Marvel Studios is sponsoring a Global Twitter Chat on Tuesday (TODAY), January 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. (PST) (1pm CST, 2pm EST) (Hashtag #Avengers) with cast members and the director of their highly anticipated action-adventure “Marvel’s The Avengers,” opening in theaters on May 4, 2012. The 30-minute live tweeting event features writer/director Joss Whedon and cast members Tom Hiddleston and Clark Gregg. (Just annouced, Samuel L. Jackson is joining the chat!!!)

Fans around the world will be able to participate in the Q&A on Twitter by using the @Avengers handle and the #Avengers hashtag. Participating fans will have the opportunity to see a 10-second tease of the 30-second Super Bowl spot that will air during Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 on NBC. They will also have a chance to answer “Avengers” trivia for a chance to win “Avengers” prize packs.

International fans will be able to submit questions for the talent in their native language through a global translation tool provided by Ortsbo.com. The chat will be moderated by Marvel’s @Agent_M.

Our four year old son get's to have his first Valentine's Day at school this year! I was so happy that the children in his PreK class are exchanging Valentines and they are having a party in his classroom! I also get to bring some sort of treat for him to share with his friends! I am sending sugar cookies and probably individual boxes of candy hearts, since they are our son's favorite. We bought Valentine's Day cards for him to fill out and give to his friends a few weeks ago. I had no idea that I could have ordered them online from Tiny Prints! Here are a few of the designs that I liked on their website!

Tiny Prints has Sponge Bob Valentine's Day cards, Dora the Explorer, The Wonder Pets, Photo cards, and more! The more I looked, the more cute and unique designs I found. I honestly couldn't pick just one design that I liked. My two and a half year old would love the Dora and Boots card you see above! Dora and Boots are her favorite!

My Five Mom-Inspired Driving Tips:

When you are driving somewhere with your family, please remember my Five Mom-Inspired Driving Tips. I am always worried about myself and other moms driving on the road and at the many distractions we face today, verses twenty years ago.

1) Make sure your children are securely buckled in their car seats.
- Sometimes I let my four and two and a half year old climb into their own car seats, and then I go to open my door, and remember that I forgot to buckle one, or both of them in. Very rarely does this ever happen. But every so often my four year old will scream at me "Mom, you forgot to buckle me in!"

2) Don't let anything, or anyone distract you from driving.
- Don't have the radio up too loud. I know that when I am driving in the car with my children, that I sometimes forget to do this. But we should all keep our radios down this way we will be able to hear any emergency vehicles, police cars, or trains crossing the train tracks.

- Let your cell phone ring, or your cell phone beep when text messages come through. You can check it when you stop at your destination, or you can find somewhere safely to pull over to check it. More and more people are talking on their cell phones and driving, and they are causing some major accidents on the road. Just today, my neighbor, and older woman, was holding her cell phone against her ear with one hand and smoking a cigarette and trying to steer the car with the other.

- If your children are fighting, screaming, or crying in the vehicle, then find somewhere safe to pull over before you reach, or look in the backseat to try to deal with them.

3) Listen to your own Woman's Intuition
When you feel uneasy about making a right or left turn, or about driving through an intersection right when the light turns green, then wait a few seconds. Double and triple check the lights, and where the other vehicles are and where they are going. Then proceed through the intersection or make a turn when you feel that it's safe to do so.

4) Always check the weather before you leave your house.
- This way you know if you and your children need to be wearing jackets, rain boots, mittens, etc. Plus, you will know what to expect while your driving, rain, snow, sleet, hail, tornadoes, or the bright sun. I know that sunlight brightly reflecting off of another vehicle can be blinding at times, and make it hard for me to see where I am going.

5) Always keep an emergency kit in each one of your vehicles.
- Make sure this kit includes road flares, matches, flashlights, batteries, a small battery operated radio, jumper cables, blankets (one for each person in the vehicle, twin size or bigger), bottles or gallon sized jugs of water, grocery bags, a few rolls of toilet paper, snack foods, and whatever else you feel might come in handy for you and your family. We always keep blankets in our vehicles for us and our children. We live in middle Tennessee, and you never know when you might get stuck on the freeway, in a snow storm because of a major accident. Once your vehicle is parked and there is no where for you to go, you are stuck, and your heater isn't going to work forever, especially if it's not going anywhere.

Pillsbury Egg Scrambles and Grands! Biscuit Sandwiches Review and Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 2/5 (Rafflecopter)

Have you tried out the NEW Pillsbury Egg Scrambles or Grands! Biscuit Sandwiches yet? I have! I really like the Grands! Biscuit Sandwiches the most! I tried out the Sausage and Cheese ones, and they were really good! I also tried the Pillsbury Bacon & Veggies Egg Scrambles!

Other than the biscuits being a little soft, the Pillsbury Grands! Egg & Sausage Biscuit Sandwiches were good. There was more than enough cheese, eggs, and sausage! One of these would fill you up for a big snack, breakfast, lunch, or a late night snack!

The Pillsbury Bacon & Veggies Egg Scrambles were flavorful. The eggs were perfectly cooked and not soggy or watered down. The potatoes were perfectly cooked too! I wasn't too fond of the onions and bell peppers in it. There also wasn't enough bacon in it for me. The portion size was perfect though!

One major issue I have with the Pillsbury Egg Scrambles and Grands! Biscuit Sandwiches is the sodium content. I didn't feel that there needed to be 1,100mg of sodium or more in them. That's a lot, and pretty much my daily allowance of sodium. I didn't feel so great after eating and trying them out, as my blood pressure went up, which makes me not feel so well. I won't be purchasing these again to eat for my family or myself. But if you and your family have little, to no dietary restrictions, then please try them! All different selections of the Pillsbury Egg Scrambles and Grands! Biscuit Sandwiches are pretty good.

More and more infants are getting really sick and dying from getting meningococcal disease (meningitis). We really need to make sure that everyone, young and old, is vaccinated against this disease, especially young infants. Below are some facts about meningitis:

- Aside from injuries and neonatal complications, meningococcal disease is among the leading causes of preventable infant death in the U.S. Approximately 50-60% of these cases are vaccine preventable

- Recent CDC estimates reveal that meningococcal disease incidence is three to seven times higher in infants under one year old than in any other age group, and the highest risk for meningococcal disease is during the first seven months of life

- Approximately 1 in 16 infants who contract meningococcal disease will die from it

- There are more deaths from meningococcal disease each year than there are from pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella and rotavirus disease – all infections for which infants currently receive vaccinations

Did you know that ALL middle school, high school, and those going to attend college should be vaccinated for Meningococcal Disease? I didn't know this either, but I will be making a note of it for when our children begin middle school to have their vaccination records checked to see if they are up to date or if they need new ones.
