This pistol is everything you need if your not looking for fancy trade marks! The accuracy and range on this gbb can pass alot of aegs out on the market with .28g bbs. The gun has 14rounds is single stack ambidextrous safe selector switches serrations front and rear white 3 dot combat sights and an under-mount rail for accessorizes. The ns2 system puts out 350+fps and can go through 50 rounds with a good charge of gas. I couldn't ask for anything more from this pistol other than trade marks, thats the only con for this side arm.

KWA ERG

I came across KWAs website the other day to look for more information on a rumor about an aeg that has recoil to the equivalent of a gas rifle but able to take all aeg magazines. The rumors are true they are going to release a series called ERG (Electric Recoil Gun)that can use 30rd magazines that lock the bolt back when empty or you can use regular aeg magazines for the high capacity. This is extremely exciting to me because it adds more realism to the sport and adds more of a challenge. Honestly though a Tokyo Marui was the best gbb Ive ever shot and I want a new one but I am just stuck on which style to go with. I love 1911s M9s and P226s which Marui makes all of. I really love the sigs but I heard they have valve knocker issues and magazine issues. I love the M9s but they just aren't very customizable. The 1911s I have clones of by the truck load so I think I am going to go with the P226 and eventually add a guarder full metal stainless kit. Most people automatically think bolt action because it is designed for sniping. This isn't always true especially if guns like the we m14 keep coming out. Aegs aren't often seen as a sniper platform because to play on fields they have to be converted to semi auto capability only and people just find that its to complicated. If you decide you want an AEG sniper platform you'll have a few advantages. With an AEG sniper you can keep shooting with out ever removing your eyes off target, you can send a few rounds down range and you have the availability of using many more different magazine types. If you can build an AEG sniper then life will be much easier then a bolt action. But the bolt actions can have more power right? No you can upgrade an AEG to shoot much harder the bolt actions. Yes it is very costly but it is very much possible because there are plenty of people who have done it!The thing about bolt action is the feeling but it takes time to build up the skill to use one.

What Weather Can I Play In?

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hey guys this seems to be a fairly common question from people to what weather they can play in and at the end of the day have your gear work. The most common climate seems to be "can i play in the snow?". I had a nice match this previous weekend in a wintery mix. i used a Co2 mag in my kjw Beretta since green gas doesn't like the cold all that much. That turned out fine along with my 2 aegs and bolt action. Obviously the bolt action was fine since there isn't much to it but most concerns are for aegs.My 2 cents is to keep your equipment in good condition by releasing the spring and cleaning before and after a game. I believe it will be fine as long as you keep your equipment in top care and you don't play in extreme conditions. A drizzle or short snow showers shouldn't murder your aeg.

Stag Ar Platform

The image is of a real steel Stag arms model 5 6.8spc. Cosmetically they very hard to tell the difference from other than the trademarks on the airsoft stand out as they are white to make them pop a little but more and mine is ABS plastic because I didn't purchase the full metal version. The dimensions are exact as they both line up from muzzle to butt stock. And the rails can use each others iron sights! I ended up buying my Echo 1 for an age and to see how<br />
Close it was to my AR and its exact same trade marks other then then airsoft is modeled after the 5.56 as to the 6.8 spc. Short stroking is basically reducing how far the slide goes back on your pistol which helps in recoil and faster cycling/ROF. The down fall to this is that when your out of rounds the slide will not lock back. It isn't to hard figure out how much you can use to allow the gun to cycle properly but it takes a lot of trial and error which can be very time consuming. I have figured out a cheep simple way that works perfectly on both of my TM compatible 1911s one single stack and one double. If your 1911 is not TM compatible i can not guarantee perfect cycling but it could still work and you will understand the concept. First you need to do a basic field strip of you GBB and set everything aside but your spring guide set up and recoil spring. It should have already a rubber ring to act as a washer and a thin metal washer. You are going to replace these with small lego tires. The small treaded type or the small smooth type. I used two small treaded tires on my guns you can use one small smooth tire. You then replace the metal washer on top then the spring and put the gun back together.

Airsoft IPSC Shot Counter App

I came across this nifty app yesterday on my iPhone and thought I'd share it with you. This app is for counting and timing the shots you take until you hit stop. You can use this to time home trial IPSC, practice, or even how long and how many shots to clear a room. This can be used for airsoft and real steel! It is very adjustable for sensitivity, delayed starts, random starts, and for different environments to account for echoes like indoor an outdoor setups. It took a mag or two to figure out adjustments on where I want it with my gbb project gun but well worth it. I can actually just clip my phone on to my pants hit random delayed timer and go till I'm clear then hit stop. The best part is that it is free! So this little app gets a 10 for 10!<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj98q-X2BLEAAqcYXKhLhjPXzOCTsJ7JZOPsau9cEY1K8oqACWS0dAthEEfT_MXX22CX93zb0B0j42RwUT4oIt79ye-oRmlcvRsrtsn7PpJh3sDqDT3kjjy5rNhJEIOkzCqVT_dI3Q21LU/s640/blogger-image--343425349.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj98q-X2BLEAAqcYXKhLhjPXzOCTsJ7JZOPsau9cEY1K8oqACWS0dAthEEfT_MXX22CX93zb0B0j42RwUT4oIt79ye-oRmlcvRsrtsn7PpJh3sDqDT3kjjy5rNhJEIOkzCqVT_dI3Q21LU/s640/blogger-image--343425349.jpg" /></a></div>

KJW Sig Sauer P226

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This will be a review of KJW's GBB replica of the Sig Sauer P226. For starts this gun is fully metal and has licensed trade marks. The trade marks just add that finishing realistic touch. This weighs pretty darn close to the real steel and yes i have shot a real P226 which makes me even happier to see how close they are externally. This is also a Tokyo Marui compatible gun making spare and aftermarket parts very easy to get a hold of. The gun has a functional decocker along with the slide catch. The gun does shoot over 300fps but under 350fps. Magazine holds 26 rounds and is double stacked. All of the trademarks are accurate to its real steel big brother. I rate this 9.5 out of 10 because my mag valve craped out when I shot it in the cold and the sights aren't removable like the Tokyo Marui. This is a great workhorse/skirmish gun.

Matrix Tracer Unit/Silencer

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Now that the holidays are over hopefully I can get back on track with my blogging! This post is going to be a review on my matrix tracer unit. The matrix tracer unit is the exact same as Echo1 and Big Dragon. The unit is threaded for counter clockwise (lefty tighty righty lefty loosey. The tracer runs on 4 AAA batteries and has an easy accessible switch that doesn't stand out. When you get your first experience with a tracer you cant stop wasting ammo it is a very cool experience. I use .20 matrix tracer bbs through mine and they glow as bright as I could ask for and the ammo is the cheapest but not crappy where it will damage or jam a tight bore. The combo I use has 100% satisfaction performance for me. The only complaint I have is that this is my second one but my first one did get abused. The tracer does give off muzzle flash when its on and a bb goes through which could be a negative but I believe it adds to the realism. I rate this a 7 out of 10 because it could have more detail in textures or trademarks and have more durability. The tracer otherwise is excellent as long as you don't let little kids drop it around and not slam it around.

JG P90 Railed Edition

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I hope all had a very good time for the holidays! Sorry Ive been a little out of it do to getting ready for them so it took away from some of my blogging time. For Christmas I ended up with a JG P90 TR(Tri Rail). You can get one of these little guys at evike.com for $130. The gun is half polymer and half metal in resemblance to its real steel version. The gun is very small perfect for CQB or a secondary weapon. I personally will be using this gun as a secondary to my DMR (designated Marksman Rifle) and my sniper rifles. Now what is so special about the P90s is there bull pup design with a very high ROF (Rate Of Fire) with it being 100% ambidextrous. This design allows it to be about a foot and a half long with having the same barrel length of a HK G36c. A nice feature is that when the gun is on fully automatic when you pull the trigger half way it will only shoot one round and back all the way it goes on full auto much like the AUG design. So you don't sacrifice much range and accuracy with this weapon platform. In the airsoft world this gun is sought after for its ease to disassemble making it one of the simplest AEGs to get to the gearbox and inner barrel for maintenance and upgrades. I do suggest this gun to all types of players. The only downfall to the P90 series is there lack of mag pouches but it is being recognized and are starting to exist.I rate this 9/10 because the iron sights could have a nicer design but they do work 100% and my upper receiver has the slightest wobble to it.

Airsoft For Training

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Airsoft can be used safely for training in military, competition shooting and basic weapon handling. The realism of airsoft guns can be used in multiple aspects of training in almost every way except exact recoil. Everything from take down to function and muscle memory. Ipsc handgun competitors will sometimes practice with airsoft gas blow backs because they function the same can learn to change mags faster and gain muscle memory for quickly engaging targets. These guns can be used for law enforcement and military training so that there isn't the chance of danger from live rounds accidentally being placed with blanks and so that they can push each others skills by engaging in 1v1 or team vs team scenarios. Anyone wanting to learn the basic safety car and use of a firearm can use an airsoft gun instead of a real firearm if they are worried about being inexperienced and having a big risk in there hands. This is just another way for you to get into or use your airsoft equipment.

Another way to get into airsoft

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is a post dedicated to bringing gamers to there feet and into the sport of airsoft. So you like the thrill of head shots and kill to death ratios and exploring maps and different game play scenarios. Well why don't you do that but instead of turning on that xbox gather up your friends and play a airsoft game. Then people will get off your case about not being outside and being fit and you get to have the same fun if not more fun. But i want to play something other than death match! That isn't a problem you can play a game involving planting a simulated bomb by using an ipod on a timer in an open briefcase that you have to type a pass code in to defuse or something as simple as a timing stop watch in a box. Your only limited by your mind people! Play hostage games or survival games anything you play on xbox or ps3 can be simulated in airsoft! The equipment is there buy your favorite guns and gear while setting up a backyard field and props for different game types and get active!

Gas Rifles vs Electric Rifles

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnFkNK9dtcn6IRUOMRMzDNLCK08cMNfggz6b5YNpg4PVDJkyghyphenhyphen5M1Lb4qx9kn8aZuCLDXuIje5z3XqYgyODYM8VAbMgjxwDWc2uSekQKkJV3XMKiJqua2egtZ4ixTn_mtsqve6Ir65Dc/s1600/gr-we-m4ob.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="214" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnFkNK9dtcn6IRUOMRMzDNLCK08cMNfggz6b5YNpg4PVDJkyghyphenhyphen5M1Lb4qx9kn8aZuCLDXuIje5z3XqYgyODYM8VAbMgjxwDWc2uSekQKkJV3XMKiJqua2egtZ4ixTn_mtsqve6Ir65Dc/s320/gr-we-m4ob.jpg" /></a></div>Which type is better? Well its for what ever suits you best and after i am done explaining maybe you can choose which is right for you because its about whatever your style fits best. I personally own a couple from each side. I will also be talking about normal standard aegs not blow backs or the rumored erg series to be coming out by KWA. Lets start with the major difference the power supply. aegs run on a battery and gas run on basically propane or green gas. for a gas gun you have to fill the magazine with gas as to putting a battery in the gun. The operation of gas guns are all more or less a valving system that gives you a realistic action of blow back having some recoil with the bolt moving back and forth like the real gun operation and the bolt will lock back like a real gun when you need to reload. The downfall is you only have 30 rounds per mag and gas lasts almost two mags worth of bbs. as too an aeg which will go through a couple thousand rounds on one charge but you do not have any realistic functions of the bolt or bolt lock and recoil like the gas gun. Gas guns need maintenance more often but its very easy as to aegs need less frequent maintenance but its harder to do. Externally they look the same if its the same gun with same quality of coarse.Now its time for you to decide which suits your personality and hoped this helped! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.gamepod.com/images/jp28.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="212" width="515" src="http://www.gamepod.com/images/jp28.jpg" /></a></div>

Issues Finding a GBB Glock

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hello airsofter glock fans. Wondering why your having issues finding a gbb glock? This is a very common thing people wonder is "I don't see many gbb glock type pistols around (in the United States)". Well this is because of licensing issue with glock it self sadly. So does this mean they don't exist? No that is not true you can actually order them from over seas for the Tokyo Marui and KWA brand glocks which I personally believe are the best out there considering I have two KWA g19 and a KWA g18c that does shoot in semi and full auto so I may be a bit biased towards KWA/KSC glock type pistols. What if I don't want to order over seas because of shipping costs and customs issues? Well your almost out of luck but my good pal Evike.com occasionally has upper and lower half's for KWA g17s and g18cs. They also carry upper and lowers for the Tokyo Marui g17. Now we tech is also coming out with glocks but they are sold in uppers and lowers only on evike.com along with the old KJW glock type pistols which people basically blew off until the glock scarcity came up. This is the only way to get glock type GBBs! They aren't impossible to get but they aren't the easiest thing to get a hold of especially used because they are of high value for how rare they have become. If your interested in a glock check out evike.com in gas gun parts section! Hello readers I am going to share with you one of my on going projects. I am taking a WE-TECH 5.1 hi-capa that i got from evike.com and turning it into an airsoft IPSC (International practical shooting confederation) Limcat race gun with parts that I have been slowly ordering from around the world. The things I've bought for it so far a new slide, cocking handle, Pro arms 6.01 Tight Bore Barrel, Comp ready barrel, Compensator, and mag well. The things i still need to buy a sight mount, red dot, and a new charging handle because the one i have will not fit on the new slide i purchased. The picture above is what i have so far and this little guy is turning out to impress me considering most base guns are of the famous Tokyo Marui's but it is holding its own quite fine. Free mods ive done are raised the magazine gas lip for a better seal, filling of the grip to my preferences at the mag well and grip, I also polished the rails till i could see my face reflect on them along with tweaking my trigger pull to preference and rear grip safety tension I will put up another post when the gun reaches another big step and will be labeled the same tittle with part 2 if you interested on keeping track of this project. If you would like to purchase the gun im using as a base gun or see it here is the link: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_45_252&products_id=27384

Gold Socom Gear 1911a1 GBB

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is Socom Gear's golden government 1911a1 GBB(gas blow back) pistol. It is basically a standard WE TECH government 1911 because it uses the same 15 round magazines. This thing is a beauty! I ordered mine from evike.com for $165. They say there are only 500 of them but i find that hard to believe. The whole slide is TM compatible and some of the lower frame. Can get about 2 mags worth of gas on a warm day about 30-35 rounds. Shoots very well and accurate with matrix .20g bbs. It can be used in games not just a pretty hunk of metal and i use mine quite often! The gold finish is just a cool factor and makes you look like a cool cat. Has a threaded orange tip which is removable allowing for silencer or tracer attachments. The grips are soft rubber allowing it to stick to your hand with comfort. What isn't gold is black except i changed my barrel to a chrome one. Over all i give her a 8 out of 10 because it does everything you need it to but it does catch attention very easily and your always scared of messing up your gold finish.

Evike.com is my favorite airsoft retailer out of everyone. Shipping is always reasonably timed they don't mess around. I rate them 10 for 10! They have great prices on everything from bbs to accessories to guns. I only buy there bbs now because they are the cheapest high quality and i shoot them through my tight bore barrels for a few years now with out a single jam. I have also ordered about 10 airsoft guns from them always in perfect working order right out of the box except on one gun that i simply emailed them and they had me send it in for a new one. If you have any problem with them they will always go out of there way to fix it. You will be on hold for a while if you try to call them but they are dealing with thousands of calls so i cant really complain. They also have there own airsoft forum to talk with fellow airsofters. I love Evike.com so much because they will always work with you and if there is a mistake they will do everything they can to fix even if it isn't there fault. If you need any airsoft equipment at all this is whom I suggest you take a look at first. Please check out www.Evike.com for any airsoft equipment needs!

75rd Magpul Emag Review

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

These are m4/m16 style airsoft magazines. The Magpul emags made by Star green label series. They hold 75 rounds with out risking feed malfunction/breaking and I believe will hold up to 80 but wouldn't try it. These are mid capacity magazines so that means there isn't any winding or rattling but you do have to use a speed loader to fill them and you can can keep reloading mags because you can get a bunch since there only $9 each of of evike.com <a href="http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=34416"></a>. They are very light weight but are high quality. These look great on standard m4s but i believe they where made for other type 5.56 rifles that except the m4/m16 style magazines like the acr. These do not however fit into my Echo1 m8a3 dmr style m4 so keep note if you have that gun and the reason is because the front of the magazine well comes to far down in the front which i did not not know until i tried them on that gun. However they fit in my echo1 m4a1 perfectly fine and work flawlessly after I broke them in which is required for all high quality mid capacity magazines.The bottom plates do come off but don't really do anything. You will however notice that there is a circle on top that says "80" if you can turn it 90 degrees it will release all of the springs tension but will pop open very rapidly. Notice i did however say If you can turn it because it is extremely hard to do. Cosmetics on this magazine are amazing with Magpul trade marks and window showing fake bullets replicating the real steel version showing how many rounds you have. From 1 to 10 i rate these a 8.5 ignoring my bias for these mags. Even though i love them they do not fit every style m4 like they should and i did have issues with breaking them in (took longer to break in then should have) Otherwise they work extremely well even for high speed guns that will shoot 31 rounds per second.
