Using this WordPress payment plugin is a snap and as easy as creating posts. And besides that, this plugin works in a secure way and your download links are protected!

I know lots of people using WordPress are having problems setting up a secure payment processor. If that’s you, pay attention, because here’s the solution for that problem.

I think anyone can do this, but just to be sure, here’s a rundown.

Installation:

• Upload and activate the plugin
• Fill in the standard settings
• Add a (hard to guess) download directory to the wp-content folder

Then this WordPress payment plugin is ready to work for you.
(There was a little flaw in unpacking the zip file, because it contained an identically named sub folder in the main folder. You have to get rid of one of them if that’s still the case when you download the product.)

Next, you’ll need to fill in your account info, like

• your PayPal email address and an authorisation code and/or Clickbank ID and secret code and/or E-Junkie Client ID
• your support info
• your download expiration time
• some random keys to encrypt your download page and link
• upload the provided .htaccess file to your download directory for extra security (I had to strip the rewrite url to index.php only)

That’s it.

Next, you want to fill in product details.

Before doing that, you have to create a thank-you and download page once-only.
You can use WordPress to do that or create a simple HTML page.
Samples of download and thank-you pages are provided in the package and the source shows the many variables that you can use inside these pages. Just copy and paste the source into your WordPress pages.

Then you’ll add the product specifications into the plugin, like

• product ID, description, price
• the selected payment processor (PayPal, Clickbank or even an affiliate program)
• the names of your sales page, download page and thank you page (just the names, no URL’s to store)
• the name of the download file
• email message to be send to your customers

Of course, for every product you want to sell, you’ll have to create a sales page and include the generated code for the payment button.

Since I bought this WordPress payment plugin only yesterday, I didn’t have time to fully test it, but the first results are very promising, so there’s hardly any risk involved.

Also, this payment processor was suggested to me by Paul Myers and that’s one of the most reliable persons on the Web. Can’t go wrong with Paul.

Officially called “Google Webmasters”, also referred to as “Google Webmasters Tool” or even “Google Webmaster Central”.

Whatever you call it, Google checker is an essential webmasters tool that also serves as a search engine optimizer. For the most important amongst all search engines: Google.

If you’re not familiar with Google checker, you absolutely have to use this online application to drastically improve your website.

Here are the basics of this wonderful webmasters tool.

If you already have a Google account or use Gmail you just need to sign in and go to webmasters.google.com. Otherwise you have to register there first.

Then you can add your website(s) to the dashboard for inclusion.
Each added website needs to be authenticated (which is just to prevent identity theft, etc). You can do this by either inserting a line of code into your home page HTML or by uploading a unique file (generated by Google checker; just copy and paste) onto your website (using FTP). Either way is quick and easy.

Next, uploading an XML sitemap of your website to the Google checker is an outstanding idea. If you don’t know how to do this, use Google again to search for ‘google xml sitemap creation’. There are plenty of sites that can create such maps.
After you’re done, upload the map to your site as a page, but with an extension .xml instead of .html. Submit that URL to the Google checker.

Google thus knows the location of your web pages which helps indexing them.
Now that you’re doing this anyway, take some time to also create an HTML sitemap as well (again, use Google to find such a service), upload it as a (normal HTML) page and link to it from your homepage. This helps the other search engines, that don’t use the XML format, index your pages.

After you’ve done this, Google needs some time (give them two weeks, but you can check frequently) to crawl your website and gather data about it.
When that’s done, you’ll have tons of information from the most important search engine at your fingertips!

Some of the more important figures that you can find in the Google checker:

Site Configuration.
It’s very important to use the right settings for your site. You can manage a lot in here and it’s wise to spend some time figuring out how you want your site to be indexed.

Search Queries
This area of the dashboard reveals some of your main keywords for which Google is displaying your website to searchers. Ideally, you want to ensure that the keywords that you originally chose for your website feature in this list. If not, back to the SEO grindstone…

Crawl Errors
Crawl errors won’t do your site any good for search engine optimization, so you better make sure to clear this area up as soon as possible. If there are any crawl errors on your site, find out where they are, and adjust those links. If they’re coming from other sites, use 301 redirects.

Links to Your Site
This section contains an overview of internal and external links that Google has detected. Coming from Google itself, this is important information. Despite the fact, that it sometimes seems fairly inconsistent, Google usually seems to update these figures at least once a month. Your goal should be to try to grow this figure every month.

At the left side navigation bar, Google checker lists lots of other options, including diagnostics and crawl stats. Take some time to learn what these statistic mean.

To be honest, let me first say, that I don’t use Twitter that much and certainly not as a marketing tool.

But it has been most helpful for me to directly contact my peers and get questions answered in return for my answers to their questions. Some of these concerned Joint Venture invitations, which increased my sales drastically.

For me, that’s the most important benefit of using Twitter. Whereas many use Twitter to send out one-way (sales) messages, I use this social networking site for the most part as a communication device.

To help you be more successful on the site, I give you 10 short Twitter tips to be successful.

1. Be Yourself
   Don’t try to be someone else or to imitate someone. You followers will immediately recognize you as as being fake. You’ll rather want your true personality to appear.
2. Tweet Value
   Make sure that everything you tweet is highly valuable for your followers. You should always try to either inform, entertain or educate your followers. Those are the best ways to add value to your tweets.
3. Tweet Frequently
   This will allow you to be seen and it will also keep you in the forefront of people’s minds. Don’t tweet all day, instead tweet a couple of valuable messages shortly after each other.
4. Communicate with Your Followers
   Don’t just talk at your followers. They’ll recognize that immediately. Instead discuss or give answers. Remember the WIIFM?
5. Therefore: Do NOT Sell
   This will only turn your followers off. If one of them only tries to sell me, I usually unfollow.
   Provide value instead and then occasionally include a link to a page on your site where they can get more info. That’s where you can sell to them.
6. Know Your Audience
   Take some time to get to know your followers. Visit their sites or follow their links. Thus you’ll find out what they want and you may be able to help them achieve that. BIG plus!
7. Increase Your Followers
   More followers means expanding your network and greater chances to be successful. Invite your readers to follow you on Twitter, like I do at the bottom of this post.
8. Be Nice
   You don’t want to offend anyone with your Tweets. Don’t write anything you wouldn’t want your mother or your grandmother to read.
9. Don’t Complain
   Always stay on the positive side tol keep you and your online business in a positive light.
10. Don’t SPAM
    Never SPAM on Twitter. There’s no better way te become unpopular and get kicked off of the site than sending Spam. And it certainly won’t make you any money.

There you have your Twitter tips. Make sure you always follow them and you’ll see the results.

As an extra bonus, here’s my most important Twitter tip:

PLAN your time on Twitter to avoid spending too much time there. It can be very tempting to stay on Twitter all day, answering all kind of nice communications, but I guess you also have work to do. Schedule an hour a day to communicate and then close the site or software program you’re using.

If you’ve ever done article marketing before, you already know that the most crucial element of your article is your author resource box – apart from the headline that is -.

Now, let’s try to boost your article marketing campaigns.
Fire up your neurons, cause I want to take you through a fast three question multiple choice test about integrating massively powerful resource boxes into them.

1. What’s the most important element you must consider when writing your resource box?

a) Your readers are too busy to read them
b) No one is interested in reading resource boxes
c) Nobody cares about you or your business.

The correct answer here is c, nobody cares about you or your business.

Although this may sound harsh, it’s very true.
The only thing other people are interested in is… WIIFM or “What’s In It For Me?” and nothing else. Therefore, you should always talk about the interests of your visitors during a conversation instead of talking about yourself.

Since your article is nothing else but a conversation, so this also applies to resource boxes.

Be assured that while reading your article, your reader doesn’t care about you at that time. The only reason she clicked your promising article headline in the first place was, she thought that in some way your valuable content might be able to improve HER life.

Do you recognize article resource boxes that kind of look like this:

“Lucky Luke manages to stay fit and for the last 5 years he helps others to do the same, and he has a website at…”

Who cares? The resource box isn’t the place to focus on your life!

While writing your resource box, you MUST put yourself in the mind of your readers. Only if you promise them something to improves their life, they may click on your bio box.

2. What should your resource box be centered around?

a) Benefits to the reader
b) Your credibility
c) The problems your readers face.

Of course the correct answer here is a: benefits to the reader.

Your readers are looking for a solution to their problems. Therefore, make it VERY clear HOW they will benefit from clicking your resource box link.

Take a look at the two following examples:

“For more dog training advice, click here.”

“Discover how to educate your dog to know and obey the words “sit” and “stay” in three days”

Based on the benefits these boxes promise, which one would YOU click on?

3. You should always _________ your resource box with your article.

a) Separate
b) Blend
c) Mix

The correct answer here is b.
Adding a resource box to your articles that blend in very well will boost your click-through rates, while a disjointed resource box will decrease CTR.

So… how did you do on this quiz?

The take away from this article should be that:
- nobody cares about you or your business,
- you should definitely focus on your reader’s benefits and
- to blend your resource box in with your article.

3. Then you need a plan. Included in the report are 77 concise mini plans, just enough to give you an idea so that you can decide if they’re for you or not.
4. Next, you need knowledge. A lot of of the plans are pretty easy, but some of them require special skills, like for example Photoshop or HTML skills, or the ability to install a WordPress blog. All these skills can be learned, but that’s NOT covered inside the report.
5. The most important part: you need to take action. There’s no way you’re going to make money online without performing consistent tasks to do whatever it takes to get there. Yes, that means… Work!

Ideally you want to make something on their sales as well too, as they are likely going to be looking for you to help them to become successful. You deserve to be paid for your time and training that you give them.

Make sure to check out the reputation of the affiliates that you decide to become an affiliate for.
Does this program have a good reputation for a quality product and good customer service?
If it something that you can feel comfortable promoting to other people?
Do they stand behind their product if there is an issue with it?

You can find affiliate programs in many different industries, and for many different products. If the one you found does not look too genuine, move on to the next one.
You should have no issue finding something that will work out for you.

Watch for programs that do not pay a decent amount of compensation. Chances are a program that only pays out 5% is not likely worth the time it takes to determine if it is worthwhile.
It is recommended that you look for programs that payout at least 30%.

You also want to see if the program requires you to meet a minimum quota or a sales target. Depending on where you are at with your platform for promoting your affiliates, you likely will want to avoid those. Even those that are having great success may choose to pass them by as well.

When it comes to affiliate marketing, there is a great potential for passive income once you are set up.
Not only can you make money off your own personal sales, but you can earn money off those that you get to enroll in the affiliate program as well.

I see it committed daily. It’s not the product that causes this problem. Oh no, most of them promote a rather good product.

And their credibility isn’t the problem neither. Most of these Internet marketers have all the validation factors needed to seal the deal on a sale.

No, their main problem is…

…that they operate in a jam-pawncked market and that they’re fenced in by thousands of other Internet marketers who offer the exact same services or the exact same products.

Put differently, their selling communications scream “Me Too!”

That’s not the right way to sell on the Internet.You just have to stand out in order to make sales online (as well as offline for that mattter!).
One way or another, you must separate yourself from the flocks of other marketeers who are trying to go after your clients to get money that should be yours. Looking around at what other Internet marketers are doing, and then do exactly the same thing is the precise way you won’t stand out.

In marketing there’s a saying that applies equally well online: rather than to be better, it’s better to be first. If you aren’t established as the dominate source for a product or service you’re selling on the Internet, it will be exceedingly tough for you to actually attract your buyers’ attention.

So if you want to learn anything from this article it should be this: if you’re not first in your category, create a new category to be first in.

Finally, once the sales start rolling in it’s of the utmost importance to set up backend products in order to get the money really rolling. First time buyers are your best customers and the real money is made at the backend.

As obvious as that may sound, lots of people don’t know how to do that.

Like Dave Prentice who writes to me:

Hey Case,
I’m looking for help to get my internet business off the ground.

and then he explains what he’s up to.

I think Dave may have a good product that he wants to promote at alphawavemeditation.com. But it lacks a good sales message.

Writing a great sale letter isn’t that easy. You’ll need an expert to do this and believe me, they’re expensive because it’s a tough job.

Still, you can start out writing by using this easy sale letter sample that gets you on your way.

To write great sales letters, first thing you need is a formula and the most popular one probably is AIDA.
Which stands for

• Attention,
• Interest,
• Desire and
• Action.

The AIDA formula works and that’s why it is so popular. Therefore you should consider using it too, but there are other effective formula’s that you can find on the net. I’ll give you some great resources below.

Here are the most important parts of the AIDA formula that we’ll use in our sale letter sample.

Headline
The headline is used to grab the readers’ attention. It will determine whether your visitors begin reading your sales copy or not. Therefore you should make your headline as good as it can be.

That quite often leads to ‘hype’ headlines like “With this product you can sell pizza recipes to Italian mama’s” or “With this product you can sell fridges to Eskimo’s”.

I personally hate that kind of headlines. Instead, I use the main benefit of the product I’m selling. If you can, make a bold claim, but you always have to back that up in your sale copy!

That’s why I always start writing a sale letter sample by creating a list of benefits. You should do the same and your headline will be your biggest benefit and speaks directly to the person who you want to buy from you. Always remember that.

Most people mix up benefits and features. Features describe what product looks like (things you can touch or see), benefits are how users can profit from those features (feelings).
There’s no one who can explain this better than Paul Myers. Just read “Do You Know What You Need To Know?” and do yourself a big favor and sign up for his newsletter.

Test different headlines to increase sale conversion rates using split testing.

Subheading
The next part in this sale letter sample is a subheading, backing up the headline. The subheading should target your audience and either introduce something that compliments the headline or expand on the headline. As with the headline, it should speak directly to your potential customers.

Body sale letter
The next part you need to include is the body of the letter. This is where you need to get the reader’s interest, make them want what you’re selling (desire), and make them think to buy it (take action).

In general, you first describe the problem (that you’re product is going to solve) and then come with the solution. Follow up with a benefit laden bullet list.

It’s often a good idea to tell a story in the body of the sales letter too, for example when describing the problem. It makes readers recognize and relate to that problem and it will awake a strong desire to have that problem solved.

Closing: Call to Action
The last part of this sale letter sample is the closing.
The main objective here is to get the reader to take action and buy what you’re selling.
Actually ask them to buy what you’re selling. Usually a closing will also include soothing any fears a reader might have about buying from you, like adding a strong guarantee. This will help the reader to take action as well. The closing always includes a signature and a couple postscripts.

Well, that’s in short your easy sale letter sample that you can use when starting out.
Remember, there’s much more to writing great sales letters than just this basic information.

The first question you have to ask yourself is: “do I need the money right away or do I want to build a solid monthly income”.

   Here you can find the perfect affiliate marketing program, cause these directories act like review sites. They accept applications from merchants selling products using affiliate programs. These applications are reviewed and only the best are listed. Usually about half of the total applications they receive are rejected.

   Or they rank all programs in order of quality.

   Thus you can rest assured that the sites that are listed (or are on top of the rankings) are all sites that will make you money.
   That’s a great way to select your perfect programs.

2. Affiliate networks.
   Another excellent way to find the perfect affiliate marketing program.
   They basically are the contact between merchants and you. Affiliate networks list thousands of affiliate marketing programs that you can search for and thus find the right program easily.

   Sometimes there are fees included to use these sites but they often are more than worth it. Commission Junction is one of the most popular affiliate networks.

3. Individual sites.
   Tons of sites that sell anything have an affiliate program that you can check out. Taking this route will take more time and you absolutely have to do your own research, running a chance to possibly make a mistake.

   The main advantage here however is that you usually can get a much better deal. A lot of of the less popular affiliate programs typically offer the best deals.

4. Use software
   Yes, there’s software available to solve this problem.
   It’s called Affiliate Elite (affiliate link!) and that’s a killer piece of software for finding top affiliate programs (as well as finding other affiliates).
   Check it out.

You can use any of these ways to find great affiliate marketing programs. You can use 1 or all 4 of them. It’s totally up to you. Just do what’s best for you and make sure you find the perfect affiliate program for you.

One last word of advice!
If you are promoting affiliate marketing programs, then why not pick the ones that pay a recurring commission? It requires the same effort to endorse recurring commission programs, but they deliver income month after month.
