opposite attract just like people with similar characteristics. the only problem is if you are too opposite you can never agree on anything and its hard to share thoughts with someone who sees thing very opposite from ur very. equally>when you are too similar, there is nothing new to bring to the table. it sometimes feels like u are dating urself which results in boredom, feeling suffocated by all the similarities and at the end of the day>it all boils down to half N' half. (u need to have somethings in common but at the same time differ in certain ways. to sum it up => TOO MUCH OF EVERYTHING IS BAD

in my psychology class we had a similar discussion like this and one guy said "am into asian chicks because u can't control a black girl, white girls are too whiny and has her family all up in ur buisness but asian girls can be controlled and even abused and nobody will care because the families are against divorce and strong believers of "for better or for worse", and they will rather cover the situation up than speak out about it. he was hi5ed by some of his buddied... this guy is obviously a pure bred fool, but his perspective has me thinking.

Whurr whurr whurr, sigh...

I guess since that was your "last" post on this I guess I get the last word then huh?

You contradict yourself over and over. Look at your previous posts.....go ahead scroll up. You take exception to my pointing our under Obama's watch unemployment increased about 36% from 7.6% to 10.2%, yet in the same post you say that under Bush unemployment "Doubled" from 4.00% to 7.6!! What gives? Double standard? Using your math an increase in unemployment from 4.00% to 7.6% is a 100% increase but when the president is Obama, an increase from 7.6% to 10.2% isn't 36% it's just an increase of 2.6% LOL

Stem cell research? If you read my post I AGREED with you on what he signed (just about everything in front of him)I just pointed out one thing he didn't. You took that one point as though I'm defending Bush! Please! I am by no means a Bush "defender" or a republican.

As much as you want to blame the president for the unemployment numbers I will still disagree. Just because you say it's because of his "policies" doesn't mean a thing. All laws have to come from congress, period. Now, Obama's own personal "policy" may be something different than what comes out of congress and he may choose to not sign it, but his "policy" can't be enacted without coming from congress. Otherwise, why bother with going through congress in the first place? Of course he could do like Bill Clinton who, when he didn't get his way in congress, signed executive order after executive order (more than any president in history)

LOL, just because people may be asking "What is Obama doing to bring the unemployment rate down"? Doesn't mean Obama is responsible for it. Are you serious when you say that?? Most people have no clue about economics or what causes economic downturns. Economic downturns can usually be traced back to government intervention including ours. We have a transition going on right now from a capitalist system to a European socialist system which has the business community what will be next. Uncertainty rules in America.

Just for the record, I do not have nor have I read any of Ann Coulter's books. I do however agree with much of her opinions, as well as Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. And no I don't have any of their books either. But then I guess if I agreed with someone from the left then for you my opinions would be "acceptable" because they are from the "right" source.

If having a "straight constitutional debate" is what you want, then try reading it. Where in the constitutional does it give the power to Obama to do the things he wants to? Where does it give congress the power to nationalize healthcare? I could go on and on as well. But I think you want your opinions to be "accepted" by those here on this site as well as in your inner circle so you spout the party line instead of coming up with your own thoughts on this topic.

Any time I sit and listen to a women go on and on and trash her ex and I agree with everything she says (which of course I do) - In the back of my mind I’m thinkin “yeah I bet somewhere some dudes got another side to this story” - Hey, my policy is I never talk about an ex and certinly don’t trash her to a potential romance - it’s bad tact, bad manners, and I feel we should spend our time talkin about how bright OUR future could be :)

I am on an interracial dating site to date not "my own". However, I find it very interesting to receive messages from black men even though my profile says exactly what I'm looking for. What's even more interesting is that their profiles say they are looking for non-black women. I'm wondering why they are sending me messages. Ummm...Doesn't that defeat the purpose of being on an interracial dating site.

32Bookworm I know where you are coming from about some of the white guys being here for an experience with a black woman. I too have been approached by men who say they are looking to date and find a relationship in their profile. I get the nice message that says I would like to get to know you better or I would like to know more about you.We chat back and forth on here to get to know each other a little. Then, when We finally exchange emails because he seems like a nice guy and it makes it easier to communicate, he changes to a different zone. At that time he either wants to play online or meet for a sexual encounter. Now what is wrong with this? Well I find that they read my profile and learn the things to say to attract me in hopes that I will fall into their way of thinking. Its always the same thing."Ive always dreamed of being with a black woman, so can you help me out?" The funny part is that I say in my profile that I'm looking for something so different to what I'm approached with...lol.Why do I stay? Well I'm still hoping that one day a real man will come along and leave the games behind. Wow kind of defeated the no games or drama that so often is used in the profiles...lol. I know all guys arent the same and we must be weeding through all the players until we get to the sincere guys...lol. Thats the way I choose to look at it, since I am a very positive person. I believe there is someone out there for every one. I like to compare it to the concept that Noah had two of every thing that was created in this world so I believe it still stands as such thus the everyone has someone for them concept.I know not everyone will look at this way because of the ratio of women to men in the world, but its a nice thought..lol. Good luck everyone and have lots of fun getting there!...lol

PBW's it as nothing to do with inferiority or money JEEEZUZ! The law of the universe plays true in dating/relationships opposites attract. Reason - As a PBM, or I'd like to say PM (cuz race really doesn't matter it's just a crutch to validate ones point of view in life.) When I've worked all week and I go out on a date with a lady, which I'm a southern gent - so I pay, that's how I was raised. I want to be with someone who will stroke my ego a little bit, seduces me with her eyes, and tells me I'm sexy or likes some quality about me, and I compliment her and make her laugh, and why shouldn't I want that? I worked hard, pay my dues; so why wouldn't I want to be with somone that captures my attention - stirs my passions. I feel in that respect she getting to know me, not my title, or my salary, basically she's taking the stress away. Most men especially PM fall for women like that. I hate to say this, but most PW can't do this, when I go out on a date I leave the "P" at work and become a guy. PW never take "P" off and just be a lady or a fun loving gal. Why? cuz PW and PM are the same. At the end of the week a PW wants to go out on date with somone that stokes their ego, just like a PM. And why not? She's worked as hard as I have; so she too should get what she wants. The friction when a PM and PW go on a date is this - He wants to chill, cut loose, and enjoy the present, she looking for the right mate; so she's constantly trying to see what his values are, never or rarely compliments the guy about him, and is always asking him questions about career/work - goals, and to the PM It feels like their at a job interview, not a date. And like I said earlier, PW like their egos stroked too. They don't want to be complimented so much about their beauty, but they like to be complimented as "professional" women - their wit, knowledge. If you want to make'em happy just let take charge. For PM, this equals no "fun". If I were to marry a PW, I would see it as a job, not an adventure in growing together. That's both parties date and marry people of less (This could be income, intellect, social status). Because men and women who are "professional", feel like we have a degree of power and control. We just wield it in different ways.
