then don’t even consider to start your own blog.
   As a blogger, you have to be willing to step out of the box, voice your own opinions and be prepared for opposite opinions, or even a little backlash for your ideas.

   Some people like to anonymously show up in blogs and harass the writers. So if you’re not confident in your opinions, you may as well leave them in your brain.

4. Drawing an Audience Takes Work
   You may think that the minute you publish your first post, the audience will come running.
   The truth is, even if you have 1,000 online friends that you fraternize with regularly, you’ll be lucky if 50 show up to read your blog every day.

   What prospective bloggers don’t realize is that individuals who read specific blogs are drawn in by the topics they get to read and discuss. Unfortunately, your friends don’t all have the same interest.

   This means it’s up to you to join chatrooms, forums, social networking site groups and anything else dedicated to your blog’s theme. However, with hard work and lots of word of mouth, you just may be able to draw in the audience that will make your blog a success.

They can’t really be blamed can they?

However, this thought that “it’s easy” quickly turns to “it’s so HARD” once they start implementing what’s being taught in the Internet marketing ebooks, reports, and videos.

The reality is that building a profitable and serious Internet business is definitely NOT easy, but it’s SIMPLE.

Simple and easy is different.

Easy subconsciously implies that anyone can do it without much work and effort, and that they will succeed at first try since it’s easy.

SIMPLE, on the other hand, means that the overall concept of building a serious Internet business is simple and straightforward.

Once these beginners who initially thought that it’s easy start to feel that it’s HARD to succeed online, they will start to OVER-COMPLICATE things and regard Internet marketing as something only those SUPER talented and smart people can succeed at.

Which is totally NOT true.

They will groan and bemoan: “Oh no Internet marketing is so HARD. You have to learn HTML, you need to learn how to set up a squeeze page, create an info product, drive traffic, SEO, install scripts, tracking and testing, recruit affiliates, set up shopping cart, do customer service, follow up using autoresponder, etc.”

The TRUTH is building a serious Internet business does NOT have to be hard and complicated.

The Internet business model is actually quite SIMPLE. Yes you may have to learn all the skills mentioned above, but think of it as a learning process.

You didn’t know how to do it twenty years ago, but you know how to do it now.
