Employment Type: This is a full-time position. Location: This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Grade: This is a grade 1 position. Last Date to Apply: 18th January, 2021. The Role: Supply Chain Officer will be responsible in managing commercial inventory of Telenor Pakistan. S/he will be working closing with other finance domains, S&D teams and Suppliers in ensuring timely arrangement of stock end to end. This position is located in Islamabad and reports to Manager Business Planning and Operational Excellence. Your Impactful Goals will include: • Timely arrangement of stock • Completion of end to end stock readiness process • Timely Stock distribution in market • Bring innovation, more insights into the way planning is being done and worked upon • Have constant liaison with stakeholders in Commercial, Technology and Finance How will your Typical Day look like: The typical day would include simultaneous execution of one or more of the following deliverables: • Demand management of SIMs and Scratch card on week to week basis • Timely arrival of shipment and maintaining log of stock in systems (internal and external) • Monitoring life cycle of stock and using strategies to increase efficiency • Data bank maintaining for Raw IN and Serial Numbers in systems in a month wise format • Generation of scratch cards, Easy cards of all denominations and Monitoring Activation • Scratch Card bi-monthly report i.e. average issuance, total available and total activated according to number of days • Nationwide stock distribution in a pre-defined manner • Arrangement of by hand deliveries (HFC) from warehouses • Order processing of E-Voucher and maintaining data base of E-voucher • Reporting these numbers monthly to TSS • Acquiring timely Alert from devices team and Liaison with 3PL for shipment alert and receiving along with maintaining pre-alerts record in tracking sheet • Maintaining Retail Dashboard for the management view Your Career Path: Being a part of the Supply Chain team, the candidate will gain: • Understanding of Supply Chain • Opportunity to interact with group and management • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to convert numbers into insights and decisions • Robust presentation & communication skills The candidate can eye a potential growth path in Sourcing & Supply Chain, other finance teams and planning roles in other divisions. Education: • Bachelors or Masters degree in business and/or finance • Certifications e.g. CIPS/CSCA Work Experience: • Industry experience of Minimum 1-2 years in any analytical/Planning roles Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas: Following are a must-have for the candidate: - • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) • Good planning skills such as variance, trend, forecast and driver-based analysis • Ability to dig deeper into details to understand the ‘drivers behind the numbers’ • Excellent communications skills with proficiency in Verbal & Written English language • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize/deprioritize on-the-go • Self-drive ability and motivation to undertake responsibilities and work without supervision • Ability to bond and adjust within the team and department despite WFH protocols • Motivation to learn, explore and stay flexible in the way of work • Good Time-management and follow-up skills Why should you join Telenor?
