Makeup Collection?

Every so often I like to go through my makeup collection to re-organize it, and toss out the things that I know are old. Ladies, please remember that makeup does not last forever.

I have been getting a lot of request lately to do an updated collection and setup video. The last time I filmed my makeup collection was April 2011. As of right now I am pretty happy with the way I have my stuff setup since I just went through it. I may just upload one soon if you would like. Let me know in the comments below!

Sigma Sigmax Precision Brush Kit

I will admit that I love to buy and collect brushes more than anything else. To me they play a huge part in my makeup application that is well worth the investment. Brushes are meant to last a lifetime if they are of good quality and well cared for.

Recently I have been obsessed with my Sigma Precision set. This kit comes with four different brushes: P80, P82, P84, and P86. All of these brushes are great when it comes to concealer application and eyeshadow primer/bases. You can even use the P84 (angled brush) to contour your nose, it works wonderfully. They are the perfect size to place and blend product right where you need it. The bristles are soft to the touch, These brushes were made to act just like your finger tips when applying and blending product.

Since the fibers are synthetic they can be a little tricky to clean, especially if you are using them with creamy products. Don't worry, just mix equal parts of Olive Oil, and Dish soap together to create a cleaning solution. Then simply wash your brushes as normal with the mixture under warm water.

I highly recommend this brush kit for anyone who wants the perfect product application that requires little effort. You can buy this kit for $49.00 or purchase the brushes for $14.00 each. You can check out Sigma brushes by visiting their site here!

Cover Girl 24HR Mascara

I was shopping in Target one day and got distracted by a huge display of Cover Girl mascaras. I love to try out new products, which is why I was so distracted by 'NEW' written all over the display. This is the Cover Girl Lash Blast 24HR mascara. It's supposed to last 24 hours on your lashes without flaking or need of reapplying. If you are like me, then you are already a fan of the original Lash Blast mascara. It provides amazing length and separation without clumping. The 24HR is just the same, except it last all day!

The shade I picked up is a black mascara with tons of finely milled gold shimmer. It's such a fun and unique product. It looks amazing on the lashes when the light hits them. I just love it! I think this would be perfect for special events and night time looks. It does live up to its name, it last a long time on my lashes. However, when it comes to removing this it can be a little difficult. I would suggest to use an eye makeup remove if you don't normally.

Over all I am a big fan of this mascara and I think you all should give it a go!

Revlon Lip Butter Review

I recently just picked up a few Revlon Lip Butters from my Walgreens and Target store due to all the hype on YouTube. I can happily say that I love these! They are super creamy, smooth, and highly pigmented. I also find that they last a good while on my lips without fading. I really like the packaging. They have a clear top which you're able to see the color right through. Also the color of the tube is the color of the Lip Butter. It comes in handy if you own multiples. However I think the price is a but high for what you get, but thats just me. I would suggest to grab them when they are on sale!

Pink Truffle, Candy Apply, Cherry Tart

If I had to pick a favorite I would say it's Candy Apple! I love this red against my complexion.

We all know how hyped up the Urban Decay Naked palette was. Since then Urban Decay has released a second edition. You can watch my video on YouTube to see what I think about both palettes in detail. As I stated in the video, I believe that Urban Decay makes amazing quality eyeshadows. They are well formulated and easy to apply. If you are one who uses neutral eyeshadows on a regular bases I would highly recommend the Naked 2 palette to you. If you have the first Naked palette I would sill suggest getting the second in addiction because the palettes are very different. $50.00 might seem like a lot of money for eyeshadows but you have to look at it as getting 12 full sized urban Decay eyeshadows for $50.00. The retail value of just one Urban Decay shadow is $17.00, in my mind this palette is well worth getting!

Music Obsession: One Direction

Every once in a while I will come across a music artist or band that I'm just obsessed with. This time around it's One Direction! One Direction if you don't know is a UK band made up of five totally hot guys. I swear it's the greatest eye candy I could of ever wished for. They started out on X Factor, and since then came out with there album Up All Night which was released in November.

I know I shouldn't pick favorites... but what can I say, I'm in love with Harry and Zayn! Like I mentioned in my vlog Zayn always has perfect hair and is extremely sexy! As for Harry he is absolutely stunning, and has a voice that makes my body scream! Seriously, when I look at photos of Harry and Zayn it makes me wish I had an English boyfriend! Did I mention their accents, pure gold!
