This was the most intimate wedding. All that attended loved each other and were happy supporting Nicky and Josh as they married at Aramoana last Friday. Nicky is smitten with Josh and Josh is head over heels for Nicky. A perfect combination. AND… Don’t we live in THE MOST beautiful part of the world?

My gosh! I can’t believe it’s the end of January. I have been busy this month having a little holiday, working a lot, spending time with my family and planning for the year ahead. We spent a wonderful week in Karitane at the beginning of the month. It was lovely and close to Dunedin which avoided the dreaded all day trip with 2 mini-devils in the car causing trouble. The kids loved the beach at Karitane and the horses in the field next door. Leo even got to pat one! As you can see, they had a ball and loved playing with each other.

This New Year’s I have made all of the same resolutions as everyone else…lose 10Kg, exercise more, be healthy, have more time for myself. Along with that I have resolved to be a better photographer. I wish to explore different styles, locations, lighting and editing techniques. I also want to create some pieces for my home of my kids. I do this already but this year I want to tell a story with them. I want to include items from our trips to the beach, park and even “Mummy’s Shop” as Frankie calls it.
