Yes, it was really quite a while that I did not write in this Travel Blog of mine.I hope everything is ok with all of you at your end Today is May 6 2011 Saturday in Jakarta. The weather in Jakarta is rather cloudy today. By the way I do not know what to write. I just open my lap top but I feel that I am stuck and cannot think clear. Perhaps this is an indication that I need a Break, I feel that my brain needs some break after working hard last week. But since I do not know where to go I open this blog of mine called Agungss Travel Blog.

My age is nearly reaching 60 Years, but it appears that I am still busy with my work. My friends says that I am energetic, Well, I am just a normal human being who happens to be still working and I feel I need some way to manage my way of life particularly how to operate and run my SACO LAW Firm, where and at the same time I am being seconded and is responsible to lead the Legal Department in an oil Company in Jakarta Indonesia, who is facing its Commercial Production, and also assisting the JME Group in its legal works and aspects;

My firm SACO LAW Firm is associated with my ex Boss (74 Years of age) who is also running a Management and Consultancy firm in the Oil & Gas and Energy Industries so called JME

Life is full of surprises you never can tell and predict. Well, if you work hard you really also need to have a break and travel at least just walking in the streets within your neighborhood and try to release your stress.

The other alternative is by writing in your blog, for me at least, it is also a method to release the stress from your day to day routine work; It is like a therapy for me because you can just relax and express your feelings through your fingers tips dancing and traveling with your thoughts and mind in your blog.

You may also put your radio on, while writing in your blog and listen to the music and watch out from your window the view outside of your house. It is really amazing knowing that you are still useful to others who needs contribution of your skill, which in my case happens to be providing Legal Services and works to protect your Clients needs in pursuing their goal and venture in the Oil Industries in Indonesia.

As long as you are focused and like your professional work you feel that when you are drafting agreement you feel as if you are traveling with your mind and ideas which is really enjoyable and fun for me at least.

But, since it is also within your responsibility how to manage the legal load work in the Oil Company and running your firm at the same time you sometimes feel that you need to manage time and manpower properly to cope with the working load.

By visiting your own Travel Blog at least you can release your stressful mind for a while. Well, you are the one who have to seek ways to face stuck condition in your mind. You must find a method and ways to overcome such obstacles which are blocking your mind. One of my method is just by expressing my feelings in my Blog.

Balikpapan Kalimantan Indonesia

When I was assigned as the Inhouse Legal Counsel in Huffco Indonesia an oil and Gas Company, I frequently went to Balikpapan, East Kalimatan Indonesia. Balikpapan is a nice city, where several Oil and Gas Companies who are operating in Indonesia are having its office at Balikpapan, Kalimantan Indonesia. I usually stayed at Bena Kutai Hotel.

Balikpapan is located East Kalimantan. East Kalimantan is rich of natural resources such Oil and Gas as well as Timber and Coal Mining. There are 2 harbors, namely Semayang and Kariangau (a ferry harbour). The International Airport in Balikpapan is called Sepinggan International Airport..

There are several Oil and Gas Housing Complex where for Huffco (now Vico) is located at Gunung Bakaran. Total, Unocal ( now aquired by Chevron) are also having offices at Balikpapan. If we want to go the the oil and gas fields we usually will take chopper Bell Helicopter 412 or Bolkow from Sepingan Airport. Businessman usually stayed at Bena Kutai during my business visit to Balikpapan.

Balikpapan is having an area of around 94,6 km² and has the population of 535.829 based on data 2005 ril 2005). Balikpapan has a motto "Gawi Manuntung Waja Sampai Kaputing" (bahasa Banjar) which means that if you start doing on something you have to complete the work untuk finish. There is also an animal moto Beruang Madu, which is the specific animal of Balikpapan which now you may no longer found.

From Balikpapan you may also go by car to interesting places such as Bukit Soeharto. I remember also going to Tenggarong in East Kalimantan. People say that if you drink water from the River Kapuas you will go back to Kalimantan.

Meetings with the Government Officials usually takes place in the Local Government Offices located in Balikpapan. You may seek several souvenirs of Kalimantan WoodCrafts at the Art shop and galleries in Balikpapan. Accordingly, there are many businessman and also travelers who are going to Balikpapan, where for travelers they may go and travel to Tenggarong.

Island of Batam

If you want to visit the Land which is nearby Singapore, you may go to Batam. You can go to Batam from Singapore by Ferry. It will take around 30 minutes. Batam is a small Island where the oil and gas Companies who are operating in Indonesia has their logistic Base in Batam. Batam is a Free Bonded Zone Area, where you are exempted from Custom. There are many real estate houses in Batam.

You can purchase the Batam Travel Map from Amazon.com. You may found many nice Sea Food Restaurants in the Batam Island. Many Singaporean go to Batam on the weekends to take a break from the Busy city of Singapore.

As you may be aware Batam is one of the largest islands in the Riau archipelago of Indonesia. Since Batam become a Free Trade Zone in 1898 this Island became busy with all the Stores, Buildings and Logistic Base for the oil and Gas companies operating in Indonesia.

During the previous Government Era, the Oil and Gas Companies who are operating in Indonesia are being forced to establish their Logistic Base in Batam, before they brought their Oil and Gas goods, and Equipments to the Oil and Gas Fields in their Oil and Gas Block Area. When I was assigned as the In House Lgal Counsel in Huffco Oil and Gas Company, I frequently travel to Batam, to visit Huffco's Logistic Base in such Batam Island.

If you want to view Singapore from Batam you can go the Bukit Senyum and view Singapore from Batam.

Traveling To Solo

Well, Solo is a nice and beautiful place to visit. Last time when I visited Solo I stayed in the Sahid Hotel there. It is quite a nice place to stay. I got a Becak and ask the driver to tour me in the City of Solo. For me Solo is quite a silent City. This city was formerly known as Surakarta. If you happen to be in Yogjakarta you just take a train which will take you around 1(one) hour trip.

From the History aspects, please note that Solo was used to be the capital of the Mataram Kings. Thus, this Solo City also plays a significant role to shape the Javanese Culture. You may found 2 (two) royal Palaces in Solo. As a commercial City Solo is the Centre of Batik Industry. It is really a reach traditional heritage of the Middle Javanese Culture which is demonstrates by the many Traditional School Dance, the wayang and traditional Music. Solo is quite a small City for your get away from the busy cities such as Jakarta. The Main Street of the City of Solo is Jl.Slamet Riyadi. You may noticed that most accommodation is clustered around the Yos Sudarso and the A Dahlan streets. If you are interested to see temples, palaces you may go the East Side of Solo. You will notice that the people of Solo tend to be not direct person, such as the People from the East Jawa. Visit Semarang Central JaVa

It was a nice trip going to Semarang for a couple of days. Me and my wife once went to Semarang, where we enjoyed our visit there. We departure from Gambir Jakarta by train early in the morning. The train was with full AC. We arrived around 8 - 9 o'oclock in the morning where we went to Simpang Lima which one of the places in Semarang. We ate in one of the food restaurant which I felt it was so comfort with a traditional feelings. We stayed in a Hotel near the Simpang Lima.

Semarang is an old City, where it is famous for the Lumpia Food. We went with Becak where we asked the Becak Driver to travel us around the Central Part of Semarang. For those who likes shopping there is is a shopping places at the Dekranas Handicraft Shop located at Jl. Ki Mangunsarkoro or buy local specific snack such as as Loempia. Wingko Babat, Bandeng Presto at Jl Pandanaran. You may also visit the herb (jamu) factory to observe the wya of making this Javanese Herbe Traditional so Called Jamu.

You will really enjoy traveling to Semarang West Java. You may kind getting a relax feeling in Semarang., since it is not a crowded City like Jakarta. Based on some sources, you may found some places to stop over where there are several interesting complex of old building with European architecture which were built by Dutch Colonial ruler. For those who likes to visit Museums you may found Mandala Bhakti Meseum and Ronngowarsito Museum. These Museums exhibits historical, pre historical, archeological aspects of Central Java with its extensive collection of artifacts, relics and fossils. The other place you may stop over is Puri Maerkoco where it presented a man made Island of the Miniature of Central Java.

I have experienced traveling to the above Lake Toba, where I went to Sumatera by Ship Tampomas which takes me around 2 Days, and 2 nights if I am not mistaken. It was rather long time ago when I was still a student. I went there with my friend who has a relative with the Captain of the Tampomas Vessel- Ship. So we are allowed to enter and look at the Captain's room and also the place where such Ship was Driven, where we can see the Sea Destination View in front of the Big Window Front Ship. It was really an exiting trip where we arrived at Prapatan. We than went to this Lake Toba.

There are many souvenirs among others the Toba Calender crafted in Bambo. The view fo the Toba Lake is so beautiful as you can see on the above pictures of such Toba Lake. In the middle of the lake there is the Samosir Island where you can found a tomb or cemetry of one of the Kings of Toba. I wish I can travel again to Lake Toba with my family. Indonesia is really beautiful Archipelego where there are lots of places and Islands we can travel and visit.

Jogging - Walking at Senayan Sport Stadium Jakarta

If you feel tired and bored in the office you may try to take the Trans Jakarta Bus way in Jakarta which will cost you only Rp3,500 ( three thousand Rupiah).

There may be some long queue when you start taking such Bus way from Blok M which is the central part of Jakarta. After a while when you are already in the Bus you can feel free and away from your routine work. You may decide to stop at one of the Bus stop at Jalan Sudirman and start walking in the pedestrian side of the Road. If you want to see the Sport Stadium Bung Karno at Senayan you can stop in front of the Softball field at Senayan, and just walk into the Senayan Sport Stadium.

If you are lucky enough you can feel the fresh air and the soft breeze of the wind at the surroundings of Senayan where there are many trees in such sport center. In the morning or at the afternoon or night time you may found several men, women, children, youths jogging or running around the Bung Karno Senayan Sport Stadium.

You may found tennis court, basket sport hall, badminton and jogging tracks at the Senayan Sport called Gelora Bung Karno. For your info this Sport Stadium was build by the Russians Contractors hired by Indonesia
during the Asian Games held in Jakarta in the year 1960-ies. During my youth age I liked to go to the Senayan Sport Stadium to take a swim with my friends at the Swimming pool in Senayan Sport Stadium.

I really enjoyed swimming after coming back home from my elementary School which is really sweet memories for me and my friends.

The Yayasan management of the Gelora Bung Karno is responsible to take care and maintain the condition of this Senayan Gelora Bung Karno Sport Stadium. I have taken some Photos from the below website : PHOTOS OF GELORA BUNG KARNO SPORT STADIUM

which may give you some glance pictures of this Sport Stadium Senayan, which shows and demonstrates that Indonesia was being recognized to held and host the Asian Games during the early 1960-ies.

You can feel the fresh air if you take jogging in the early morning. Well jogging at Senayan is really an exiting travel experiences for you if you happen to be staying at this Sultan Hotel.

Wow. Its already the end year of 2009. Are you planning to travel somewhere this Year End. For you who have lots of monies and End Year Bonuses you may have many and a lot of plans in your mind to start Your Travel. However, how about for you who are are not lucky enough to gain Bonuses in this Year End of 2009. Well, I do not thing that you can not plan to travel in this End Year 2009. Money is not everything. Money cannot buy happiness. Happiness is actually in your mind. Money can buy House, but money cannot buy Home.

Why, can I say that. This is because if your are self employed, which I experience for 11 1/2 Years since June 1998, there are times there are lots of cash in but there are also times where your are out of cash. In each and every situation of such cash flows, you really can learn a lot from such situation. Nobody can force you how to set up your minds and feelings. Feeling and set up of mind is actually controlled by ourselves through all the challenges in life.

Thus you can plan your travel based on your limited budgets which shall be really challenging and exiting. You can take a bus, bicycle, or just walk and travel in the neighborhood which you have never visited and use your mind set and heart to control your feelings. You can also travel on the sites of Blogs of your networks or fans and friends or listen to songs in the radio while you are writing and traveling with your ideas and mind in your blog.

Remember Happiness is in your mind and heart and nobody can steal that precious gift from you.

Walking is Travelling

Click Here!I really like to go home from my office by walking which is around Grand Wijaya and goes to the short cuts at Jl Damai,Cipete, Jakarta Indonesia, and can see the children playing footballs and hear their laughter. It is really spontaneous laughter by them, where they will kick the balls in the small park near Jl Sawo area at Cipete, Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia. By walking you can watch the surroundings of your neighborhood. You will also see the plants and several kind of flowers and you will be amazed that your feelings start to be cheerful, since by walking you also become healthier since your blood will flow and being pump by your heart beat due to the movement of your legs and body which will be good for your health and oxigen flow.

Walking is also a part of traveling since you can watch closely the scene that you cannot watch when you are going by car or bus. Walking in the morning and walking in the afternoon is different since in the afternoon, everybody seems to be ready to go home from their office while if you are walking in the morning people are not yet awaken from their sleep and the fresh air and oxigen is really good for your lungs.

Well, by walking which is also part of Traveling and following the narrow streets and shortcuts in Cipete Jakarta, Indonesia you will found many houses with different type of sizes and models, which will widen your knowledge of knowing your neighborhood condition and life style, and you will also be glad full that you also have a house to live with your family.
From Jl.Sawo you will pass Jl Nangka Cipete, Jakarta and will then enter Jl Fatmawati, Index Furniture which is already near your house and you will keep on walking where you see all the traffic jam of the Cars at Jl.Fatmawati Street Jakarta and you will take around 15 more minutes to reach your house which is at Kompleks Deplu, Cendrawasih, Cipete, or Cilandak, Gandaria Selatan, Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia .... ....wauw it is really a travel from your office to your house by walking

Tips for success traveling in Indonesia

Traveling to Indonesia is a must for person who seeks to find great adventure in their live.

I really like traveling, and thanks to God, I have been experiencing traveling and visiting to several countries around the world.

When I was small I accompanied my father who was a diplomat to many countries among others German, Holland, China, Argentine. In Argentine we watch Gauco who wore traditional Argentinian cowboy with boots and holding a bird catcher in his hand. I love eating the delicious lomo meat.

On our way back from Argentina, we stopped by at Los Angeles, Disney Land and Hollywood, Beverly Hills Hawaii Honolulu where we saw the Beautiful Waikiki Beach. We stop over at Brazil Rio de Janeiro where we watch the Big Statue of Jesus at the top of the mountain, and walk along the copacabana beach. We also visited Tokyo Japan where we enjoyed drinking tea ceremony.

The Publisher also have been to Singapore which is a beautiful clean country and well organized. Singapores is famous with its Sentosa Island and the butterfly park. I also experienced going to Mecca, Jeddah, and Dubai.

In the Year 2005, me and my family travelled to Holland, German, Italy, Swiss, French for 21 days where we went by euro rail train. We bought the euro rail ticket from Indonesia.

We then reserve hotels when we arrived at each places, where we used to stop by the travel information (TI).

Based on the above travel experinced, we noticed that every country has its own uniqueness and beautiful culture and sights.

TRAVEL TO INDONESIA

Well, in Indonesia I have been traveling to Kalimantan, Sumatera ( the Beautiful Toba Lake, and its Batak Calender), Bangka, Irian or Papua, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali, where each city has its own beautiful view, specific culture and nature.

Well, if you want to know how are the minds of the Indonesians are to Foreigners. They really are friendly and most welcome to all foreigners who came to Indonesia.

However, to make your trip to become a success travel you have to understand the warmth, and most welcome people of Indonesia with their smiles and hospitalilty.

The keys to succeed in attracting or capturing the kind attention from the Indonesians are, by talking and speaking to them and say Apa Kabar or How are you ? It will for sure brake the ice communication and shall establish a friendly relationship with them.

The most common Indonesian are used to communicate each other with their hearts, and feelings even among themselves.

So we have to remember, that Indonesians regardless of their ethnics and belief system, usually communicate each other with their hearts, smiles, hospitality just like most of the Argentinian as well as the Italians are.

I am fully aware that foreigners are sometimes more of a an individualistic person.

Thus, if such foreigner who travels or visits Indonesia keeps himself or herself individualistic and closed, the common individuals in Indonesia may capture this kind of attitude as being not warm and sort of arrogant person,. This is actually not intended by the foreigner ?.

If foreigners tries to show warmth and easy with their smiles and hearts, the Indonesian people will response happily and will be mostly welcome such foreigner.

They will consider that such person is willing to accept and appreciate the culture and warmth of the Indonesian people whose language are shaped and influenced with their hearts.

By such above attitude, I will assure you that as a foreigner who visits Indonesia, you will be most appreciated and welcomed by the general common people of Indonesia. This will make your trip and travel to Indonesia to become a success story to be brought to your home places which will last long with sweet memories. This will bound ties between you and the Indonesian common people.

Adventure taking a boat at BANGKA Island

It was really an adventure taking a boat at the Bangka Island South Sumatera with all our friends, going to the sea and eating fresh sea foods.

Indonesia consists of thousands of Islands where one of the beautiful Island is found in Bangka Island, South Sumatera, where the sea is blue as long as your eyes can see. We took this type of wooden boat which is motored with the following show picture below.

This adventure for us who leaves in Jakarta, is really most exiting and is an escape from our routine daily work at the city. It will ease your stress and refresh your minds and mental. Human beings needs to have friends and make some adventure trip once in a while outside its place of work.

Well, Bogor is a small but beautiful city located between Jakarta and Puncak. You can found the Presidential Bogor Palace and Kebun Raya Bogor ( Botanical Garden) where you may found many species of Trees in side such Park. I experienced leaving in Bogor during my childhood for over 9 months, where we stayed at Hotel Salak Bogor.

It was quite interesting staying in Bogor because you may found many bats hanging on the trees at the Botanical Garden. When I was childhood we usually took the rubbers from the Rubber Trees and made rubber balls, so that we can play footballs with such rubber balls. It was really fun and enjoying. Now a days, I do not know whether there are children taking the rubbers from the Rubber Tress.

My school was not so far from Hotel Salak. According to the information we found from the website of Hotel Salak http://www.hotelsalak.co.id Hotel Salak you may noticed that this hotel was built in 1856 during the Dutch colonial era and was originally named Binnenhoff Hotel and since September 1998 was refurnished and reopened with modern colonial style.

I do not quite remember whether this Hotel was renovated during our stay at this Hotel for 9 months in around 1963. But the important thing, is that I really enjoyed my staying at Bogor, West Java, Indonesia because we frequently watched the deers which you may found them in the Park or garden of the Presidential Park of Bogor.

Remembering the Beautiful Country of China

I was still at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade in the Elementary School at the Sacred Heart School in Peking China, in the early 1959 -1962, when I and my family stayed in China, during my father's post as the Indonesian Diplomat in China.
During those period of time all the Chinese people were wearing blue color Cloths, but for me as the son of a foreign diplomat posted in China, Peking was really my interesting part of my children experience. Every afternoon we ice skated at the International Club which was really very exiting for us. I have many friends from such international school coming from various countries such as Burma his name was Kenneth and Charles, from Srilanka his name was Anil, from Yugoslavia his name was Goran, from India his name was Balan, and from Nepal their names were Rabindra and Jitendra. Well at the Sacred Heart School playing music was an obligatory and I had picked violin lesson for 3 years. During my stay in Peking we went to the Tianamen Square and the Great Wall.

We also went to many places where there were many Budha Temples such as the sleeping Budha etc, and we also went to the Summer Palace where I remember there was a lake there. It was really very enjoying for me during that time, since I was just in the elementary school, and thus there was really no burden to me as a child, where we just learn a lot and play a lot with my international friends from various countries among others Yugoslavia, Burma, India, Srilanka during such childhood stage .
There was this Store called Pai Ho Tallo, where diplomats usually went there, since it is sort of a Free Duty Store, but I do not know whether it is still there now. My parents rented sort of a small Bajaj ( I forget the name ), for us as the children to go to our school at the Sacred Heart School Peking. Well that was a brief remembering stories staying in Peking China during my childhood, and I hope that at one time I may have the time to visit China, Peking again.

Sweet Memories in Buenos Aires

Thanks to God, I onced experienced living in Buenos Aires Argentina back in the year 1970
I spent there for 1 (one) year after I passed my high school from the Indonesian School in Wassenar Holland.
What I liked most, during my stay in Argentina is the food called Lomo (baked -beef) and Chinculin, it is really tasty.You can also drink milk with banana, which is very delicious, strange isn't but I remember it is really cool.

During my stay in Argentina I lived with my Father, Mother, brothers and sisters at Marisca Ramon Castilla 3000 Buenos Aires .Yes, the number of the houses in one street can reach the number of 3000. We sometimes watch, enjoy and listen to the Traditional Gauchos Music

where the men are wearing the Gauchos Dresses and wearing sort of cowboy shoes and they played the guitars and this huge big drum.
They performed the dances by sort of step-dancing with their Boots following the beat of the drums.
In the center City of Buenos Aires we may found Plaza de Mayo, which is the well known statutes made in honor of the political and social events that took place in Buenos Aires during May 1810.
From the history we may noticed that there was a bloodless "revolution" which occurred on May 25 with the installation of a local government in Buenos Aires which was not chosen by Spain, who was the ruling imperial power during those period of time.
Full independence of Argentina from Spain was declared on 1816. Until this present moment this Plaza De Mayo is considered as the center of political activity, and many demonstrations have been held in this place.

In the Capital City of Argentina you can found The Presidential Palace which is called La Casa Rosada which means The Pink House. It is located across the street from the Plaza de Mayo.
It was really a sweet memory, and I wish that someday I can visit such beautiful nice place.
I have the impression that Argentinians are very extended family type of people, where when they gather to eat, it will be with a long table, where all of the extended families shall gather and eat the delicious foods where Barbeque Lomo and Chincullin will be their favourite food.
The inhabitants in Argentina is like a "melting pot", where there are many "mix ethnic families" from different parts of the world.
Well folks, those are my sweet memories during my stay in Buenos Aires.

Mei Ching Seafood Restaurant BANGKA South Sumatera Indonesia

If you go to Bangka you must try the below Sea Food Restaurant. My friends ILUNI 1973 IKABA friends from the Faculty of Law University of Indonesia had tried the delicious seafood at this restaurant. The foods are tastefull fishes, crabs, shrimps.

It is really fun and enjoyable having many nice friends who likes to share their stories and share their kindness of friendships between ourselves.

You can imagine we were students at the same Faculty of Law University of Indonesia back in the Year 1973

Now it is already the Year of 2009.
So it had been 36 Years that we have maintained our relations and still keep on our friendships and travel together to Banka Island at South Sumatera, being sponsored by one of our friends who likes to share his happiness with his friends by bringing us all to Bangka Island, where we than visited and ate at this Mei Ching Seafood Restaurant in Bangka.

It is really amazing, and can help you ease your feelings and just look at the cloud and sky and the flowers and plants that are shown in every part of the houses

every moment of your life you have to enjoy it.
Don't ever waste your time by not viewing the scenes in front of you
It could be stones with various shapes or colors
and look at the people they have their own perspective and problems and feelings in their mind.

Interesting Travel To Light House Old Batavia

It was really fun and enjoyable visiting the Light House Old Batavia with our guest and nice friends from Holland.

They really enjoyed visiting this old town

Since our guests came from Holland, they could gave us the stories of the Sailing Ships from Holland during the 1770 ies, where in order to stabilize the weight of the ships journey, ceramics from China were formerly carried, but was latter considered also being valuable goods, which were carried half done from China and brought to Holland to be finished with white blue :"witte blauw" color in Holland.

He indicates that many ships which were carrying spices, made huge profits for the trading Companies, during those period of time, with the risks that several sinking ships as well as human lives and illness are at stake.
This was really inspiring for us, since in a certain period of your life, you have to take certain calculated risks to be able to travel far away from your home town to gain new ventures and new experiences to widen your horizon.
We all like to travel and seek new ventures, that is the reason we had visited this Old Light House from Old Batavia.
Traveling for sure will connect peoples from various countries with mixed cross cultures and will enrich our minds, behaviour and attitude in this one Great World Universe which we are living .

Mekar Sari Fruit Plantation Park, Cileungsi, Bogor, Indonesia

Last week I went with my guests from Holland to Mekar Sari Fruit Park, Cileungsi, Bogor, Indonesia where you may found many fruits plantation such as Manggo, Jack Fruits, guava and other kind of fruits plantation. There were a cubical melons exhibited in the park. We were given some fruits which were tasteful.

There are also outbound and lake in the site. According to one of the visitors during the 7 days after the Idul Fitri Holidays, many Indonesian local tourist were visiting this Mekar Sari Park.

There were really long line Que, where it demonstrates, that the local Tourists from Indonesia can generate income to such Mekar Sari Park.The Train ticket was Rp50.000 ( fifty thousand rupiah) per 1(one) visitor, so you can imagine the income or cash in to such parks where I believe that more than hundreds of visitors had spend their holiday in such park which was green and beautiful during those holidays .

My Holland guests and all of us were very happy, where Theo, my daughter and me had tried the canoe in the lake which was really enjoyable for us.

Apparently Theo, my daughter Tia had won the canoe race against me, while her wife Sandra and my wife Septi were sitting and watching us playing canoe from a distance along the lakeside.

On the way out of the Mekar Sari Park, we had been given some plants as souvenir from the Mekar Sari Park.

How are you all, I hope everything is ok
Have you ever been To Banka Island ? It is an Island in the South part of Sumatera, Indonesia

wauw it is really beautifully, I went to Banka just recently with all my friends from the Faculty of Law University of Indonesia Year 1973.
we are all 44 ex alumni of FHUI IKABA 73 and we did really enjoyed the trip to Banka
the plane took off from Soekarno Hatta and landed in Pangkal Pinang around 1 hour air trip.
It was quite a happy landing where we took the Sriwijaya Air an Indonesian Private Commercial Airline.
after we arrived in the Pangkal Pinang Airport, we went by bus around 1 and a half hour to the Batavia Banka Beaches.
The Beaches in Banka are really beautiful, clean and blue as far as your eyes can see.
you may find big Stone Rocks in the Beaches of Banka.
The people makes their living from Timah (Tin) and Pala.
You may found many Timah Mining operations in Bangka.
According to my friend, you don't find any beggars in Banka Island, because with one can of Tin you can get Rp100,000 (one hundred thousand) rupiah
We can swim and get a jetski, or just watch the beautiful Banka Beachs which is very relaxing and good for your health, since the air in the Beaches is not polluted and your ear shall only listen to the waves and winds which is really good for your lunges.
It is really refreshing in the Banka Beaches
you can just chat with your Friends for hours in the Batavia Banka Beaches
