The 100 Day Project is beginning again. I participated last year and I was really pleased I managed to see it thru to the end. This year my 100 Day Project will be drawing and/or painting for 100 days. Some people like to get more specific but I find I do better keeping it less specific its more about me doing something each day for 100 days!

Long time no blog Peeps!
I was feeling burnt out, and took some time off to just be and create. I'm feeling like I'm wanting to share my art again :-)

Here's what I've been doing recently:

Finished a fabric patch swap. Below are my patches. If you haven't participated in a art swap I highly recommend finding a group and giving it a try...if you google art swaps there are sites that have sign ups. I've been lucky enough to belong to a group of ladies that I've known and trusted for a long while.

I've also been creating one of a kind mixed media canvas postcards using my whimsical drawings. Here are the ones I have left for sale in my Etsy shop. I have several made to order postcards I'm working on right now.

Here's a couple of valentine's I made our grandsons

I used the Sizzix Owl Die. Instead of the wings

it punched out, I used aluminium tape stuck to

card stock. I then free hand cut a heart

then cut the heart in half for each of the wings.

I cut a plain black owl for the back and glued

the pieces front and back to a box of

conversation hearts.

A Little Eye Candy...

Home is Where The Heart Is

I'm enamoured with kitschy vintage campers

that a lot of women are fixing up and taking

Glamping. In honor of, wishing I had one

of my very own, I decided to do some camper

art instead :-)

I've created a few more Chunkyville houses to

go with my other ones HERE.

And last but not least is my

finished chalkboard globe.

I've had a strong desire to alter

a world globe for awhile now

I have several I've picked up

at garage sales, so I finally just

plunged in and spray painted the

globe with spray gesso and then a

couple of coats of chalkboard paint.

The base of the globe and the arm I covered

with some leftover art papers from my

recent art journaling workshop.
