The AGLOCO Viewbar Update #4

The Agloco Viewbar has not been released so far. But the latest news that we've ot from Agloco is that the Viewbar quality test is still ongoing. All the viewbar testing have passed except for the ads servers. From the news i expect that the Viewbar will be release somewhere this month. And i am hoping it could be release by tomorow.

I can see that many of Agloco members has lost their interest in Agloco. But for me, it doesnt really bother me cause im sure that im the viewbar is out, it wil get back to its business. It just a matter of time. Who doesnt want $$$? Right???So just you this precious time to build your network as ussual and im sure that you will not regret it once you get the $$$. You know what im talking about. As for me, even the refferals grow is a bit slow it still grows each day. And i am thankfull for that.

Another news from Agloco is that 1 of Agloco member (John chow) was given an opportunity to test the viewbar. And YES, the viewbar does exist!!!And here are John chow thoughts:-

The AGLOCO Viewbar is real and it does exist. I know because I’m using it right now. Akshay Mavani sent me a beta Viewbar to try out and give my impressions.
The Viewbar software is a 1.8 MB download. When installed, it takes up 5 MB of space. The Viewbar is not any bigger than the Windows task bar. The version I am running shows ads by Google and Google is the default search engine. The ads are not targeted at the moment because it hits only one ad server. The rest of the ad servers have not been connected.

So hold on tight, and have a faith..

Viewbar Update #3

This is the latest update from the Agloco Development Team today. So let just hope the viewbar can be release before end of this month.

Before I talk about Apple, let me give you today’s Viewbar update. As mentioned previously, our delaying item is getting our partners’ ad servers to ‘talk’ correctly to the Viewbar. It requires programming on both their servers and our Viewbar to integrate correctly - not as simple as just signing up for Google AdSense . After that is solved the Viewbar download area will need to be transferred from our test servers to our main site to handle the volume, where we will test it again (when this occurs our main site will be down, but we will give a warning before that occurs). Until the ‘glitches’ in the ad server integration are solved I cannot give a more accurate release date than “days away”.

As to Apple, here was the update from the newswire.
April 12, 2007 (IDG News Service) — Apple Inc. said today it won’t release Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard,” the next version of its operating system, by mid-June as planned, blaming the delay on the iPhone.
I noted that Apple announced a four month delay of their new operating system (just two months from when it was scheduled to be released). Apple is not a startup. People are currently relying on the Mac and developers have been building new applications for Leopard. I’m not critical of Apple (especially being a mac user myself) – I just wanted to use this latest example of how hard it is to get software release dates known and accurate (even for 30 year companies releasing a new version of a product which is 20 years old).

Your overall patience on the Viewbar release is appreciated. Trust me when I say that your desire to see it released is matched, if not exceeded, by the Shanghai tech team and all of the AGLOCO Development team.

Viewbar Updates #2

Good updates from the Shanghai based technical team is that most of the QA tests are going well with the exception of the ad servers. The team is currently integrating the Viewbar with the ad servers so that the Viewbar will have ads (and revenue) ready to go when it launches (it would not make too much sense to release a Viewbar that was not making any money). So just keep on tight as the Viewbar is to be release somewhere this month.

And as you all know that 50,000 Viewbars will be release to those Members that signed up first. And the good news is the plan is to release another 50,000 Viewbars every day until every pre-launch Member has a Viewbar (which means all Members should have their Viewbar within the first 10 – 11 days). This should alleviate some of the fears Members have expressed that they might have to wait weeks or months for their Viewbar.

This is the news that everybody is waiting for. None other than the viewbar updates. So i hope with this updates, more and more people will join Agloco. As for me, my refferals is getting better and better each day with average of 20 refferals per day. And by next month, everybody will get their 1st pay...So what are you waiting for. Viewbar Details
April is upon us, and as we have mentioned previously on this blog, the Viewbar is slated for release this month. We will be sending an email directly to each Member when their account is authorized for Viewbar download with more detailed information regarding the software release. Here are a few initial details:

The Download Process:
As we have discussed, we will be releasing the Viewbar first to Members who joined first. Currently, the plan is to have the Viewbar first be available to Members with ID#s beginning in BBBB to BBBF (as well as Members with an ID# beginning in “AGLO”). This is about 50,000 Members. We will then continue releasing the Viewbar to more and more Members in the order in which they signed up (again, all Members will be notified by email when their account is authorized for Viewbar download).

Multiple Users on One Viewbar:
As stated previously, multiple Members may use the same Viewbar on the same computer. Only one Viewbar download will be necessary as the Viewbar software will enable each Member to log in and log out using their AGLOCO Member ID# and password (obviously, only one Member ID# can be accumulating Viewbar hours at any one time).
Initial Launch for Windows: The initial Viewbar release will be for Windows Vista, XP, and 2000. Later, we will release Mac and Linux versions of the Viewbar. Until that occurs, Mac/Linux users can still log onto any supported Windows computer and accumulate their five hours. Hopefully, five hours a month (about 10 minutes a day on average) on a Windows-based computer can be manageable until the Mac version can be released.

Seamless Updates:
The v1.0 Viewbar is purposely simplistic and minimalist, but it also comes equipped with an automatic self-updating feature. Once you download the Viewbar for the first time, your Viewbar will be seamlessly updated with new additions and features as they become available.
Revenue and Ad Deals: As a member of the revenue team, I am happy to report that we now have agreements with 17 ad networks. These agreements plus some direct advertising deals provide AGLOCO with thousands of advertisers with thousands of ads for the Viewbar software.
Also, AGLOCO had a record day of new Member signups yesterday – just wanted to thank all for you who have been supporting AGLOCO with your continued recruiting efforts.

I've decided to post another info for all the new visitors who haven't been following my blog from the very start. To get the picture of what Agloco is all about.

Part 1
AGLOCO pays its members to surf the web, similar to a company called AllAdvantage. AllAdvantage paid their members over 120 million dollars in two years but ultimately failed due to the rapid decline in internet advertising during the dot-com bubble burst. Six years later and many of the same founders from AllAdvantage have decided to try again with AGLOCO.

AGLOCO builds on the mistakes made by AllAdvantage and has the potential for large economic growth. Firstly, the company is owned 100% by its members. Members are given a percentage of the company based on their membership value. This is the latest news that was posted by Brian (AGLOCO Development Team). And i hope it answers to some of your question:-

Forms of Payments to Members:
AGLOCO will make cash payments to Members in various forms, always trying to minimize costs and balance that with Member convenience. Forms should include bank-to-bank (ACH), PayPal (and similar), credit to cards (like VISA), and checks in the mail. We will also try to pay in local currencies wherever possible (I heard the question on eGold and I do not have the answer yet).

Member Calculator:
If you’ve taken a look at the AGLOCO website lately, you’ll notice that we’ve improved the Member Calculator page based on your suggestions. The mechanics of the calculator are the same, but we have clarified some of the text and added an example to illustrate how it might be used. Let us know what you think!

Viewbar Status:
Here’s the quick report. The good news is that the Viewbar release is currently slated for March. And the bad news is the Viewbar release is currently slated for March.
Obviously, I have two minds when it comes to this. I really want the Viewbar out there. I want Members to start using it. I want advertisers and online merchants using it. And I want to start generating revenue for Members and the company.
On the other hand, I also want more time to get ready for the Viewbar. As a part of the AGLOCO Revenue team, I want to have more time to get more agreements in place so the Viewbar makes more money even at the start.
I hear two minds from Members as well. Some Members want the Viewbar out because it would help in recruiting, and because they are eager to start earning. Other Members have expressed that they do not want it out right now because they want more time to get their networks growing before the Viewbar attracts so much recruiting competition.
Thus my mixed feelings. I will try to keep you posted on this on a weekly or bi-weekly basis until it is released (if I bug the engineers too often, they ‘snarl’ at me).

Equity/shares:
As stated in previous comments, due to legal restrictions in many countries regarding a discussion of a company’s equity/shares, sales, earnings, and other things of that nature, this blog unfortunately cannot address any of those issues. This would also be true if we were Google, Yahoo, IBM, Toyota, eBay, or any other company (basically, all companies have strict controls on making forward-looking statements on these topics).

How much will I make from AGLOCO?
This question has the same legal restrictions regarding “earnings” as equity/stock. There are a number of Member studies and reports out there which give their opinions. I usually find them in a search of Technorati or Google Blogs.

Bill Gates Comment's on AGLOCO

In a recent blog that i read from John Chow, he states that none other then "Bill Gates" has released a statement that he loves the idea of AGLOCO. For those who does not know about AGLOCO (a short for A Global Community), this is the new company that pre launch somewhere in November that are paying their members in company shares and monthly Cash distribution. All you need to do is surf the internet a you normally do and refer other people to join as well.

How it works is very simple. You just need to download a very simple Viewbar that gets placed in your web browser. From there you just need to surf the Internet with the viewbar running for only 5 hours month. This figure maybe change once they have release the Viewbar. AGLOCO is growing big!!Yes it is...From some of the forums i can see that people are getting 19000 refferals..I guess this is the top recruiter for the time being. And trust me this figure will grow. As for me, i have already recruit 58 direct refferals and 121 extended refferals with total of 179 refferals. Its good for a start i guess and i will definitely work harder to get more refferals.

I have joined AGLOCO on the 10th December 2006. All i can say that AGLOCO will be a huge impact to the Internet Business as well as the users. Sign Up Only Once: Each person can only sign up once, creating an account for him or herself, and may not establish an account on behalf of anyone else. Accounts cannot be transferred between people, and each account must be for a physical person.
No spamming: AGLOCO™ strictly forbids spamming to get referrals. This means you can only tell people you know or who explicitly agree to receive your invitation to be referred. If you use spam to try to get referrals, your account will be terminated. For more information, see our Anti-Spam Policy
Number of Internet Hours: The maximum number of payable hours per month is currently 5. Over time, depending on several variables that number may change at AGLOCO™ ’s discretion. Active Surfing: You have to actively surf to earn cash for your online usage. Just keeping a website up does not constitute active surfing. In addition, you have to be an active online Member in order to get the benefit of your referrals' surfing. 5. Do I need to buy anything?

11. Can I give my cash and shares directly to charity?
Yes, you will be able to give your cash and/or shares directly to the Charity of your choice. AGLOCO™ will also work with select Charities so as to facilitate donations. In addition, The AGLOCO™ Foundation was set up to promote free access to information across the world. The Development Team has agreed to tender the shares they earn as Founding Members to the Foundation.

12. When can I sell my shares?
Once AGLOCO™ is public, Members will be free to sell their shares through the stock exchange. (see Cash and Shares).

13. Can I have more than one account?
Membership to AGLOCO™ is limited to one account per physical person. Registering under different names will violate the membership rules, and may lead to cancellation of your account.

14. How do I invite others?
Go to the referral center. It will give you detailed information and a step by step approach on how to refer friends to your network.

15. Why should I invite others?
The more referrals you have the more you can earn and the more powerful your community becomes.

16. Is AGLOCO™ free for everyone?

17. Can I refer someone that is already a member?
No. If someone is already a member, he/she cannot become your referral.

18. How many referrals can I have?

19. Is the AGLOCO™ referral system multi-level marketing?

22. Will it be free to download the viewbar?
Yes, it is completely free to download the viewbar. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, the download time may vary from a few to several minutes.

23. Do I need to have the Viewbar up all the time?
No! Currently AGLOCO™ will reward up to five hours a month in Viewbar time. Above that limit, you can keep your Viewbar displayed or minimize it at any time, though most of the Members choose to keep it up. If you don’t want your Viewbar to operate at any specific time, just minimize it and it will stop working. However, you will not earn online hours while your Viewbar is minimized.

24. Will I be able to minimize the viewbar?
Yes! You can minimize the Viewbar any time and it will stop working. However, you will not accumulate any online hours while the Viewbar is minimized.

25. Can I use more than one computer?
You can install the Viewbar™software on multiple computers and get credit for your surfing regardless of which machine you use. However, you cannot use the Viewbar™ on more than one machine simultaneously. Just download and install the Viewbar™ software on each machine you use to surf the Web.
