Shout out to my girl Tiffany of the fabulous blog "Beauty is Diverse" for being an inspiration to so many women when it comes to highlighting the beauty and style of various models and women of color.

Take a hint Essence, VOGUE, Harper's Bazaar, etc...I'm (I think we all are) sick of the celebrity covers! If magazine publishers want to know why their sales are so low, here's your answer...we don't care for the celebrity covers unless they feature someone we like and they can't be repetitive covers of the same celebrity every three months.

The best thing they can do is to feature diverse models on the covers of their magazines with accompanying editorials and their magazine sells just might pick up.

I’m just now getting around to reading the February 2017 issue of Essence magazine online and this editorial featuring some of my favorite creatives, Rog and Bee Walker made me stop in my tracks.

I went to Jamaica and other Caribbean nations in May of last year and I had an epiphany whereas I have no desire to read any mainstream magazines anymore. I didn't want to buy any of the paper ones and I couldn't even muster up the strength to look at the ones I subscribe to online.

With all of our beauty and style being positively presented online ( these two are a part of that revolution) on various platforms, I don’t even need to read or see anything they’re saying or talking about. The aesthetics alone are enough for me.

I want to congratulate Serena Williams on her engagement. The tennis star is engaged to Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, and some folks are deep into their feelings over her engagement. The Notep's and Neverloutionaries are pissed because they think they have lost another prominent black woman in their eyes. Who she marries is none of our business.

The Notep's and their handmaidens have pointed out that Reddit is supposedly a haven for racists, what they failed to point out is that racists are prominent on every platform on the internet, so be truthful with your lies, agendas and propaganda. I believe in all women exercising their options by dating and marrying men who love, respect, honor, provide, protect, build and value them regardless of who they are and avoid those who don't.

FAREWELL PRINCE ROGERS NELSON AKA PRINCE

Prince has died and it hurts so bad, especially when that person is closer to you in age and you start questioning your own mortality. It's particularly frightening when many artists from the soundtrack of my life are dying and it feels like life is moving fast-forward.

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to hear and see him perform at The Essence Music Festival and I will never forget that night. The Superdome was glowing in purple, looking like a purple flying saucer and he asked all of us to dress in purple to commemorate that night. Prince was the ultimate performer and the crowd went wild as he performed his classic hits.

Death is inevitable and all of us will experience it one day, so live your life to the fullest. Stop wasting the best years of your life with people who deduct from your lives and stop worrying about people who hate you. Live unapologetically!!

I thank Prince for the great music and the wonderful memories and may his soul rest in power. His music legacy will live on forever.

Just when I thought I should cancel my subscription to Next Issue Digital Magazines, Cosmo comes out with this fab editorial featuring the stylish Quann sisters, aka Takenya "TK Wonder" Quann and Cipriana Quann of the Urban Bush Babes Blog.

I might keep my subscription after all if the magazines continue featuring African descendant women and other WOC in their editorials. I don't know about that damn Harper's Bazaar, though because they hardly ever featuring anyone worth seeing. They haven't been the same since the Liz Tilberis years and I don't even see how they stay afloat. Enjoy!
