-A- has once again lost all of its space. This years Catch bash has more guests than ever before-with HBC and NC.'s coalitions leading the charge. -A- is quite flattered at all the attention received this year to grind the correctly labeled "shittiest space in EVE". PVP is abundant and we are having a blast being one of the few neutrals left in the fight.

Curse is a much better home than LGK ever was, (in fact during the DRF war I proposed staging from Curse) with constant PVP and small gang action. Lee Chanka's PL contract is amusing to say the least. Certainly his numbers look decent if considered from fleet fight PVP standpoint, but when you consider he warps at range with Nado's and ganks all day long the numbers are much less impressive. He has taken heavy losses for a concept that should take little to none-but we all remember him when he was in -A- as an FC who consistently took heavy losses.

We have shown up for many fights against both HBC and the NC. coalition. With increasing frequency we are seeing these two coalitions working together-Nulli supers and HBC shooting stations in Catch together or showing up at each other's fights to turn a fun fight into a rout. Considering PL still have NC. +5 and NC. have PL +10 no one should be surprised. PL are blue to every major powerbloc in EVE in their attempt to milk the technetium and to engage in risk-free supercapital warfare wherever they want. Gone are the days of outnumbered fights with superior skill in piloting and FCing in PL.

Many of the HBC have complained about lack of fights versus -A-, despite some of the ferocious fighting in the past few weeks. To that I say-such is the consequence of being blue to so many and hostile to so few. Perhaps if -A- wasn't the only alliance left to pew you would have more luck with fights. "Make believe neutrals" where you are allowed to engage only under certain circumstances and with permission to make sure you aren't violating some condition tramples NBSI in the traditional sense. Unfortunately precious moon goo or the fear of actual threat to sovereignty has led to many so called "NAPs" in which the neutral is maintained on paper but in which real warfare isn't condoned.

-A- is not going to fail cascade or die, but if we did, what major 0.0 entity would be left to fight? After the PL backlash against a simple Thorn Alliance Roam last month (how dare they put PL tech at risk, how dare they) or the skirmishes on jump bridge pos' in Fountain-one can not realistically find anywhere in EVE where risk free pull out all the stops PVP could be conducted for these players. The aptly named "big blue donut" is nearing completion-Solar being the only major entity left that isn't engaged in rampant non-aggression pacts.

As this is EVE and change is part of the game-this political landscape could change overnight. Unfortunately, until bloc leaders in EVE realize that their isk or sovereignty are a means to an end and not the end itself, the blue donut will persist. For now -A- and some of the other non-affiliated southern entities will continue to take the fights we can and rack up the kills.

A Premature Ban

Recently one of MVN's finest (Psyco Groupie) got home from an oversea business trip to find all his accounts banned. Given PGs position in not only MVN but -A- in dealing with logistics and his worldwide travels (affecting his IP addresses) we immediately assumed RMT stink from renters may have been passed on to him combined with IP logs or some other such eventuality. As it turned out, a character he purchased from EVE-O Forums had previously been involved with RMT was the reason for the mass ban. We were baffled at the lack of cooperation from CCP when petitions were filed to ask for review; the fact that PG is a baller in real life who personally raises Icelands GDP with the amout of plex he purchases each year only added to the puzzlement. After demanding another GM (perhaps one more open minded and less influenced by "external" factors) Psyco was indeed correct and had done nothing wrong. They gave him a generous amount of game time for his many accounts and he is getting underway as we speak. I have heard interesting stories floating lately about RMT and MVN-let me be clear. MVN left IT dirt poor. We had 2 bill in corp wallet and our "severance" package from IT was shit. While other corps spent their time in IT ratting in titans and supers to RMT (and continued that tradition in their future alliances...) we were fighting in Fountain. The supercapitals our corp have now have come from our members pockets. With no free isk from technetium guarded by allies on the other side of EVE we have built our supercapital numbers the hard way.

PG had this to say after this whole debacle:

"To all that have asked, CCP finally escalated the petition for Psyco Groupie and his accounts to another GM. PG had legally bought 2 accounts on the forums, and these accounts had previously transferred assets to those owners main accounts previous to the purchase. It turns out that owner left EvE and RMT’d all the isk.

So without actually bothering to check dates for these illegal transfers and when the toons were purchased legally, a Senior GM banned all of PG’s accounts, and refused to provide proof or listen to the clear argument against ‘selling in-game items for real world money’ – For all of you that know PG in real life, you all probably find that part the most comical of all of this (he does well in real life).

While we fully support CCP's efforts against RMTing, in his unholy rage a potentially biased Senior GM overshot his target. We are glad that a thorough investigation by the appeals process has fully reinstated all accounts of PG and has provided substantial PLEX compensation as well as an apology.

It is unfortunate that reckless behavior of single Senior GM can affect an alliance in-game for weeks and mar CCP reputation for impartial customer service process. At this time we eagerly anticipate results of the internal affairs review being conducted by CCP into activities of said GM.

We will keep everyone updated as situation continues to evolve."

Montolio is pretty good at propaganda... but not as good as he thinks. He recently wrote this response to the EVE News 24 article concerning his alliance's financial situation:

I'm not going to link the article because I'd prefer they not get advertising ISK to funnel into gold watches for -A- leadership, but I would like to address the claims.

Yeah because -A- leadership has serious stakes in EVENEWS24. We actually bought all our shares of this publically traded company when they were trashing us during the DRF war.

For starters, the article insinuates that Goonswarm Federation has loaned TEST ISK. This is false, we've had a line of credit with them but it's been untouched. We have a few notable loans from individuals / organizations.

Our various squads and individual members have donated a shitload of ISK as well. Our financial difficulties come from two main sources right now: 1) Expansion into new space (high capital investment and time costs) 2) Technetium speculation and CCP patches. The first is simply something that will go away with time, we've instituted an alliance wide 5% ratting tax for two months to help smooth out the costs associated with that. The second is something out of our control, technetium prices have bounced back up since the patch has gone live but the few weeks of wild speculation damaged revenues. We are working some alternative income sources to alleviate any technetium dependency issues our alliance has, my next State of the Alliance will cover that in more detail.

I think they would try renting out that new found space, except that no one in their right mind would rent right next door to -A- and get dumped on constantly.

Darkos Nightmare, our main money wizard has been working on making the accounting spreadsheet more informative and has started tracking historical data and charting that as well. We don't have the historical data publicly accessible yet, but it will be.

The article is an attempt to poke at our financial data much like we've done with OWN Alliance in the past, the exception here is that we are a transparent organization and we welcome honest scrutiny.

I don't know who Danny Centauri is - his industrial knowledge may be sound but I question his experience with the scale of large organizations and reading investigative abilities. He doesn't mention in his article that our sheet doesn't cover capital expenditures, its too hard to account for those, it only covers recurring expenses and most of it is estimation. We are actually doing reactions like he suggests, but they take time and effort to make profitable. In ~real spaceship life~ things don't work like spreadsheets. Logistics is messy at this scale.

Our community is strong, donations pour in when we need them. We won't be flattened by ISK woes like some alliances. I've been investigating Against All Authorities finances in the meantime, an alliance with which the EN24 owner Riverini sympathizes heavily.

Yeah Riverini seems to sympathize with us constantly. Man, I should pull up some of the old articles from as recently as 6 months ago. Montolio should know better than to fling around accusations like that. But then I consider his audience and figure they will buy it. Maybe he should even sponsor an EVENEWS24 boycott. It can be his "burn Jita" campaign. lol

Against All Authorities has used the 'we are poor because no technetium' line for ages, but this is not the case. Against All Authorities runs a vast renter network filled with botters.

Last time I checked the botters were most numerious in Deklein. But sure, play the botting card. I've used it, DRF used it, CFC uses it, everyone does. A bit of a pubby play for someone as "in" as Montolio but its ok, I am no longer surprised by his bullshit. I choose to grab some popcorn and enjoy the show these days.

Renters with -A- have to hand over a phone number when you sign up, this is so that they can call and harass you if you miss a rental payment.

Man that sounds almost realistic! We don't need phone numbers though... if someone doesn't pay they just get kicked. Besides, can you imagine the long distance phone charges?

They don't reimburse subcapitals at 100%, but they reimburse (or claim to) supercapitals < 2 weeks.

And you can't even reimburse 2/3 of your fleets anymore. Don't throw stones in a glass house bud. Also-supers are reimbursed, fits are reimbursed and bitch, we don't even have tech.

Rumors are abound about -A- paying FCs ~real life~ money in order to stick with them - I have no proof of this last claim, but the fact that the rumor exists just points to the corrupt culture and elitism going on with Against All Authorities.

Well man! If rumors existing point to real corrupt culture and elitism.... I should start making more rumors immediately!!

I sure wish I made money for FCing. Then I wouldn't have to work and could go to school full time for my degrees. But alas, the only gift I get from FCing is posts like this, and the occasional teary eyed jabber ping from TEST leadership.

You should also not call anyone else elitist when you are in bed with PL. But I suppose it doesn't matter, TEST and the CFC in general call anyone who isn't in their band of blues elitist. It creates a nice persona that helps build the "you aren't us" mentality.

TEST doesn't need to pay people to work with us, we don't need to fine people to fight for our cause, we have fun.

Well with no recruitment standards of course you don't need to pay anyone. With 75% of your organization ratting away they pay for themselves :)

Low-Sec

There are many who talk of various improvements to the game. As much as I hate the current sov-system, it works.

Not well, mind you, but it works.

Low-sec, on the other hand, is broken. Severely.

What incentives are there for the life of low sec? For most low sec is simply a place you wave to as you pass it by en route to your real destination. For carebears its too risky, and for pirates its the only place you can go.

As a result-its pretty empty. The life of a pirate is fun but gives no real benefits. 15 minutes of GCC after any kill, penalties for negative security status and the inability to reap any benefits for that plunge.

The first thing I would love to see are gates for pirates. Travel incentives for those -5 or more, usable only by them. They would be "flash points" for warfare and skirmishes between pirates or anti-pirates. Although I don't care about faction warfare much, that same idea could be used as a basis for faction warfare groups as well (fight for control of the gate). The benefit would be an INCENTIVE for being a pirate, instead of penalizing them only.

Also, missions for pirates. Instead of warping to a site or some shit that involves shooting NPCs... Make it a blood sport. "go to X system or constellation and kill 5 people within the next day (not in your corp/alliance". Accomplishment gives you some good isk and encourages pvp not only for pirates to kill bears, but to kill other pirates. On the flip-side, give some anti pirates missions to kill pirates. It gives the newbs an introduction to EVE PVP through the PVE path.

Obviously these are just some quick ideas, and one can poke holes in some of the theorycrafting (like killing your noob ship alt to accomplish the achievement). But you can use it as a basis to try and find some reason for people to LEAVE EMPIRE and for the life of the pirate to have some relevance other than YO BRO I AM -10 I AM COOL.

CCP needs to bridge that gap between PVE and PVP or risk polarizing the community even more between null and empire dwellers.

Also, to those who want 1 kill to make you -5 and one pirate kill to pop you to good standings...

So early on before the fight actually started, some random RA guy started yelling at me in local.

The usual insults about me, my terrible corp, my terrible alliance and la di da.

My response was simply "stfu stupid noob, RA doesn't even have an OP for the defense of their capitol"

I can tell you that -a- & CO russians were not sleeping. For this fight, -A- wanted it more. You can stretch that for a few weeks now, but tonight we saw it more than ever.

GFs all around, props to Shadoo and PL for trying something new, Goons for jumping a long ways to die in a fire in a massive fight.

Battle of LXQ2

-A- formed up for a Stain Empire pos coming out, no big deal. Reports were that dreads were being asked for so we decided to form up tonight. I was originally thinking Tengus, but we decided on Oracles for a more roamish appearance so as to not spook our prey.

We bridged through Hurley and started moving nearer to LXQ2. I was scouting ahead in a Stiletto for fleet (no pimp armor ships in the hangar) and found xdeathx scout one out of destination, so we hid in a side system and waited patiently for the pos to come out of reinforce. We had neutral eyes in system so intel was flowing.

Cyno goes up a few minutes before pos comes out and in comes carriers, dreadnaughts, a couple supers and.... two titans??

I immediately asked in fleet for a tally on dictors and which ones had cloaks. We were a bit light... and I instructed light tacklers not in dictors to switch into dictors once the fight started (Uemon was 2j away). We were ready to grab dreadnaughts, not supers, and as such were light on dictors.

POS was down to 30 seconds when in came the xDeathx fleet. We sent in dictors first, and as they were initiating warp to the hostile capitals we brought in the main fleet. Bubbles went up (the initial bubbled was done by Tek Enetheru, the owner of the POS), and the Erebus and Avatar were tackled. I was horrified to see a couple dictors die immediately, and started moving towards low sec where I put together a terrible dictor fit.

While I was re shipping the Avatar jumped out, but the Bus was on field and going down. WTF and Legion brought in carriers for reps, but we kept them at range as they cyno'd in. Soon enough we noticed PL logging in en masse and knew we had limited time before they came in. We made sure we were ready to bubble their cyno. Erebus was dropping rather fast, and Nulli was on the way with Naga's. Sure enough, the Erebus died about a minute before PL jumped in the usual supercapital fleet. We kept them bubbled out of rep range for the carriers, and NC. appeared to come in shortly after. They sat in a ball, keeping the reps going and such.

The PL and NC. supers were separated from the xDeathx and WTF carriers so we got to work on those. Initially we discussed bailing because fighting a 40ish man supercapital blob with Oracles is kind of pointless, but decided to stick around for the carriers and see what we could do. With Nulli landing on field it gave us more dps to work with.

After wiping out all the xDeathx carriers we started working on the 2 Controlled Chaos carriers on the field, and were working on the second one when NC. / PL warped to a safe towards Planet 9. Figuring they were bailing (which they were) we continued working on the second Controlled Chaos Archon when James told me to warp to him. I initiated warp and as I was landing he screamed for the whole fleet to warp to him. I landed on an Aeon hovering on the edge of a bubble from James, all by himself.

I dropped a second and third bubble, securing the prey while the fleet landed. We set up defensive bubbles around the Aeon and got to work. As it turned out PL had already jumped out, and NC. Aeon was now in trouble. As we found out later, as the order for the supercapital fleet to warp was given, this lone brave Aeon stayed behind and got himself bubbled.

We shot at the Aeon for 5 minutes or so until a cyno went up and in came PL (again). We moved to range and had a discussion again on what we would do. Since we weren't taking much damage at all (no support will do that) we started shooting fighters and fighter bombers, de-fanging most of the supers and forcing those with FBs to keep them docked. We had about 20 bubbled at this time. The decision to bail again was discussed and dismissed and we decided to let this play out.

After 10 more minutes of dancing NC. warped in a support fleet of Rokhs and died horribly. Props for trying, but that was just meat into the grinder. Bombers appeared constantly and were shot down, the number of bubbles far too great at this point for bombing runs to clear.

At this point my eighty bubbles were almost gone, I warped to an elite destroyer wreck and picked up another 60. Word came through that Goonswarm was on the way, and TEST as well. I was also told to beware of TEST, as some of them were in the Goonswarm fleet and coming to shoot NC. and PL, while some were coming to try save NC. and PL.

Talk about confusing.

A few supers that were not bubbled jumped in one-sies over the course of about 15 minutes. Those were the ones that had no order to leave field but were fleeing due to self preservation.

I gave the order for supers to log in, and there was no argument from the other FCs. As if PL heard the order (Comms spies ftw!) all the non bubbled supers jumped within minutes of the order. Left behind were 8 supercarriers, and as Goonswarm arrived they went from being skimpily covered in bubbles to smothered in bubbles.

Our sub caps got to work along with Goonswarm and we focused fire on supercarriers, one by one. Occasionally the oddball Severance, TEST, or whomever was primaried and killed as they shot our dictors. The order for all spies to kill -A- dictors was actually given to spies in TEST and Goons, which was funny.

Rote Kapelle ended up landing on field at some point as well, on the PL/NC. side. Random, but it didn't last as they took some losses and bailed rather quickly.

We never ended up dropping our supers on field, as each supercapital died in turn to sub capitals. All eight died except one-who drifted off the grid (which was spastically screwed up) and was no longer bubbled and jumped out.

I traded ships with a friend and got on one (1) supercap mail in his Loki. My Sabre was so hastily thrown together I had no guns. I dumped over 110 bubbles on those supers though... it served me well.

The fight was wonderful, lasting close to three hours. Props to PL/NC. for not self destructing.

Without knowing the outcome of that one dead titan, I was glad I switched to a dictor, as we lost many dictors and many dictor bubbles to smartbombs due to terrible piloting.

In the end, due to Mukk's target calling, Maka's field coordinating, Kordent's probing and great piloting by our fleet we had a blast.

Nulli was pro (except for that bombing run) and Goonswarm was surprising and helpful. I got repped by Condi Scimitars in that fight on more than one occasion.

Winter Sets in on the Eastern Front

This week has seen some heavy combat on the Eastern Front. Tenerifis burns as -WTF- evacuation is in full swing. -A-, staging from its forward base in DZ6 has launched a blitzkrieg attack on -WTF- and master RA. Although timers have been saved in Immensea and Tenerifis, the victories are overshadowed by the massive casualties taken over several days of fighting. The most recent clash involved a massive fight based around RA + WTF vs -A- and ROL, with RA bringing in titans and supers.

The fight started on the T6GY gate in 46DP. -A- Tengus in T6GY, RA in Abaddons and WTF in Drakes/kitchenfleet waiting with drones out at optimals waiting for the inevitable jump in. Then ROL landed on gate, and -A- jumped in. CCP smiled on 46DP that day, and client disconnects were minimal as the fight started. Several tengu's instapopped while Makalu brought the warriors to range on the gate. RA and their minions switched targets to ROL while -A- moved to range and rained hellfire and brimstone down upon the helpless Abaddons and Drakes. Their logistics died quietly, while Fuufa screamed loudly everytime he died (all five times). Within a few minutes Red Alliance fled the field, WTF running to station shortly after. The fight resumed shortly thereafter in 77S on the 46DP gate, with ROL and -A- left alone with RA for several minutes while Controlled Chaos tried to figure out what was going on whilst docked in 46DP station.

Needless to say RA didn't like being locked in a room with the perpetual gangbang and immediately pushed the flashy red button-and in came several titans with supercarrier support. Makalu, un-phased by this new development continued calling primaries, which included the entire RA guardian complement which driftend into optimals. Eventually WTF jumped in as they finally figured out their masters were engaged, and Fuufa died (again). With KGB agents in place, PK told Makalu to only call RA targets as WTF were rendered combat ineffective by general retardedness and FC ineptness. With the full onslaught of the Tengus focused on RA entirely and their titans completely useless they fled the field yet again, leaving their "allies" on field for another 10 min to get eradicated.

The general RA member found himself in shock as their perception of not only -A- but themselves was shattered by reality. Not only were their pets incompetent, their fleet embarassed-but the -A- they had been told was dying and defunct was in fact vibrant and alive and raping them anally without breaking a sweat.

-A- won soundly, annihilating not only ships but morale of the enemy fleet. The loss only hastened the evacuation already ordered as -WTF- moves deeper in to RA controlled space, even as RA internal drama continues to raise eyebrows.

As 77S armor reinforce counts down, which only days ago was "unthinkable" according to lead Controlled Chaos FC Fuufa, the future of their alliance looks dreary as Sage continues to be a shadow after apparently snapping during a rape session of one of his fleets. How far can an alliance based on mining and ratting retreat before its members choose other homes? PL and NC. are certainly in the picture, as they form for RA CSAA timers (to the delight of the average member) but haven't become involved as of yet in the conflict. Each step backwards brings the -A- USTZ onslaught closer to the northern front in Uemon where Solar is continuing to spit in the face of UAXDeath.

Silent Dodger's pep talk today laughed at the thought of -A- being any real threat to RA, but it came across as more damage control for a floundering alliance. As the snow falls and the chill sets in, the brave soldiers of -A- armed with Tengu's and Drakes push onwards towards C-J. If the fighting so far is any indication, Dodger may be chuckling from a new home within weeks, unless the Hessians are brought in to try and stop the rape.

Patches

The patch scene at CCP was looking up recently.

T3 battlecruisers, beautiful backdrops, aligned stargates and many other small fixes that had players saying "well they finally got it right".

Then last week CCP bent us over and took our money yet again.

Currently I can't take a fleet roaming without losing 1-2 people each gate due to server-side issues that cause your client to crash.

From what I've heard its a handoff error of sorts-possibly due to time dilation. Combined with glitches of all sorts including the covert bridge glitch (if you covert bridge the game thinks your bridge is up eternally until you clear your damn cache).

All these issues have made this the worst patch since Dominion hands down. Currently -A- is running tengu fleets, which means we are absorbing 1-2 bill in lost tengus during a fight simply due to disconnections.

I don't know what the hell is going on in Iceland but I would love isk, some free ships and maybe some game time for all the bullshit we are putting up with currently.

Curb Stomped

The last day and half has seen RA get pounded several times.

first was by Nulli and -A-, which saws some carriers die (and some get out). I FC'd this at 4:30am... but managed to get up in time to run a fleet with Maka.

This fleet saw Controlled Chaos embarassed-and RA embarassed even more. Fight started in 46dp on a jump in by -A- and ROL into RA and WTF waiting.

A few tengus died on jump in-but once we got at range.... the rape began. Eventually RA bailed and WTF quickly followed suit.

The fight continued in 77s-where RA desperately dropped titans and supers to try and compensate for their piss poor performance. Eventually WTF figured out what the hell was going on and undocked from 46dp and jumped into 77s to join the fight.

None of that mattered. In fact we concentraded fire on RA because Controlled Chaos was shambles-they had terrible back up target callers and Fuufa was constantly dead (he was killed 5 times). Most other RA pets re shipped at least 3 times.

Eventually the selective targeting of RA paid off-RA bailed first-after getting their supers off field, leaving Controlled Chaos and other pets to fend for themselves.

Fight with CVA today!

Most people agree that having more than one fc in fleet all working on important pieces of the fleet composition means that you have a great chance at a successful outing in a fight.

Today we took on a CVA gang running through stain. James Kordent was running intel, I was running dictor/scout and Makalu was calling the field.

We knew when they were coming and hid next door to their outgate-cloaked dictor and waited. James fed us play by play, and their scout landed on outgate with me. Perhaps suspicious, I decloaked and bubbled him, forcing him next system (worried he might scout us).

As if on cue (or maybe they wanted my Sabre dead :) <3 CVA ) they spiked local and started warping to my gate. I MWD'd up and cloaked, and Maka brought in the fleet. Their warp was significantly longer than ours, and we both landed on the edge of my bubble. The crucial point was when instead of burning to the gate and jumping they turned around (although in all fairness we had a dictor on the other side too).

I decloaked as they started aligning off and dropped a secondary on their fleet, as did our other dictors. Logistics did a good job and we duked it out.

Their intel didn't know a thing. In fact they didn't even know what happened until I posted the mail in local after we had bridged out and left.

It was in local, in addressbook and never logged off.

BR: Got home from work, we wiped out a fleet in 66-. Canaris and Maka FC'd, and basically lost a couple ships for quite a few sub caps killed. Onlined a couple TCU's while killing theirs (they had like 5 or something).

We babysat for hours, killing idiots in 46dp. We reinforced some POS' and some systems around Tenerifis. Getting late, losing USTZ and RUTZ is waking up... we get wind of hostile form up about 1 hr before onlining. With about 35 sub caps, 2 titans and some motherships we readied ourselves. Hostiles had 100ish sub caps and 15 supers. With 66- spiking we finally got cyno on nulli pos and jumped in our supers. It was spooky, but we approached shields and readied to rep the TCU.

Hostiles landed on POS and the fight began. Maka and I were capping titans and we decided balls to the wall and jumped them into the fight hoping for no massive bumps. At this point the hostile supers had already jumped in, and they primaried one of our Nyxs. He made it into pos in half armor, and they continued shooting our sub caps. Guardians did an excellent job and Maka and I went to town on the sub caps with our titans. Whittling down their sub caps, my Avatar was primaried. Casually I tried to re configure and realized the idiot next to me in a Nyx wasn't configured...

...

Turned out the Nyx duder wasn't even on comms (found that out after the fight). Lucky for me the moment I noticed a ticker up of yellow boxes on that toon I had started approaching shields, and I coasted in at just under half armor. They primaried the TCU and our reps could not keep up. TCU #1 died. We continued fighting, and 2 min later popped a cyno bringing in additional supers to the fight. At this point the enemy FC realized he was in a really bad position due to lack of bubbles, fighting on a hostile pos where primaries can get safe, and the fact his shit was bubbled. We primaried the first Nyx... he jumped out. Second, third and fourth primaries weren't so lucky and stayed bubbled. They died alone, as the rest of the supers jumped out.

TCU #2 onlined, and Nulli now owns the system.

The war in Catch is progressing rapidly. White Noise is finding most of its friends moving on, Raiden to Querious, NC. back north and the other Russian Alliances of the DRF back home.

NYNC's quest for revenge is grinding to a halt much as the German advance did outside of Moscow in WW2.

This week has led to many capital kills, from the dropping of my titan on El Pampa's carrier repping group in Tenerifis to the Nyx kill.

The Nyx kill was especially fun, as we had just lost 3GD6 sov to a titan blob from White Noise, and an unsuccesful bomber run on the White Noise fleet. Intel had reports of a Nyx solo'ing MVN SBUs in Tenerifis, so James Kordent went to check it out. The SBUs were in place from an MVN led offensive on the Irukandji Alliance who had embarked on a land grab a month ago.

The Nyx was indeed in system plinking at SBUs, and spooked by James warped to a safe spot where he was probed out before cloaking. We bridged in and tackled-waiting for a White Noise counter drop from their nearby CTA fleet.

it never came.

Our secondary cyno was put up by me and in came our supercarriers, who ripped apart the Nyx.

Last night I participated in a corp roam, Makalu was a guest and off we went to HED-

White Noise has moved their base of operations to HED- and frankly its a fun place to shoot stupid people. On the way there we snagged a Drake and Arazu camping, and as we neared destination our eyes reported some unusual activity in HED-.

A small Abaddon fleet was formed with some random shiptypes intermixed with what appeared to be triage carriers. Then a dreadnaught warped in to the SV5 gate at range and started shooting a blue... We assumed the Baddon fleet was for us, but were perplexed as we shouldn't have been on the WN "grid" yet.

We were prepping our attack from 2j out when local spiked with a blue fleet... Black Aces and trainee's. This was what the WN fleet had been formed for! We found their fleet on our comms and had them fleet up. At this point the oddball Abaddon fleet had jumped into SV5 and the dreadnaught was back on station... but the game wasn't over. I sent in the original Black Aces gang members (as my fleet was unscouted) and had them warp to HED- gate at 0, and sit point blank on the hostile fleet. I jumped in as well to guide the engagement from my cloaked Falcon. The hostiles sat... who would blink first?

I sent the Black Aces Broadsword through into HED- and had him bubbled up, then told everyone to manually point. WN sat there... not moving.

I then jumped in my gang, showing my Aces High hand. They started to align off, but were pointed. I jumped my fleet through into HED- and had them reapporach....

Finally WN blinked and engaged. My fleet jumped in and with the huge Scimitar composition due to MVN being pro at logi, we held the field and hostiles were taking losses.

Much to my astonishment a White Noise cyno went up.

Ok, so no surprise there.

In came at first one, then 2 then 3 hostile carriers.

Jackpot.

We continued beating the hell out of their support, then when they started deaggressing and jumping back into HED- it was party time. We started on the Chimera, worked him into low shield when me and maka finally agreed that no, this was not some kind of elaborate trap and yes, these guys were simply really bad at EVE.

I popped my cyno, we dropped supers and finished them off.

Kugus has had a little chatter but delve is obviously a hot spot.

Eve News hasn't commented on it at all, and they are hard up for any stories they can get.... which raises suspicions on a DRF payout for "propaganda" reasons.

Fight in C3

C3 Ihub came out tonight. 3 hrs before timer we dropped sbus in CZK, killed a bunch of jagged alliance ships and then formed for C3. With 1 Avatar 1 Erebus and 1 Leviathan (if you count the Levi) along with a handful of supercarriers, we set up shop in jammer pos.

30 min before timer on ihub first few RA start popping into system. Dictor and a Damnation warped to one of our titans and sat there for a 10 seconds. Lossmail later showed cyno on damnation-I'm sure he was trying to light cyno for the RA supers/titans that had just mass logged in. Ooops. Then they warped off, and local bumped 80ish RA. They came in on our pos and died. Lots died. Then they left local for 20ish min. Raiden fell for the decoys set out and was in position to help out the jagged alliance pets in CZK, and were out of position for the initial fight in C3.

Our subcap fleet finally showed up, all 40 of them in alpha shield fleet.

Jagged and Raiden moved over and along with the ra pets controlled chaos and RA reshipped they came back. Fights happened in system on ihub/gate/pos, with our 2 titans (levi didn't count) and our small subcap gang against a hostile fleet size of 150-180 depending on the time. Total fight lasted around 3 hrs, and after one bad warp in we lost most of the what was left of our subcap fleet and decided to call it. Battle was pretty fun, fun to think what would have happened if we had more titans.

To the hostiles-now you know why we don't fight you when you have 10 titans on field.... its just ridiculous how overpowered titans are on battleships at this point.

After almost 4 hours of fighting (and 10 billion in losses), the DRF/pets fleet finally reinforced the ihub.

Also, its been interesting to see DRF in action, or tbh, not in action. They do a about one day of reinforcing a week and then ask Raiden and NC. to do all the work for them in USTZ.

Raiden and NC., being bitches for DRF, do as they are told and form up. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. Also, with the agreement between Goons and DRF, Raiden and NC. have been able to move back south without fear of being hit in the rear by Goons. With their precious CCP Gems (tech moons) secure they continue to serve their masters under the guise of "we just want good PVP"

Raiden, turning down the opportunity to fight Goons to server their masters, has been an example of what not to do in the post-IT Alliance world. Many made fun of Avi for choosing -A-, but look where the political arena has taken us now? Most interesting. At least EVOL joined INIT instead of being someone else's hooker.

MVN is enjoying being a part of -A- and friends, a small coalition that is truly standing against the majority of 0,0 EVE.

CCP Wins Again

The past few days we received reports WN intended to drop a station in T-R. Since CVA was dumb enough to TCU but not ihub the system it wasn't hard for WN to kill TCU and drop their own.

We killed 3 TCUs and WN onlined another.

This one made it and they dropped ihub. Last night we reinforced ihub and our sbus went invuln. According to what we had been told, you couldn't drop a station in a system with online sbus, and ours were invulnerable so we were good, right?

Apparently not. WN dropped station, our sbus are still invulnerable. So, thanks ccp, for one more fail mechanic-stacked on top of the little gems you dispersed only up north which allow for an endless supply of isk.

Funny as that isk stream is, WN has so far gone cheap and hired their pet NC. only. Sort of like outsourcing to Chinese sweat shop workers-their quality is shit but they do make it for cheaper.

We'll see what happens-Solar and XXdeathXX are joining the part now too, as WN and pets can't do it alone :)
