The DS-9868 is a budget wise and slim keyboard for the avid gamer or the typical computer user that wants some flair in their computer setup.

Only Blue LED variants are available for the DS-9868.
The box comes with the keyboard with a 1 meter long cable with a USB connector at the end.
The keyboard uses the scroll lock button as a switch for the LEDs to turn on or off.

Sennheiser IE8 OEM / FAKE Review

Sennheiser IE8 OEM

Okay I got myself a pair of 2 Sennheiser IE8s. Both are the so called "OEM" versions of the said model.
I only wanted to buy 1 but the guy I bought it from gave me a buy the first at full and buy the 2nd at only 20% the price, so there I bought two pieces.

My main purpose was only to try out the sound quality if it passes my rather demanding music ears.

Inspecting the box I noticed the major give away which was the misplaced bar code on the bottom of the box. As you can see in the image above, the bar code starts at the bottom of
the letter R of the word SENNHEISER which was one of the major flaws of the OEM variants.

Nearly perfect copy from the original if I may so myself. So cutting the seal at the back, which is also present in the original variant, I get to remove the hard plastic covering the inside of the box as seen in the image below.

On removal of the hard plastic covering, I was able to access the mesh on top of the IEM.
As you can see, the visible part in the box is the IEM and 4 tips for it. A close up picture on the IEM is shown below.

Removing the mesh reveals the tray where the IEM and the 4 tips are placed. The tray is also the storage container for the IEM where it is placed in the box included.

Let's go deeper. After removing the tray we see the box with all the accessories of the IE8 inside it.

The accessories are as follows ( from left to right ):

Going back to the tray, underneath the tray is the cleaning and adjustment tool. Also, there is a small compartment where you can place your ear tips, or the salt pad.

Now going to the IEM.
The IEM themselves are well detailed, it would be able to deceive anyone not familiar with the cosmetics of the original unit.

The sound quality of these IEMs were great, boasting a good balance of treble and bass. Without even changing anything on the player, the Bass control on the IEM works perfectly. Giving out a greater amount of Bass depending on the adjustment on either ear of the IEM.

All instruments could be heard, even the slightest click of the cymbal.

As an avid music lover and a video editor, I would recommended these earphones to those who love music but has a very tight budget.

But for those who're after the prestige of owning one of these powerful IE8s, well these aren't for you.

All in all, these "OEM" IE8s are great enough for the ears of a music lover with a shallow pocket.

Each and everyone of is very familiar with the aspect of dating. There are quite many people who are in to dating. Some of these people are teenagers, single adults, and there are even some single parents partake in this endeavor. But what is dating really about? Is it about the getting to know each other and

ending up in a relationship? Or, is about just having fun?

Dating is an activity, which involves two people. Usually people not fully acquainted with each other. Sometimes it involves two people who are in a relationship. In dating, it is so often held in a restaurant wherein the two talk people about each other. Their likes, hobbies, what they eat, or work is the topic often talked about. There are times; however that it isn't held in a restaurant or any food chain for that matter. Sometimes they just go to a park together or maybe walk by the bay.

Nowadays, dating is done online. With the advancement of technology, dating also has advanced. Online dating via instant messenger or (IM) along with the use of a webcam and a microphone, is quite the trend today. Also, interested singles that are looking for a relationship or maybe a lifetime partner may opt to take a look at online dating sites. These dating sites work like networking sites such as Facebook, Friendster, Multiply, etc.

However, these dating sites are a little different. Like as all networking sites, interested singles may create their own profiles and customize it. In their profiles unlike the other networking sites, they have the option to choose from "looking for woman" if they are males and "looking for man" for females. Each user's profile is viewed by others who are probably looking for friend, a relationship, or maybe a companion.

There are also dating sites for singles Asian. These dating sites compose mostly of Asian singles that are looking for other Asians. Though these dating sites are composed of Asians, there others too who are not Asian whom are looking for Asian partners. There are other dating sites as well where other singles abound.

Dating however, is not limited to dating sites and IMs. There are also social games in the internet where people meet each other. Some of these are Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) games and Flash games in networking sites.

In MMOs users create their own character to their liking, and go on with the game while meeting other characters controlled by other users. These characters represent the users in the gaming world and thus, the social world of the users have is taken in to a new level. Whether the character is male or female, the user or the one controlling the character is what counts. As said by most people; “People get to know each other by having fun.”

On the other hand, flash games are somehow the same as MMOs except that it is more simple and straightforward. A user creates a character or avatar, and they mingle with other users using the built in social skills incorporated in the game.

All in all, dating is no longer limited to simply, “dining out. “ Technology has become a factor in dating today and it will improve dating even further in the future.

The Traditions of the Past is the Imposed Norm of Today

Many people nowadays, especially parents are programmed with the traditions of the past. Parents who are are instilled with the old ways keep saying to their children; "Study hard so that you can get a good job and a high paying position". They do not realize that this advise is no longer being observed by most students of today. Students today spend most their time in computer shops playing games with their friends. Some students even go to bars
and just have fun.

What parents keep thinking is that once their children get good grades, their chances of getting a high paying job is high. Unfortunately this way of thinking is proven to be a failure and the proof are the thousands of unemployed graduates.

I remember meeting this guy who was at the cashier at Starbucks who was sad of what he was doing. He asked what year I was in Computer Science since he saw my ID lace which had a "Computer Science" printed on it. I said I was in third year. He asked if I was in the top something of my batch, and I said no. Then he mentioned that he was a Computer Science graduate back in 2004 and he was the top in his batch. I asked him, "What are you doing in Starbucks then? Shouldn't you be in a known computer company?" He answered me in a sad tone, "I was rejected in 4 major companies. They said that I wasn't qualified enough to be in their company." I was overwhelmed by what he said. I thought to myself, he graduated with honors and he was rejected just like that? Then what will happen to me and other students? I asked him if he applied a job at Starbucks after being rejected. He answered me with a no. He said that he took a crash course in Hotel and Restaurant Management just to be able to get a job.

With that reality in mind, I began to think why parents keep on insisting on getting a job. I understand that this was how they were programmed when they were young, but they do not realize that most students of today don't want to have a job. Because they know that a job will not last and they will be removed or replaced by someone better.

However with the intense pressure brought upon by parents and the education system, students follow what is they believe the norm which is imposed.

And that norm is:

"Study hard so that you can get a good job and a high paying position"

Dell has made quite a breakthrough in this model.

Dell Optiplex SX260

Dell with style and power in mind, was able to design a small but utterly efficient computer which is the SX260, a part of the Optiplex family.

It runs on a Pentium 4 2.0 Gigahertz processor along with a 256 Megabytes of system RAM. A 40 Gigabyte IDE hard disk for just the right amount of space for the user.

The motherboard with a 845G Chipset by Intel running a Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz, which can be upgraded to 2.8 Gigahertz and the memory also can be upgraded up to 2 Gigabytes of RAM.

Imagine, a 9.7 * 3.5 * 9.5 inch PC running such power?

The motheboard though has one big problem, it has no option for any PCI cards nor an AGP Video Card for expansion.

The SX260 is powered by GMCH or Graphics and Memory Controller Hub which is integrated on the motherboard which is hotwired to the motherboard chipset.

Another downfall on this model by DELL is the option for a secondary hard drive. Though the motherboard's BIOS supports up to 250 Gigabyte drive. There is only one bay for a 2.5 INCH Hard Drive.

There are FOUR *4* USB 2.0 Ports at the back and TWO *2* at the front below the DELL Logo.

The SX260 is driven by Intel's AC'97 Audio which features Stereo Conversion of 16-Bit analog to digital and 20-Bit digital to analog which is quite a boost for an integrated sound card.

Two audio ports can be found both at the back and the front of the SX260. One is for the Stereo out and the other for the Microphone In at the front and Back.
