Mesa, we live in Novaliches and my brother works in Pasong Tamo. &nbsp;He works on weekdays and looks after dad on weekends. &nbsp;I went to visit him whenever I can. &nbsp;I have tuberculosis and avoid contact with him. &nbsp;I get tired easily too. &nbsp;Dad is so lucky he got his siblings, nieces and nephews to take care of him. &nbsp;Auntie Susie in particular rarely miss a visit day.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /> </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I was contemplating on going to Boracay for 6 days as dad was in critical condition prior to this trip. &nbsp;He almost died and we all said our goodbyes. &nbsp;We also went to the extreme of buying his burial clothes just to be ready but he was able to cheat death and beat his Pneumonia.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /> </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">With confused mind, I went ahead and go to Boracay with Luke. &nbsp;It was my much needed break. &nbsp;I took the risk being ostrecised for my sanity. &nbsp;We went to <a href="http://theclosettravelblogger.blogspot.com/2011/11/white-beach-boracay.html" target="_blank">White Beach</a>, <a href="http://theclosettravelblogger.blogspot.com/2011/11/puka-beach-yapak-boracay.html" target="_blank">Puka Beach</a> and <a href="http://theclosettravelblogger.blogspot.com/2011/11/ariels-point-buruanga-aklan.html" target="_blank">Ariel's Point</a> this time. &nbsp;We also dropped by <a href="http://theclosettravelblogger.blogspot.com/2011/11/club-balai-isabel-talisay-batangas.html" target="_blank">Club Balai Isabel </a> for 2 days. &nbsp;Luke learnt how to say <i>malamig na tubig, chicharon, balot </i>like a vendor. &nbsp;It's very obvious that we've been commuting a lot. :P &nbsp;I thought him to say <i>bayad</i> and<i> bayag.</i>&nbsp; I kept on saying <i>aray</i> too which pissed Luke off. &nbsp;He learnt so much tagalog on this trip, I'm so proud of him! &nbsp;I &nbsp;wish he can fluently speak learn tagalog so I don't have to speak English forever 24/7. &nbsp;:P</span><br /> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /> </span><br /> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Going back from Boracay is a challenge. &nbsp;Cebu Pacific cancelled our flight and gave us the 17th of Nov option, we were supposed to leave on the 15th, Roxas the next day or chance passenger on the same day. &nbsp;We choose Roxas and chance passenger. &nbsp;Luckily, despite the drama, we arrived at 9PM the 15th. &nbsp;:) A funny thing happened before we boarded the flight, Luke was weight and an error message appeared. &nbsp;Now I know that the scales limit is 100kgs. &nbsp;I love you babe! &nbsp;xxx</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b><u>Puka Beach</u></b> </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b><u><br /> </u></b></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; standards but he was wrong. &nbsp;It was better than T House in my opinion. &nbsp;The room was very very spacious, the toilet is massive too and we had a very nice view of the garden. &nbsp;For 2990 going on hols is not allowed during this period. &nbsp;I told you,<i> di makatarungan. </i>This is why I don't bother asking. &nbsp;I'd rather not call work for 2 days and accept whatever disciplinary sanction they are gonna give me than explain the situation to them. &nbsp;They won't understand. &nbsp;My absence will affect the groups productivity. </span></div><div style="text-align: sans-serif;">It was a struggle to go to Tagaytay. &nbsp;First, the driver can't find the bus station and he kept on insisting that we go to a different bus station. &nbsp;When we finally did, he dropped us to the wrong station. &nbsp;Second, we were on storm signal number 1 that day. &nbsp;I hate my feet getting wet and I was turning into a bitch again. &nbsp;:P</span></div><div style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">T House Tagaytay is very easy to find. &nbsp;We took the first tricycle that we saw and asked them to drop us off to T House. &nbsp;The check in went smoothly. &nbsp;I was a little disappointed with the room size. &nbsp;I felt a little claustrophobic. &nbsp;They only have the basics - toilet, shower, bed, cable TV, A/C, telephone. &nbsp;No wardrobe, just a rack in the toilet where you can hang clothes. &nbsp;No safe to put your valuables. &nbsp;The room smelt of mint though. &nbsp;It was very nice. &nbsp;Basic toiletries were provided too(shampoo, soap and toothbrush). &nbsp;The best thing about the place was the food. &nbsp;I recommend the turon. &nbsp;:)</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" I've seen the reviews and I wanted to go myself and check out the place. &nbsp;I wasn't disappointed. &nbsp;It reminded me of my trip in the floating market in Thailand. &nbsp;I was very much relaxed oldies to be in bed but they weren't. &nbsp;I told Luke jokingly that he had to do the filo rights of passage - chopping woods, fetching water, the works. &nbsp;I just love seeing his reactions to anything stupid that I say. &nbsp;Oh life's little pleasure(at the expense of Luke). &nbsp;:P &nbsp;I expected Nomeng to be talkative but she weren't. &nbsp;She said she was speechless. &nbsp;Granny on the other hand asked all the basic questions. &nbsp;When I say basic I mean, "what's your name?", "how old are you?", "where are you from?" - I am not even kidding. &nbsp;It was funny. &nbsp;Luke's visit had her worked up. &nbsp;<i>Humukay talaga ng Ingles si Lola. </i>&nbsp;I was making fun of her but she told me that at least she is trying. &nbsp;She asked Luke if he can speak tagalog. &nbsp;He said, a little. &nbsp;He said <i>Oo, Hindi, Bakla</i>. &nbsp;We all laughed when he said it. &nbsp;Can't remember teaching him that. &nbsp;LOL!!! &nbsp;We were knackered when we got in last holy week when my grandma's cousin died and today when I went to my aunt's. &nbsp;Mama Elen was my mum's older sister. &nbsp;She was 71 when she died. &nbsp;I didn't know about her death until I called my cousin Lorraine at work and she asked me if I'm coming to Mama Elen's wake. &nbsp;Work is making me an outsider in the real world. &nbsp;It makes me question if working 6 times a week is still worth it. &nbsp;Sacrficing time with away from family and not getting paid enough. &nbsp;To be honest, I didn't realise that it's gonna be this hard when I took this job. &nbsp;I have big dreams for myself. &nbsp;I wanna work in a massive company, get experience in my chosen field. &nbsp;Everyday I question myself why I signed the contract. &nbsp;Regrets but I have to wear my big ladies pants supposed to go to a affordable spa place in Congressional but I can't find the spa. &nbsp;I am pretty sure that I am in the right place but I can't see any signs pointing me to the place. &nbsp;Frustrated I left and went to the first parlour that I saw. &nbsp;Big mistake. &nbsp;I should have done more research before I went. &nbsp;It's only 300php an hour so there ain't much to lose praying the whole time for a clean non spa-kol place. &nbsp;It wasn't. &nbsp;It just that the service was horrible. &nbsp;I was greeted by a bored looking receptionist. &nbsp;When I told her that I wanted Shiatsu, she said okay. &nbsp;She asked to fill up something and took me to the room. &nbsp;I commented on how big the place was. &nbsp;She didn't say anything. &nbsp;She turned on the air conditioning put the light on the brightest setting then left. &nbsp;When the masseuse came back, she asked what I wanted. &nbsp;I told her Shiatsu but she told me to get Swedish instead as she is not so good with Shiatsu. &nbsp;Defeated, I said okay. &nbsp;Although I am settling for less, at least I am settling for what she knew how to do. &nbsp;</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span Massage is different with the Thai Massage that I had in Thailand. &nbsp;It involves a lot of stretching. &nbsp;If I have to be frank, it's not for people with little tolerance to pain. &nbsp;My massage was hard that I was scared that my bone might break. &nbsp;I kept on moving my big toe to check if I can still feel sensation on the lower part of my body. &nbsp;She was pressing so hard on my class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The company day fell on a Monday and I did work til 7:30PM that Sunday. &nbsp;I was home before 10PM and woke up at 12 midnight. &nbsp;I couldn't sleep. &nbsp;I was scared that I might sleep through my alarm. &nbsp;I met up my colleague at 3AM to get to Buendia before 4AM. &nbsp;We were scheduled to leave at half past 4AM. &nbsp;We make it through the deadline and was in Batangas by 8AM. &nbsp;Arlene and I slept through the trip. &nbsp;I was still tired when I woke up.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span program was short. &nbsp;It was started with a prayer followed by the "folk" dance competition, loyalty awards then finally lunch. &nbsp;My branch lost but I was happy seeing the result of their &nbsp;When I saw her for the first time in years, I introduced myself but she can't recognised me. &nbsp;She asked what my surname is and she said that I am not from that area. &nbsp;Gasan locals surnames starts with <b>S</b>. &nbsp;I told her that my mum is called <i>Champoy, </i>her daughter<i>&nbsp;</i>and she recognised the name at first. &nbsp;After a minute, she asked who my mum is again and denied ever knowing anyone called <i>Champoy. </i>&nbsp;It is heart breaking to see her in that state knowing how strong her personality was. &nbsp;Having dementia brought her good and bad things. &nbsp;Losing her dementia means losing her bad memory. &nbsp;She looks more at peace now. &nbsp;She is more approachable. &nbsp;I still remember being scared with her growing up. &nbsp;Too strict, to disciplined - complete opposite of my granny(dad's mum). &nbsp;My grandma had horrible mood swings whilst I was on my visit. &nbsp;She was approachable on the first day, difficult to deal with on the second day and was shouting on the third day. &nbsp;She is still healthy though and can still walk. &nbsp;:)</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" ages and I can't remember spending Holy Week there. &nbsp;I do know about Morions though. &nbsp;I was surprised how traditional they are. &nbsp;They had <i>Aglipay </i>procession on that Thursday. &nbsp;<i>Karos</i> were beautifully decorated, the life sized statues dressed in colourful gowns and the devotees followed their <i>karos</i> - they prayed the rosary whilst
