			<title>Burning Ambition</title>
<itunes:author>Australian Film Television and Radio School</itunes:author>
			<description>Synopsis
Today is the unveiling of Sydney’s contribution to world peace, The Flame of Hope and the glitterati have gathered at the Opera House for the historic event. A radical design by the ambitious Lily Lent, the Flame will harness the suns energy to create a permanent fireball so great that it can be seen from space – in theory. The thing is, it has never been tested.
Lily’s veneer of self confidence threatens to crack at any time as she deals with the day’s problems, particularly her boss’s paranoia about safety, her ex lover’s interference and her troublesome brother. Burning Ambition is a comedic retelling of the Narcissus myth that asks “does self adoration lead to self destruction?”

<itunes:author>Australian Film Television and Radio School</itunes:author>
			<description>Synopsis
A man searching for a missing piece of himself – a stamp – finds himself caught in a cycle of remembrances past.
Filatelista is an experimental short film that examines memory, loss and identity to create a lyrical meditation on the complex relationship we have with our childhood. Using multiple layers of images, music and non-justified sounds, the film poses the question – can we ever fully let go of our past or will we always be haunted by it, forever searching for an understanding of who and why we are?

			<title>Time of Death</title>
<itunes:author>Australian Film Television and Radio School</itunes:author>
			<description>Synopsis
It is the future and the outlook is high-tech, dangerous and, for virtual coroner Berenger, soaked with crime. It is a world where hovercams patrol the streets, where murder is a government-sanctioned tool and where every fantasy is at your fingertips in the form of simulated adventures which provide a temporary ‘out’ to the city’s inhabitants.
A recovering ‘Sim’ junkie, Berenger is trying to rebuild his life with wife Sara after the death of their young daughter. Despite his job with the police department where he views screen after screen of local killings, it seems like Berenger is starting to get it together again. But Berenger has a secret desire to get back what he has lost… and to do it he’ll need to obtain the ultimate illegal Sim – and in the process, place his job, his wife and his real world existence in the firing line.
A dark and exciting sci-fi drama, Time of death asks the question “can humanity survive the search for perfection?”

			<description>Synopsis
In the aftermath of a horrific and unseen catastrophe in a busy office workplace, three survivors – Scott, Duane and John – find themselves trapped together in the janitor’s closet with nothing but a light bulb and their wits between them.
Outside, a force of monstrous proportions threatens to rip them apart should they be discovered, but inside, tensions are high, tempers are at boiling point and Duane’s watch just keeps on tick, tick, ticking…
