I was bummed that we couldn't race in the same park that this event was held in last year. But the new venue was pretty bad ass. Everyone thought it was going to be a fast grass crit. I don't know about any of you, but I couldn't ride that course fast. I crashed for the first time (during 'cross) and, even after three or four practice laps I was seeing question marks all over the place. I really love those courses where you can see every part from one standing spot. On this day that spot seemed to be the beer tent, 'cause when I got there both kegs were dry.
