Hi everyone! So this is going to be a simple review on the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer! So a couple of months ago I placed an order at ebeauty for this skin enhancer. I had found this product through some blogs and it had received great reviews so I decided to give it a try. It comes in a very small container and it has a very thick consistency. It's very creamy and smooth almost looks like whipped cream, however it is not whipped. Now when I first saw it I was kind of taken aback with this product since it was so small, but when I started using it I realized how little you need and this is coming from someone that loves to use a generous amount of everything when it comes to foundations, creams etc. However with this a small amount really goes a long way! It also comes in a variety of shades from light to really dark with yellow, pink and neutral undertones! And that's something I was excited about because my skin has a lot of golden/yellow undertones and finding a product that would literally 'enhance' my skin was what I was looking for! And this product really nailed it for me. It is definitely medium to full coverage. You can use it as concealer or foundation the choice is yours. This little gem is so versatile you can even get a shade or two lighter and use it as a highlighter or get a couple shades darker to contour your face! It costed me around $50, but since I live in Canada it was a tad expensive, however if you live in the US I know you can buy this at Nordstrom for $45.

Pros: Good variety of shades, buildable, versatile, natural, high pigment, easy to use, will last a long time, good longevity on skin.

Cons: Needs to be set with a powder, needs to be blended well, small size, expensive, may not be easily accessible.

Hello everyone today we thought we'd do a post about some of our favorite places to shop! We love shopping, it is one of our favorite hobbies! These stores may be different for some of you because some of these shops are only here in Canada or in America. We love to go shopping in the states! Hell, we like to go shopping anywhere!! ;)


1. Aritzia - This is one of our favorite shops! This is only located in Canada although they do have some locations in the states. Their clothing is very fashion forward and have the most simple but high quality clothing without breaking the bank. Their clothing are on trend and have exclusive brands such as Talula, Wilfred, TNA and many more!

2. Holt Renfrew- If we want to opt for something more high-end we love Holt Renfrew. This is only available in Canada and they carry some of the most luxurious brands! This is very similar to Neiman Marcus which is in the States. Check out my (A's) latest purchase from Holt here ! :)

3. Nordstrom. Whenever we go shopping in the states Nordstrom is our favorite place to shop. There is something here for everyone and we love it. From their beauty items to their clothing that we cannot get back in Canada this is the place where we like to come.

4. Nordstrom Rack- As if Nordstrom wasn't perfect, there also exists a Nordstrom Rack! This is where Nordstrom has some of their clearance items and where we find amazing deals from some of the best brands!

5. J. Crew- J. Crew is Awesome. They have the best sweaters (including cashmere!) that are simple yet on trend. The quality is amazing for their clothes and we can find very nice pieces that are great for everyday staples.

6. Shoppers Drug Mart- Only located in Canada, this is one of our best drug store. They have a wide range of brands to choose from. We love coming here for their beauty products from nail polishes to make-up.

7. The Bay- This is a very big department store and they carry many goods. We love buying our beauty related items from here since they have mostly everything! and also like to stop by their clothing/shoes to see what we can find!


8. Gap- If we ever need any basic clothing such as tees or sweaters this is another of our faves! The quality of their clothing is not bad at all for the price!

The classic Chanel Flap bag in Caviar leather and gold hardware in the size jumbo, which is the second largest size. I'm OBSESSED with this bag and love it sooo much! I haven't worn it yet, but I can not wait to wear it since it makes pretty much any outfit look 1000x better! It's such a classic piece that I will keep forever. Get rid of Acne Scars!- J's Skincare Routine

Hellooooo everyone! Today I J will be sharing my skincare routine and how I got rid of acne and acne scarring! Acne is the worst thing ever. When I first started getting acne, I was super embarrassed. It really brings you down 24/7 and never wanted to leave the house. Another pain of acne is the amount of time it takes for it to be completely removed. I personally didn't have severe acne but it was still pretty bad. Sooo anyways fast forward a few years and now I'm completely acne free!! yay! I do occasionally break out here and there but then again who doesn't.

Cetaphil !

Cetaphil is amazing. I have been using this cleanser for about a year now. Back in February I had very bad acne scarring on my cheeks and this was the cleanser my doctor had recommended. My scarring had gotten pretty bad and I wanted it gone ASAP. So another thing my doctor prescribed me was benzoyl peroxide cream. This cream was literally a miracle. I started noticing a huge difference in the first week and was completely gone in a span of two months!

A miracle!

After I cleanse my face I put this cream on with a Q-tip right before bed. Once in a while after using cetaphil I do use a toner for my face. The toners I use are the ones from The Body Shop. Both pictured below are amazing and leave my face feeling fresh.

That's it for my skin care routine! I don't use many products nor moisturizers on my face at night anymore because of the benzoyl cream and as recommended by my doctor. You can purchase Cetaphil from any drugstore near you such as Shoppers Drug Mart here in Canada or Target. As for the benzoyl peroxide, you should talk to your doctor about that so they can see if its for you!

Hey everyone! I went to a local mall in Bellingham WA and picked up a few random bits and pieces. Thought I'd share and do a review on some lipsticks as well! Hope you enjoy :) xoxo

Some Lashes

These are the Demi Wispies by Ardell and I got these from Sally's beauty Supply! I love how they have so many lashes to choose from. Ardell is probably my favorite for lashes just because they aren't over priced considering the amount of times I'm going to use them. I don't like spending ridiculous amounts on lashes since I like my lashes to look nice and fresh and only use each pair 3 times maximum and that's only if end up taking care of them...

These are the Ardell Wispies and I bought these at Target. These are a bit bigger than the demi wispies (pictured above) I love these a bit more!

Top Coat by Beauty Secrets is the top coat I have been using for years! It comes in this 75ml bottle that will last you years without drying out or anything! I repurchased this from Sally's beauty supply for around $9 and it does the job what more can I say?

R-L: Lancôme high resolution day cream and Lancôme high resolution eye cream.
The lady at the Lancôme counter gave these to me for free when I purchased a couple lipsticks (mentioned below) . These aren't the full size, but are huge for sample sizes as you can tell. Will probably last me a great amount of time!

Color is Wannabe and in this picture it's coming out a lot brighter, but in real life it's just a tad darker with more purple I'd say. The texture of this lipstick is so nice! It's not drying at all, but not super shiny either.

Pink Preview by Lancôme! Such a pretty pink! This pink is perfect for olive skin tones or skin tones with yellow undertones and of course it would look amazing if you have a tan! It's the perfect pink without screaming PINK!! If you know what I mean. It definitly has purple undertones in it and I can not say enough about the texture. It does not settle into lines and gives such a soft beautiful finish! And it's completely matte BUT it not drying what so ever! It's pretty much the most perfect lipstick I have ever come across and it's flattering on all skin tones! Can not say enough about this one!

A Healthy Life

Hey everyone! So this post is a bit different than our usual posts, but has very much to do with looking and feeling well, but on a different level. So both of us are completely into eating well and working out! And if you are interested in how we stay motivated we can for sure do a post on that and give real tips that actually work!, so just comment asking for that. However this post is going to be a simple post letting you all know what some of the things that we love to eat! So I, A am a vegetarian and for most part vegan because I almost never have any dairy or animal products and J has meat in her diet, but no red meat. On a whole we both are really into staying healthy. Below I have posted some pictures of some of our favorite healthy foods as well as a list of foods that we eat. Just for everyone's information we are not on diets, but instead this is what are healthy lifestyle looks like :). This is what we eat and it may or may not be right for you. We in no way are professionals so obviously always take everything with a grain of salt. Hope you enjoy...xoxo

Our favorite brand of cereal! Kashi makes so many different cereals and they all taste amazing! If you find them too boring add some fruit like blueberries or bananas! Super healthy and super good for you!

Mini whole wheat bagels are perfect when you are craving well bagels, but don't want to indulge in 300 + calories! These mini bagels are actually the perfect size and only have 110 calories! and taste amazing!

Whole wheat bread is always allowed! Dont over indulge in bread, but when you do, make sure it's whole wheat! and I like to get bread that's a bit more thinly sliced, so fewer calories, but you are still eating bread :) This particular one is my favorite and only has 80 calories per slice and a long list of nutrients of course!

We love carbs of course and like I said before we are not on diets, but instead this is just the way we eat so of course we're going to have carbs. I mean how can a person go their whole life without pasta and bread?! But the thing is we almost never have anything white! our pasta, bread, bagels or whatever it may be is always whole wheat and of course smaller portions!

Ahh I don't think we can say enough about this milk! This is truly amazing! only 35 calories per cup! Comes in different delicious flavours and packed with nutrition. Great substitute for milk.

Herbal teas are great! With natural health benefits and something to sip on throughout the day they are just perfect! Stash is my favorite brand for teas. I always end up liking which ever flavour I try of theirs over other brand, but that's just me. Tazo is great too :)

Veggies burgers are our favorite foods! These veggie patties come in a big box from Costco! Best tasting veggie burgers ever! and of course so healthy for you!

More veggie burgers! These can be purchased at many grocery store (not in Canada sadly). We have many favorite meat alternative brands! Will be discussed in a later post

Craving ice cream anyone?! Try this Soy dairy free ice cream . Of course it's a bit different than the real thing, but good for those who don't mind and think health over anything!

Green drink anyone? Another healthy thing everyone should incorporate in to their diets is juicing! If you are interested in the recipe for this über delicious drink comment below! We also use this amazing book Raw Food Juice Bar! You can purchase here!

These are just some foods that we eat! We eat a much bigger variety of super healthy foods that hit all the marks of healthy eating. Here's a short list of only of the other foods

Skin Care Routine!

A's Skincare Routine

Hey everyone! So today I, A was in a skin care type of mood lol. I'll be letting you guys know what I use for my skin and what's been working for me! My skin type is combination oily. For the most part my skin is oily, but lately I have been quite dry in some areas and I'm not the biggest fan of dry skin!!! I just think in the long run oily skin is better and makeup looks better on oily skin. So here below are pictures of everything I use for my skin and mini reviews! I know that we don't have any pictures of ourselves on our blog yet but we're working on putting some up soon. However in the mean time I will let you know that I have acne prone skin, but for the most part my skin is very well behaved and for the most part clear! With that being said I take really good care of my skin! I've never slept with makeup on or anything like that and I honestly believe that you are not just born with good skin, but 50% or more than 50% of the time it also depends a lot on how well you take care of your skin! Not just using products on your face, but other things like changing your pillowcases or cleaning your glasses so the parts that touch your face are clean! Anyways enough babbling here it is... Hope you enjoy!

Keeping Healthy

Okay so these are the products that I use on my skin after I cleanse my face. I don't use all these products at once or even in the same day, but I rotate with these depending on my skins needs at the time.

So for daily moisturizers I use Biotherm and have been using it for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it! It's a bit expensive, but totally worth it! I use their aquasource balm moisturizer (mentioned in favorites).

Another moisturizer I use is from The Body Shop! I really love The Body Shop for their skin care lines and also have been using it for a couple years! I use their Vitamin E moisture cream and am also absolutely in love with it because it's just perfect! Smells amazing, non greasy and lightweight, but still moisturizes. Continuing with the Body Shop I use their Tea Tree Toner before my moisturizer and there's not much I can say about it other than it is great and removes any last traces of makeup and just makes my skin feel balanced and fresh! I also use the Body Shop's eye gel, however this gel doesn't actually improve the skin around your eyes it definitely de-puffs and freshens up your eyes! At night I use the Body Shops Nutriorganics night cream and it has organic ingredients and leaves your skin feeling super soft when you wake up!

I also use Origins GinZing eye cream (mentioned in favorites) and that also de-puffs and is amazing for prepping eyes for concealer!
Something that I use everyday multiple times a day especially in the summer is my Vichy sunscreen and it's a whopping SPF 60, but before you get scared let me tell you that it is extremely important to wear sun protection! I wanna have a flawless face naturally for the rest of my life and if that means wearing SPF I will do so religiously without complaining! I only use a small amount of this stuff and I own the travel size as well as the full size! You will thank yourself later as you age if you wear sun protection!

Biore Pore strips are another skin care product that I love! They get the job done quick and easy! It only takes ten minutes for you to see your pores around your nose clean! You wet your nose and stick the strip right on, let it dry for ten minutes or so and then peel off and you will be surprised at how much dirt can get trapped in your pores! These are a must have item for everyone!

Lastly like mentioned in our favorites the Bliss ingrown hair pads do an amazing job at clearing up our skin! Even though that is not what they are meant for, they truly are a hidden gem! You can buy the small pack of ten from Sephora for about $10 and you will definitely be hooked! Give em a try you will not be disappointed I promise!

Keeping Clean

So the three products above are all drug store and these are the three that I use to cleanse my face . The Olay face wash in the middle is something I have been using forever now and it has always worked for my skin! It works just as good or even better in my opinion than any high end facial cleanser. The Neutrogena acne facial wash is something I use after I cleanse my face just to get rid of any bacteria that may be left on my skin. And lastly St. Ives Scrub is something most people know of and there isn't much I can say about it that others have not other than it's amazing and also gets the job done! I don't use this everyday, but maybe 3 or 4 times a week.

Keeping Beautiful

I use a lot of face masks to keep my skin nice, however I don't use them that often just because too many products on your skin are not that good in the long run. I use a lot of Body Shop's facial masks (I have only two pictured, but I have used others also). I feel that since the Body Shop has a different lines of skin care for different skin types I won't go into detail about the ones I have used in this post because that will take forever so instead if you are interested I recommend that you go into the The Body Shop or go on their website and see which ones cater to your skin type and needs! Overall I love all the masks that I have tried from there so I'm sure they have a perfect mask waiting in store for you :). Another company that makes great masks that I love is Lush handmade cosmetics. Their masks are super fresh and made with real ingredients and again they have a wide variety of masks for different skin types. My favorite one is definitely the cupcake mask! It is amazing! smells amazing and leaves your skin so soft and so hydrated.

T3 Hair Straightner Review

Hello everyone! So today's post is going to be about the best straightener ever! The T3 Bespoke SinglePass.

We love this straightener and have been using this for the past two years <3 I, J have extremely thick curly hair and this tool works wonders for my hair. It calms down the frizz and does a great job! This straightener is also fast and works quickly to straighten hair.The thing I like about it is the wide plates. You can straighten more hair at a time in comparison to others. I also find that this straightener leaves your hair smooth and not fried! Another great plus is you can use it on wet hair ;) Even though it does say you can use it on wet hair, I recommend you should dry it a little first and then use it. Your hair also stays straightened for a long time (until you wash it of course).

Hey Everyone! Here's another post or skin secret as we like to call it! Like everyone else we too are always looking for products that will make our skin softer, smoother and just perfect! So on our hunt for the perfect products we found a couple that work amazing for us.

Cactus Body Brush By The Body Shop

This baby right here does the job! It's the best thing ever! You can get this brush from the The Body Shop and I, A have been using this religiously and it has helped me achieve super smooth legs and arms! It may seem a little rough at first but I promise you it will not scratch your skin instead it will clean beautifully and polish away! And for those of you who need to exfoliate before and after spray tans etc. this will be perfect! Super easy to use with the handle and just pure amazingness! <3

After Exfoliation Comes Lotion!

Now everyone has heard of Aveeno, but even though most of us know about it we may or may not have used it, but let us tell you that we actually started using this lotion when we got our tattoos and the tattoo artist recommended it on his little list of tattoo after care and since then we have become big fans! This lotion moisturizes without making your skin greasy! It really is like no other. Even if you miss a day your body still stays moisturized! I, A buy my lotion in bulk at Costco! It's inexpensive there and you can usually get 2 large bottles for a low price. :)

Doll Lashes<3

We absolutely love mascara! We love that doll eyed look and to be honest we don't care if our mascara looks too thick because that is what gives you that doll look! We discovered this mascara by Lancome last year and we fell in love! This one does not make your lashes clumpy what so ever, but still makes them look thick and long...however this isn't the mascara that we wear when we want to get extra dolled up because it's still a little on the natural side, but it is the mascara that is perfect for every day wear since it doesn't look like cakey.

Larger Than Life by Nars<3

These are long wearing eye liner pencils from Nars and they are the best eyeliners we have tried so far and trust us we have tried many! These are comparable to the urban decay 24 hours. We usually wear these in our water line and they do not smudge what so ever and stay on all day! The swatches above do not do these two justice so you must check them out for yourself. They come in a variety of colours and we cannot wait to pick up some others!

Luxury Lipgloss<3

To start off we must say that the texture and quality of all these lip glosses is amazing! so cushiony and soft and not sticky or gross at all! We wish we could buy them in every color they are so perfect and have the most beautiful packaging! To die for we swear<3 The Nars one in Couer Sucre is the perfect Barbie pink! We would cry if it were discontinued! The next Chanel one is so amazing, it's a sheer pink that has blue, silver and white very tiny shimmers/glitters! It is one of the most coolest lip glosses ever! You must swatch it next time you are at a Chanel counter! The last two are perfect opaque coloured lip glosses! and they come in the most beautiful black tubes!! The quality of the glosses is beyond any that we have ever tried!

We've been reaching for these polishes everytime we're in the mood to do our nails! OPI's Alpine Snow is hands down our favorite polish! We wear this color all the time doesn't matter winter or summer! The next one is by Island Girl and we love this color!! It's a neon baby pink color! There are not many dupes out there for this one, but the downside to this is it's only available in the States at ABC Stores! :( and we live in Canada so we recently picked this up from Hawaii! The next one by OPI is a perfect bright mint green! and mint has been so popular these past couple years that we cannot get enough. The next two are quite crazy, but we love them regardless! They don't need much explaining as they speak for themselves! We love neons!

Signature Scent<3

Hypnotic Poison by Dior
This is a perfume that we literally swear by. It smells amazing! Mysterious and mesmerizing this scent will leave you speechless and we get tons of compliments ;) This is a perfume that we will always repurchase, it never gets old! We even have a mini one that we carry around in our bags! You can find the exact notes of it here. To us it smells sweet yet musky, but still very sophisticated! You just want to eat it! :)

Life Savers!

These pads are a god sent! We usually don't use them for in grown hair because that hasn't been much of a problem however they still work amazing for in grown hairs, but what we use them for is all over face wipes! especially when we break out and need a quick fix to get rid of bumps and spots ASAP!! and these do the job in no time! They are a little pricy :( around $45, but they are so amazing that they are definitely worth it! They don't dry out your skin and target the problem area right away, getting rid of any blemishes and bumps overnight! ( This product is so good it's supposed to be a secret!!! shhhh! )

Biotherm Deep hydration replenishing Balm for very dry skin

This is part of myself A's skincare routine and is a moisturizer that I use religiously. It smells great and has a thick creamy balm like texture that is great for my dry skin. Smells great too and lasts a very long time.

Origins GinZing Eye Cream

This cream is a great eye cream for those who wake up super early like ourselves to get ready for school or work and need a quick fix to puffy eyes! This eye cream actually works and like every other product in this list we love it because it definitely does what it says!

Olay Foaming Face Wash

This has been a product that I, A have used pretty much all my life! I repurchase this every time I run out and the thing that makes me purchase this again and again is the fact that this it is so easy to use and it removes all my makeup while cleansing my skin! I use the combination/oily one as well as the sensitive skin one (not pictured) depending on how my skin is feeling.

Nars Orgasm

This is a blush that we LOVE! There are tons of reviews of this blush already so we wont talk too much about it, but all we can say is that it's a perfect blush to liven up our complexions without too much shimmer! and of course perfect peachy pink color!<3

Mac's Mineralize Skin Finish in Gold Deposit

This skin finish by MAC is just amazing! I, A use it every time I do my makeup! It gives the nicest glow and makes you look like a perfectly tanned bronze godess! Careful not to go overboard with this product however!

Foundations That We LOVE<3

These two foundations have always been our favorites! the powder foundation on the left has been repurchased again and again by myself, A many times! However the Teint Innocence which is a beautiful sheer foundation has been discontinued by Chanel :( I still have some left and have been saving it for special occasions because it gives you the perfect finish! So if you can still find it anywhere grab it to try it out because it truly is amazing! Works wonders if you have clear skin to begin with too!

Diorskin Forever Flawless Perfection Wear Makeup

We're always on the hunt for good foundations and this one is our HG foundation! It's perfect! It works well on both oily and dry skin ( if you have extremely dry skin then just mix moisturizer! ). You can definitely build up the coverage with this one even though it's probably medium coverage and its called flawless for a reason! The staying power of this foundation is amazing. I put this on at 7am on school days and lasts throughout all day without any weird patchy spots or anything like that! And of course I have repurchased this product more than once! <3

Quo Precision Foundation Kabuki Brush!

This is a foundation brush that is just amazing! It's super soft, very good quality and inexpensive (if you buy it on sale, which they usually have on once in a while). The only negative is that this brand is only available in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart, we have never seen it anywhere else :( Quo however makes an awesome line of brushes! They may be a little pricy when they aren't on sale so we recommend waiting till they go on sale because Shoppers always does an amazing 40% off these brushes! This brush is quite dense and gets into all the tiny places like around the nose and under the eyes and is just perfect! <3

Bath and Body Works Shower Gels!

We never thought that we would end up liking these. We always thought they would smell fake and smell of chemicals, but we were surprised when we first got a sample size and ended up loving these! Our favorite scents are the two mentioned above and these are hands down our favorite shower gels<3 Lather amazing and make your whole entire shower smell delicious and the scent actually lingers on your skin! and thats a feature we are always looking for in shower gels! p.s these are super inexpensive! We picked these up for $4 each on sale! :)

This is their Spring/Summer collection and love every color. Butter London has such different and unique colors that no other brand has. Summers here!!!! Y'all know what that means... time to bring out the summer smellsssss haha. When we say summer perfumes what we mean is something that smells lightweight, floral, sugary, fresh, fruity,soft and salty(kidding!) lol.

Marc Jacobs - Daisy Limited Edition!!

Marc Jacobs perfumes are sweeeeeeeeeeeet. Literally. Their all so"summery" lol. The regular daisy and the limited edition one basically have the same smell to it and they smell amazeballs :0 and both of the them do last a pretty long time. We would totally recommend!!! p.s how cute are the lids!?!?

Moving along...

Juicy Couture!

This is the original Juicy perfume and we both have had this one for the longesttttttttttttttt time! To describe the smell we would say it smells fruity but also tangy at the same time, if that makes sense. (suck at describing smells, FOL).


Chanel Chance is bombtastic!

Last but certainly not least here we have the Chanel Chance sheer moisture mist. This is not the actual fragrance it's a body mist for the Chanel Chance perfume. I, J purchased this not too long ago because I fell in love with the smell right away! It's divine. It smells sooo fresh and soft!!!!!! Although this doesn't last as long as the fragrance would it's still amazeballs. The perfume that goes with this mist is what I NEED to get next. I have no idea why I didn't get the fragrance instead of this mist at the time FML (stupid!).

So these are the perfumes we've been loving for the summer so far. We're sure you can get these at any places where fragrances are sold LOL. Thanks for reading!

Deborah Lippmann- Across the Universe

This was purchased recently by me A, and had to try it on asap. Although I have it on now, this colour would be perfect for winter! The quality of Deborah Lippmann is amazing! No wonder it's on the pricey side! All you really need is two coats of this polish and you're good to go lol. The best thing about this is it doesn't chip fast.Chipped nails are such a pain in the ass!


Loveeeeee this colour <3 I, J cannot wait to steal this and try it on (shhhhhh!!!) :)
