There has been a flood of new and easy day trading phone apps to hit the market in 2012. Beginning at the very end of last year a new breed of free software applications available for download onto popular smartphone devices such as Apple's iPhone and Google's Android mobile operating systems came onto the market.

One of the consistent criticisms of binary options has been the lack of a low risk binary options trading alternative. The very nature of the contract stands essentially as an all or nothing enterprise in which the trader has effectively a fifty-fifty chance of losing his or her entire investment at contract outset. Here we explore a few ways to mitigate or otherwise reduce the riskiness of trading contracts of this type.

The difference between day trading floating or fixed pair options is subtle but important. It is for that reason it is all the more necessary to know the difference before opening a position in either. Given that yields range from 70% all the way up to 450% it pays to know which contract is which and what conditions are more likely lead to a profitable result.

Binary commodities options trading has dropped dramatically for US traders since the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act. Beginning in July 2011 binary option sites began winding down their operations with the last contract going offline at year end. Today US investors do have some alternatives in the commodity space.

When it comes to day trading for beginners, a little caution and education go a long way. When most people start out making trades online they usually have taken a considerable amount of time scratching together a little capital to invest in the market. Then they lose it all or most of it. It doesn't have to be this way.

While many might take one look at the first word of binary options and seize up with fear over a word that clearly sounds like a math or technical / computer programming term, the truth is that these high return investments are far from being complex.

It can be confusing for beginners to learn how to invest in the stock market, but if you are determined to try your hand at investing (or worse - day trading), here are a few things you should think about before making your first trade. Trading stocks involves putting money at risk and can result in loss of your entire investment.

There are reasons TIPS and Inflation are not a perfect match to protect your portfolio from rising prices and costs. The first reason should be fairly easy for the average person to see. Ask any person on the street today how much the price of a gallon of gas has increased today and they tell you, "A lot." Ask Chairman Bernanke how much inflationary pressures he sees in his rate forecast and he has repeatedly said, "not much." Who is right? The answer to that question will have a lot to do with where you decide to put your money in the coming months and years.

High leverage investments such as forex, futures, and options trading carry with them a considerable amount of risk. Still, many investors choose to accept the large amount of risk associated with these high leverage investments because ultimately the reward can outweigh the risks. People choose to take on the additional risks associated with leveraged trading because the payoffs can significantly alter the lifestyle of the winners - whereas normal investments offer little gain for small capital investors.

Any trading options tutorial should cover at a minimum the basic terms, characteristics, and strategies involving these highly volatile securities. While a cursory glossary of terms might serve those who find the stock market a curiosity, a more complete trading options tutorial will cover examples of strategies including calls, puts, hedging, and binary contracts. Further, a more advanced education in day trading would also include a discussion of the impact of forex markets on option securities.

Learning the trading options basics involves a little work studying basic terms, typical contract structure, and investing strategies. Although most books on the subject make the subject seem more mysterious than it really needs to be, the truth is that any option trade payout involves basic math any high school student can do. Making money from an option trade means selling for a higher price than what was paid, just like any other investment. We'll try to de-mystify these contracts a little bit here.

Selecting the wrong binary options broker can result in missing out on either a great deal of incentives or possibly having difficulty making a profit. Here are three ways brokers in the industry compete for the business of day traders.

Knowing how to make money trading is an extremely useful skill if you have a few dollars to spare. The trick is to learn how to get the biggest yield without taking foolish risks. More often than not new traders fall in love with a trade and get stuck with yesterday's hot pick at premium cost.

The carry trade explained as it relates to interest rate differentials between countries is the most common use of the term in actual market practice. The concept begins fairly straight forward like any other investment. Raise capital (either borrowed or equity) and then lend it at a higher rate somewhere else.

Although this type of contract is traded only on a very limited number of securities it offers several advantages over traditional trades, including lower capital requirements, shorter holding period, and a high fixed yield.

Understanding the forex market is important to day trading success. Given the vast amounts of money that move in the foreign currency markets it only makes sense that currency movements have a major impact on stock prices. Day trading on any exchange successfully therefore requires at least a rudimentary understanding of how the forex market impacts asset prices.

Simple investors try to make money trading online usually in one of three ways. The most hyped method is forex (or foreign currency) but in reality that is a losing proposition more than a winning one for average traders. The second most hyped method of making a big splash in the market is investing in gold. This too is more pyrite than bullion however because the devotion to the shiny metal is more of a world-wide religious zealotry than fundamental truth. The other recent really popular movement has been a phenomena called swing trades.

Cheap stock trading may seem like a great idea until you realize the rewards are paltry compared to the level of risk involved. Long time investors have known for some time that investing in the equities market is a woefully inefficient means of deploying capital. The notion that days of day traders directly playing in the equities market are over.

Day trading on the dips with a binary option broker can be risky when done as a stand alone trade but using a binary option broker to hedge against intra-day market movements can greatly improve day trading results. Traders who take long equity positions on dips in the market but can't gauge for certain whether the market has bottomed can use binary put options to get back some of the money left on the table.

Online stock option trading is one of the easiest ways to make money on the internet. Now there can be no question that online stock option trading can also be one of the easiest ways to lose money on the internet. Having said that, here are three ways a person can take advantage of options opportunities in the market.

One of the least known option trading strategies involves the use of a fixed yield, hourly expiration binary option. Although these options are virtually unknown to most traders, they have the ability to create powerful short term returns with no associated transaction costs.

Binary option trading varies from broker to broker but the basic concept is the same: each trade has only one of two possible outcomes. Binary option trading calls and puts turn over extremely quickly - either hourly or daily. Fortunate day traders find their investments landing consistently in the money - and reaping huge rewards as a result.

One simple investment that is catching on these days is called a binary option.
Using high leverage at the right time can make returns from marginally high ROI investments gigantic. The development and general availability of a number of different high leverage investment vehicles has created an entire mini-economy run and financed by day traders. While day trading honestly saw its heyday back just before the dot-com crash, you can rest assured the practice is still alive and well long afterward.

People with money want a high ROI on their invested capital. What that entails differs if you are an investor rather than a small business owner. The small business owner needs to manage his business to achieve a high ROI. A savvy investor on the other hand wants to get as much gain from his or her investment as possible while minimizing risk.

One easy investment popular in day trading circles these days is the binary option. There are a couple of things that make binaries particularly well suited for day trading activities - namely the extremely short holding period (typically an hour), the high rate of return (typically upwards of 60%) and the ability to trade freely without commissions or pricing spreads to worry about. It really is as though someone out there designed these securities specifically for short term traders.

One of the less known high rate investments is the binary options trade. With a typical payout in the sixty to seventy five percent (60-75%) range and a holding period in many cases of less than an hour it is among the highest yielding investments ever created. I can't even begin to try to compute what the compounding rate of return on a binary option would be.

If you are day trading and looking for the highest return investments one often overlooked alternative is the binary options trade. In its simplest form the binary option pays out typically at least sixty percent return on investment. Given the holding period on these trades is less than an hour the equivalent annual yield on such a trade is not even calculable. There are risks associated with these investment positions, such as the possibility of an entire loss of capital on a trade - but then again what stock doesn't pose that risk these days?

No discussion about day trade margin would be complete without taking the time to quickly define margin as it applies to trading accounts - be it stock, treasuries, or leverage forex accounts. To those new to trading with a leverage forex account or other amplified trading account: trading with leverage is extremely risky and can provide very high returns if executed well.

The highest return investments in the financial world always involve leverage. Whether an investor chooses to go with options, stocks, bonds, treasuries, or forex - the biggest winner in any trade will always have the biggest lever. The reason this is true is because investing is a percentage game - the larger your purchasing power, the more income you will produce from the same percentage gain. Multiply your purchasing power, and you multiply the gains (and losses).

Traders who leverage forex make the most amount of money with the least amount of capital. Currency speculators get the benefit of very high liquidity combined with very low margin requirements when they leverage forex transactions. Some accounts require a margin as little as 0.5% of the borrowed amount, a staggering 200:1 ratio. For those not familiar with this concept, this means that an investor with ten thousand dollars in his account could purchase two million dollars worth of foreign currency.

Whenever I want to get a high rate of return (read: always) with a minimum amount of risk I inevitably look for a small, but 99% sure thing gain in the market, then I borrow as much money as I possibly can to increase the amount of purchasing power I have (I use leverage) to buy as many units of that small gain transaction as possible.
Margin trading accounts are used by savvy investors to turn small allocations of capital into enormous profits by using leverage to turn a small amount of purchasing power into a substantially larger purchase. There are a number of ways this type of account is used, but do not let the examples here close your mind to other types of trades using margin trading accounts.

What is a margin account? I get that question a lot from intermediate traders who want to amplify their stock market gains but have not really figured out which direction to go. All investors want better returns with reduced risk, but not all investors have the financial background to know what all of the alternatives are, let alone know which type of leveraged investment will suit them best.

Margin stock regulation is extremely important to the efficient and consistent functioning of financial markets. Many rules have been developed over the years to protect financial institutions and investors from themselves and each other as people try to make money in financial markets. One of the most dangerous areas for the financial system as a whole is leveraged trading, hence the importance of margin stock regulation. Although it is not specifically covered in this article, unregulated trading of this type had a great deal to do with the collapse of financial markets in 1929.

Buying stocks on margin is a highly risky endeavor typically only done by highly experienced, highly capitalized investors who are many times looking to throw their weight around in the market. Investors new to the concept may not be aware that leverage forex, leverage treasury, and leverage corporate bond accounts.

Purchasing stock on margin was very common before the advent of options trading but now the market for leveraged trading is done primarily in the forex and treasury bill markets where the leverage ratios are significantly higher and the transaction costs are small relative to the average size of trades made. Unlike purchasing stock on margin, these days retail traders are increasingly trading on margin in forex leverage accounts. These accounts offer very high leverage ratios with low transaction costs and narrow spreads.

Given the trading leverage afforded to retail investors and the availability of auto forex trading software is it any wonder that the foreign currency market has taken off this year?

Actually getting a lot of different financially related programs to run on the Mac OS can be a bit of a challenge - requiring emulators and such. While programs specific to the Mac OS is required for people wanting to handle personal financial matters such as bookkeeping and what have you, specific code is not required when it comes to Forex trading software for Mac.

The binary options trading system is designed to both simplify the investment outcomes and shorten the investment time horizon. How it achieves this is by fixing both elements rather than permitting open ended results. Consider the standard options trading system - how while it does offer a fixed expiration of the contracts, it does not fix the payout outcomes.

Binary options trading is an exciting emerging field in the world of investing. As the name implies, there are only two potential outcomes in a binary options trading contract - win or lose.
