Sorry to have taken a long break. We're back with Summer Collection 2010. Items will be uploaded over the next week. The pre-order period will end on the 10th July 2010, and self-collection is expected to be by the 31 July 2010 (in CBD area during office hours on Weekdays and Saturday morning).

As with previous pre-order series, we are able to bring you lower priced items (okay, some of you may still find them expensive, but that's quite low in Japanese standard and we are buying straight from Japan) by consolidating orders and reducing our logistical costs.

AhBoy.Com - Monthly Status Report (December 2009)

Another month has passed and the visitorship to AhBoy.Com has doubled, reaching a high of 1,381 absolute unique visitors, an average of 44.54 visitors per day (above my target of 30 per day)! This was achieved despite the recent halt of advertising campaign on Google AdWords. :P All thanks to you guys and gals for visiting this site. Do come back often okay.. My next target is to achieve an average of 50 visitors per day~!

I'll be focusing the next wave of promotion through offline means. Stay tuned for more updates on AhBoy.Com's outreach activities. Recalling what has been done the past month, I've been interviewed by SpreeCrunch.Com - one of the prominent blogshop listing site in Singapore, and have been approached by a couple of student bodies to sponsor our products for pagents and bashes. At least one of them has been confirmed and will upload the photos from the photo shoot session when it's ready.

Preparing for Chinese New Year, I will be organising a preorder CNY SPREE from a list of products, to bring in new year clothing for you guys at more affordable prices through bulk purchases. It's been 1.5 month since the inception of this blogshop and I'm pleased with its progress in terms of queries and sales. I also appreciate the feedbacks for improvements from you guys and gals.

AhBoy.Com has also escalated its search ranking in Google (pagerank) in the past month. Search for "men fashion blogshop", "Japanese fashion men singapore", "Japanese men fashion singapore", "Street fashion blog singapore", "Japanese street fashion Singapore", "japanese blogshop singapore", "singapore men fashion blogshop" and you'll find direct and indirect links to this blogshop within the top ranks.

Recalling what have changed in the past month:

New logo and appearance of the Blogshop to portray a youthful, energetic, and trendy feel
Addition of instant messenging capability so that queries can be attended to instantly
Categorization of items in order to enable visitors to access by type of items instead of having to browse the posts chronologically
Added the Search gadget to enable search within the blogshop
Expanded the range of products to include belts, workpants, shoes
Introduced one-time offers where I'll throw in free items with purchases every now and then (irregular) to promote revisits to the site. I'm considering freebie without purchase as one-time offer...

Up and coming in December 2009:

For your info, it is actually part of a high school student's school uniform for summer. I'm not selling the top as I don't think it suits Singapore's weather and it'll be odd to donning on and walking on the street.
