after stpm results

it has been 2 days after i got my stpm results , well my results are not very good and it is actually bad and it makes me unable to go to the government university nearby round Klang Valley. With a Average cgpa of only 1.9175 .

I wonder what can i do ???

should i try my luck for local university ?

or

just go to a college that will just accept my results ?

whichever choice i make of course , i will make sure that i will study hard and try my best as life has to go on .
i hope that i would get to make a decision soon

Paul Soames (John Cusack) go to Shanghai to investigate a murder of his friends and only to find out something more than he bargained for . Starring Chow Yun-Fat , Gong Li and Ken Watanabe in this investigation thriller .

This movie is kinda boring for me eventhough they have Gong Li and Chow Yun-Fat in it but overall they have quite some facts accurate in the movie and it let us know more about the days when the japanese invaded china .

Leonardo Dicaprio is Dominic Cobb who is a thief (not an ordinary thief) but a thief that specialises in stealing people idea when they were dreaming it is known as deception . This makes him a wanted guy hunted everywhere , his only wish is to go back home to see his 2 children . Mr Saito (Ken Watanabe) offer him a chance to do so but only if he complete a job which is instead of extracting an idea into one sub-concious , he need to plant an idea into it hence the name of this movie Inception .

Directed by Christopher Nolan that brough us the 2 new batman movies , i gotta say this movie is really awesome , the special effects are spectacular especially in the Dream-world and the layers of dream within a dream . Sometimes the movie can be quite confusing and it kinda hard to diffrenciate realiaty and the dream-world .

With such good story, nice concept , experienced director and a good gang of nice actors and actress it is no wonder this makes it one of the top 10 highest grossing films last year .

This movie is a tribute to the earthquake that happen in Tangshan in the year 1976 . In this movie its about Yuan Ni and her family that lives in a small apartment in Tangshan . One day the earthquake strikes , her husband dies and her twin children (one boy and one girl) are trapped and she is forced to make a choice to save her son or her daughter ....Spoiler start (she choose her son)Spoiler End .

But the daughter did not die and could not remember anything about her family and she was brought to the army and was adopted by an army couple . Fast forward 32 years later , the Szechuan Earthquake happend and the daughter went for volunteer work and met with his brother .

This movie has a great cast from China with Chen Dao Ming 陈道明，Zhang Jin Chu 张静初 and its directed by Feng Xiao Gang 冯小刚．

Special Features that are included in this DVD are Deleted Scenes , Trailer , Interview With the cast and Behind The Scenes . All of this for only Rm 19.90 so go get it now .

I am sure most of you guys know who is Bruce Lee especially during his years in America and when he was creating and acting in a lot of action movies during the 1960-1972 . But what we are unclear about him is when he is is in childhood years (before he went on to the States) .

Bruce Lee in this movie is played by Aarif Rahman Lee 李治廷 after being famous from Echoes Of The Rainbow 岁月神偷. This movie practically tells us about his childhood , his first love ,his childhood friends and his relationship with his family .

If your expecting a lot of fighting scene in this movie , your gonna be dissapointed because there are not many fighting scene in this movie but you get to know a lot of intresting facts about bruce lee like his nickname when he was little , and he was actually a child star who starred in about 20 movies just beofre he reach 18 years old .

Also they introduce a lot of old actors (althought not the real ones) that were very famous during that time like 于素秋，楚帆，young 冯宝宝.

The Special Feature included in the DVD is the theaterical Trailer , A Very Interesting Behind The Scenes for only RM19.90 .

The Pang brother's are back with their 4th installment of The Eye Series (althought not related with each other) this time this movie would be on 3D making it one of Hong Kong first 3D horror film .

This time , its about Rainie (Rainie Yang 杨丞琳)and friends are stuck in Bangkok due to a riot happening and this causes the airport to close down making them unable to go back to Hong Kong .So they went to a motel and after that the boys starts going missing and they only have one of the orphan and her dog that can find out what happend to their friends .

Actually i wanted to watch this movie is cinema back in october last year but due to time constrain (cousin wedding) ended up not able to watch this movie so i have decided to buy this DVD and watch it at home .

This movie is kinda boring , kinda make me fall asleep halfway through the movie because seriously i cant see anything scary other than chairs moving by themself , dog barking at "invisible friend" and eerie sound effects .

So , you dont have to waste money to but this dvd and thats all till next time

Melissa is back from Melbourne , so we decided to have lunch and movies at One Utama a couple of weeks ago which is also winter solstis festival (22 December 2010) ....... we had lunch at Sushi Zanmai and then proceed to watch this movie above title "Just Call Me Nobody"

the story is about a cobbler 小鞋匠（小沈阳 Xiao Shen Yang) who is out in an adventure to give back a shoe left from a female swordsman 月露（林熙蕾 Kelly Lin）, in his adventure he meets a lot of martial arts expert and finally become one himself .

Overall this movie is funny with they making fun of star wars,笑傲江湖，flirting scholar and some other chinese movies but i kinda feel conned by the poster above with Jacky Wu , Eric Tsang and Mark Lee in it ...they are like one of the best comedien from Taiwan , Hong Kong and Singapore respectively but in this movie they only have short cameo roles was expecting more funny scenes from them .

Bought this DVD at Tropicana City Mall Carrefour for only RM8 since this is an old movie ...made 10 years ago back in 2001 . The best part of this movie is that it has Wang Lee Hom ,Gigi Leung, Sammo Hung ,Yuen Biao and Stephen Fung .

This movie starts on saying that humans can only use 10% of their brain , the remaining 90% is kinda not usable by us but with advancement of technology , they have created "Power Glove" that has the power to unlock the remaining 90% thus making humans more superior .

Special agent Dark, Thunder and War 21 are the only survivors in that experiment. Ambitious War 21 gets evil. He captures Thunder with a power glove and disappears... He has become a fugitive for 20 years .

Two decades later, War 21 comes back with brainwashed Thunder and his underground troop aiming to rule the world. Dark is failed to eliminate them but he realizes Thunder has a son ,Nova(Wang Lee Hom) who also has the DNA, which enable him to use the power glove to challenge War 21.

Actually i have seen this movie 2 times on TV but every time also see until halfway also need to sleep because do until too late and need to go to school . So this time finally can watch the whole movie .

This movie is not bad la for that time got the takken like moves and some chinese martial arts and some cool special effects for that time . Its actually quite believable for that time . So do support Wang Lee Hom ^^

City Under Siege 全城戒备

This movie is about Sunny (Aaron Kwok) who is a circus clown but actually his father is a dagger throwing master but unfortunately Sunny does not inheritited his ability . One day the circus gang found out about a cave left over by the japanese during world war 2 , they decided to use Sunny as a point of exploration . They found gold and also some poisonous gas that will provide them with superpowers .

Overall this movie is not bad , directed by Benny Chan who also directed Rob-B-Hood and New Police Story , he actually feature Malaysia at the beginning of the film which does indeed help us promote our country . Starring also Shu Qi as a reporter , Wu Jing and Zhang Jing Chu as special agents from china who specialize in dealing with mutants .

the 2 agents fight mutants in quite a special way , which is attacking their Acupuncture points with large sharp objects (quite special and chinese huh)

So you should go to your nearest CD shop to buy this DVD ^^

With appearence of Mermaid and zombies and starring Johnny Depp , Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane as Blackbeard , this is a movie worth waiting for .It should be out in Malaysia around May

Today is the last day of 2010 , it has been such a year with many nice movies and some remakes of old movies to make it modern with technology especially 3D technology .So now lets take a look at some of the top 10 Movies in Hollywood in 2010 .

10th placeClash of the Titans

This is a remake of the 1981 movie with the guy from avatar Sam Worthington as Perseus ,Son if Zeus half God , half Human with a quest to battle both Medussa and the Kraken the sea monster in order to save Princess Anromeda . With Liam Neeson as Zeus and amazing special effects it is no wonder why it has made to the 10th place with a Grossing of $493 million dollars . A sequel is coming up in 2012 called "Wrath of the titans" so watch out for it .

9th Place
How To Train Your Dragon

One if the fourth animation film in the list about Dragons (i always like Dragon, i think they are magnificent creatures ) In this animation film loosely based on a children book called 'How To Train Your Dragon"by Cressida Cowell . This story is about a viking tribe that slays Dragons for a living but 10 year old Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) captured a dragon , he finds out that dragon are not actually that bad after all . Due to extremely good grossing worldwide with around $494 million USD , it is no wonder that a sequel will sooner be release in year 2013 , also a third installment was recently announced .

8th place
Despicable Me

This is the 2nd of the 4th animation movie in the list where this movie has a grossing of $539 million USD is about a story of a super-villain Gru plan to steals the moon but he has 3 adopted daughter , so how will he execute his plans ? Starring Steve Carell as Gru with a lot of humorous moments .There will be sequel coming out soon , so watch out for it .

7th Place
Ironman 2

Robert Downey Jr. is back as Tony Stark aka Ironman , in this movie he reveal himself as ironman , a man from russia called Ivan Vanco replicate the ironman technology and create a challenge for Ironman , this movie also marks the debut of War Machine and they work together to defeat the enemies before them . Starring Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow , this movie has a gross revenue of $621 million USD .

6th place
The Twilight Saga :Eclipse

Part 3 of the Twilight Saga , this time Bella (Kristen Steward) must choose between Edward (Robert Pattinson) or Jacob (Taylor Lautner) . (fyi: i prefer Jacob over Edward) .This movie is about Victoria (from 1st movie) coming back for revenge to kill Bella and there is another war going and the werewolf and vampire must work together in order to win . With a grossing of $693 million USD is no suprising with the many screaming fans of team Jacob and team Edward The next movie is the 1st part of the Epic Finale . So catch it next year around December .

5th Place
Shrek Forever After

The forth installment of this movie , in this movie the bad guy here is Rumplestiltkin who wants to seek revenge from before and wish that shrek was never born . Shrek himself is now a family man and misses his days when he is still a orge and feared by the villagers. With Mike Myers , Cameron Diaz ,Antonio Banderas and Eddie Murphy Reprising their roles respectively it is no wonder that this movie has a revenue of $739 Million USD thus placing it in the 5th place.

Inception

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1

The First part of the epic finale of the Harry Potter Series , this time Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) ,Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) does not go back to Hogwarts as previously because they need to find and destroy the 7 horcruxes .With Revenue of around $864 million USD . Lets hope that part 2 of this epic finale would be released soon and fyi it is available next year july 15 in 3D .

Alice in Wonderland

Directed by Tim Burton , starting Mia Wasikowska as Alice , Helena Bonham Carter as the red queen , Johny Depp as The Mad Hatter and Anne Hathaway as the white Queen in wholesome 3D no wonder this movie was in top 2 of the list .This is Alice second time going back to the wonderland as she tries to remember that she was here before . With total grossings of $1.024 Billion USD , this makes it number 2 of the list this year .

Toy Story 3D

The toys are back once again . This time with Andy grown big and leaving for college , he actually wants to keep his other toys in the attic and take woody along to college but Andy Mom mistakenly took the toys and throw it away , the toys thought that they were abandoned and climb into the box to be donated to a day care center . What an adventure they have at the day care center as they try to escape and ended up right at Andy home again and then Andy decided to give away the toys to Bonnie and a very touching ending. With Tom Hanks and Tim Allen back as Woody and Buzz it is worth being the highest grossing movie this year with a total of $1.063 Billion USD.

This is the top 10 highest grossing movies of the year 2010 let us hope that 2011 will have even more better movies and hope that most of them will be available in Malaysia ^^

I would call this app " The Recipe Finder & Teacher "

1) First of all you need to take the picture of lets say a dish that u really like at some restaurant example apple pie down there .

Then u go open the app and open up the picture that u have just taken above .

2) After the picture has been taken , it will search for a few recipes to make the dish that you have just taken picture at and it will display the top 5 most famous recipes in an instant .

3) U can save the recipes as one of your favourites recipes .

4) Later if u want to use the recipe u coulds just open the recipe and learn it step by step

now here comes the best part , as you know baking usually have some failures like cake failed to rise or overburn in the oven with this app here you basically dont have to worried about those problems anymore

6) Example step 1 mix ingredients A and ingredient B together for 5 Minutes in Medium Speed .
So in this step here there u prepare ingredients A and B together and mix it and click "Activate" on the iPad and in the mixer . And this will activate a Countdown Timer for 5 Minutes .

7)After 5 Minutes , an alarm will sound (You can set your favourite music as your alarm)

8)Steps like this will continue until the recipes finishes and tada ...you have your apple pie (or watever your making) ready to eat

Despicable Me

Watched this movie last week with a DVD bought at Tropicana City Mall DVD shop . This story is about a super-villain plans to steal the moon .

It starts off with a guy name Gru(Steve Carell) who heard that the pyramid is stolen and wants to steal the moon to make his the greatest super-villain in the century but when he adopted 3 girls orphan children for his evil plan , things started to change ...........

Overall this movie is not bad with a great storyline and it actually touches you right to the heart and with the "minions"(the yellow creature up there) that help Gru with all of his inventions to execute his evil plans . I am actually impress with Gru actually remembering all of the Minions names and are able to known which one is which because seriously there are just so many of them and the way they talk and react just really tickle your funny bone .

So , just go and buy this Dvd to add to your collection of your movies and it is definitely worth it till then see ya next time ciaozzu .

Days before there is Twilight or Vampire Diaries are the days of real scary vampire that bites people necks to satisfy their thirst for blood . This is about a movie of a vampire hybrid that protect us from vampire

Bought this 1998 movie at Speedy Atria ,Damansara Jaya a while back ago for only Rm7.90 that's real cheap for a DVD . This movie is actually loosely based on a Marvel comic book about a half vampire (human-vampire hybrid) that hunts down vampire to protect us humans .

It starts with a pregnant woman that is delivered to the hospital after bitten by a "wild animal"
delivered her baby then she "passed away"

Fast forward few years later , the baby is grown big already now he is known as Blade or Daywalker (Wesley Snipes) has all the strength of the vampire but none of its weakness hence the name daywalker but too bad he also inherited the vampire need for blood to satisfy their thirst (but he uses a special serum to control his thirst).

In this movie he need to stop Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff) from awaking a vampire god La Magra and blade blood is one of the main ingredient to revive the vampire god .

Overall this movie is quite good with the special effect looks believable with lots of vampire hunting at the beginning although its 2 hours long but this definitely kept me entertain with nice action and cool special effects for a 1998 movie there is also a Blade 2 and Blade trinity but i cant seem to find it at a cheap price ,

Resident Evil Afterlife

Resident Evil :Afterlife

Alice is back ....no not Alice in Wonderland but Alice (Milla Jovovich) from Resident Evil series ....this time it is available in 2D and 3D and this is the fourth movie with the ending indication there will be another movie later .

At the beginning the story begins in Tokyo ,Japan with the T-virus spreading till over there ( i wonder when the virus will be spread here ?) and then Alice attacks the Umbrella HQ over there and end up losing all her powers .

Few months later , Alice is flying a plane and then found Claire(Ali Larter) from the 3rd movie and they travel back to Los Angeles to find survivors and then they found Claire brother Chris (Wentworth Miller of Prison Break fame) .

Overall the movie is pretty good with a lot of action especially if you watch it in 3D (which i did not do so) but i think that the show has too many slow motion scenes and it makes people think am i watching Matrix part 4 instead of Resident Evil part 4 but other than that its ok la

Lets hope that Resident Evil 5 would be out soon ^^

My Soul To Take Review

The day after STPM (16/12/2010), me , hong and keng hoe decided to go to one utama to buy Tickets to go up to Genting (I dint go genting coz of something going on) and dedided to watch Tron Legacy but seriously i though the movie was out the day before so end up watching "My Soul To Take" instead .

This slasher movie is about this guy named Abel Plankov who has this dissociative identity disorder who does not remember killing anyone when he "changes" identity known as the Riverton Ripper.This Ripper here is a serial kiler that killed 7 Teenagers in town. So when he tried to kill his whole family he was stopped by the police just as he was about to attack his daughther and he swore that he will be back to get them all . As they are on the way to the hospital ,Abel managed to escape .

Fast forward 16 years later ,where there are 7 16 year olds are born on the day that Riverton Ripper escaped is Dying one by one .This makes it obvious that the Riverton Ripper is back once again to get back what he earlier swore . This makes us wonder wheather he is back from the death , he did not die 16 years ago or he was death but came back as the reborn as one of the 7 Teenagers ?

Go find out by yourself by watching this Movie at Cinemas near you and this movie is only available in 2D here in Malaysia .

The last day of stpm(15/12/2010) , we went to Keng Hoe house to have BBQ which have only less than 10 person , a lot of people ffk at the last minute . Went there around 7 something and was the second wan to come and they still haven start the fire (swt)

This is one of Chow Yun-Fat Hollywood Movies others like Anna and the King and Dragonball Evolution . In this story he is the monk with no name protecting the scroll that once read out loud will be the world most powerful living being . In 1943 , he was assign to protect the scroll from his master and 60 years later(people who protect the scrool will never aged) , he meet a young man named Kar(Sean William Scott) who is pickpocket that is destined to be the next protector of the scroll after he fufilled the 3 prophecies .

This movie did not do well in the box office with average grossing less than the budget spent on it but overall this movie in my opinion is quite ok la with Chow Yun Fat in it i really like his god of gamblers so that is one of the reason i bought this DVD because there is him in it .

So go get it !!!!

Money No Enough

Is money always enough for you ? it doesnt to me because money will make you wants more and more and there is not a limit on how much money u can own . This story will tell you that money is not everything there is still other things that is more important than money .

It is about 3 person Keong(Jack Neo)that is a white collar worker that is unable to get a job promotion because of a lack of computer literacy and a low qualification ends up heavily in debt when he quits his job,Ong(Mark Lee)who borrowed from a loan shark and ends up unable to pay him back and Hui(Henry Thia) that works in a cofee shop and wants to be rich .

At the end , they are all broke but they manage to open a car polishing workshop together and gets rich again with many branches opening and finally Ong and Hui ran out of money and ask Keong for money and Keong lends them money and end up penniless again .

This is a 12 year old movie written by Jack Neo but directed by Tay Teck Lock in 1998 and was singapore's highest grossing movie with over S$5.8 million and it remains as the highest grossing local movie in singapore till now .

And this DVD is available at all CD stores at less than RM10 ....and it seriously reflect ourself in our pursue for money and have a lot of humourous moments in this movie .

So this is a movie worth watching and just buy this DVD and watch it at home till then ciaozzu

STPM is finally over ....after 1 and a half year of form 6 ...well i gotta say its one of the most memorable part of school life one that i will always remember .

But somehow after one of my classmates Ken Lee mention that the feeling is not as happy as when we have finish our SPM 2 years ago.....well i guess he have a point because really the feeling is very diffrent compared to 2 years ago .....and it makes me wonder why ?

Why is it because we have matured from then ?

or
It is that we have more friends to share the joy with ?(STPM have real little candidates)
or
We have too much public examinations , that the feeling doesn even matter anymore

what is it ? how about you tell me

Well i just wanna say that i am very happy that i had just get over with one of the world most difficult exams just hope that i will get good results , if i failed i only can say that i have tried my best in all of the exams (hello....its one of the hardest exam on earth)

Lastly ....i would like to say that i will miss all of the form 6 no matter upper 6 or lower 6 ....just hope that we will meet again someday ^^

The Chronicles of Narnia : The Voyage of the Dawn Treader or known as Narnia 3 is a film based on the novel of C.S .Lewis .

Went to watch this movie yesterday at Tropicana City Mall with my bro and to check out about the free paint that Seamaster is giving out (FAILED to get the paint) .

Back to the movie, in this movie Peter and Susan no longer return to the world of Narnia (although they do have cameo appearence) only Edmund and Lucy return to the world of narnia this time with their cousin Eustace (who does not believe in narnia)

This time , it is about King Caspian , Edmund , Lucy and Eustace in finding the 7 lost swords from the lords in order to find the lost people that had been use to sacrifice to the "mist"

The movie is rather fast pace and it does not get boring during the whole movie , full of adventures and nice graphics that looks very real with loads of good moral values to be learn like not be too greedy and appreciate what you have instead of always yearning for what you dont have and also some humorous moments .

Overall i give this movie a good thumbs-up and a 9/10 and you should really go and watch it no matter 2D or 3D . The movie is available from 2 December (3D) and 9 December (2D) screening nationwide (Malaysia is very early this time coz other countries open at 10 December) . Go Watch It !!!!!!

Watch this movie on dvd yesterday and bought it at Tropicana City Mall Carrefour that sell it for only RM8 a couple of weeks back and yes its original and a dvd .

This story is about Lee Tin Yun (Louis Koo/古天乐）who is a triad boss falls in love with a aspiring lawyer Mabel(Rene Liu/刘若英） at first sight .And soon Mabel was pregnant with Tin Yun Baby .

When their baby is born Tin Yun is force to married Mabel and they name their baby daughter Hei-Yi (喜儿）and Tin Yun is determine to never let her daughter know that his father is actually a triad boss but as Hei Yi becomes older , Tin Yun realized that this secret cannot be kept forever .

This is really a touching story that prove that fatherhood can actually changes a man from a triad boss to a loving father and husband as they try to keep Hei Yi from knowing a thing about a his father real job from wearing appropriately (suit , tie etc etc) , no bad words and changing a tiger tatoo to a cute tatoo .

You should really watch this movie and be touched by it especially if you are a Louis Koo fan as this movie show how his character evolve all this years especially during his fatherhood years

This is a story of how facebook was actually created and this movie was just released in cinema a couple of days ago (december 2).

Some say that this is the movie of the year but for me , i dont think so because in my opinion it is kinda BORING!!!!.

Spoiler Alert !!!

Story is about Mark Zuckerberg(Jesse Eisenberg)about the idea of facebook that actually does not come from him and facebook was actually another person idea and it is called "Harvard Connection"

Mark stole the idea but did not use the codes of Harvard Connection to create Facebook and it become an instant hit within the harvard community and it became so famous that the person that come out with the idea went to sue him in court .

This movie was actually at the time where the "sue-ing process" starts with a lot of flashbacks about how this and how that happen and finally the outcome is the facebook that we all know today .

The truth of this story is unknown because the Real Mark Zuckerberg call it "fiction" and does not allow any form of advertistment about the movie in facebook .

If u really likes movies with a lot of flashbacks u can go watch the show but if u dont i suggest u dont go
