Wet pattern for much of the Corn Belt
The 6- to 10-day outlook for March 18-22 calls for wetter-(snowier)-than-normal weather from the mid-Mississippi Valley to the northeastern U.S., including the Nation's heartland.

More end-of-season soybean rust is popping up. This photo comes to us from Lincoln County, Missouri. (Thanks to LFA John Smith.)

The most recent findings are in Lincoln and Warren counties in Missouri and Suffolk County, Virginia. The incidence and severity levels are low. Scouting has ended in many northern growing areas, but the search continues in southern sections of the U.S. soybean growing region. Overall, there have been 285 counties and parishes in 19 states reporting rust, with 253 of those on soybeans.
